CHAPTER 2: Versus Ganondorf and Black Shadow

“I’ll take care of them!” Meta Knight said. “But I cannot do it alone. I will need some assistance. Hm.....” Meta Knight looked among the Smashers and came to a decision. “I select Pit.”
“Alright!” Pit exclaimed.
Pit and Meta Knight headed towards Ganondorf and Black Shadow.
“Heh,” Ganondorf said. “Look at them. They aren’t seriously going to try and defeat us, are they?”
FWOOOSH!
Meta Knight and Pit swooped over the hill, high into the air, and landed in front of the two villains.
“TRY to defeat you?” Pit asked. “We KNOW we can defeat you!”
“Hahaha!” Black Shadow laughed. “You’re joking right? You can’t possibly defeat us. You’re just a kid, and you’re only, what, a foot and a half?!” The foot and a half was directed at Meta Knight as an insult.
“Your insults don’t phase me,” the mask wearing puffball replied, and pulled out his golden sword, Galaxia. “And now we fight.”
“The fight is on!” Pit said, and broke his bow into two swords.
“Heh,” Ganondorf said, and grinned. “You are going to regret this,” and pulled out his sword as well. Black Shadow did not have a weapon but was highly skilled in hand-to-weapon combat.
FWOOOSH!
Meta Knight took off towards Ganondorf like a bullet and slashed at his leg, only for the attack to be blocked by his opponent’s sword. Ganondorf lifted his sword upwards, and smacked Meta Knight aside.
Ding... ding... ding... FIP!
Pit launched an arrow right at Black Shadow who dodged easily. The leotard wearing fighter jumped up into the air and kicked downwards, picked up speed, and slammed right in front of Pit, who flew backwards.
KSING! TSING! KSHING!
Meta Knight’s and Ganondorf’s swords continued to clash together and they proved to be even adversaries.
“You fight well, Meta Knight.”
“I could say the same thing about you.”
“However... all fights must end sometime...”
Ganondorf grabbed the hilt of his sword in both hands, lifted it up with the blade pointing below, and slammed his sword into the ground, sending a shock wave which knocked Pit, Meta Knight, and Black Shadow off their feet.
“Hey! Watch your attack! Who do you think the enemy is here?!” Black Shadow roared.
“Pah.”
A steel support bar from the castle fell from the sky and landed beside Black Shadow, who picked it up.
When Pit got up to attack, his sword came into contact with the steel bar.
“Heheh,” Black Shadow chuckled.
In one swift move, Black Shadow impaled Pit in the chest with the bar. The angelic warrior fell down, holding his chest.
“Ugh...” Pit groaned.
Meta Knight looked over and noticed Pit, who looked at him.
“Catch...”
Pit tossed Meta Knight one of his swords and caught it. Just seconds after he caught the weapon, Black Shadow and Ganondorf attacked, but both of their weapons were blocked from Meta Knight’s two swords. There was a lot of effort being given off from Ganondorf and Black Shadow, who were trying their hardest to crush Meta Knight, literally. When he couldn’t take it anymore, Meta Knight deployed his wings and flew upwards, which resulted in Ganondorf and Black Shadow slamming into each other.
Meta Knight landed beside Pit, and Ganondorf and Black Shadow were not happy.
“He’s a tricky little bugger, isn’t he?” Ganondorf said to Black Shadow.
“Alright, you win this round,” Black Shadow said. “But we will return. And when we do, you will be deeply sorry.”
The two headed back to the Colfux point, and disappeared. When they returned to the dark room.
“So... how did it go?” Their master asked.
“It went fine. Perfectly fine,” Ganondorf replied.
“Oh really, now? Then how do you explain this?”
He turned to a TV monitor and pressed play on his remote, which showed Ganondorf and Black Shadow ramming into each other.
“I do not want to see this happen again.”
“Yes, master. We can guarantee you that we will not let the mistake occur a second time,” Black Shadow replied.
“Did you manage to destroy the castle?”
“Yes, but the Smashers survived.
“Hmm...” said their master. “This proves to be a dilemma. However, this makes it all the more easier. With no hiding place for them, we will be able to hunt them down and kill them a lot easier. Hahahaha... Ahahahaha... AAAAHAHAHAHA!!!”
