Last time on NITNU, a very hungry Kirby was about to snack on his precious Slice of Strawberry Shortcake when a mysterious stranger came up behind Kirby and knocked him out. He then received a note From King Dedede saying to meet him at the top of Mt Dedede if he ever wanted to see his cake again. Kirby flew to the top of Mt Dedede on his warp star and made it inside Dedede’s castle. Kirby soon found Dedede in a small arena inside of a wrestling ring awaiting his arrival. The two clashed only to have Kirby beat Dedede yet again. Kirby retained possession of his cake and went off to eat it. Later King Dedede looked on from atop of his castle only to inhale the Black Mist. With Dedede now among the possessed what does this mean for the future of Popstar? Find out now on NITNU!!!
Chapter 15: The Alliance Of Evil

Within the Zone Of Darkness and ominous figure sat in wait in his throne deep within the darkness. Two glowing red eyes shined through the darkness looking into clouds of black darkness. In the clouds showed King Dedede plotting his revenge against Kirby. The evil then spoke through the darkness.
?: DEDEDE!!!
Dedede looked around for the source of the voice. He noticed his master’s voice and realized it must be in his head.
Dedede: Yes my master? How may I assist you?
?: I want you to bring an end to this wretched land known as Popstar. You must steal the Halberd and use its cannon to cause massive destruction to the land. But Kirby seems powerful you must take him out. Assemble evil minions and bring an end to Kirby. With him gone Popstar shall be totally destroyed!! MWAH HA HA HA!!!!!
Dedede: Yes my master! I will not fail you!
The evil voice Dedede heard disappeared. The new evil sat on his dark throne and began to laugh evilly. Meanwhile on Popstar, Dedede spent hours trying to recruit all the strongest, most powerful enemies he could find. He soon brought them all together next to his castle. There was a small podium on a platform that Dedede stood on as he overlooked all of the evil he recruited. All of Kirby’s old enemies were there. In the front of the crowd stood Poppy Bros, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Chef Kawasaki, Bow Boxer, Buggzy, Suplex Judoka, and Kracko. Behind them stood enemies such as Mr. Bright, Mr. Shine, Chameleo Arm, Wham Bam Rock, and Marx. All of these enemies were surrounded by King Dedede’s massive army of Waddle Dees. Dedede took a deep breath before speaking.
Dedede: Welcome Fellow Villains! I have called you here to bring to you a plot for total destruction of Popstar! All you villains have tried your hand had causing destruction of popstar but who stopped you? Kirby did! He is the common enemy that brings us together. And for this sake I say we must unionize! Together we can form a legion of evil so great not even Kirby will be able to stop us! And with Kirby gone we will be free to destroy Popstar! NOW WHOS WITH ME!!!
They all cheered wildly.
Dedede: Now my fellow villains, here’s my plan.
King Dedede discussed a game plan. Meanwhile Kirby pulled out a sandwich from a bag of treats he had with him. Kirby was relaxing having a snack as he watched the clouds roll by. Suddenly in the distance Kirby saw an entire army of Waddle Dees approaching him all at once. He noticed at that moment there was a Blade Knight passing by him. He sucked up the Blade Knight and swallowed his to take its powers. Kirby now wore a green hat and carried a sword. He held his sword in one hand and his bag of treats In the other. He looked on at the Waddle Dees ready.
Kirby: You want some? Well come get some!!!
The Waddle Dees all charged in at once at Kirby. The Waddle Dees tried to jump on Kirby together to over power Kirby but Kirby was quick. Kirby jumped out of some of the Waddle Dee’s way only to use the sword to slice them in half. Kirby unleashed a fury of slices on the Waddle Dee arm as he chopped many Waddle Dees into two. But with every Waddle Dee he took down more kept coming. Kirby continued to slice in half Waddle Dee after Waddle Dee. Eventually Kirby was overpowered by the overwhelming numbers of the Waddle Dees. Several Waddle Dees restrained him as the rest continued the forward march. With Kirby restrained the Waddle Dees took him away.
Kirby: Guh ah!! LET GO OF ME!!!!
The Waddle Dees did not release Kirby though as they continued to march forward. He was taken inside a small battle arena before finally releasing him. Immediately after being released Kirby noticed King Dedede was there waiting for his arrival.
Dedede: Good job my Waddle Dees! You did well!
