Last time on NITNU, Kirby was confronted by an entire army of King Dedede’s Waddle Dees. Despite Kirby’s best efforts to fight back he was overpowered and taken away by them. He was taken away to a small arena where he once again meets up with Dedede. Dedede proposed a tournament where he would fight his old enemies one after another. King Dedede secretly made his escape from the arena for the Halberd as the fights begun. Kirby’s First opponent was Chef Kawasaki. Kirby easily took him down just as he took down. He was followed by Poppy Bros. then Mr. Frosty then Bonkers. None of them stood a chance. Kirby was ready for the next opponent. Will Kirby have what it takes to win this tournament? Chapter 16: The Fall of Kirby

On a distant planetoid a small figure was seen overlooking the other planets. This figure was a small puppet with a blue hat and a blue cape. It was none other than Geno. He noticed the Black Mist still in effect. He spoke.
Geno: So the Nintendo Universe is in serious danger huh? All because of this new evil and its dreaded Black Mist it created?
Geno closed his eyes and had a flashback to when he was summoned to Star Heaven to meet with his masters known as the Star Spirits. The seven Star Spirits were the ones that watched over the Mushroom Kingdom and granted peoples wishes. Geno reported to the Star Spirits when he was informed of the tragedy of what happened in the Mushroom Kingdom. He was told by Eldstar that a new evil created this evil Black Mist that would turn all who inhaled it completely evil. He was also told that because of the fact that the possessed will never fall, the entire Mushroom Kingdom was destroyed and all the inhabitants were dead.
Geno: I can’t believe something this evil has invaded the Nintendo Universe! I must find Mario! Only he will have the power to help me stop this evil!
Geno used his powers to teleport himself off the planetoid.

Meanwhile Kirby stood ready to face his next opponent. Next up was Bow Boxer. Bow Boxer charged in towards Kirby. Kirby dodged. Bow Boxer turned around and threw its fist at Kirby. It hit him directly in the face as Kirby stood still. Kirby wiped off a little blood coming from his mouth.
Kirby: That one was free!
Bow Boxer slammed his fists to the ground creating stars which Kirby sucked up and fired at Bow Boxer. Bow Boxer charged at Kirby and Kirby dodged. Bow Boxer threw its fist again but Kirby kicked it out of the way. Bow Boxer again slammed his fists to the ground creating more stars. Kirby sucked up a star and fired it at Bow Boxer. Bow Boxer was almost down and out. He ran after Kirby and turned around to throw another punch. Kirby did a round house kick on the fist sending it right back at Bow Boxer. Bow Boxer was KO’ed by its own fist.
Kirby: Stop hitting yourself Bow Boxer!
The Waddle Dee Army came to assist Bow Boxer as the next opponent appeared in front of Kirby. Kirby’s next opponent was Buggzy. Buggzy jumped up in the air and slowly floated back down hoping to land on Kirby. Kirby ran under him and Buggzy dropped to the ground barely missing Kirby. Buggzy charged up and rushed at Kirby but Kirby floated over Buggzy. Buggzy released two smaller bugs that flew at Kirby. Kirby sucked them both up and fired them at Buggzy.
Kirby: You’re really starting to bug me Buggzy!
Buggzy charged at Kirby again but missed. He unleashed two small bugs again and began jumping up and down. Kirby sucked them up and fired them at Buggzy when he hit the ground. Buggzy was beat as the Waddle Dee came in and took him away.
Kirby: Next Victim!
Suplex Judoka approached Kirby next.
Suplex Judoka: Now it is my turn!!!
Kirby (T_T): … And do you actually think you can beat me?
Suplex Judoka: I shall crush you!
Kirby: (sigh) you mean like all the other losers I just crushed?
Suplex Judoka: ARRRRRGGGGGGGGH!!!
