Chapter 3-War Begins
Lydia, Maximillion, and I were at the table waiting for updates about the war. We all decided to transport to Earth and see what was going on. Out first view of Earth when we entered there were lots of vehicles crushed and people dead. We all knew that Dartz was winning the war. Except, we did not know where we were. I saw one of our robots and they were aiming at the three of us. I started waving my hands so that they will know that we are from Dartz. The robot stopped. Even if they did attack us we would be safe. Earth did not look the same. The sky was darker than ours possibly from the robot’s exhaust and weapons fired. I saw some people that were running and screaming. The robot turned around and faced the other people and started shooting at them. The people died. None of us felt sorry for them. We were glad that they were killed, because they want to destroy my world. Lydia and Maximillion wanted to go back to Dartz. I let them go and I stayed on Earth. I decided to have a little bit of fun with the people on Earth. I transported myself to a city. I did not know what it was called, but there was no one killed yet. When the people saw me, they took guns and started to shoot me. Their eyes got big when they saw that I did not take any damage. It was funny they did not know that I was albino they were expecting an old lady because I had white hair.
They noticed that I was albino when they came close to me when they saw how young I looked and my red eyes. I said to the people, “Don’t mess with us, or we will get you back.”
The people there looked at me with this weird face expression. I did not know if they got what I said or if they were expecting something different. Next, I transported myself back to Dartz. I told Lydia and Maximillion what happened and they laughed. I said to Maximillion, “You should have been there, because you are also albino and I am sure you would get a good laugh.”
He said, “Yes, I would have.”
I said, “The war seems like it is going good, but it just began. Earth should surrender or else they could lose their whole world. If that happens I want to expand Dartz to Earth.”
Lydia said, “Now, you don’t need to worry the war started and you can’t do anything about it now.”
“Yeah, you are right.’ I said.
Maximillion said, “The way things are going now, you don’t need to be ruler for a while.”
I was happy about that. So, all I might do is just have a vacation and take a break from being the ruler. Also, I did not want to hear the updates about the war for a week. I decided to take a break by just staying at my mansion and maybe traveling through the different dimensions of Dartz. I told Lydia and Maximillion that they could have a week off if they wanted to. They just told me that they would be bored so they wanted to work. On the first day of vacation was different. I felt bored, but Lydia and Maximillion were there and they also had nothing to do. Lydia came up with an idea that we all can go to different places on Dartz. There were lots of people everywhere. It seemed normal as how it used to be when I first discovered Dartz. Even though the people were acting the same like nothing ever happened because of the war. Maybe because they knew that we will win since our technology is better than theirs. I was not going to ask the people about it. The people noticed me I guess they are surprised that I am finally out of my mansion.
Lydia and Maximillion were following me. I was looking around Dartz because I have not seen all of it yet. In Dartz almost everyone has been in all of the dimensions. Maximillion said, “There is a great place to go to that is not far from here.”
I asked, “What place is it?”
“You will see, I think you will like being there.” Maximillion said.
Lydia also did not know what was going on. Maximillion said, “Here is the place.””
It was a small golf course that is advanced in technology. Lydia said, “Golf is fun. I forgot about this place.”
We entered in the golf course. It had grass all over with signs pointing directions. I did not know what the signs mean. There was a sign with an arrow pointing left and there was another sign pointing up in the air. I asked Maximillion, “What does the signs mean?”
He said, “You will see. I will go first and show you what it does.”
Then, he took a drive club and hit the golf ball towards the arrow that is pointing up in the air. When the ball got there it went straight up in the air and it went to a different elevation. It was floating in mid air. Next, the ball turned red. Maximillion said, “When the golf ball turns red it means the other person is up next.”
Lydia told me that I could go next. I aimed the Drive club at the same arrow and shot. The ball went up in the air. That was easy. It was Lydia’s turn and she also got her golf ball in the air. Maximillion’s golf ball turned green showing it was his turn next. He said, “Now this is going to be tricky. You can’t go up in the air, but you use your computer inside your head. You are going to control and speed and direction by using the computer.”
