Last time on NITNU Fox flew in to the Battlefield of where Xorah was fighting Mewtwo. David and Wesley were informed by Fox of his sad tale. Meanwhile Xorah and Mewtwo fought to the death but despite the best efforts of Xorah, Mewtwo was too strong for her to handle as she was pummeled into the ground beaten. With Xorah down and out, Mewtwo approached Maria for the kill. Thinking fast Maria used a Max Revive on Xorah. With her revived she came back stronger then before as she continued to fight Mewtwo. However this time Xorah had the advantage. When Mewtwo seemed beat Xorah attacked with aura storm only for Mewtwo to be powered by evil and retaliate. With Xorah now exhausted she was easy pickings for Mewtwo. When all seemed lost Fox arrived in his Arwing to save the day. Jumping out and landing on the ground, he used his reflector to reflect back Mewtwo’s Psybeam. Fox told Maria to escape with him while they had the chance. With Mewtwo still down Fox and Maria escaped in the Arwing and set a course for The Kongo Jungle Planet. What will become of the heroes and the Nintendo Universe? Find out now on NITNU!
Chapter 14: Battle For The Cake
Deep within the planet of Popstar all seem to be peaceful. Within a peaceful meadow Kirby was seen laying and relaxing in the sun. Kirby was about to enjoy one of his favorite snacks, a mouth-watering slice of Strawberry Shortcake. Kirby looked at the slice of cake with a big smile on his face.
Kirby: Strawberry Shortcake! My Favorite!! Time for you to meet the bottomless pit of emptiness known as my stomach cake!
Kirby lifted his fork and knife to begin eating the cake when suddenly someone came up from behind him. This unknown stranger carried a giant hammer. Kirby heard the noise of the unknown stranger from behind and turned to take a look at it. When Kirby turned around the unknown stranger lifted his giant hammer and slammed it on Kirby’s head. This blow completely knocked out Kirby as he fell to the ground. Kirby just laid in the grassy meadow unconscious. The unknown stranger then grabbed Kirby’s Slice of Strawberry Shortcake and ran. About two hours later Kirby arose with a splitting headache. Kirby had now noticed a note lying next to him. Kirby picked up the note and began to look at it. On the front it showed a picture of King Dedede in his dining hall sitting at the table. On the table in front of him was Kirby’s Shortcake. King Dedede looked ready to chow down. Kirby was mad. He then read the note on the back.
Kirby
I have your precious Shortcake! If you want it back meet me in my castle at the top of Mt. Dedede. Show up or I will eat this Shortcake! Wha ha ha ha!!!

Now Kirby was p***ed off.
Kirby: OOOHHH… HELL… NOO! NOONE TAKES MY SHORTCAKE AND GETS AWAY WITH IT! TIME TO OPEN UP A CAN OF WHOOP-A** ON HIM!
Kirby used a special little cell phone to try to call his warp star to pick him up.
Kirby: Ok what was the number again? Oh yeah… 5-4-8-2-7-3-1-6-2-0.
He dials the Number. Immediately his warp star flies to him. Kirby hopped on and flew to Mt. Dedede. It wasn’t long before King Dedede’s castle was in site. Kirby flew his warp star right through one of the windows of Dedede’s castle.
Kirby: Ok I’m in! Now to find Dedede!

Kirby took a look around the castle which was filled with statues of King Dedede. Kirby walked down a long empty hallway until he noticed a trail of candy on the ground. Since Kirby never did get his snack Kirby was hungry. He followed the trail picking up and eating all the bits of candy that were leading him. The trail stopped at a large door. Kirby ate the last piece of candy before entering. The door leads him to what looked like a giant arena. There was a wrestling like ring in the center which was surrounded by an audience full of Waddle Dees. There was a small ramp from the door to get to the ring. As Kirby entered the arena the entire crowd roared with a cry of BOOOOOO!! Kirby saw King Dedede patiently waiting his arrival from inside the ring.
Kirby: KING DEDEDE!!!! GIVE ME BACK MY SHORTCAKE NOW!!!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Dedede: Why don’t you come in here and try to make me?
Kirby: I thought you would never ask!
Kirby ran down the ramp and jumped through the ropes to get into the ring. Kirby and Dedede Stood off.
Kirby: Give me back my shortcake and I WON’T have to beat the stuffing out of you Lard-o!
Dedede: No your shortcake is MINE now! Wha ha ha ha hah ah ha!!!!
Kirby: We’ll see about that!!!
Dedede runs towards Kirby but trips and falls forward towards Kirby. Kirby jumps out of Dedede’s way. Dedede got up on his feet again. Dedede started to inhale as Kirby was pulled into his mouth. Kirby got sucked in Dedede’s mouth. Dedede spat Kirby back out into the ring ropes. Kirby bounced off the ropes and onto the ground. Dedede rushed in towards Kirby and slammed his hammer to the floor hard enough to make a tiny star appear. Kirby inhaled the star and shot it back at Dedede. Dedede jumped high in the air towards Kirby. Kirby barely managed to dodge as Dedede slammed back on the ground with all his weight. Two stars were created by the impact. Kirby inhaled a star and shot it at Dedede. Dedede charged in after Kirby. Dedede tripped and fell as ran right into Kirby. Dedede ran towards Kirby and repetitively slammed his giant hammer to the ground. Kirby dodged and managed to suck up another star created by the impact. Kirby fired the star right a Dedede. Dedede now jumped in the air and began to float around the stage after Kirby. Kirby tried to run but Dedede continued to follow him. Dedede bounced of the ground on top of Kirby in his Puffed up state. He continued to float around bouncing off top of Kirby. Kirby was starting to get hurt. Dedede floated up as high as he could go. He de-puffed and dropped his hammer to the ground full force as he fell.
Crowd: YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!
The impact of the hammer smashing down shook the whole ring. Though the attack missed Kirby, the shaking of the ring caused Kirby to fall on his butt. This created a big star for Kirby to suck up. Kirby sucked up the big star and fired it at Dedede to knock his lights out. King Dedede fell to the ground.
Crowd: BBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Kirby (yells at crowd): HEY STFU!!!!!
Dedede: What?!....How……how could I be beaten….
Kirby (grabs Dedede’s clothing): Yeah and unless you want some more you had better tell me were you hid my shortcake… NOW!!!!!
Dedede: Fine……It’s……under the ring…..
Kirby stepped through the ring ropes to get out of the ring. He lifted the ring apron to look under the ring. He saw something under it. Kirby crawled under the ring to look around for his shortcake. Minutes later he crawled out from under the ring with his shortcake in hand.
Kirby: YES I GOT MY CAKE BACK!!! Time to get out of here!
Kirby left the arena and called his warp star on his cell phone. It soon arrived to take Kirby away from King Dedede’s Castle. He flew back to the Grassy Meadows again to finally enjoy his Snack Time. He found himself a nice spot and prepared to eat. He lifted his knife and fork and started to chow down. Moments later it was gone.
Kirby (crying): (sniff) That cake was SOOOO GOOD!!!!
Meanwhile back at Dedede’s Castle a beaten down Dedede stood on the roof of his Castle staring off into space. Suddenly the Black Mist passed by only to be inhaled by Dedede. His aura turned dark like his body. His eyes turn red as he flooded with Dark aura. Dedede was now possessed. He looked into the sky with anger and screamed the name of his nemesis.
Dedede: KIRBY!!!!
