Oh great, the people who think Earthbound is a good RPG started a club..  Seriously, I joke, I joke. No but seriously playing at least 50 RPG games of my own, I think I'm qualified to bring the club a little insight. Sign me up. These games are my life. |

Some info on my RPGs:
I like the Mother series and the Paper Mario series, and I think that people who call SPM an RPG should be shot.
I think SMRPG is good, but overrated.
And I will never play the latest Fire Emblem game because I don't like the new if someone dies, then they leave forever thing.

I think SMRPG is good, but overrated. THANK YOU. Finally someone else says it. It was good, but nowhere near one of the best. And I will never play the latest Fire Emblem game because I don't like the new if someone dies, then they leave forever thing. Which is why I never let them die... it adds a element of winning every battle without a loss.
I'm about to upload a list of all the RPG's I've played.. when I feel like wasting an hour on it. XD |

Mother 3 = Best RPG ive ever played but was quite the sob story.
Earthbound: Amazing gameplay with a good story leaving me quite addicted.
SMRPG: Its not over rated. it brought a good foundation of 3d graphic adventure into the SNES world laying down the foundation for future 3d games with the same old Mario feel.
PM: The graphics weren't as good as some other 3d games but it was enjoyable.
PMTTYD: PERFECT!

This is the type of gaming I grew up with, and I love them to death (ugh too many shooters now, and no story!)
I'd love to join!
Anyway what was everyone's first RPG?

Evolution Worlds was Ok... it had sucky graphics but a good gameplay and storyline. Overall it was just Ok.
Mario And Luigi Superstar Saga was by far one of my favorite RPG's despite the difficult controls. It really had the Mario Bros feel to it.
Mario And Luigi 2 Partners in Time: I LOVED the mario bros/ baby mario bros tag team action. The controls were super hard to master but the overall game was challenging yet at the same time fun to play. The graphics used on both the top screen and touch screen really added to the game. Overall this game was a epic win.
Every RPG I've Ever Played: Super Mario RPG, Pokemon (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal), Earthbound, Mother 3, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, Mario And Luigi 2 Patners in time, Paper Mario, Paper Mario TTYD, Super Paper Mario (if you count it), and Evolution Worlds.