After a few seconds the ball moved across in the air and back on the ground close to the hole. It was my turn next. It was hard controlling it. I did not do so well all that happened was the golf ball went back on the ground. Lydia got her golf ball in the hole. She won that course. Later Lydia won the whole game. I got second place at 4 courses. It is fun to play and hard to control the golf ball. Golf was much different here than Earth. I like Dartz’ version better.
After we were done playing golf I told them how golf was back on Earth. Maximillion asked me about my family. Since I was too busy working I forgot all about my family. Maximillion asked, “Do you think your family is still alive?”
“I don’t know.” I said.
Then, I got this feeling that they might not be alive anymore. I felt a little sad, but it was not a major thing. So, I used my transporting device and went back to ****. Maximillion and Lydia stayed at Dartz. ****looked worse than ever before. There were only a few houses left. The sky looked very dark and there were no vehicles on the road. I walked around **** to where my family lives. The house was still there, but there was no vehicle. I looked at my left shoulder and saw that I still looked the same as I am in Dartz. There would be a possibility that my family would notice that I am the ruler of Dartz. To be safe I waited when it was dark outside so that my family can’t see me. After a few hours I checked my parents' house and they were still alive. I looked through the window. It seemed like they were scared. They did not see me and I was glad. About an hour later my parents went to bed, so I decided to use my transporting device to go inside their house. I walked around the house and went to where my bedroom was supposed to be. There was nothing in there. I went walking more around the house and there was nothing left of my stuff. On the counter there was a note that was all crumpled. I opened it and it was a note for me that said, “Shan, when are you going to come home, we are worried.”
The note seemed like it was written a couple of years ago when I was 14 years old. In the other end of the house I heard a dog barking and the dog was running to me. It was my dog Snoopy that I got when I was 12 years old. He jumped on me and started to lick me. Snoopy knew it was me. He kept on sniffing me. Then, Snoopy ran where to my parents were while barking. I heard footsteps coming from their bedroom. Snoopy came at me again barking. My dad was getting closer and I used my transporting device to go back to Dartz. When I was back at Dartz I told Lydia and Maximillion of what had happened. I did not feel bad for my family at all. I am used to being at Dartz. Maybe my family thinks that I am already dead and because of the war they might think I will end up dead anyway. In my head I was not sure if my family would survive or not.
I said to Maximillion, “I won’t go back to **** ever again. I don’t want to know if my family is dead or not.”
“Sure, whatever you want Sharpay.” Maximillion said.
I felt better after Maximillion said that. In my head I was trying my best not to think of my family. I knew that they are not part of my life anymore, but it makes me worried when someone asks me of how my family is doing. Maximillion knew what I was thinking he was checking with my computer to see what I was thinking. “I think you can erase that memory of yourself.” Maximillion said.
“I would like to do that.” I said.
“I can do it to you right now, if you want to.” He said.
“Yes, please do it now, I don’t want to remember my past just erase every memory I have except when I came to Dartz.” I said.
Maximillion checked my computer and he told me not to worry about anything. In my head I felt my computer changing preferences. It was a weird feeling. My body felt weak and I was starting to feel dizzy. I fell on the floor and after a few minutes I woke up. Maximillion asked, “Where is your family?”
I said, “I don’t know.”
“Don’t worry about it, just forget of what I asked.” Maximillion said.
I thought that was a weird question of what he asked. Now, I hated Earth. Since I did not know that I was from Earth, I did not care about them. Also, I did not feel weak anymore, all I remember is that I became ruler of Dartz and agreed to fight against Earth. Lydia and Maximillion were talking, but I could not hear them. Lydia looked at me and said, “Why did you do that?”
“What do you mean?” I said.
Maximillion then grabbed Lydia and said, “This is what Sharpay wanted, so leave her alone.”
