Chapter 3: A New World Order

OOC: Sorry for the wait KOD. I didn't really have the motivation to post in the main RP.

[Nuwa, Ness, Zero and Ashley (Enchanted oasis)

The bat slammed into Nuwa’s back sending her flying towards the ground. She laid there for a moment. She still upset; hurt and emotional from the past battle she was in. The aura around Nuwa began glowing in a dark shadowy color. She rose to her feet and looked at Ness with a cold, irritated look.

“It’s time to end this” Nuwa warped in front of him, held out her hand and emitted a bright light from her fingertips. Ness’s eyes burned from the light’s intensity and he was temporary blinded. Nuwa made her hand into a fist, winded up and punched him right in the face. Ness went flying backwards. He landed on the ground with a thump. Nuwa walked over to Ness. Her eyes glowed in a faint purple color as she looked at Ness lying down on the ground.

“Rise” She said. Ness quickly stood on his feet. His eyes looked dead and his pupils disappeared. Nuwa knew that her eye spell had affected him.

“I command you to die”

Ness nodded and put his hand on his throat. He began to squeeze. He gasps for air as Nuwa controlled his mind and his actions. She watched with an evil, exciting smile on her face. After seeing Ness suffer for a minute her good side resurfaced and her eyes returned to normal. Ness fell to the ground as he tried to catch his breath. Nuwa was really upset now. This anti-form was turning her into a killer.

“I’m sorry Ness” She said as she warped out of the oasis and back into the desert of end. Nuwa began to cry. Her tears ran off her face like a raging waterfall. She couldn’t keep her emotions under control while she was in this form. Suddenly Nuwa felt the presence of two people coming toward her. She put her hand on her fans and waited to see who was coming.

[Nuwa, Maria, Azumi (Desert of End)]

Azumi and Maria walked through the scorching landscape of the Desert of End. Both of them could feel that they were closing in on the aura they’ve been sensing. It was a pretty quiet trip. None of them really had anything interesting to say to each other. Maria finally got annoyed by the silence and decided to say something.
“So I never caught you name if you don’t mind me asking.”

Azumi smiled as she looked at her. “I was starting to think you would never ask. My name is Azumi.”

“Pleased to meet you I’m Maria Valentine.” Maria didn’t really know how to react so she smiled back.

“I can see that you’re not use to having company around.”

“Hmph. I prefer to be alone.” Maria knew she was lying. She wanted a companion to travel around with but she never really had anyone to talk to. Maria began to remember a girl that use to be with her back on her homeland. The girl was like a little sister to her and Maria loved her dearly. She wanted that girl to have a good life so she left her on the island when Maria decided to leave. Just thinking about it made Maria sad.

“I see. You don’t seem like the loner type. You sound very lonely and sad.”

“As I said back there you know nothing about me.”

Maria and Azumi walked over a sand dune and stopped at the top of it. They have arrived at their destination. Nuwa stared at them from a distance. She had her hand pressed against her fans and she was in a defensive stance. Azumi studied the girl. She was quite young but she looked older than Azumi was. Her aura was beaming with energy but it seemed a little dark and unstable.

“Well Maria we seemed to have found the source of that strong aura. So shall we go down and tal……..” Before she could finish Maria jolted toward the girl. She took out her pistols and began shooting at the girl. Nuwa took out her fans and deflected the bullets. She attached her fans together and waved it fiercely. “Wind Scythe” A huge gust of wind blew toward Maria, taking the sand on the ground with it. Maria closed her eyes and dropped to the ground so the gale wouldn’t blow her away. She felt a little drained after the attack but she didn’t let that stop her. She took out Aisuru and shadow stepped to Nuwa. Maria swung her blade hoping to end this quickly. Nuwa closed her fan and blocked the attack. They both pushed against one another, trying to get the upper hand. Maria disengaged and slashed upwards. Nuwa opened her fan and did the same. Both of the girls received a long cut on their bodies. They stared at each other with eyes even death would be afraid off. Azumi watched the fight from afar.

“Ok this battle is getting too dangerous. Hikaru?” Azumi said as she looked at her blade. The blade glowed as it spoke back to her.

“There isn’t much moisture in the air but there is enough to do what you want Mistress” Azumi took out her blade and held it with both hands.

“Breath Hikari” A thick mist came out of her blade and flew toward the 2 girls. The mist froze the moisture around them and encased them in a block of ice. Azumi Flash stepped to them and smacked both of them upside the head.

