OK Since the Majority has spoken out that the site needs to change...NOW IT'S YOUR CHANCE!!.
I would like to hear exactly what you all would like to see on this site! We can't make any changes unless you all tell us what you want. Please remember to be as specific as possible with what you would like to add. Please don't put "I think we should change this into a Nintendo website" Try putting "I think we should have a board for Pokemon" Now remember, your ideas DON'T have to be all about video games, i just want to know what all you would enjoy.
Also is there anything that we have that sucks that you would like to see gone? Is there anything we are doing that you think we should do differently. Please point them out (Except the RP and Museum)
Any and all request will be given thought.

Want to know what I think? I think that this site needs more coding and more things to reconize members. I'm going to go ahead and admit it.. the only reason why I take time to come to this forum is because alot of these people are cool.. except now since I'm Temp Staff I have to be on much more. Let me give a few ideas for some codes to have more interactive ways with the members..
Member of the month.. You can use coding to have a pic of a member that deserves a spot at the top with hisher picture (picture as in his/here favorite character). Another idea, a poll.. there can be a monthly or weekly poll of something similar to what Game Faqs has, that way staff can create a "Hero of All Time" or something like that, where every day or week two characters go up against eachothers, and we get to see who the members of the forum vote for all the way to the top.
Here is another idea.. although this IS the most complicated code if you are aquiring this for the first time.. The Crossfury Hack. It can be used in many ways, but I was thinking to have an area in your profile that says your Wii Friend Code..

How about the theatre proboards? That would post videos. We can add another page and put stuff there.. maybe the record of something..
Now I can keep rambling on about more ideas, but I am a lazy person in ways.. I suggest listening to what KoD has to say.. he has good ideas too.

i think we should try to get people more into the main site, and possible use my idea in this board. either way, the main site could use updating. I'll work on as much as I can myself, but until college, the old members know it would be tough for me right now.
If I think of anything else, I'll get back to you.

Entertainment CategoryGeneral Entertainment (Board): Subboards for: Movies Music Books TV -- Maybeh moar things like, Comic Books, etc... whatever people want. Anime (Board): Subboards: Anime (Visual) << Not included, just explaining.. Visual is for Anime TV Shows and the etc. -Manga -Japanese/Anime Music ----- I would add more to this idea, more boards, but I need to see what kind theme we decide to go with. I would also like to Include a NON-THEME (right now Smashbros) Fan Fiction section, and a "Request" Board.. we're people come to request things like images, a song (not to download, just finding it on Youtube or etc.) a signature, etc. If we are going to keep Advanced Members, we should put a section in there where almost all the forum rules vanish. A special board where only the brave travese, basically as long as it's not something that will get the board taken off, it's allowed sort of place. (Keep the post count on in the place, please. v.v;

I agree with Twlightlink's ideas.. except the Pokemanz one. Though, well.. I DID get a dorky idea while walking.. but it's really dorky and stupid.. almost no theme at all. I was like, what about a site.. for fans. Not fans of this, or fans of that.. all fans. A site celebrating extreme fandom, fanboys, fangirls... XD Silly, Inorite? Edit:I also like Lloyds idea, except for the Wii Code thing. Not good.. also, Cross Fury is just a hack manager, nothing more. As long as you have enough memory or, *** forbid can read, you can realize which code is which. I find CrossFury and needless strain on a system. But the extra tables and the member of the month and such like that, all good.  Edit 2:I know, this might be liek, wtf, OMG, radical suggestion.. but if we are re-doing the site, shouldn't we re-do the staff too? I know I was the one who suggested the rainbow of colors for the moderators, but for a first one.. I think that it makes it look.. ill organized. I think after a new Default Skin is made, we should use a color that works with the Default Skin as the Moderator color (keeping the individual ranks still) and keep things looking a bit nicer. But back to re-doing staff. I think we should say, ALRIGHT, we wantsa, 1 Admin, 8 staff members, and 1 temp staff (or something like that.. don't use those numbers probably) and hold a vote for those positions.. Also, a new thing were' liek, were, at the end of a temp staff's run for staff, the staff revote on the staff members.. like.. you make a poll with all the current staff members, and the temp staff, and the staff revote on who should be in it. That way, at the end of every temp's rule, they have a small change of winning a vote into full time Staff, and this way, Staff might actually shift around every now and then. (all of the above ideas might help keep Staff.. active and helpful too. ) |

I said this to you on the c-box already Angel but I'll say it again here. I don't like that idea. If we did it that way, staff members can simply get together and vote for the people they like and kick out the person they don't like. That idea breeds favoritism. I'm not saying that the mods would do that but I don't like it as a possibility either. If you want the circle of mods to change, that's good but we should make a way to keep everything fair and equal.
@ghost: hmm... I really don't have any specific ideas yet but I'm still thinking. I was never good at these kinds of things.
