Outside of an abandoned warehouse, Link stood at arms with Kirby and Metaknight. Around them were a swathe of strange creatures that pulled themselves together out of purple balls of energy. Some looked like clouds, others like people, which Link took to calling Primids.
"We're surrounded..." Kirby stated, sounding very scared. "And I can't absorb any of their abilities..."
"We stand and fight to our last breath." Metaknight stated as he brandished his sword in a fresh furvor. "Victory or no, we will fight for the good of our lands!"
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'll have to agree with Metaknight on this." Link states with a weak smile. "But if Mario and the rest don't find a way to stop this now... I don't think even fighting to death will do much good." As he finished speaking he lunged his blade forward and impaled a Primid, which caused it to break into the purple energy again before it slid away from them.
"Need help?" A large explosion erupted from in the middle of a large group of the primids, launching them in all directions or killing them right off. Link looked over in that direction and saw Lucario standing in a new clearing with Lucas at hsi side, both of them looking ready to fight.
"Thanks guys." Link pulled out his bow and arrow and smiled. "Let's do our best." As Link began firing arrows as fast as he could, Metaknight dashed into the sea of Primids, hacking and slashing as he went, while Kirby kept the energy made baddies off of Link.

Lourg looked down on the now taller and more buffed Wario and grinned. "I hope you know how to fight, little man."
"Little man?" Wario glared and growled at his opponent, taking the time to build up some energy. "I'll show you who's little!" Runs at the large beast looking man with his trademark shoulder rush, but stopped dead in his tracks on impact, only moving Lourg backward by an inch.
"That's all?" Lourg laughed rauckously as he picked up Wario by the front of the shirt, spun him and slammed him onto the ground, head first. A sickening thud resounded as Wario went limp on the ground and returned to his original size. "So sorry, treasure hunter, but all you own, now belongs to me." Wario's eyes shot open when Lourg made his statement and he jumped back up to his feet.
"I stole that treasure fair and square!!" Growls louder and seems to start glowing. "You will not lay a hand on MY STUFF!!!" Wario charged at Lourg again, but this time jumped in the air, surprisingly making it high enough to be in his face. He grinned and spun around in midair, his backside inches from Lourg's face, then let loose his trademark atomic fart, sending Lourg backwards out of the ring as he flew forward and slammed into a wall.
"Erm... it's... a tie..." Grondorvan stated before bursting out laughing. "Now THAT is what I call unique."
Pit stepped up to the ring and wordlessly glared at Grondorvan, pointing at him and then brandishing his swords.
"Oh-ho, so you want to challenge me?" Grondorvan asked, mocking surprise. "I'll gladly take you on." Grondorvan shed his sword, leaving it on the platform, then jumped down into the ring.