“You’re both acting like rash children. Enough of this!!” Maria and Nuwa’s heads turned away from each other. Azumi sighed as she looked at the two of them.

“This is going to be a long day”

[Nightingale, Blaine, Axel (Frosty hills)]



Nightingale was exhausted from the tiresome walk through the mountains. It has been ages since she saw her girlfriend Maria. There hasn’t been a trace of her presence since the two of them came to this strange land. She knew that Maria learned how to use a long ranged shadow step but she never figured that she would master it so fast. Nightingale sighed as she sat down on a nearby stump. She looked at the sky hoping it would cheer up her mood. Suddenly she saw 2 men approaching her from the air. The 2 people stopped and landed on the ground in front of her. Nightingale stared at them with the utmost interest. One of the men up to her and demanded her name. She looked at them with fire in her eyes. “I don’t have to tell you a damn thing” she snarled. The man looked back at the other.

“I told you Blaine. This can’t be the strong fighter you were sensing. She is nothing but a little tart.”

“Tart?!!!” Nightingale was pissed when she heard that. She kicked him dead in the face and he was sent flying backwards. The man got right back up and ran toward her. He tried to attack her but Blaine stopped him.

“I’m sorry for the trouble my idiot friend made here. My name is Blaine and the idiot over there is named Axel”

Nightingale bowed and said “Pleased to meet you my name is Nightingale”

“Blah that sounds like the name of a damn fairy” Axel said as he grumbled. Blaine paid him no mind.

“I can see that you’re a strong fighter. How about you join us in our quest to obtain a great power? Together we can bring the world to its knees”

Nightingale thought for a moment. If she went with them it might give her a better chance of finding her love Maria. She looked at Blaine, smiled and said “Sure. I’ll join you. It sounds like a lot of fun. Besides my power is more than enough to complete your goals”.
“Excellent” Blaine looked back at Axel. “Looks like me got a new member Axel”

Axel looked away and said “whatever”. Nightingale was happy to have some companions but she was happier at the chance to journey with them. She had a chance to finally find Maria and be reunited with her.

[Steele]
[Mountain Core]

Steele walked towards the pillar of lightning jetteson from the center of the circular room within the mountain. Now then.... Steele began after Rash iwas ejected from their battle. Let's begin.


Steele began charging up a while energy in his left hand. The energy emmitted a pure and bright light as if it were a star from the heavens themselves. On the other, a black energy ball, with a core so dark, it was as though it was a black hole. With both balls in his hands, he approached the pillar. He injected the balls into the pillar; the electricty and energy going wild. The lightning was wading and waxing and changing colors, Steele was holding on for dear life.

Suddently, the next thing Steele knew, he was disentegrating. His feet were gone, as though his body was made of sand. He could feel the lightning pulling every cell, every atom into it. Steele held his grip on the pole of lightning as he was fading away. It was a horrible feeling as he was being sucked in. Soon he had no legs, soom his chest, and finally his head.

When Steele came to, he found himself with a splitting headache, but otherwise intact. When he looked around, he couldn't even tell his eyes were open. There was no light. Anywhere. He put his hand to his face to check if they were open. He stood up, and walked with both arms out, trying to feel around. Maybe I did it.... it would make sense...... Gathering up energy, he made another white energy ball, and fired it in front of him.

SSSPPPSH!

The ball hit something and had stuck there. The light emminated the place and Steele could see where he was. He looked around. All he could see was the ball of light, and nothing. "I did it...... I created my own dimension!!"

Steele wasted no time. He quickly scattered those white energy balls everywhere to reval the shape of his dimension. It was basically a room with no entry or exit. It was basically a semi-sphere about 100 feet in diameter.

Steele had to do the final touch. He flicked out his cape and gathered up energy. Soon, the walls of the dimension began to wave and shift. The whole dimension was shaking. "HAA!!" Steele flicked open his cape to it's full length. As the cape was flicked open, the enire dimension was sucked into the cape along with Steele.

Steele was floating. He couldn't move, but was not chained. He could not hear, but there was nothing to hear. He could see, but there was only white. He was nowhere.

Tartarus

DMM:Smart boy.

DMM turned the opposite way.

DMM:Avoid fights while you can, but well-equipped when you need to be. A very smart boy.

DMM drew his sword and examined it.

