And what a day it was.
Storm clouds rolled on the horizon, threatening the day with a torrential downpour of rain, blotting out everything and robbing those present of their vision. Their villainous crashing and looming shadow hung heavy in the air, watching. Waiting.
Not that it mattered too terribly much to K-55 Marauder. He was big (may hap unwieldy) and bulky, his armored skin gleaming in the bitter light of what remained of the day. But he didn't care. He never cared. But that seemed irrelevant now.
Boom. There they were.
Radar picked up two unidentified nulls. Who were they? Why were they here? The excitement of not knowing filled him, the lights across his HUD began to flicker with excitement. But soon that energy would fade and a battle would begin. For now, he simply let it happen, immersing himself in the thrill of not knowing.

With a flash of light a force hit the ground leaving the air crakiling with energy and the ground with a small crater.
Steping out of the crater Gigan blinked his eyes going through the diffrent functions until the dust settled around him. Scaning around for life forms he reached behind him and restaked both of his Gradius' pistols, his head snapped back as he saw the heat signatures in the far distance. Notacing the size of the heat signature he tensed his body and slowly started to get ready for a confretation.

The world never ceased to piss Isaac off. He went out to the middle of nowhere to be alone for a while, he liked his peace. But no, life always seemed to kick him when he was the most vunerable, something he should have realized long ago.
Isaac stood up with a sigh and brushed himself off. Whatever that flash of light was, he knew it wasn't going to be good. He walked towards the place where the light had been, his hands and fingures spasming in anticipation as distinct sparks of electricity eminated from them. He was going to kill the sob who disturbed him, and whoever else got in his way.

Ho, traveler. 'Tis a fine day for killing. K-55 recited a book he read once to himself in his own mind, pulling up images across his HUD as he did. He'd seen a movie based on it as well but it simply wasn't up to snuff.
Tucking the images back into his data banks, the massive machine calculated the distance to the nearest target, the one that had appeared in the flash of light.
Carefully creating a trajectory, then putting in several fail safes to make sure the cannon's round landed somewhere in the vicinity of his opponent, K-55 fired a single shot, which spun and went too high, destined for a spot just beyond the intended target and ultimately missing completely. But that was fine. It showed him that the Marauder meant business, and that all four-thousand-someodd-pounds of bold metal were descending upon him, charging right at him. He could only just see him, of course, as a spot in the distance, but the Kell Hound was certain that the gap would soon close.

As Gigan was walking a whistleing sound made it way into his ear going from soft to loud. Knowing the sound of a high class bullet better than anything, he switched his eyes to infered vision, looking to the sky he just missed it as a missle landed and exploded behind him. Throwing him a few feet into the air with a painful landing in the mud. Looking up he could see the faint traces of the trail from the missle going back to a giant heat source in the distance.
"You have messed with the wrong person," Gigan mutterd to himself "I have taken down people way bigger than you for far less."
Making one final scan around him he noticed another heat signature faint ao it was far away from him, turning away to focus on the person who had fired at him he concluded that he deserved Gigans attention more. Throwing the Gradius behind his back to the seperate hands he changed the ammo he had previousely had in there. Taking a stance that put him in a sprinters stance with his guns pointing behind him, he fire "Propulsion Shot!!", he yelled. With a powerful explosion coming out of the guns he was proplelled with the force of a missle through the air.
As the wind and raind striked his skin, he traveled through the air aimed at the being who had fired at him."I'm coming for you." he whispered as the words were ripped from his mouth

Isaac had been running toward, whatever the hell he was going to kill, for a couple of minutes now. And he could see a form on the horizon.
"Hmm, finally" He scoffed.
Then suddenly, he saw a white streak fly towards the figure. Only to crash behing it and explode.
Startled, he glanced in the direction of where the shot came from, he could barely make it out, but there was definitely another person around.
While he had managed to close a large amount of distance in the time it took the form to get up after being knocked down, he was severly pissed when he saw the form jet off towards the other person.
Isaach just stopped, mouth hung open a bit. Then he hastily pulled out his pen, which is more of a stone club than anything. Watching the figure, he analysed it's trajectory, and began to charge his pen with energy.
"Don't turn your back on me bastard!" he cried, as he launched a crescent of energy, which would be able to cleanly cut through him, even if he was wearing heavy armor (which he assumed he wasn't).
Smiling, he watched as he waited for his attack to cut the figure off, which would be inevitable unless he managed to speed up expenentially, or had the ability to stop on a dime.

