"Argh..." Link rolled out of the way as Seria lunged at him. Roy swung his sword upward at Seria's face as she landed. Seria leaned backwards, dodging the sword and landing on her @$$. Marth ran at Seria and swung his sword downward, which she blocked with the flat of her dagger.
"You'll have to do better than that." Seria pushed Marth's sword away and kicked him in the chest, sending him flying backwards a few feet. Link Pulled his bow and materialized a fire arrow in his hand, he shot the arrow at Seria. Just before the flaming arrow hit, it discintegrated.
"If you want to kill her, you'll have to get through me first." Link, Marth and Roy looked over at the person who spoke and saw Luigi with his arm extended and an evil grin printed on his face. Luigi turned towards Link and sneered before throwing a bright green fireball at him.
"You traiterous coward!" Link cut the fireball in half and charged at the ex-hero. Seria went to chase after Link, but Marth and Roy jumped in her way. Link swung his sword down on Luigi and was rewarded with a fresh bout of blood as it sliced through his right shoulder and stopped just above his stomach.
"She was right... with the right bait..." Luigi stopped talking for a moment and coughed up a large amount of blood. "... your enemies will kill... themselves." Luigi coughed up one last puddle of blood before going limp and sliding off of Link's sword.
Seria burst into maniacle laughter before vanishing in a cloud of smoke. Link sunk to his knees, the blood of his ally staining the blade of the legendary Master Sword. Marth and Roy walked over and saw the bloody mess that once was Luigi.
"I can't believe she tricked me into killing him." A tear of anger and sorrow slid down Link's cheek as he slowly climbed to his feet. "Our hope of finding help in the Mushroom Kingdom has been destroyed before our eyes. I will give Luigi a proper burial, then we will head for Dream Land. Kirby is our only hope of beating these b@stards."
Not to far from where the three swordsmen were standing, a strange shadow was looking upon them from the woods. After hearing their destination, it melded into the darkness of the trees.