Suplex Judoka shot out his hand at Kirby trying to grab him. Kirby swiftly did a back flip to draw back out of range of his hand. Suplex Judoka then charges in after Kirby but Kirby floats over Suplex Judoka’s head. Suplex Judoka shoots out his hand again which Kirby dodges. He then charged up and fired three blue blasts of energy at Kirby. They moved fast. Kirby barely dodged the first and second blast. As for the third blast Kirby sucked up and shot back at Suplex Judoka. Suplex Judoka jumped up and then charged Kirby. Kirby once again floated above him. He shot another blast of energy at Kirby. Kirby sucked it up and shot it back at Suplex Judoka. With Suplex Judoka getting weak, he charged in at full speed. Kirby dodged. He fired three more blast but this time they were more powerful. Kirby sucked in the first blast and proceeded to jump over the second and third blast. Kirby fired the shot at Suplex Judoka and he was out. The Waddle Dees took him away. The next opponent appeared. This one was much stronger then the other ones Kirby had been fighting. His next opponent was Kracko.
Kirby: You too Kracko? Well at least I know you’re not a push-over like the others. This should be fun!
Kracko moved in towards Kirby and dropped a Waddle Dee. Kirby sucked in the Waddle Dee and prepared for his chance to attack. Kracko shot two little lasers that rotated a full 180 around him. Kirby quickly jumped out of the way before he fired the Waddle Dee back at Kracko. Kracko moved back and dropped another Waddle Dee. Kirby sucked it up as Kracko hovered above Kirby. Kracko then attempted to rain down on Kirby but Kirby dodged. Kirby then jumped into the air and shot Kracko with the Waddle Dee. Kracko was weak now. Kracko quickly swooped down towards Kirby and hit him before floating back in the air. Kirby was barely hurt. Kracko dropped a Waddle Dee which Kirby sucked up. Kracko quickly hovered above Kirby and struck him with a series of thunderbolts. Kirby got hurt a little more.
Kirby: AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
Kirby quickly jumped in the air to shot the Waddle Dee at Kracko. Kracko was beat as his clouds disappeared.
Kirby: Ok I need to be more careful. I only have 2 maxim tomatoes and I don’t want to waste them!
Next up was Chameleo Arm. Chameleo Arm starts by rolling after Kirby but Kirby dodges. Chameleo Arm then shoots out his tongue and grabs Kirby and sticks Kirby in his mouth. He is then spat back out. Kirby was starting to get hurt. Chameleo Arm then turned camouflage and shot out three paint balls. Kirby sucked in one. Chameleo Arm moved over toward Kirby as he stretched out his legs to try to hit Kirby from above. Kirby dodged. He dropped to the ground and had the paintball shot back at him. Still in camouflage he rolled towards Kirby and tried to eat Kirby again but Kirby was fast on his feet. Chameleo Arm jumped in the air and shot three more paintball. This time Kirby inhaled two paintballs at once. Chameleo Arm stretched out his claw like leg to try to hit Kirby. Both claws hit Kirby. Kirby was now weak. Chameleo Arm dropped to the ground and was hit by another shot from Kirby. Chameleo Arm Rolled around on the ground and Kirby dodged. Once again Chameleo Arm jumped in the air and shot three paint balls. Once again Kirby managed to suck in two at once. Chameleo arm stretched his legs out. Kirby dodged it as Chameleo Arm fell to the ground. Kirby shot Chameleo Arm and he was beaten. The Waddle Dees took Chameleo Arm away. The Next challengers then made their way to the battle arena.