Lydia just stood there and looked at me. Then, she turned around and left. Maximillion said, “She is just having a bad day.”
“Fine.” I said.
Maximillion used my computer in my head and I did not know what he was doing. My head felt different for a minute and soon it was over. I asked him, “Is there something wrong?”
“No, I was just checking if you were fine, and you are doing great.” Maximillion said.
Maximillion left the room, so I was alone. I received an e-mail from my security officers. They told me that I had to go to Earth and have a special meeting about the war. I used my transporting device and went to Earth. Suddenly, someone was behind me and put a blindfold on me. I could not see the person and they took away my transporting device. On my head I felt something hard and it was messing up my computer inside of my head. Since my eyes were closed my computer sensed magnetic waves and that is what is messing up my computer. Then, I heard other voices of people saying that they caught the ruler of Dartz. The voices were all men and one of them said to me, “Don’t say anything and you will live.”
I did not say anything back to them. Now, my computer no longer works. So, I was basically a normal human. In my head I was thinking of how great it would be to have my computer working so I can e-mail for help. Then, another voice said, “Lets take her in the lab and check if she can attack us, just to be safe. Maybe we can find out more about their technology. “
Soon, I felt someone lifting me up and carried me into a place. Then, they put handcuffs on me and took off the blindfold. I was in a jet. There were 5 men watching me to see if I would attack. All I did was just stand there looking at them and did not say anything. One of the men took my arm and wanted me to sit and get ready for the jet to launch. I just looked on the ground and I never looked up. I was afraid to talk, but if they did not threaten me, I defiantly would talk and ask them why they had to do this to me. After a while the jet landed and the same man took my arm and led me outside of the jet. Outside of the jet was a crowd of people looking at me. Then, the man who was leading me said, “We have caught the ruler of Dartz, she is the one who wanted to kill us.”
I looked at the crowd for a little while, but most of the time I was looking in the sky. The crowd was yelling and saying stuff such as to kill me. I tried not to think of what they were saying. Next, the man took me into a building. I saw a lab room up ahead and I stopped walking. He said, “You need to go in here.”
He tried to pull me in the room, but I would not move. I finally said, “I don’t want to be treated like that, at least my world would not do that to people here on Earth. I did not mean to go into war, it was that Earth sent me an e-mail stating that we were going to go in war, and I did not want my people to get killed. This is our first war on Dartz, we actually find it wrong to kill people.”
The man knew I was serious and he said, “The government needs to know more about you. It is not me that is doing this to you, I am forced to do it, if this was not my job I would help you get out of here.”
I didn’t say anything and just looked at him. I asked, “If I go in the lab, will I still be alive when they are done?”
He said, “I don’t know, but I am sure you would have to be alive. Well now you need to go into the lab.”
I followed him into the lab. The lab had lots of equipment in there. There were a couple of scientists in the room. The man unlocked the handcuffs on me, so I was free and I can move around. One of the scientists came up to me and he was looking at me. I looked at the corner of my eye and saw that no one was at the path to the door. It was clear for me to go, but I was not sure if I would die if they use a weapon on me. I did not care, so I turned towards the door and started to run. Everyone in the room was after me now. I was going out the same way as I came in. The footsteps were getting louder, but I did not look back. I reached the door and saw the jet. The door was still open on the jet, so I went in and locked all the doors and windows. I inspected the jet and I was the only person in it. I walked up to see if I knew how to fly it. In my head I was thinking, “If I don’t get out of here, I could possibly die.”
