chapter 13:what a world
Falco and the others braced for impact as thier copter head
ed straight for earth.With a stisfying CRUNCH the vehicle compact
ed,leaving Falco and the toads with little time to escape.Falco bar
reled out of the stolen copter,with all three toads clinging to his
back.
"Where are we?"asked Falco.a little dazed from the impact.
"Right were we wanted to be"said Toad,brushing himself off"At
Heaven's gate,the dragonstar base."

Anubis Blacktide stood in front of his computer screen,his
silver hair standing on end with rage"THOSE IDIOTS!!"screached
Blacktide"If you want anything done right you've got to it yourself
!Hounds!Come to me!"
For a moment there was silence,the cool air of Anubis'
battleship, the jackal, moving to and fro in time with the rythym
of the ocean.
Then there was a surge of activity.two figures wereing iden
tical clothing,save thier dog masks,which one was blue,and the ot
her was black,surged forward.
The two figures came to a quick halt when they reached Anu
bis,thier master.
"Blue Hound."said Anubis in an authoritative tone"You will
tail our friends on the stolen S.B.I copter.meanwhile,Black hound,
you are to help me guard something of value to level 7.I understa
nd that they had to go through a lot of trouble to get this."
As soon as Blacktide finished talking,Blue Hound zoomed
out of the room,leaving only Black Hound and Anubis.

Falco sat at the Dragonstar meeting table,awaiting Lady Tetr
a,the leader of dragonstar,'s judgement on whether Falco and
his group could join thier ranks.
Tetra thought on the subject a moment,then opened her mou
th to speak."All of you are untested in our ranks.you'll need to
assisst us on a mission before I decide anything.You may stay
here until we find a suitable mission for you.meeting adjourned."
Everyone quietly exited the meeting room,leaving dead silenc
e in thier wake.