Kirby reached in his bag of treats and ate a Maxim Tomato. Kirby was fully recovered. In front of Kirby were now Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine. Mr. Bright turned into sun form as he floated in the air. Mr. Shine quickly rolled at Kirby but Kirby dodged. Mr. Shine unleashed a huge ray of light at the ground and moved towards Kirby. Kirby kept his distance. The beam created star after star. Kirby sucked in two and fired them at Mr. Shine. Mr. Shine rolled at Kirby again but Kirby dodged. Mr. Shine now took moon form as Mr. Bright fought. Mr. Bright landed on Kirby causing him damage. Mr. Shine sent stars down at Kirby. Kirby sucked up a falling star and shot it at Mr. Bright. Mr. Bright shot a huge fireball at Kirby. Kirby was hit by it and took more damage. Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine switched places again. Mr. Shine rolled at Kirby but missed again. Mr. Bright unleashed his mighty beam yet again creating more stars. Kirby sucked in another star and shot it at Mr. Shine initially KO’ing him. Mr. Shine stayed in Moon form while Mr. Bright fought. Mr. Bright Shot a fire ball but Kirby dodged it. Mr. Shine Shot down more stars. Kirby sucked up a star and shot it back at Mr. Bright. Both Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine were now defeated. The Waddle Dee took Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine away. Kirby’s next opponent suddenly appeared before him out of nowhere.
His next foe was Wham Bam Rock. His rock hand appeared above Kirby and slammed to the ground. Kirby dodge the rock fist. He slammed his rock hard fist to the ground again with Kirby barely dodging. His hand appeared next to Kirby and pointed at him causing rocks to fall from the sky. Kirby sucked up a rock. As his rock hand slammed down to the ground Kirby shot the rock at the hand causing damage. The hand appeared and slammed to the ground but missed Kirby. The hand appeared next to Kirby, drew back and punched towards Kirby. Kirby was hit by the fist as he was sent flying back. His face was bruised and was bleeding from the mouth. Kirby wiped himself off. The hand hovered above Kirby and dropped his rock fingers over Kirby. Kirby jumped out of the way. Kirby sucked up a rock. The hand appeared above Kirby and slammed down its fist. Kirby dodged and fired the rock at the rock hand. The rock hand moved over towards Kirby and then slammed down his fist a second time. It moved over again and tried it a third time. Every time it had missed Kirby. The hand tried to punch Kirby again but it missed. He pointed at Kirby and dropped more rocks from the sky. Kirby sucked up a rock. Kirby was hit in the head by a falling rock. Kirby was getting hurt. The hand slammed his fist down again as Kirby shot another rock at the hand. The hand appeared above Kirby. The rock hand moved above Kirby as it dropped its rock fingers. Kirby was hit by a falling rock. However he managed to suck up a rock. His hand hovered around as it pulled back together all of his rock fingers. The hand slammed its hand down on Kirby. Kirby was badly hurt but still manage to spit the rock back at the hand. Wham Bam Rock was now weak. The hand pointed at Kirby and dropped more rocks. Kirby sucked up another rock. The hand slammed its fist to the ground. Kirby rolled out of the way and delivered the final blow to Wham Bam Rock. Wham Bam Rock was beat as it disappeared. Kirby took a brief moment to eat the last Maxim Tomato. Kirby was healed. Kirby’s final opponent appeared before him. It was Marx.
Marx: So Kirby you’ve come at last.
Kirby: I’m going to destroy you Marx!!!
Marx: We will see.
Marx was super fast as he warped all over the arena. Kirby could not keep up with his moments. He was thrown back as Marx hit him with several cuter blades at super speeds. He dropped seeds which turned into spiked plants which hit Kirby. Marx was too powerful for Kirby to fight. He drew back and unleashed a barrage of arrows on Kirby. Kirby Screamed in agony.
Kirby: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Marx: Hee ha ha ha ha!!! Time to finish you!!!
He drew back and started to glow. Marx fired a huge white laser at Kirby. Kirby was caught in the beam. It caused a massive explosion. When the smoke cleared Kirby had fallen.
Marx: Well guys want to help me kill Kirby?
Most of the enemies beaten earlier had time to recover by now as they joined Marx. They all stood ready to take down a defenseless Kirby. There stood Poppy Bros, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Chef Kawasaki, Bow Boxer, Buggzy, Suplex Judoka, Mr. Bright, Mr. Shine, Chameleo Arm, and Marx. This surely looked like Kirby’s end.
