Chapter 1: Judgement and Sins
This place, such an interesting, yet odd environment to awake in. Serene in a way, as though he had been here in the distant past. The skies above were dazzling pink in color, and the area was surrounded by goldenrod clouds that seemed to stretch for miles on end. This pathway he stood upon was a light, blue-ish color, appearing as though it had been crafted to look like a giant snake; coiling and swerving along the cloud ocean. These little white "souls", he would call them, were in a single file line on this pathway, moving forward to an invisible destination. All of them were whispering and staring as they passed him, because unlike them, he was still fortunate enough to have his body.
A towering, intimidating figure defined by hard edges and heavy, chitinous plating. His breadth quite impressive, and his coloring a variety unlike most. The spirits seemed to feel the awesome force this creature held, powerful enough to smother even a galaxy under his might. He was the ultimate creation of a scientist by the name of Dr. Gero, a human from the planet Earth. He had been called several names. "The Ultimate Android", "The Perfect Being", "a true monster".
In the end, his true name was always Cell.
Cell had been standing on this pathway for quite some time now, his arms folded and was glaring out into empty space; trying to assess the situation with a inaudible growl deep in his throat. Thousands of spirits passing by the minute, he counted dully in his mind. Cell appeared to be a little lost, conflicted and enraged. How had this happened? He was going to kill him, he was going to kill them all!
Flashback...
The colossal beams had been locked in heated battle, and the boy's grip seemed to be failing him. All of his weakling friends had been attacking Cell, but he easily swept them aside like the vermin they were, but it was beginning to distract him...
"Why can't you people just stay down?! ERRRGGHHHH!!!!"
He had flared his energy back at them, and they were all blown away as if they were trapped in a tornado; their screams filling Cell's senses and made him pursue his goal further. Immediately after, though, he could feel the brat's energy flare up again. His blast begun to push Cell's further back towards the stressed android, but he wouldn't have that. Releasing more energy, he shoved his own further and the beams once again locked in the dead center. Cell was starting to feel the earth beneath them cracking and giving away, and Gohan was already slipping once again. The Z-Warriors did not further rise, and the crafty android knew his victory was approaching rapidly.
The perfected android's voice rang out towards the Saiyan child on the other end of this struggle of Kamehameha. "I can feel you slipping!" Cell taunted.
He heard the punk talking to himself again, and Cell thought Gohan was finally beginning to lose his mind.
"What on Earth are you mumbling about? Chanting a little prayer before you die?"
No responce, and Cell began to chuckle. Harder he pressed on, his Kamehameha once again thrusting Gohan's back towards him. Cell was now putting almost everything he had into his blast, and it was close to overtaking the struggle completely. He began gathering his energy for one final charge to his blast, and he sneared almost maniacally.
With his concluding bellow of victory, the ultimate android screeched, "SAY GOODBYE!" Cackling with glee at his own power about to prevail, but in spite of this, he failed to notice the blast being sent towards his head.
BLAM!
This heavy powered attack caught Cell off guard, and he flinched and staggered a bit upon the impact. He sharply turned his head towards the direction of the attack, and he found a panting Saiyan Prince in the air; his hands still in the blast firing position.
Severely aggrivated, the android screamed, "VEGETA!", out of blind rage. All within the moment, the power from Gohan finally erupted for the last time, and his Kamehameha had won.
End of Flashback...
Cell had unfolded his arms, his fists clenched so tightly that his jet-black talons cut into his skin; making his violet blood drip onto the ground beneath, blemishing the palms of his pure white hands. The spirits still passing by saw this violent, unstable android and quickly darted onward out of fright.
Cell had payed no mind to this, only figuring that it was time to move on. So far he concluded that he was now dead, and this must be the afterlife. His judgement of fate was probably where he was suppose to be heading onto, but he already knew the fate that he was forever doomed to...
The rage began to flood his body again, but this time his eyes fluttered shut, and he took a deep breathe in; releasing the negative energy out his breath. Cell opened his eyes, and entered the line of the souls, walking steadily along the path. The screeching sound his feet made was the only sound audible other than the whispers of the souls in the line. This was the first time where Cell really, truly felt... alone.
The mighty android carried on the path for a lengthy period of time, seemed like days to him. He only followed the way his legs pulled him, blocking out all other surroundings. Cell only realized he had reached his destination was when he discovered the line had slowed and his foot had kicked the spirit ahead of him in the rear.
"Hey, watch where you're going, bud-" the spirit said while turning around, but took notice to the great, frightful figure above him who glared darkly down at him from above. The now-terrified soul turned around and was as quiet as a ghost.
Cell could hear audible bellows of "Next!" and either "Above" or "Below". After several dozen souls in front of him, there was another "next!" cry and it was the android's turn to be judged. He strode into the large building that's sign above it stated, "Check-in Station".
The interior of the room seemed to be decorated like an office, or a hotel lobby. There were plants in the corners of the room, several paintings and what not decorating the walls. There were blue and red demons placed in a few places around the massive room, dressed in a dignified uniform of a simple white dress shirt and a pair of dark trousers. A scarlet colored rug that started from outside lead up to the desk in the middle of the room, however this desk was possibly the biggest of it's kind; cluttered with papers, folders, and pens on top. The man behind was even bigger, a red bearded demon the size of possibly 1,000 men. He wore a business suit, and in his hand was a gavel. He looked down at Cell from behind his desk, raising an eyebrow suspiciously.
"State your name." the gargantuan demon declared.
"I am Cell." the android obeyed, face in a stiffened appearance.
Finding a file that was branded with a captial "C", he began searching through it; mumbling to himself. The normal sized demons were all staring curiously at Cell, whispering amongst one another, but thanks to the android's sharp Namekian hearing, he heard everything they said.
Pulling out a smaller folder from the giant file, King Yemma put on his reading glasses and begun to skim Cell's horrendous record.
"Destroying cities, creating mayhem and terror to innocents, torture, genocide.... The list goes on and on! What kind of monster are you?!" King Yemma roared, his face full of boiling rage.
Cell stood silent, refusing to speak. He stood there with a smug look, as though he was proud of these unforgiveable deeds he committed in his lifetime. Yemma did not like this one bit, so he continued on.
"Don't even feel the least bit shameful now do y-"
"My only shame is that I wasn't able to crush this worthless universe under my reign." Cell retorted snapily.
Yemma was now livid with this rude abomination. However, his rage faltered and he took on a false smile. "Well then, it's time for you're judgement of fate." He paused for a minute, smiling rather convincingly. However, his face immediately turned livid once more and he banged his gavle on the desk. "Now down you go!" Yemma roared.
On the floor beneath him, Cell felt a black hole open up, and it looked as if it lead to eternal darkness. However, seconds later he felt it suck him inside no matter how hard he resisted. The android's attempts were fruitless, and he was dragged into the portal screaming out of rage.
He didn't remember much after that, but was now regaining consiousness and becoming aware of his location... and voices surrounding him.
"Hey hey, he's waking up! He's sure weird looking, ha ha!" A rather nasally and foolish voice said.
"I wonder how powerful this one is, he looks to be like a good mate to spare with, huh?" An austrailian voice said excitedly.
There was a couple of audible smacks heard, and then groans soon following it. A new voice, feminine in a way, spoke out. "Won't you idiots be quiet? It's time to welcome our new friend."
