(Last time on The Rift: Link, Marth and Roy stumbled upon Luigi and the mysterious assassin Seria. Mario and Bowser have been killed and Peach was kidnapped by a mysterious force.)
"LET ME GO!!!" Peach screamed at the top of her lungs at the heavily built thing that was carrying her. The thing was very human like, had green skin, blue hair, wore all brown and carried a massive battle axe on its back. It had a human head, blood red eyes, and a mouth full of sharp, shark-like teeth. The beast was heading east using great leaps and the wind was whipping Peach's hair around.
"Quiet princess, my leader wants you in one peice, but I will tear you to shreds if I have to." The beast's voice was rough, but soothing at the same time. He was extremely muscular, but was very gentle and made a point of carrying Peach as comfortably as he could.
"Since it doesn't seem like I'm getting out of this, who are you and why did you kill Mario and Bowser?" The creature stopped for a moment to catch his breath and stared at the rather annoying package he was assigned to deliver.
"My name is Gredlor, I come from a world known as Izlir. Me and a few of my comrads have been living in this world in secrecy for a little over five years. We killed Mario, Bowser, the king of Hyrule, Falco and Ganondorf because they were getting in the way." Peach stared at him in awe, not at the amount of killings, but at the fact that they lived in secrecy for so long.
"What exactly is your leader planning to do with me?" Peach could read the impatience on his face after she asked. He sighed heavily then began to head east again.
"I have no clue, but he has ordered us to gather all the princesses by any means necessary, however he wants them alive and in one peice." Gredlor finished his sentence with a grunt as he relocated Peach so that she wouldn't fall. "I just hope that he goes easy on you and the others, my leader isn't exactly a nice man."
"You don't seem like the usual henchman to me, Gredlor. Why are you doing such deplorable things?" Gredlor thought about Peaches question for a while, but didn't stop to answer. Ahead in the distance Peach could see the sillouhette of a large structure. The building wasn't a caslte, but it wasn't a mansion or a house, rather it resembled a large warehouse or some sort of penatentiary. Gredlor stopped when the building and details were easily visible.
"That is the Izlir jailhouse, the hideaway of our leader. Captain Grondorvan."
