The story is about a maniacal monster who threatens the Nintendo Universe by turning the inhabitants into mindless slaves thanks to the Black Mist. One by one inhabitants of the Nintendo Universe are possesed and are turned completely evil. Only the sole survivors know as The Resistance have the power to stop this evil. With the inhabitants of the Nintendo Universe turning evil will The Resistance have the power to stop this new evil? Or Is the entire Nintendo Universe doomed at the hands of evil?