Well that was good, the opponent had at least seen him. Best to wrap this up soon though- the rain had picked up. As of yet it was only a light drizzle but soon the dark clouds not so far off would be upon them.
Grinding to a halt, K-55 held on arm forward of him and bent it so his palm could face up, and the armor across his forearm would protect his face from anything that came at it too suddenly. His other arm, the left one, swung underneath the first and bent in such a way as to allow the fist to act as a rest for his right arm while allowing the armored front of his left to defend his body. Hunkering down, he brought his knees up to further protect his body, with their reinforced plated overlapping with his already-in-place arms and forming a shield of sorts against this man's opening attack.
His myomer muscles tensed, and he prepared to drop his saber so the battle could begin in genuine. Eager, he pulled up his scanners and battle systems, swung his cannon back into it's preset "offline" position and allowed his cape to unhinge slightly, so it would blow in the wind more dramatically. Humans loved drama, and so did the Kell Hound.
"Come and get me!" The synthesized voice growled. "Show me what you can do!"

Raum had been walking, minding his own business when he saw it.
Off in the distance he saw three beginning to fight, one was a skinny boy who's eyes set of a strange aura, as though they didn't react with time as normal organic eyes would.
The other was a human, nothing special to Raum, just anger.
The final was the one Raum found the most interesting, it had the shape of a man but seemed to be made of steel cable and armor. Time acted as though there was no true life in this being.
At first what he saw did not trouble Raum, but as he continued to watch he began to think. These three were going to clash, and it would be a violent encounter, but what if it spread?
There was a village a few miles back, good kind people. What if this selfish act poured over onto their land, the loss of innocent life or even in this case to potential for loss was to great for Raum to ignore.
He turned on his heel and rested his hand on the cutlass-like blade on his side and readied his other hand on the flint lock pistol he hid on the back of his belt under his tunic.
He began walking, approaching the battle field. He needed to stop this before it truly began.

Blasting through the air Gigan could see the large being in front of him crouch down, most likely in a defensive position, he thought. "Fat chance friend." he said to himself, sudenlly to his prefreal vision a large blast of energy was roketing at a faster speed than he could fly right at him.
Acting quikly his lft arm swung to his side while his right pointed downwards, "Propultion Shot!!" blasting him spining into the air to his right. Looking in the direction that the blast had came from he brung up his right arm "This'll show 'em, Future Shot!!" upon firing the bullet vaneshed into nothing, knowing the shot would apear and distract the second person firing at him.
Looking forward he saw he was approching the being very soon, notacing it was bigger than he origionaly thought he brought both guns up to fire "Acid Shot!!" he yelled hoping the bullets would distract him as he came down.

Isaac's smile faded as he saw his target dodge his attack.
"Tch, fine then" putting his weapon back in it's sheath, Isaac decided to take a different approach.
He suddenly bursted into a sprint, as wings of darkness seemed to sprout from his back. After running a couple of yards and picking up enough speed, he suddenly leaped into the air, and soared towards the figure, and the larger second person he could now see.

Wait what.
Another blip apeared on K-55's scanners. Something big, but not outside human parameters. What the hell could it...?
K-55's thoughts were interrupted by a wave of energy that raged... right on past him, doing nothing but gashing the ground in front of him. It was meant for the one charging him, no doubt.
But he had other problems. For one, the guy that was nowhere near him had a ranged attack, and that was no good. The second was this newcomer, coming up from K-55's mostly unprotected flank. His reinforced plating (mostly his limbs overlapping) were in front of him, and his back was mostly exposed. And he couldn't train his cannon on either unless he moved his whole body, something he didn't intend on doing.
A clang. A metallic spark, a crumbling feeling. A bullet hat hit K-55's right arm, just inward from the wrist, and was spreading a sort of acid all across him.
The rain fell more steadily, but it was still light by comparison. These things mattered little to the Marauder, who flung his arm away from his enemy, closing down unneeded systems in an effort to boost the auto repair and thus, keep damage to a minimum. The hole created was, in the end, no bigger than the bullet had been, but it had penetrated the armor of the ancient hound, and that alone worried him.
Flexing his wrist, K-55 dropped his saber, allowing it to fall from his right arm into his waiting hand. Flicking the silver switch, invisible to those who looked, the familiar snap-hiss of the blade's activation spread an air of caution to all who heard it, and flooded the area with a sickly green light.
Bringing the blade to bear, K-55 resolved not to use it yet, and activated his targeting systems. Sliding upward, the ancient cannon slid up before flipping over, locking the rounds into the clip and slamming into place on his left shoulder. It glowed with surging energy, then released four rounds- one went too low, hitting the ground a mere three feet before the machine and producing quite a dust cloud. As far as the Kell Hound could tell, the others were all on the mark.