The Waddle Dee made their way towards the exit. Kirby noticed that Dedede’s appearance seemed darker then usual. Kirby spoke.
Kirby: You again?! I thought I gave you enough of a butt whooping last time! Haven’t you had enough yet?!
Dedede: Wha ha ha ha!! You won’t defeat me this time. I know I don’t stand a chance against you alone so I got the help from a few “Friends” who want to tear you limb from limb. A lot of your greatest enemies are now apart of my army of destruction! Together we will destroy Popstar just like we will you!!!
Kirby: NEVER! I will take you all down one by one! NO CONTEST!!!
Dedede: No contest eh? Then we shall have a tournement right here right now!
Kirby: A tournement?
Dedede: You and only you will face off against my team of evil one by one. When you defeat an enemy from my team another one will come out to fight you next. This will continue till you die or my team is defeated WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!
Kirby: GRRR!!! So that’s your plan to destroy me huh? Well I’ve beaten all of these enemies once and I will do it again before I beat the tar out of you Lard-o!!!
Dedede: Big talk from such a little man. Oh and I noticed you carrying that bag of treats… in the interest of fairness I will allow you to use it between fights! Good Luck! WHA HA HA HA!!!
Dedede made his way toward the exit of the arena as Kirby’s opponent appeared. It was Chef Kawasaki. Kirby took one look at his opponent and laughed about how easy this will be.
Kirby: Ha you? I’ll try to make this quick!
In the back area of the arena King Dedede secretly made an exit for the Halberd as Kirby and Cook Kawasaki fought. Kawasaki rushed in at Kirby but Kirby jumped out of the way. Kawasaki try to hit Kirby by stretching out his frying at Kirby by Kirby again dodged. Kawasaki reached into his apron to grab a plate he threw at Kirby.
Kirby: You really haven’t changed at all have you Kawasaki?
Kirby sucked up the plate and fired it back out at Kawasaki. Kawasaki was hurt and couldn’t take much more. Kawasaki charged in again but Kirby dodged again. Kawasaki tried hitting him with his stretched out frying pan which again failed to hit Kirby. Kawasaki reached into his apron and this time grabbed three plates which were all thrown quickly at Kirby one by one. Kirby sucked up the three plates and shot them all back at Kawasaki. Kawasaki fell to the ground as he was beaten. The Waddle Dees entered to escort the beaten Kawasaki away as the next challenger entered. The next challenger was one of the Poppy Bros. They began their fight as Poppy Bros hopped back and forth towards Kirby. Kirby slid out of the way as Poppy threw a bomb at him. Kirby sucked up the bomb and shot it back at Poppy. Poppy was hurt but continued to bounce back and forth towards Kirby. Kirby once again stepped out of Poppy’s way. Poppy threw another bomb at Kirby only to have it sucked up and shot back at him. Poppy Bros. fell and was escorted out of the arena by the Waddle Dees.
Kirby: Alright! Who’s Next?
Mr. Frosty was the next foe to walk into the arena. Mr. Frosty charged in towards Kirby before tripping and sliding towards Kirby. Kirby jumped out of Mr. Frosty’s way. Mr. Frosty began to wildly jump up and down. Mr. Frosty shot an ice cube at Kirby but Kirby inhaled it and shot it back at him. Mr. Frosty tried to jump up in the air and land on Kirby but he missed. Mr. Frosty threw another ice cube which was shot back at him by Kirby. Mr. Frosty was just about beaten. He jumped up and down again before quickly throwing another ice cube at Kirby. Kirby sucked in the ice cube and shot it back at Mr. Frosty to put him down. He was taken away by the Waddle Dees as the Next Foe Entered. The next foe was Bonkers. Bonkers rushed in towards Kirby and slammed down his hammer creating a star. Kirby dodged, inhaled the star and shot it back at Bonkers. He drew back and threw a bomb which Kirby sucked up and shot back at him. Bonkers jumped up and down and then charged Kirby. He repetitively slammed his hammer down next to Kirby but Kirby dodged. A star was created which Kirby sucked up and shot at Bonkers. Bonkers was weak now. He drew back and threw three bombs at Kirby. Kirby sucked on up and shot it at Bonkers. Bonkers was KO’ed. The Waddle Dees took Bonkers away.
Kirby: Ha! Is that all you Got? I’m just getting started!!!
