Pokemon Evolutions are a big part of the game. This game is meant to be played COMPLETELY alone, no one to trade with, no one to get items from, and no one to really assist you like the actual games. So that’s why I wana focus on the topic of Pokemon Evolutions.
What we need to discuss
-Trade Evolution (normal)
-Trade Evolution (Item)
-Branch trade Evolutions (Slowpoke, and Clampearl for example)
- Day & Night evolutions (Espion & Umbrion)
What I got so far
Haunter > Gengar
Lv 45
Kadabra > Alakazam
Lv 45
Machoke > Machamp
Lv 45
Scyther > Scizor
Lv 46 (modified move sets)
Eevee > Espion
Sun Stone
Eevee > Umbrion
Moon Stone
Still Unsure of[/u]
Clampearl
Slowpoke
Any I didn’t mention say something, and suggest. There will be no trade evolving since it can’t be done >.<

clampearl and slowpoke have to breed with each other to get slowkin..its a time paradox yes, but effective, yes

level with shellder in the party? Or, since that wasn't pitched untill generation 4 and may not be in generation 3.
It's espEON and umbrEON LURN 2 POKAYMANZ, they evolve by leveling up during the day/night, what's wrong with that? Unless this is a firered hack, in which case, make it ruby!
Clampearl could evolve like wurmple, depending on it's personality factor, it evolves into either huntail ir Gorybass at level 30.
Plus I'm wondering why all the trade evolutions are level 45...

This is a fire red hack so the day/night won't work.. Trades are 45 because that's what Jukan thought... plus you shouldn't normally be able to get that evolution by leveling up so they were decided to be higher |

bah, then the sun/moon thing wilol work, unless you can hack items, then you should make a sun/moon shard like in pokemon XD and make it evolve with happiness.
level 45 just seemed like an odd number for some of them... And that would make some of the in-game items worthless...
Steelix could be level 40, an even, not-that-odd number.
Since this is on the thread of evolutions, will you be adding some of the D/P evolutions in the hack?

Steelix and Porygon were forgotten on this list but both i think were gonna evolve early
There are only 25 spots for "new" pokemon...you can't add any more than that (since we aren't going to MODIFY the pokemon... 1-3rd generation will ALL be in there somehow)... we have discussed some pokemon additions that will not be named at this point... right now we need to see if adding one of the 25 is actually going to WORK or not.. the latest test of this crashed the rom. we'll keep you posted

I been working on sprites, i am trying and failing to get new pokemon sprites in. dunno what i'm doing wrong, but i am getting closer. i'll include info on adding pokemon in another thread, back on topic
The trade evolvers evolve at lv 28, so i chose 45 as it is a decent distance from 28 without being too high. unless you have a better suggestion
As fo Espeon an Umbreon, i like your idea SLE but i don;t know if i can hack new items or not, i'll look around, but if i could, adding effects seem a bit more complex, so i dunno if i have the skills!!
Steelix i was thinking lv 30. i actually used Steelix and loved it o.o . You catch them early so its a reasonable level for this 1 form pokemon

Porygon should use upgrade, but since we can't, i'm thinking lv 40, since you obtain at lv 30 if lucky enough

I say since this is firered, porygon is available in the game corner, the 4th gym, at level 18 But I think it should be level 30-ish for the evo, but aren't there held item evolutions like happiny in generation 3? If so, do that with the up-grade. steelix should be at 36,just to be awesomer than it is already >_>
And we should change the evolution of slowpoke then, same as tyrogue, Attack>Defense=Slowbro
Defense>Attack=Slowking
Defense=Attack=No evolution/new evolution
just a few ideas...

Graveler will also be lv 45....best to keep the trade evolvers the same