As he began to approach the field Raum noticed that the metal man began to change, to do something with his arm and shoulder.
Raum did not know what the man of metal was doing, but he knew that it couldn't be good. He quickened his pace to a full on run, throwing his sword arm behind him to increase his aerodynamics.
As he ran forward he pulled the flintlock pistol from his tunic and began to take careful aim, he did not enjoy the prospect of shooting an opponent in the back but if it had the chance to save innocent lives he would gladly do it.
As he charged he took careful aim, better to take your time. as he approached the proper distance and squeezed the trigger and fired, aimed directly at a the guard protecting the weak neck of the metal man.

Great another one , Gigan thout as his sensors picked up another heat signature coming up behind the metal man since he could see since he was closer now. Notacing the metal man pointing what he could only describe as a mounted cannon at him he focused his pointed guns at him as he fired four large shots at him. The first fell only a few feet so was of no concern and he fired at the remaining two, "Screw Shot!! Screw Shot!!", the first hit drilling its way into the round destroying both the second, third, and his own shot.
The fourth hit to close to Gigan, the resulting explosion was close anough to gigan that it stopped his momentun throwing him down into the now soaked ground. Standing up in the little bit of mud Gigan switched his eyes from thermal to scope, looking at the metal man he saw that the acid bullet had hit but the metal was repairing itself.
Swinging his head around he saw the second being had sprouted wings and was comming straight towards them both, as well as the third being wich seemed to be firing a flintlock pistol at the larger assalaint. It seemed that none were on the same side, "Oh well that'll just make this easyer." he said to himself.
Bringing his guns up focusing on the first and second being he fired with the speed he had been traind for, "Magma Shot!!," at the metal one, "Tornado Shot!!," at the winged being and with a twitch of the wrist he aimed and fired at the flintlock pistol user "Acid Shot!!". Lowering his arms he tried to catch his breath and see how they would react.

As the gap between Isaac and the other two clashing figures closed, he finally got a good look at them.
One appeared to be a gunman, average build, nothing to bad, Isaac knew he could make quick work of him. However, the other, larger figure, seemed to be some sort of war machine. He wasn't sure if he wanted to tangle with that or not.
He watched as the two exchanged shots from there weapons, and was just about to prepare an attack against the gunman.
"Magma Shot!" shouted the young man as he fired another strange bullet at the machine.
Then, less than a fraction of a second later, Isaac noticed the gunman's arm and wrist begin to move.
Isaac gasped "Oh shi-"
"Tornado Shot!"
Isaac quickly swirved to the left, barely dodging the bullet. However, his less than gracefull action through him of balance. He skidded across the ground as his wings dissapated, almost falling face first on the ground several times. However, his opponent didn't take advantage of that humiliating situation, and instead chose to fire a third round at what appeared to be a new entree in their little brawl.
"Great, just great" Isaac moaned, running his hand through his hair.
"Lets get this over with"

K-55 didn't much care for heat, since it tended to make his systems go all apeshit much faster than the cold.
Magma wasn't his personal preference of things to step in today either.
Reeling back, K-55 caught the round square in his chest, his horrifying realization came to him all too late as the bullet exploded into a fiery cataclysm of molten rock. But he reacted quickly, or as quickly as he needed to, and auto-vented his entire cooling system, causing him to lose a considerable amount of coolant simply to make the molten rock no longer so damaging. When it finally slid off at his feet (catching his cloak on fire) his diagnostics informed him that there was a gnarled scar across his chest and his armor was weakened, but otherwise he was fine. Oh and a flintlock bullet in the back of his neck, compressing a few wires but other wise not doing any real harm to him.
K-55 bolted upright, turned to face the man who had just arrived, half-turned back to his first opponent, and bounded backward, his massive frame shaking the earth as he came back down. He raised his saber at the first opponent, the gunslinger, but kept his targeting systems on the others as well.
The rain had picked up, it's light shower was getting progressively worse, and the thunder that could be heard over the sounds of battle threatened the combatants with horrid battle conditions.
