(Previously: Gredlor kidnapped Zelda by force after killing all of her guards. Let's see what happened to our friends in Dream Land.)
"GAAAHHH!!!" Metaknight traded blows with Roy, while Marth charged up his sword. "You will not get away insulting me!" Marth swung his fully charged sword down on Metaknight, which Metaknight dodged. Roy charged at Metaknight, but tripped over one of the bodies that were littering the ground.
"You know, fighting is the last thing you should be doing." Roy looked up from the ground and Marth and Metaknight spun around from the sound of the voice. Link was standing not to far off with Kirby and King Dee Dee Dee in tow. Link had his sword drawn and his shield at ready, just in case he actually had to fight.
"Meta... knight...?" Kirby stared at his old friend in surprise and disbelief. Without warning Kirby charged Metaknight and threw a kick directly at his mask. The kick connected and Metaknight was sent flying backwards, skidding to a halt a few feet away. Everyone stared in shock at the random violence committed by the innocent puffball.
Link stepped forward and put his hand on top of Kirby's head while Marth and Roy checked to see if Metaknight was okay. Link could feel Kirby's anger radiating off of him in steady and powerful bursts.
"Metaknight is okay," Roy started, staring at Kirby in shock. "but he's unconscious. It looks like he may have a concussion and his sword arm may be broken in a few places." Link looked down at Kirby, who seemed to be calming down.
"Ehhh.... hum.... Link... what happened to Metaknight?" Kirby looked up at Link, who was looking at him as if he were speaking a foreign language.
"Well, you freaked out and attacked him." Kirby stared awestruck at Marth, hope that he was lying played in Kirby's eyes.
"Metaknight isn't the one you should be worrying about." Link and the group turned around to see Seria standing with a smirk on her face and a glowing gem in her hand. "I have a message for Link." Link, Marth and Roy charged Seria and swung their swords down on her. Just before the three swords hit their target, she vanished and they met the ground.
"Zelda wants you to know that she is safe in our jailhouse." Link froze in shock when he heard Seria's voice coming from behind him. "She asked me to deliver something to you, so I'm keeping my promise." Link felt something pierce right between his shoulders, then everything went silent and dark.

(Previously: Kirby attacked Metaknight unprovoked, Link learned of Zelda's capture and was attacked by the mysterious assassin, Seria. Let's find out how Peach and the other prisoners are doing.)
"Finally, that darned paralysis has worn off, we can get going again." Wario glared at ZSS as he spoke, to which she smiled meekly and rubbed the back of her neck. Fox had wandered off to find his blaster and Ike was sitting Indian style in a meditative stance.
Peach was standing next to the western wall, looking at the picture of her and Mario once more. Wario looked over in her direction, got up and walked over.
"You know, Mario was a good man. As much as I hate to admit it, he was my only friend. Our mother used to tell us that we would never get along." For the first time, Peach saw tears come to Wario's eyes when it didn't involve money or riches. "He literally was my better half, I never thought that I would lose my twin brother so easily."
"READY YOURSELVES!!!" Wario and Peach jumped as Fox rounded the south-western turn at full speed, with a a few dozen armed swordsmen on his tail. He shot a few blasts from his gun, taking out one of his followers, then turned around and shot at the ground next to Ike to bring him back to Earth.
"... That son of a..." Ike stood up, unsheathed his sword, spun around, and caught two of the swordsmen on his blade, beheading one and knocking the other on his back. ZSS turned her gun into a laser sword and began putting it to good use, stunning three guards. Wario shoulder rushed the last group of guards, sending them flying into the walls like stricken bowling pins.
All the guards, except for the one that was beheaded, were groaning and trying to find their feet. Peach and ZSS kept their distance as Fox, Wario and Ike, questioned the living guards or finished off the non-responsive ones.
"WAIT!!" One of the guards that Ike was about to kill yelled. "I heard that Gredlor was bringing a princess here from Hyrule. That's all I know." Ike smiled at him, then ran him through regardless.
"So they are bringing in Zelda. What the hell do they want with her?" Wario rubbed his chin while he spoke.
"Let me enlighten you on the reason for why my boss wants this done." Standing not to far from the small group, was a 6'1" man, looking to be in his twenties, a medium-heavy build, wearing a blue t-shirt, black jeans and black-steel spiked knuckles. "But first, I will test your worthiness."