DMM:You know, a weapon is no use without its master. And a master is ill-equipped when he doesn't know how to use it.

DMM ran his finger along the sharp edge of the blade.
he got a small cut on his finger. He smiled.

DMM:Funny, isn't it?

X:What is?

DMM:How a weapon can betray you. You misuse t and you get put under the spell of insanity. You kill your friend. Drive a sword through his heart. You go into shock and soon you will slowly go into insanity.

DMM pointed his sword at X. X put his hand on his weapon.

DMM:But I have not come for you. I did, in fact, see you fall into the portal.

DMM's sword pointed a small amount to X's left.

DMM:You gave me a mission. For that I thank you.

DMM put his sword away. He walked up to X.

DMM:Watch your own back, trust nobody, live on your own prayers, and don't work with anyone. These words will help you succeed in battle. Forget one of these and you can have a spear driven through you.

With those words, DMM left. X looked around. DMM was already on his way to what he seemed to be pointing to.

X looked first where DMM had dissappeared from and then towards where he pointed. X saw nothing but the vast expanse of desert.

"f***." X said simply. He had some to find the sacrificed foru...SSS members but for all he knew they were already on the way out of here. And now he was trapped. "What he said...it's true, partly. But wrong. all wrong. I have trusted people, I've tried to watch over everyone, and I've tried to work with people. And sometimes it has backfired, and it feels like i have been stabbed. But people are good overall, and that's helped me deal with things. What is the point of doing anything if you are alone. I can't help them like this though. Not the way I am now...but maybe the way I was 7 years ago...But what did he mean by attacking a friend...no...he wouldn't...Then it looks like I have to go back to them anyways. X was determined now, of what he could do. Of what X could do.

"But now the only question is...how do I get out?" Then he remembered what he used 7 years ago to move from place to place. And so X took out his knife and cut himself. He did not bleed, but looked into the cut and then dissappeared.

[Bayonetta]

Neni had given the message to Maia and Maia nodded. Maia then looked at Ekin and Ekin looked right back at her. Ekin then got serious and remembered some business he had to take care of.

"I gotta get going, I've got business to take care of. I might be gone for a while. So don't get into trouble, and Neni..just don't let Maia get hurt or else.", he threatened.

Neni stood her ground and smiled as Maia blushed at how Ekin cared for her as much. Ekin kissed Maia on the cheek and then disappeared in gold mist. Maia smiled and Neni rolled her eyes.

"Lovebirds.", she teased.

"Hey! So what if we are..he's awfully handsome and I'm just..irresistable..And it's funny how I didn't need my succubus form to get him.", she said.

Maia laughed and had her hand on her lips as she softly laughed. Neni giggled along with her as they both began walking away from the dojo.

"So, you really like him, eh? You two don't seem like the cutest couple. And are so sure about this? He's evil and you're....well...a good girl.", she explained.

Maia smiled and nodded her head and shrugged her shoulders.

"So? I think he likes me regardless. Is Genesis okay? That's snap was kinda..unexpected.", she asked worried.

"Oh, don't worry. He's fine. He's probably still searching for the rest of our crew.", she answered.

Maia smiled and nodded in agreement. They continued to walk towards the HQ.

[Snake, Veronica, everyone else, Fox]

Snake was watching the battle very carefully, wakeing Veronica up. "Hey, you get up! Your missing the best part!...look out snicket!" Veronica shook herself up, and her eyes quickly shifted to the giant television screen. as the two were watching in the distant table in the room, the one snake usually sits at, Star fox walked over to them. "Hey, Uh Snake..." Fox said.
"Fox...' Snake said. "What brings you here?"

While everyone else was waiting for LGNs sip to be repaired, Geo and Kin wanderd oto catch up on tings, like how they coped with being trapped in such a place for 7 years. " So yea, thats how i ended up here, and lookinglike this" kin said as he looked at hooden hands. "well, at least youdont look like a grizzly bear" Geo said, as they boh laughed...but in a matter of seonds the laughter went into a serious tone. "I can feel that, you can too right?" Kin said. "of course I can" Geo Said. "I dont like it."

Crehavos was sitting on his throne, his eyes closed, thinking about what to do next, untill...
"Crehavos!" Eil Kin barged into his throne room. "I need To Have word with you."

[Naked Snake II]

Geo and his deku friend Kin stopped dead at their tracks as the two tried scouting the area for the source of that bad energy.

