CHAPTER 4: RIDLEY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sky had become filled with dark clouds by the time they had arrived at the Hyrule Temple. It looked like it was about to rain.
“We may as well head inside,” Fox said. And they did.
The temple, despite being very old, was in incredibly good shape. With some cleaning, the place could look like it was just made.
“Mama-mia!” Mario said. “How-a old is this-a place?”
“A couple hundred years old,” Zelda replied. “Although, as you can see, it’s in really good shape.”
“Pika!” Pikachu replied, which translated to ‘yeah’.
“Anyway,” Zelda said. “It is really dark outside, and I’m pretty sure it’s night time. I say we get some rest. It’s been a long day”.
“I’m up for that!” Ness said.
“The bedrooms are upstairs. Come, I will show you where they are.”

“Ah. So now they’re at the Hyrule Temple, hm?” The master said. “This is just all too easy!”
“Well since you can see where they’re going because of those monitors, yes, it will be pretty easy,” Cyrus said. Cyrus was the leader of Team Galactic, though the group had disbanded after they failed to capture Dialga and Palkia.
“Your snide remarks are not needed, Cyrus,” replied the Master.
“So what are we going to do now?” Black Shadow asked.
“Oh, that’s EASY. Ridley, come out!”
Fwoom... Fwoom... Fwoom...
That was the sound of wings flapping coming from the leader of the Space Pirates.
Ridley was a giant purple dragon, yet, if you looked at him, you would think he’s anorexic; Ridley had skinny arms and legs, as well as a skinny neck with a giant Adams Apple.
His head was in the shape of that of a pterodactyl’s, and he had sharp fangs and piercing yellow eyes.
“Ridley, I have a mission for you.”
“SRAAA!”
THUD!! Ridley made a rather loud landing.
“Ridley, go to the Hyrule Temple. When you get there, kill all those who are inside. Do you understand?”
”SRAAA!”
“Good. Now GO!”
Ridley turned around and flew away.

Sonic was reading a book which told the story of the Sacred Sage, Miyamoto. However, the story was difficult to read because the book itself was probably older than the temple.
There was, however, one line which was incredibly easy to read:
When the time is right, the secret power will be activated.
That caught Sonic’s attention. “So this ‘Miyamoto’ guy can grant a secret power? Awesome! I gotta get my hands on that!”
Sonic closed the book and went to get some fresh air. When he opened the door, however, he didn’t see air. He saw a giant, purple dragon.
Sonic slammed the door and went to tell the others, but before he could reach the stairs, Ridley destroyed one of the walls and flew inside the temple, and grabbed Sonic.
“WAAH! What the fork is this thing?!”
Tsreeeee... BOAM!
Samus had charged and fired an Energy Shot at Ridley, who dodged the blast and flew back outside through another wall (which he also destroyed).
Samus gave chase to her arch-nemesis and would not let him get away. She continued to fire energy shots. After a while, Ridley turned around and hit Samus with his tail.
“Just what is going on out there?” Peach asked. They all watched the fight going on outside.
“I don’t know,” Falco said.
“Let’s just go back to our normal business,” Lucario said. “Let them handle it.”
BAM! Ridley slammed Sonic into a wall. He went to bit the blue hedgehog’s head off, but before he could take a bite...
TSING!
Ridley’s hand had grown numb and started to bleed. He dropped Sonic onto the rocky ground. A blue ball wearing a purple cape, a silver mask, two shoulder pads and purple feet, carrying a golden sword had attacked Ridley.
“Whew.... thanks, Meta Knight,” Sonic said.
“SRAAA!”
“Shut up already!” Samus said, and launched another Energy Shot at Ridley’s head, and lingered sideways a bit.
Sonic noticed that Ridley was in front of a wall.
“Samus! Shoot the strongest energy shot you can make at the wall!”
Samus didn’t hesitate, and charged up an Energy Shot for about 5 seconds, then fired it at the wall. A crack shot right up the middle, and the entire wall shattered, and came down on Ridley.
“SRAAA—”
The dragon’s scream was cut short by the giant rocks from the wall falling on top of him. In about 10 seconds, the entire wall had buried Ridley, and the monster had been killed and crushed, never to breathe again.
