Ghost helped persuade me to make some actual guidelines for smileys, apparently, I've been going off my personal opinion, so I'm gonna make some mock guidelines for smileys. Since I'm not a moderator, I have almost no say in the matter, however, there should be some sort of guideline for smileys.
Usage
-Users suspected of spamming smileys can be warned, and if they do not stop, it shall be treated as spam instead of regular enjoyment.
-2 line entirely made of smileys *as long as the second line is not fixing the first line* is counted as smiley spam.
-There must be an interval of at least 2 minutes between the first 2 lines and a third line for it not to be counted as spam at all.
-Small actual face smileys will not be counted as spam if used continuously in sentences.
Smileys
-Smileys cannot be bigger than 45x90 to fit with the avatars.
--Any smiley that is bigger than that guideline shall be asked to be resized. If the user is incapable of doing such, the Moderator in charge of smileys is in charge of doing such.
--If the smiley is not resized, the smiley will be deleted.
-Users have a PRIVILEGE to 1 smiley, it is not whatsoever a right. Certian members may EARN a SECOND smiley, but it has to have a valid reason to be granted.
-Underused smileys have a right to be deleted. If someone complains about a smiley being useless or underused, it will be dealt with.
--A inactive smiley deletion can be appealed if another person believes that it should be kept. A third party, a staff member, will then decide if it will be deleted.
-No adding random smileys >_< they should be approved by a moderator. Of course, if you're a member, you MUST have it approved to be added, if you're a moderator, you must have it approved with someone who wouldn't agree with you on everything.
-If you find something over the internet, at least see if you need credit for it, mostly, if you want a smiley, you should get it from an official game or customize it yourself.
