Heartfelt Team of Truimph
You know them, and you love them. Team's that simply made you cry because their victories were so tear jerking (in a good way, sorry Michigan Wolverines, better luck next year) that they just can never be forgotten. How the Jamican Bobsled team conquered all odds at the Olympics, the Miracle on Ice against the Russians, or maybe LGN's 4x200 meter relay team winning their conferance championship (in that race) when the odds were stacked against them. Congo rower at U.S. Olympics
I nominate a moment that I wasn't even planning on watching till the very last moment. A rower from Congo (Africa mind you) was in the finals of the white water rowing and astoundingly came in 3rd place. Normally that wouldn't mean much, but the fact that it was Congo meant a lot to me, and it was the first medal the country had ever won. His celebrated by breaking his paddle in half and shouting in Houshaic Victorial tone.
