This is my fanfic called...
"SUPER SMASH BROS. and the Masters of Darkness"
Once upon a time, there was a world empty and unknown to any being in the universe. In a great war between good and evil, a beautiful deity, Palutena, saw that the mortals of her world were in danger of the forces of a monstrous deity, Medusa. To protect the mortals, she finds the empty world and hides them there until the war would be over.
Unfortunately, Medusa placed a spell upon the land. This spell turned all into lifeless, unbreakable stone statues. Seeing this, Palutena, along with her loyal servant Pit, found and subdued the beast...
Despite Medusa's defeat, her spell was so strong that even Palutena's light magic wasn't enough to undo the spell completely. However, her magic did at least revive the mortals. Palutena told the mortals of their resulting curse.
Palutena: "The curse that Medusa has put on you is not gone, but is not as much of a threat as it would've been without my magic. If you shall see defeat by evil, you will be turned back into stone statues. If the love of a person's touch shall touch you, you will be given another chance to live. If you are to leave this world, this curse will no longer effect you."
Hearing this, most mortals returned to the world they came from (Kid Icarus world). Some, however, stayed behind because they saw this curse as a variation of immortality.
Palutena took a piece of the island and ascended it up into the sky, high enough to view the vast plains it overlooks. As this was happening, a professor appeared along with his many robots. After discovering the peaceful island, the professor asked Palutena if he could live here, away from all the dangers of his world. Palutena smiled and told the professor that anyone is welcome and asked if he would like to watch over the world. He agreed.
As years went by, more and more beings have discovered this world. The world pratically became a checkpoint between all dimensions. Some have even made temporary residences there, such as castles, caves in mountains, even a stadium.
The beings discussed their adventures in their worlds to other beings. What started to be friendly conversations soon became arguments over who was better than the other. To prevent this from turning for the worst, a well-rounded human, Mario, and a pink puffball, Kirby proposed a contest. The winner of this contest will be fairly named the best of the best.
As they competed in this contest, an evil hand, Master Hand, awaited the winner of the contest to fight a worthy opponent. He even started to meddle with the competitors' contest by throwing in extra challenges. Seeing Master Hand as a threat, the competitors joined forces and defeated him. The characters then agreed to never again compete to see who was the best, but play it as a sport for fun.
Years went by...The characters once again returned to the world, which they now call the Smash Bros. world. Mario and Kirby kicked off the tournament, but soon learn that the other competitors were absent and the world in peril. The evil threat was thought to be the work of Master Hand, but even the master has a master. A being known as Tabuu, was sent by Medusa to finish the work she had started years ago. With the combined might of everyone, Tabuu was ultimately defeated and world was once again at peace...
...Until now!
In the Shadow Realm…
(Ganondorf appears before a shadowy figure)
1: You have some nerve coming back after what you did, Ganon…
(turns and looks at Ganondorf)
Ganondorf: Please, let me explain…
2: After what you did, there’s little need for explanation. You tried to take the world for yourself!
Ganondorf: Tabuu would have done the same!
2: I sent Tabuu to stop you from further jeopardizing our plans.
Ganondorf: Well then that’s your loss, not mine!
1: You were specifically told not to take action yet, and you disobeyed our orders. Furthermore, you even fought alongside our enemies to destroy him…
Ganondorf: They got in my way! I would’ve defeated him myself!
2: Not from what we saw. Tabuu displayed his powers being superior over yours. The only reason why you’re still alive is mainly because of that foolish penguin! (referring to King Dedede reviving the trophies)
(Ganondorf lunges at 2, she nails him with one of her snakes)
1: SILENCE! That’s enough!
…
Your time here with us has ran its course. For your actions against us, we hereby banish you from the Shadom Realm for all of eternity.
Ganondorf: You fools! You would be nothing without me!
1: Insolence! Neither you or the Masters of Darkness would still be in existence without me.
Ganondorf: … … Fine. You’ll regret this…
(Ganondorf makes his leave)
2: Do you really think he’s no longer of any use to us, Nightmare?
Nightmare ( 1): All in due time, Medusa. All in due time.
