Chapter 6: Trouble In Hyrule
Mario flew in The Star Cruiser 3000 on a trip to Hyrule. Somewhere there nearby should be Professor E. Gadd.
Luigi: (sigh) Are we there yet?
Mario: No.
Luigi: How bout now?
Mario (annoyed): NO!
Luigi: How bout no…
Mario: Peach will you do the honors?
Peach: My pleasure!
Peach smacked Luigi in the head with her frying pan to shut Luigi up. Luigi yelled in pain. Luigi officially shut up after that. The ship was filled with an awkward silence. Nobody spoke a word for what seemed like hours. Mario finally spoke.
Mario: I wonder if that mist is causing any trouble to the inhabitants on any of the other planets.
Peach feared the worse but she tried to stay cheery and positive.
Peach: I’m sure it’s not too bad on the other planets.
Mario: Yeah….. I hope so…
The ship once again was full of silence. Mario continued to navigate the ship while Peach just looked out the window at space. Luigi on the other hand was fast asleep. Yoshi was just sitting in his chair deep in thought. No matter how hard he tried he could not erase those horrifying images of what he witnessed back on Yoshi’s Island. He just couldn’t believe that something evil caused this trouble. The silence continued as the ship continued flying towards Hyrule. Meanwhile down In Hyrule, the Princess was once again taken by Ganondorf. Link was locked sword fight with Ganondorf.

Ganon charged in to slice Link with his sword but Link side-stepped his attack and quickly rolled behind Ganon to get a few quick sword strikes in. Ganon soon blocked to prevent more strikes. Ganon countered Link’s attack and then sliced Link with a powerful attack of his own. Zelda who was stuck outside the barrier could only cheer Link on. The battle raged on as Link kept dodging and striking Ganondorf. But Ganondorf continued to come back with some powerful attack of his own. Ganon then charged Link and Link did the same. They then clashed swords as the tried to push to get an advantage. Link was too powerful for Ganondorf as he was now caught off guard. Link got in a few more strikes before Ganondorf finally fell to the ground.
Zelda: DO IT LINK! FINISH HIM OFF!!!!!
Link then jumped into the air with the Master Sword in hand. He came down and delivered the sword right into Ganondorf’s chest. Ganodorf was beat. Link drew his Master Sword from Ganon’s chest knowing that the battle was over. The barrier disappeared. Link and Zelda began to walk away when thing took a turn for the worse. The Black Mist appeared and was inhaled by a dying Ganondorf. He was now among those that have been possessed.

Ganondorf: GUH UH AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGRRRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Link and Zelda quickly turn around to see the evil Ganon reborn. Link drew the Master Sword. Ganon started laughing evilly as his body began to change. His body became darker. His muscle started to bulge out as released a dark black aura. He became became huge and bulky. His muscle continued to expand.
Super Ganon: MUAH HA HA AH HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Link: What’s Going On?!
Zelda: That mist….It turned him evil!
Ganon’s transformation was now complete he was ready to kill.
Super Ganon: HA HA HA!!!!!! TIME TO DDDDDIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
He charged in with a huge punch. It made small shock waves as it hit the ground. Link barely managed to get out of the way.
Link: ZELDA! GET OUT OF HERE!! HURRY!!!!
Zelda: Right!
Zelda ran for safety. Ganon delivered a Super Wizard’s Kick to Link as he was distracted by Zelda. Link screamed in pain.
Link: AHGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Super Ganon: AH HA HA HA HA!!!!!!
Link stood bravely with sword in hand to face his toughest challenge yet.

Meanwhile in a small palace within the clouds, Pit receives notice to talk to the Goddess Palutena. He was also told it was an emergency so don’t dawdle. Pit rushed into a large room where Palutena was at.
Pit: (as Pit bows down to Palutena) My goddess, you summoned me?
Palutena: Yes Pit, I have. Some serious trouble has been stirring up around the Nintendo Universe lately. Some sort of dark evil mist has been seen traveling throughout the entire universe. An ancient prophecy once told of an evil being with the power to control darkness would summon an evil mist. According to the prophecy it says that all who inhale this mist will be turned completely evil and under the control of the one who created it. This mist is turning everyone into mindless slaves! Pit, I want you to stop this mist from creating any more damage.
Pit: How can I do that my goddess?
Paluntena hands Pit a small jug. She looks at Pit’s confused face and then speaks.
Pit: What is this?
Paluntena: This Pit is the Sacred Holy Water. Below this palace is an air vent that circulates air through the seven air currents throughout the universe. (Door appears) This door will take you through a pathway leading to that air vent. You must drain the Holy Water in the vent to circulate the Black Mist’s cure. However due to the dark evil activity that has taken place recently, that pathway is now filled with dark evil demons. This is very dangerous! You must hurry though if people stay possessed for too long the effects of the Black Mist will become PERMENENT! Hurry Pit! Be Careful!
Pit: I will not fail you my goddess!!!
Pit entered the door leading to the air vent as he took a deep breath.