As his eyes were lurking around, he yelled to his friend:

GEO: You see it?

KIN: No..I got nothing..You?

GEO: No..

They both continued to look around on high alert. Suddenly Geo senced something really fast coming towards Kin. His eyes widen quickly.

GEO: KIN!

He sprinted to Kin and tackled him to off his feet. Suddenly the ground under where Kin was erupted in a volcano of sand. Kin got up to see the sand subside.

KIN: Where the hell did that come from?

Off to the distance they heard someone laughing uncontrollably..They couldn't see them however.

KIN: Show yourself!!!

Kin suddenly sensed something quick coming towards him.. He strafted quick to his right as a quick blast of energy blew up the sand under him.

GEO: Where the hell is that coming from?

[ Genesis, Reynal, Oakley, Jonas, Abdol ]

Genesis and the crew are finally inside the forest as they walk the path of the depths.

Genesis started to roll his eyes and then went bored.


Genesis:"Oh please, that rumor was probably to scare adventurers."

Abdol:"Then if that's the case then they must be protecting something here."

Reynal:"If I wanted to I can burn this whole forest down with my bare hands, but then that would make things even more boring then it is now."

Oakley:"A forest fire huh, that would be pretty fun."

Jonas:"Oh my god, my BOREDOM is starting to rise up again."


Everyone Ignored Jonas's complaining.


Jonas:"Hey don't you guys even care?!!"

Everyone but Jonas:"No."

Jonas:"Wha...but...uh....I hate you guys."


Suddenly Jonas heard the bushes shaking.

Jonas:"Not that you bastard, I heard bushes moving."

Genesis:"Ummm, not really dude."

Reynal:"Nope."

Abdol:"Its your boredom Jonas, I think its messing with your head."

Jonas:"You guyz are so....."


The bushes started shaking again.


Genesis:"Okay, now I heard that."

Oakley:"Hmmm."

Abdol:"Alright, where is it coming from?"

Reynal:"Heh, right here!"


Reynal spreaded both his hands apart and started to shoot fire blasts at his left and right. Four scary looking wolves then jumped out of the bushes and surrounded the crew.

Genesis:"Well well what do we have here?"

Oakley:"Wolves, they must've followed us, not suprising they found us."

Reynal:"I believe these things don't know who we are, Jonas, get this over with already."

Jonas:"Right, Thunder Wave!"


Jonas spreaded waves of thunder at the four wolves, thereby paralyzing each of them.


Reynal:"Abdol."

Abdol:"Say no more, Dark Hole."


Abdol reached out his right arm straight and then suddenly his hand started to fill with darkness. A black hole appeared under each of the wolves feet, and then shadow looking hands came out of the holes and grabbed on each of the wolves. The wolves struggled but couldn't move an inch and they were sucked in the hole.


Genesis:" ( Their powers has increased since our last encounter...damn. )"

Reynal:"Good work you two, now lets move on."


The team continued to walk down the path.

[Dobs]

[Dobs, Geo, Kin, Samus, IOY, Alex, Alice, LGN, Peram]
{Tartarus Desert}

Dobs watched as Geo and Kin walked out into the desert. He saw puffs of sand shooting from the ground and shouted, "Great! Wonder off in to the desert when we're ABOUT to get home! Perfectly logical...idiots..."

Dobs began to walk towards Samus' gunship, muttering curses under his breath which could not be heard over the rattling of his deku body. Alice looked at the sad scrub, apparently trying to hear what he had to say to himself.

"Samus, could i help repair the ship?" Dobs asked, eager to get out of this dimension so that he may be healed.
"Well, do you have thumbs?" asked Samus in return.
Dobs looked down to find that his hands were now wooden stubs, "No."
"Then no."

Dobs stumbled his way into the cockpit of the gunship and reached for its radio. But alas, his stubby nub arms couldn't reach the radio, nor could they turn its dials and push the proper buttons once he reached it. Growing steadily more frustrated, Dobs hobbled over to entry hatch and lowered himself to floor yet again.

"Can someone help me with this, for f*ck's sake?" the small Deku attracted little attention, however, Alice giggled and walked over.
"What do you need little guy?" asked Alice kindly.
Dobs' eye twitched a bit as he spoke as sofly as he could, "I need to use the radio inside, can you help me?"
"Why can't you do that yourself?" she inquired.

