And Nintendo isn't making one! It was an idea someone had to start a petition to get them to make one about 2 years ago!

smash is such a "party" game that i can't imagine getting a bunch of ppl with gameboys to all bring them and play very often i guess you got wifi now but i just wanna be able to play online on the wii that would be sweet. plus i dunno if the small screen would really be able to work with characters flying all over the place. however nintendo you've proved me wrong in the past make a sweet ssb for ds and i'm sure i'll like it.

I actually think it would be good for the kind of person that is always on the go. Sure it wouldn't be as good as the others, but if you were in such a hurry all the time and didn't have time to sit down and play, you could just pop out your DS and start Smashing

Maybe on a distant future handheld, when smashbros is over, they would make a smashbros trilogy, they did it for street fighter. (Maybe not portable for the smashbros game though.)

smash bros for ds just wouldn't work
most of the fun is in the multiplayer and on a ds its difficult to have
it would probably be a pretty good game i feel like it would be no where nere as good as the other three and be bad in comparison
