CHAPTER 13: AN ALLY REGAINED

“Well, Pikachu,” Pit began. “It looks like you and I are fighting each other,”
”So it would seem,” Pikachu said.
Pit held his bow in front of him and shot an arrow at Pikachu, who dodged the attack.
Pit deployed his wings and took to the skies, and continued to shoot arrows at Pikachu. The electric mouse managed to dodge them.
“Not bad, Pit. Try avoiding this! Pika...CHUUUUU!!!” Pikachu shot a jolt of electricity at Pit, who made contact with the electricity.
“AAAAGH!” Pit screamed, and fell to the ground.
“Heheh... child’s play,” Pikachu said.
Pit got up, without a scratch. He deployed his wings again and flew for Pikachu, who dodged. Pit leapt into the air and landed behind Pikachu, and kicked him to the ground. He broke his bow in two, so now it became two swords.
FSEW! FSEW! FSEW!
That was the sound Pikachu made while using Quick Attack. He slammed into Pit, and the angelic fighter slid across the floor.
“Come on, Pikachu...” Dedede said. “Bring Pit back.”
Pit shot a barrage of arrows at his former friend, all of which made contact with Pikachu.
“CHUUU!!!!”
Pikachu fell to the ground, bruised.
“Heheh. Looks like I win,” Pit said.
Pikachu was not going to let the enemy win, and got up.
“Hm? Still want to fight?” Pit asked.
“No matter how bruised I may be, you will not win,” Pikachu said.
“You have no chance to win,” Pit said. “Should you defeat me, my master will take care of you, and all of your little friends!”
“I doubt that sincerely!” Pikachu said, and shot another thunderbolt at Pit, who dodged it.
“Look at you, you can’t even hit me. You’re too weak. All this fighting has caused you to lose all your energy!”
“Pi...ka...”
“Do not try to get up, this fight is already over. You have no chance of victory. The war is ours, and my master shall rule the world.”
“Pika... CHUUU!”
Pikachu shot another bolt of lightning at Pit, who defended himself against the attack by spinning his bow.
“This is wasting my time. Why can’t you just quit now? You have no chance to winning. Should you not die here, you will most likely die once my master takes over Planet Nintendo. Stop trying.”
“Pika... CHUUU!!”
Pikachu shot yet another thunderbolt at Pit, who dodged this one as well.
“You really don’t get it, do you? This war is over, and you ha—”
“CHUUU!!!”
Pikachu shot another thunderbolt at Pit, this one hitting him.
“AAAGH!!”
Pikachu held the attack for as long as he could. He put everything into this attack. If it didn’t take Pit down....
“GAAAAGH!”
Pikachu couldn’t take it any longer and stopped. Pikachu, along with Pit, collapsed.
“Uh.... uh....” The announcer said. “It looks like this match comes to a draw! However, that does not mean the whole tournament does! We still have one match left, against Neo Metal Sonic!”
“Neo Metal Sonic?” Mario asked.
Pit awoke and followed Pikachu to the stands.
"Thanks for saving me, Pikachu."
“And the fighter who shall combat him is... Mario!”
“Good luck, Mario,” Snake said.
Mario was teleported from the stands to the arena. He really didn’t know what to do.
“Huh? Where is he?”
“Hmhmhmhmhmhm,” someone laughed.
Mario looked up, and one the edge of the glass wall, was Neo Metal Sonic.
“All living things kneel before your master!” he said, and jumped off onto the arena, and looked at Mario.
“So, Mario,” he began. “It looks like it’s you and me now.”