Dobs held up his nubby arms and Alice followed him inside, clearly enjoying his suffering.

"Push the one that says voice command."
"This one?"
"Yup"

Alice pushed a small green buttton that lit after she touched it. A female voice on the ship's intercom spoke, "Please say a command."

Dobs spoke loudly and clearly, "Call Eiron, Planet Aether."
"Did you say, call. Eye Rin?"
"No." Dobs responded.
"Did you say; call. Hey Ron?"
"No," the shrub responded becoming frustrated.
"Did you say; call. Eiron?"
"Yes?" he had given up hope.
"Calling..."

{Great Temple, Aether}

U-Mos drew his blade and cut down the creature before him in one graceful motion. The black mass of spindly dagger-like legs and seething red eyes screamed and fell, writhing in agony before dissolving into thick balck ooze. A second creature flung itself from the ceiling towards the ancient Luminoth warrior, who gracefully spun and cut the beast clean in half.

The Ing. The Terror. The monstrous creatures of darkness had returned to Aether. The peace and prosperity that U-Mos had ushered in after their supposed extermination was being torn to shreds around them. Eiron had come to Aether to study the spiritual arts that the Luminoth excelled in. He had enjoyed the quiet meditation and the combat training with the Luminoth warriors. But now the fighting was real, the stakes life and death.

U-Mos turned to his human companion. "That is the last of them here in the inner sanctum. We must join our comrades in securing the Temple gates." Even as he spoke Eiron could here the roar of hundreds of Warrior Ing as they swarmed towards the Great Temple.
Suddenly, a Luminoth by the name of K-Vla burst into the room, sporting several gashes in her side. "U-Mos! We are recieving a transmission from Samus Aran's gunship!"
U-Mos whipped around towards the new Luminoth. "What!? Samus? Is she coming to assist us?"
K-Vla paused. "No...its...its for him." She pointed to Eiron. Eiron blinked. U-Mos and K-Vla stared at him. He couldn't think of anything to say, so he just blinked again.
"Well," said U-Mos "Aren't you going to answer?" With that, he and K-Vla rushed out to join the other warriors.

Eiron dashed over to the communication console and turned on the holographic dislpay. "Hello?"
The image of a Deku Shrub standing on a crate flickered into being.
"Eiron!" It squeeked. "Eiron, its me! Dobs!"
"D...Dobs?" Eiron repeated, utterly nonplussed.
"I've been turned into a Deku Shrub! I need you to change me back!" Eiron briefly wondered if someone had spiked his food with something.
"Um, sure, I'll um...look, it'll have to wait, I'm kind of-"
"DO YOU KNOW HOW TERRIBLE IT IS BEING A DEKU SHRUB EIRON!?" Dobs yelled. He thrust his stubby little arms over his head. "THUMBS!" he yelled, "I DON'T HAVE THEM! I HAVE TO STAND ON A BOX TO BE TALL ENOUGH TO FIT IN THE HOLOGRAM!" He wobbled precariously, then toppled off the box. Eiron heard a crashing noise and a severe fit of giggling on the other side of the line.
"Ok Dobs," he said, trying to think straight. "I'll help you out if you help me."

[Dobs]

[Dobs, Geo, Kin, Samus, IOY, Alex, Alice, LGN, Peram]
{Tartarus Desert}

"I'll help you out if you help me."
"Ok, how can my feeble wooden body be of service?" asked Dobs.

Eiron didn't say anything at first, but the hologram Dobs was speaking to changed images to show a fierce battle between two species of Aliens which he had never seen before.

"So, I'm guessing the black tenticly ones are bad, right?" asked Dobs.
"Right," said Eiron flatly, "Can you and your friends help?"
"Give me 30 seconds, then bring me over."
"Done."

Dobs leaned forward, reaching for the button that would end the transmission, but he over extended his reach and fell from the cardboard box he was perched upon straight onto the floor, landing with a thud. Alice didn't try to hold in her laughter this time, and began to roll on the floor doing so. Rofling, if you will.

Dobs hobbled outside of the craft and called out to his party.
"There is an Alien fight going on right now, who wants to come!?"

Several of the party members walked over and gathered around the now wooden space warrior. The began to ask questions; none of which Dobs answered.

Samus called out to her friend, "I have to stay here to give Geo and Kin a ride back to HQ, just meet us there in one piece, ok?"

