Hey guys I just wanted to say some things to the members of this site. It seems that lately there have been some ill feelings toward the staff. Some of the members feel that the staff is unfair and they have no sympathy for anyone but themselves. I don't think it is right to judge them this way. Take it from someone who did hate the staff at one point. When I first came here I thought the staff was the most corrupt group of people I have ever seen. It seemed like their decisions were harsh and all they cared about was enforcing the rules. I hated them with a passion. The only mod I didn't hate was Angel but at the same time I was very jealous of her (I am not going into the reasons why). Once I finally calmed down, I closed my eyes and looked at them again. I saw them in a new light. They aren't some group of people that want to rule with an iron fist. All they want is too better the site for everyone here, not just themselves. Yes they may make some rash decisions sometimes and they may treat people unfairly but above all else they are human. They make mistakes just like everyone else. So when I realized this I settled down and gave them another chance. I want the members here to do the same.
I know you all have mixed feeling about the way the mods operate but I want all of you to see them from a different point of view. They aren't terrible people. They are just a group of people trying to make wise, just decisions. We all need to communicate with each other more and talk about our problems. Please don't let these negative emotions build up and turn into anger. Let them out, express yourself. Also I want everyone to know that I'm here to help. I may be a mod but before all that I am a member of this site. If any member has a problem they would like to address to the staff let me know and I will personally see that they get the message. Now I don't want to single myself out as the only mod that will listen to you. I just want the members to know that I can be trusted and I'm willing to help. If you can't trust any of the other mods you can trust me. Give me your resolve and believe in Star. The other staff members are also here to listen to you and work with you. Just give them a chance guys. I know if we work together, we can get rid of all these negative emotions and make a clean slate. With some time, patience and understanding we can get along with each other and build greater respect for each other as well.
