The sunset casted the sky in brilliant shades of pink, orange, and yellow as the feild of flowers and pewter graves reflected the light on the ground. It had been six months after Solid Snake and Otacon had destroyed JD a artificial intelegence network designed to control nanomachines in humans, allowing full control of what humans could do and how to act on the battlefeild. You couldint even fire a gun if the AI diddnt want you to. ID tagged Guns, ID tagged Wars, ID tagged lives, information control.
This evening was a time to remember and mourn, Snake passed away quietly in the morning last sunday. There was a line of black suits, dresses, and tears, gatherd around a casket. Inside the casket was the legend, dressed up in his suit. His arms were crossed, in one hand was his handgun, and in the other, his headband.
The Pastor slowly stood up from his chair and read a hym from the bible
The short white elder heldup his holy book.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

"Freinds we have gatherd today for the final moments of time with David. Most of you know him as snake." the pastor continued. "From what i have learned about this man was, he was a savior and a hero. A soldier on the battlefeild, and a valuable freind." he spoke with a soft voice. The the birds chirped in the trees behind.
"I would like to have the pleasure of asking Dr. Hal Emmerich to speak about his best freind." Everyone clapped as Hal stood up whiping his tears from his face with a tissue, He waved to all of his freinds as he walked up to the pastor and shook his hand.
''Good evening everyone" Hal said as he grabbed a peice of tissue out of his pocket. "Snake had a hard life....now he needs time to rest. I remember the first time I met snake, it was when Frank yehger was about to end my life." He went on "Right before i thought my time was up, snake had came in to save me.."
Hal had continued his speach for a hour, recolecting the times he had with snake. Then it was time to say the final prayer. Evryone stood up, everyone except for one. a blonde haired man in is mid 20s wearing black shades, and was sleeping. "Akiba!" Meryl said, whenever she was annoyed with her husband. She punched Johnny in the arm to wake him up. "what, oh..uh Meryl." he said, realizing that everyone was up and Meryl was mad. 'I cant beleive you!" Meryl spoke quietly but in a angerd tone. Johnny then shifted his head down and started to murmur the prayer that everyone else had been speaking.
A few minutes passed, and finnaly it was time to bury Snake. Jack, also known as raiden held his shovel as the casket was lowerd into a hole next to his fathers grave, Big Boss. The group all put roses on the casket as Jack had started to shovel soil on the grave.
The Hero was finnaly in his resting place. Forever next to his father. May the father and son meet once more in the holy land of warriors.
As everyone had said there goodbyes ad headed back to there cars. Meryl still stuck behind, tears in her eyes, she would never forget all that snake had done for her. "There you are Meryl!" jhonny said. ''The car is on, are you ready to go back to Mei Lings for the after party?" Johnny asked. "Oh, Yea..ill be right there' Meryl said as she whiped her tears. Johnny walked back as she turned around...but then a small gust of wind blew by her...she looked back once more...to see a figure in the distance.."snake?" she said queitly.
The ghostly image looked back at her and smiled, only to slowly fade away, as Meryl dried her tears and slightly smiled.
"Are you comming Meryl?" Johnny shouted back.
"Yes, wait up for me!" Meryl shoued back, as she ran towards her lover.