Before Dobs could answer, what appeared to be a whirlwind appeared around the feet of the gathered few. The sand was kicked up and created a cloud of smoke around them, spinning more and more rapidly each moment. Then, as quickly as the freak occurrence began, the sand began to settle. However, there were no longer any SSS members standing on the desert floor.

[Eiron, Dobs, LGN, Peram, Alex, Alice, and maybe IOY]
{Great Temple, Aether}

Eiron swatted the sand off his clothing, annoyed. The whirlwind slowly weakened and died, leaving behind a large deposit of sand a small group of windswept looking people that Eiron did not recognize. He did not see Dobs until he poked his head out from under the pile of sand.

The only girl in the group snickered and yanked him out. Sprinkling sand all over the floor as he went, Dobs waddled over to Eiron and stared pitifully up at him.

"Help please."
Eiron eyed his companion, a huge ear-to-ear grin spreading over his face.

"Dobs? That can't be you. The real Dobs is much goofier looking, and wouldn't be foolish enough to get turned into a Deku Shrub.
Dobs looked like he was about to explode in fury, but Eiron passed his hand over his head, and Dobs slowly morphed back into his original form.

Dobs stretched, looked happily at his thumbs, and turned to Eiron, smiling.
"Thanks. You bastard. Now what have you gotten us into?"

A piercing screech echoed through the temple, causing everyone to cringe and cover their ears.

"That."

[Nowhere (Literally)]

OOC: Wait, is Dobs and the gang in Tartarus, or Aether? I'm so confused


Steele floated there. He spoke, but he could not hear himself. There was nothing. Oddly enough, he could still breath, but he wasn't breathing. He wasn't breathing but not sufficating. He tought to himself Where am I? He looked into nothingness Am I in the Tartarus? No, I haven't been punished........ yet.........

I must have successfully created my dimension and sealied in within my cape. He felt the back of his cape, and it was the same as it ever was. It must respond to my energy. I can use it by flushing some of my energy into it. As he thought with his mind, his mind began to wander to the SSS. His old alliance, and his old friends.

He thought about LGN, and what was his drive back then. Why did he jump out of MMs shi[ when he did? Why did he want to help LGN? What would LGN say to him now? He remembered that the time he saw LGN was when he commited suicide. LGN was truley his first friend at the SSS, and on the battlefield. Steele knew that LGN had been wandering, but what became of him? Where is he now?

He wanted to get back to Earth, but how? What was that dimension called? He decided to simply get back to his dimension. He flicked open his cape and gave it a jolt of energy. Suddently, the cape looked like the night sky itself was inside of it (OOC: Like Count Blecks cape). He wrappped himself in the cape and vanished.

((OOC: Steele, everyone but Kin, Geo, and Samus is now on Aether. We're basically killing time waiting for Kin and Geo to finish up/ helping Eiron into the RP))

Dobs stretched his arms and jumped up and down on his toes. Finally, he was back in his own body, in his own power suit, with his own THUMBS.

"Ok, so I hear the tentacly things... but I don't see them anywhere." Dobs pondered to himself.

As if on queue with Dobs' ponderings, the floor beneath him began to bubble and become what looked like a purple cloud. Out of this strange portal, a dark purple tentacle reached for Dobs' left foot. "Balls," the bounty hunter was pulled through the floor and entered the portal beneath his feet. Immediately upon entering this strange portal, he began falling from another which had fallen from the Great Temple's ceiling. He fell to the floor with a resounding thud.

"I suppose thats what I get for pondering on the battlefield..." Dobs rubbed the back of his head and stood up slowly, slightly dizzy from his hard landing. He reached for his sais and grasped them firmly. "God, I've missed you..."

The party as well as their Luminoth companions stood in a circle in the center of the temple as a plethora of similar portals began to open around the room's perimeter.

[Crehavos, Evil Kin]
[Fallen Angel Castle]

"Crehavos! I need to have a word with you!"

The meditating Dark Emperor was seated in his throne, conflicted with mental anguish, when he heard his obnoxiously loud serpentine commander enter his domain.

"What is it?" Crehavos growled, opening one eye to acknowledge Evil Kin.

The former tyrant stood before the universal overlord, eyes fixated on Crehavos' dead ones. Arms folded, he began with, "I'm taking a leave of absence, personal issues."

Crehavos now had both eyes exposed, a hint of buried annoyance within them. "Exactly what makes you think I will allow such an intermission?"

