For me, yes.. as a girl, the first one I watched at a young age was Sailor Moon. At that time.. I thought anime was all like that. Girls battling evil in cute outfits. I thought it was for girls and such.
But then I watched my second series.. Yu Yu Hakusho. Which I loved.. but it showed me another type of anime...
But yeah, both series feel all nostalgic to be me now. I love to watch them just whenever.

OMG SAILOR MOON WAS MY FIRST TOO!!!!!!
i actually loved it more then DBZ.....when it was on toonami.....all other shows on it were not worth watching for about a year......then i finally stared noticing other anime.....and fell completely in love with anime all together
without Sailor Moon....i wouldn't be here today >.<

It was very different from alot of shows. At a young age, I thought it was a GIRL show, but I definitely know better now. To be honest I think more boys like it than girls. I feel the same way.  |

lol its funny I had a crush on sailor moon when i was younger...btu sailor moon was my first,(I was 3) then pokemon and after that, 5 years later, Inuyasha, beyblades, yu-gi-oh, 3 years later, naruto, 2 months later, bleach and naruto, yu yu hakusho, one piece, 2 years later, fooly cooly, 4 hours later, moving on to katekyoshi hitman reborn.

First grade, Sailor Moon. I remember having the biggest crush on Ami Mizuno x3
I've always been fond of the Mahou Shoujo/Sentai anime because Sailor Moon was my first.
