I just realized this in the censor's thread. that all the Guys want the censors gone while all the girls want the censors to remain. in Bio Class we watched a documentary on this and the researchers had no real conclusion. so I said What the hell why not ask the Forum which I am right now ;D
So why do you guys think our Minds Differ in the eyes of gender?

Lol. My theory is that guys don't care as much as women do. Men are used to the cussing and trying to be tough while women is more considerate for others.

Anyway, about this thread, I think our minds differ vastly. I guess it has to do with maturity. And I guess the general idea is that girls are more caring and such while guys are more caring of themselves, or other guys.

I think its because of what you grow up with. like from the start your parents (If your a guy for instance) will give you trucks and cars and theyll give you like Power Rangers to watch while as for a girl you play with Dolls and you watch Barbie or what ever. thats where I tthink the difference comes from

I completey disagree. Gender is not 100% an ideal of enviroment or growth. I don't like this getting out very often, but I'm a male to female transsexual. When I was little, despite lack of interest in anything besides reading.. I was given toys like Ninja Turtles and I played video games and sports and etc. I may not have liked it, and I WANTED to play with Barbies and other dolls, but I didn't. My playhabits and surroundings were that of a normal boy with 3 little sister for the most part, and I was told that I seemed normal, albiet a bit sad as if something was wrong.
I was just born feminine gendered. Female mind. The beggining of wether or not your feminine or masculine minded starts right in the womb, it's how your born. At least that's how I feel. I mean, I'm a girly thing... a huge girly thing. One of the most feminine people I know.. I break out of the cycle.

well first off I have to say thats very brave of you Angel for admiting that.
and Now what you just said "I may not have liked it, and I WANTED to play with Barbies and other dolls, but I didn't" obviously now you have taken on feminine characteristics but what made you want to play with dolls. Its kinda confusing to me on how a certain Gender knows what they want.

Its instinct dude. Even if you give a little girl some tonka trucks and ultimate action figures, chances are she will try to do something like put them to bed and care for them like they were dolls. Dudes like myself, the first thing I wanted to do was crash them into walls and use my figures for battling. I believe some of that stuff comes from the environment as well but most of it is determined by DNA.

Its kinda confusing to me on how a certain Gender knows what they want. It just was always etched in my brain. It's hard to understand. My first memory was wanting to wear the pretty dress my little sister was wearing while we were taking pictures. Apart of it was the seperation. All my sisters hung out together, so I was left playing with my toys alone.. and was a kinda feminine boy anyway.. already obbessed with girly things. I wanted to play with Barbies and etc... so i could feel like a girl. Feeling like a girl made me happy, but I also think that I wanted to.. not be alone. I wanted to hang out with my sisters and play with them.. so a little bit of the want was merely so I had someone to play with. It's just odd. I never really thought twice about it.... it's just how I was. When I was litttle, I loved to play with my ducks and dress them up in pretty dresses when my mom wasn't looking. Something about the feminine world just excited me. Ducks were the girlest things my mother and father would get me, so that's what i used to dress up.. by stealing my sister's doll clothes and mother them. I would be willing to answer any other questions, and sorry if I blabbed. The purpose of this was merely to try to show you that it was simply instinct for the most part. EDIT: ninja'd by Bob.. so I sound redundant.

no its fine. and I just find it wierd how people have those instincts like you were saying and how that instinct tells you what you really want. its kinda cool also

Being female had nothing to do with my decision to keep the censors the way they are, but I do see a trend in males that seems to favor cursing (although I know many who dislike it). I guess the male mind needs cursing to feel cool about itself? That's the only use I've seen guys curse for so I'm assuming that's it.

I did want to throw in that some of it is definitely the environment. If I wasn't brought up thinking, "Girls do this, boys do this.." I might have not been so initially attracted to it. But because every child is brought up with this unfair stereotype, there was a bit of "I'm a girl, so I do this." sort of thinking in my head. A small part of me wanted to do it just because that's what girls are supposed to do.
Though, this is just a little bit. I mean, I still enjoyed it alot more than I ever enjoyed my Ninja Turtle action figures.. even those were mostly for playing house. I had a cardboard house and they would talk around and have fun.. do normal everyday life stuff. So.. it's all pretty confusing.

The environment on how you grew up

Thats a good point doom but what I see is that your parents decide how you grow up. for example I was in toysrus the other day and overheard a couple talking while there little girl was with them. the father picked up some kind of book or toy of some sort which was more on the masculine side and the mother said "No,She's a Girl She Can't Play with this" so how I see it your put into an environment where you don't have a choice to choose what you want to do.

In response to the original question posed:
I am one of the most feminine girly females I know, and I swear like a sailor and strongly oppose censoring the individual rights of anyone.
