Poke' World (Main)

The various regions of the Poke World remain largely unscathed from Crehavos's rule and war. However, the rest of the world's influx of violence and thievery caused some old foes to rear their heads again. Jumping up on the chance, various organizations like Team Rocket, Team Galactic, Team Aqua and Magma started to begin to move forward in their regions.

Many trainers and other people have stepped up to take down these malicious foes, and their activities have been relativity quiet after Crehavos was defeated. Sinnoh, Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn have all enjoyed a deal of peace compared to the rest of the world.

However, the world of Pokemon contains so many untapped resources and mysteries, things could be changed in an instant.

The Hiker bend down and picked up the boulder that he had been chipping away at. Slowly he grunted as he stood back up, his backpack was filled to the brim with survival gear and heavy books. He took out a smaller chisel from his belt and slowly chipped further away at the small rock he was holding.

After a few hits, his tool make a sharp PING!! A small flicker of bright scarlet red glinted at his eyes. Now excited, he quickly chipped off the remaining rock, until he was holding a perfectly rectangular plate. The plate was bright red, and almost seemed hot in his hands. He flipped it around in his hands to see an inscription on the back reading "The Rightful Bearer of a Plate draws from the plate it holds".

He quickly took out a notebook and jotted the phrase down, along with some other notes. He looked again at the plate, and thought about discarding it. "I really don't need this anymore... But it may be useful soon, I'm running out of food" he said in a ruffled voice. He tucked it away into one of his may pockets on his backpack.

"And so another adventure begins."

"What am I going to do?" Fate pondered as he sat at the dining room table in the haunted chateau. Ghastlys, haunters and the odd misdereavus flew through the chateau, many trying to scare Fate. Beyond his child-like appearance, Fate lived in hell and he had died before. Many ghost pokemon flew away disappointed and self-conscious after failing to scare Fate but the things he had seen in hell were far worse than purple smoke with eyes.

Fate!!! Welcome to hell...

Fate stood with a suitcase in hand, terrified at the sight he was seeing. Humans being tortured, ripped in half, killed in many brutal ways, being forced to watch over 10 minutes of spiderman 3, playing nintendo wii with dead batteries as they continued turning the remote on to see it turn off. They also played without a arm strap so many 5 inch t.v's were destroyed. A demon with a large axe turned to Fate and said "We want you to playyyy..."

Fate left the table and exited the chateau. As he also exited the forest, a ghastly followed him outwards. It seemed to take a liking to Fate so Fate allowed the pokemon to follow him. As he entered Eterna City, Ghastly at his side, he noticed his old friend Twilight Steele exiting the nearest pokemon centre. Fate walked up to him slowly tapping him on the shoulder and said "Its about time you showed up, you almost made me think I wasted my time...and do you know where I can find something to like conceal this ghost or something?"

[Twilight Steele, Fate]

Twilight Steele turned around slowly to see Fate, one of his partners on their mission. Twilight Steele's spiky hair whipped in the cool breeze of the night, his overcoat also fluttered up against his bare skin. His expression was a sly and cocky smile that seemed slightly insane. "It's a Ghost isn't it? Shouldn't it be able to turn invisible?" he said in a soft voice.

The Ghastly that had been following Fate around, almost on cue, disappeared from sight, and back again.

"He seems to have taken a liking to you, for the time being. Maybe because it knows you can't harm it, seeing as how it's already a ghost." He replied, walking down towards the eastern part of town.

"Good point" Fate said in a calm voice.

"By the way, I'm expecting our other..." he paused for a moment, trying to find the right word. "associate to be joining us shortly. After that, we should set out to find who we're looking for."

"And that is?" Fate questioned.

"He's a study of philosophy and is currently studying how Sinnoh came to be, which--" Twilight Steele was cut off.

"Is exactly what we're looking for." Fate finished his sentence.

"Now you've got it." Twilight Steele replied, the smirk on his face getting wider. The two of them and the Ghastly reached the Pokemon Statue at the top of town. Twilight Steele thought about how he would go about doing this, and how to get to where he needed to go. Even if he did get the information he needed, it would be a long shot to actually get to where he needed to go. "Unfortunately, he is on the move. He was just in Oreburgh, and he was just in Hearthome too. I think he is moving around the base of the mountain pass. He would be going to Celestic now, and then making his way back here.

"Our options are to either wait for him here, or head him off at Celestic. Since time is of the essence, we need to go through the mountains and head right into Celestic." Twilight Steele finished. "Hopefully we won't run into any trouble..."

The wind blew through Fate's hair as he closed his eyes and sighed deeply. He knew that as long as was with his partner steele and was avoiding the reapers, he was safe. So Fate walked side by side with his companion to eventually escape the city of Eterna. As fate grew sight of an opening to a cave, it was blocked by the tall grass in the area, swaying left and right with the wind. As the duo fearlessly passed through the grass, they easily avoided a not so surprising attack from a wild bedoof. Fate's arms began flowing with veins until the veins on his arm turned into chains to be stopped by Steele. He indicated to fight with his pokemon and not with the intent to kill. Fate's veins retracted back wherever they came from as Ghastly floated forward.

"Uhhh I don't know what to do so uhh...ATTACK!" Fate screamed.

The ghastly used night shade on the Bedoof and the beaver- type pokemon fainted. Ghastly was floating with joy of his success but was cut short from Steele and Fate walking into the cave. As the two entered the cave, the screeching sound of bats echoed through as many zubats angrily began attacking the group of 2. Steele could quickly notice a Golbat in the background that seemed to be the leader and told Fate that they needed to take out of the golbat.

Twilight Steele gestured towards the Golbat leader, Fate seemed to take notice. However, they did not have time for such distractions. They needed to get through the mountain pass very quickly. The Golbat was hovering in midair, in a somewhat raipid and very ungraceful fashion, it's wings and body were thrashing all about, it seemed struggling to keep itself up. Twilight Steele focused his eyes onto the Golbat amidst the rest of the Zubat flying overhead. He pointed a sole finger at the evolved Pokemon and muttered out his attack "Dark Implosion..."

A ball of dark energy formed on the Golbat's body--which happens to be his mouth and face--and BABG!!! It had exploded as quickly as it had formed. The remaining Zubat scattered, scared from the loud bang of the implosion. "Lets go, I can see the exit." Twilight Steele pointed to an opening where the light of the city ahead and the moon was clearly visible.

After treading through the remainder of the cave, they came onto Route 211, and eventually into Celestic Town.

"Now," Twilight Steele began. "He should be here by now.... Keep your eyes peeled..." Celestic's small town appearance made it easy for them to cover most of the town quickly. They searched the shops, the Pokemon Center, and many houses, but the Hiker was nowhere to be found.

While walking back to the Pokemon Center it struck Twilight Steele like a train hitting a cow. "Oh, duh.... The little cave in the center of town..."

"What?" Fate inquired.

"At the center of town, remember that little cave? He's probably in there" Steele said.

They ran down into the cave, nearly hitting the large sign in front of the cave's entrance. Sure enough, they saw the figure of a large, husky man wearing a rather bulky backpack. "That's him!" Fate said quietly. "Now, we can ambush him as he comes..." But Steele had already acted.

Twilight Steele ran up at full speed and shouted "YOU!!" The hiker spun around casually, only to be knocked up against the wall of the cave. Steele had kicked him right in the gut onto the wall.


Twilight Steele pounded the cave wall right next to the Hiker's head, creating a crack in the wall. The Hiker was stunned with fear, but held his ground against the wall. Steele wasted no time. "Where is Arceus?!"