Then, I heard banging on the doors of the jet. I searched for the manual of how to start of the jet. I found the master switch and the accelerator and I already knew how to control the jet. The jet started to move. I moved the accelerator up higher and the jet moved faster. Soon, the jet started to go into the air. Finally, the jet was high enough in the air that I could not see the ground. I turned on the autopilot function and I looked around the jet. Behind the pilot’s seat I found my transporting device. I transported the jet and myself to Dartz. The jet was just next to my mansion. After it was parked I transported myself back into my mansion. Maximillion, Lydia, and other security officers saw me. They all asked me where I was. I told them that I got an e-mail stating that there was a special meeting on Earth. The security officers told me that it was a trap. Then, the security officer noticed that my computer no longer works. I told them, “I don’t want a computer anymore. It just causes danger and also maybe we should shut-down everyone’s computer, just to be safe.”
“It can’t be done right now, but we can try and do that, if that is what you want.” The security officer said.
I went back to the scientists who put the computer in my head and wanted the computer to be removed. It took less than an hour for it to be removed. So, I was back as a normal person. I went to the mall and bought myself a computer. It is the same as Earth, but it is ancient on Dartz. I also still had the same e-mail. When I receive and e-mail from now on I will confirm it with my employees. I was thinking that I wished I never went to Earth. I was also glad that I was able to get out of there. The computer I just got, took me some time to learn how to use, because I was used to Dartz’ technology. I went to the security center and told them that when I get e-mail that I have to let them check it to see if it was a trap. They agreed with me, so I was safe. After that I went back to my mansion and wrote what happened on Earth. I noticed that Maximillion and Lydia were not here.
Maybe they got a day off, but I am sure they would have told me that they would take a day off. I searched around my mansion to find them, but they were not there. After a while I found out that they were at a meeting covering for me, because I was busy. I felt bored without them. There was no one in the mansion. In my head I thought of when I became ruler, everything started to go bad. Can it be because I was from Earth? If so, how did the people know about it from Earth? If I resign would things go back to normal? Several thoughts kept me thinking, and I could not come up with reasonable answers.
I went to my desk and found my papers about being ruler of Dartz. Also, I have a chance to resign, if I did I will still live in Dartz. I sat down next to the desk and started to think that I should resign. I did not know of what to do. Then I finally made a decision that I will be ruler, but I can always back-out, but not with the war going on. Next, I put the papers back. Days went by and the war was still going on. My security officer told me that Earth would have to surrender soon or we will go full force on them.

Then, the security officer noticed that my computer no longer works. I told them, “I don’t want a computer anymore. It just causes danger and also maybe we should shut-down everyone’s computer, just to be safe.”
“It can’t be done right now, but we can try and do that, if that is what you want.” The security officer said.
I went back to the scientists who put the computer in my head and wanted the computer to be removed. It took less than an hour for it to be removed. So, I was back as a normal person. I went to the mall and bought myself a computer. It is the same as Earth, but it is ancient on Dartz. I also still had the same e-mail. When I receive and e-mail from now on I will confirm it with my employees. I was thinking that I wished I never went to Earth. I was also glad that I was able to get out of there. The computer I just got, took me some time to learn how to use, because I was used to Dartz’ technology. I went to the security center and told them that when I get e-mail that I have to let them check it to see if it was a trap. They agreed with me, so I was safe. After that I went back to my mansion and wrote what happened on Earth. I noticed that Maximillion and Lydia were not here.
Maybe they got a day off, but I am sure they would have told me that they would take a day off. I searched around my mansion to find them, but they were not there. After a while I found out that they were at a meeting covering for me, because I was busy. I felt bored without them. There was no one in the mansion. In my head I thought of when I became ruler, everything started to go bad. Can it be because I was from Earth? If so, how did the people know about it from Earth? If I resign would things go back to normal? Several thoughts kept me thinking, and I could not come up with reasonable answers.
I went to my desk and found my papers about being ruler of Dartz. Also, I have a chance to resign, if I did I will still live in Dartz. I sat down next to the desk and started to think that I should resign. I did not know of what to do. Then I finally made a decision that I will be ruler, but I can always back-out, but not with the war going on. Next, I put the papers back. Days went by and the war was still going on. My security officer told me that Earth would have to surrender soon or we will go full force on them.
