You can ask why they didn't put a lot of people in brawl.
Copyright issues is probably why Geno didn't make it.

Its because Geno is property of Square Knix and Nintendo and Nintendo couldnt get rights to use him. Pretty sure thats why.

Maybe they never really tried to get him in?
Or he couold've even been unfinished in time. So nothing is really proven
But we DO know that he was considered (Popular-ness list, remember?)

actaully it does, that has happened with mewtwo,roy,Pra and Mai *sheds tear*, toon zelda and dixie kong
they were gonna put them in, but they couldn't finish them in time
they might've done that with geon, although they hadn't started him yet, unless you wanted brawl to be really delayed?

yeah but they never started toon zelda and they did not want mew 2 and roy at the begining if they took them out

yes they did, they had the character model of toon zelda partially programed already
and they never took out mewtwo or roy
they just weren't finished