Evil Kin smirked, malice clearly written all over his face. "Because my O' powerful master, I have worked tirelessly for the last seven years on your behalf. I deserve at least a short time away from your bidding, it wouldn't be very long either; around a week at the most."

The demon tyrant looked troubled, he was really having a hard time with letting his top commander go in this urgent time...

"A week at the most, you say?" Crehavos asked, eyes fluttering shut once more.

"Yeah, that's it." Evil Kin replied.

Crehavos sat silently for a few minutes, and Evil Kin was beginning to grow a bit anxious.

"There are important events that draw near... and I want you available as much as I can have you. However... I suppose one week won't do any harm. If I need you, though, I expect you to come as soon as you are called." Crehavos stated.

"Will do." Evil Kin said as he disappeared into the darkness of the room. And there sat Crehavos once more, alone... and trouble.

[Bob Snicket, Link]
[SSS Bus]

The writer was still unsettled even after his seemingly apparant victory. Link was not that easily defeated, that he knew for certain.

"Link, come out! I know you're still here!" Snicket called out, body trembling out of fatigue.

As if on cue, a dark malevolent laughter began to echo throughout their surroundings, and a leathal darkness began to cover the Earth like a heavy blanket. "Very clever, human, but cleverness only gets you so far." Oddly enough, Link materialized out of the darkness, and his once aqua eyes of purity were now entirely luminating blood red and filled with sin.

Snicket was now convinced, this was not Link at all. He had previous clues, but nothing too certain. Oh he knew who this was, tales were told of him by the real Link long ago...

"Reveal yourself, Dark Link." Snicket commanded.

This doppleganger Link snickered, his illusion coloring of skin and clothing dripping off him like acidic water; the false coloring melting through the metal floor of the bus. The illusion of Link was gone, and now a dark figure appearing as the noble hero was all that remained.

"So, my identity is at last revealed. Took you all long enough, 7 whole years I wore that dreadful disguise. It's so good to be out in the open again!" Dark Link bragged.

Snicket's face contorted into a look of rage. "What in the world is going on?! Where is Link, why are you in his place, you fiend?!" the writer barked.

Link's dark side seemed to be enjoying himself to his fullest, "Sure I'll tell you, since you won't live to pass this information on to anyone else." Dark Link started. "7 years ago, my creator Ganon found me once more cast away in his Dark World. Deciding that I could be of some use, he brought me to the overlord of this world; the one they call Crehavos."

"I see... I figured he was behind this as well." Snicket murmured.

Ignoring this, Dark Link continued. "The Dark Emperor thought of this wonderous plan to have me replace my goody-goody counterpart while my master found a way to disarm the Niluck Stone of the SSS HQ. The good Link has been sealed in the dungeons of Fallen Angel Castle for nearly a decade now, hope drained of the once noble warrior. In turn, I was required to pit the SSS members against one another to create conflict and drive them apart."

The writer merely shook his head at this all, "Destroying the enemy from the inside... that crafty demon is something else."

"Indeed. Crehavos found it best to have the SSS destroy themselves, and his plan has almost succeeded. Once I dispose of you, Earthling, I will have fufilled his desire and will be rewarded handsomely." Dark Link said.

"Well I hate to disappoint you, fiend..." Snicket pointed his hammer straight forth at the dark warrior, "but you're plan will fail."

The dark copycat threw his head back and laughed at the writer, the shrill pitch of it causing Bob to flinch as the sound pierced his tender eardrums.

"Oh Mr. Snicket, you truly are quite the comedian! However... you are blind."

SHINK!

Unseen by the brilliant writer, the doppleganger's dark sword had already sprung to life; flinging itself straight forward through Bob's abdomen. The writer's scarlet blood splashed forth, grazing the dark warrior's face slightly; in which his long tongue stretched out and licked it away. The noble SSS warrior collapsed, his eyes wide with shock and agony. Dark Link slowly walked forward, and was now standing over Snicket; one foot placed on his head.

"Don't you see? The SSS will fall, Bob Snicket, and you can't do anything about it other than lay here, and slowly... die." Dark Link put on hand at the bloody end of his sword that was purging through the writer's back, and brutally yanked the entirely sword through the young man's body; his screams filling Dark Link's lust.

"This match... is over." Dark Link said as he evaporated with the darkness, and the scene evaporated to reveal the various members of the SSS rushing towards their wounded warrior.
