Chapter 3: A New World Order

Nuwa quickly put some energy into her hands and tended to Ness's wounds. Nuwa couldn't heal the damage. It was too much for her too handle. She began to cry. No matter how much she tried to heal him it was useless. Suddenlly her fox spirit Kana appeared. Kana walked up to Nuwa and rubbed against her. "What is it Kana? I'm not in the mood" Kana and her other spirits eyes began to glow. Their spirits fused with Nuwa and she transformed.



Nuwa changed into her HealingMaiden form. She wiped the tears off of her face and attempted to heal Ness again. The wound closed up as fast as it was made. Nuwa was relieved. She turned to Zero and stared at him with a serious look. "If you need help ask me. If you don't hurry up and end nightmare already"

[Maria Valentine, a place in hell (Hot Pursuit)]

Maria turned around the corner and looked at the girl. She smiled with a happy interesting grin. "I didn't underestimate you at all. I just wanted to feel that soothing strong aura of your for as long as I could" . Maria took out her pistol and aimed it Arietta. "Sorry to took keep you. Let's dance" Maria went too long without a decent challange. This girl was gonna fulfill that void in her heart. It will be filled be filled with her agonizing screams and her pathetic pleas for mercy.

She laughed. Her laughter filled the air with echo's. Her face, youthful and sharp, looked pleasantly happy.

She didn't say anything, it was just a chuckle. She clutched her stomach a bit, as if greatly amused by the entire thing. She rarely captured that look, but when she did so it looked positively evil and cocky. She looked up at Maria and made a strange movement with her tongue, as if licking her lips.

She then just stood there, staring into her, not making another movement. A few seconds passed. After a moment. She turned around and walked away. Simply walked away. Nothing said at all. She disregarded the challenge and threat, she didn't even look back.

Maria shadow stepped in front of Arietta. "I don't think you heard me" She put the gun right to her forehead. "You are my prey. Now take your stance before I end your miserable life." If the girl wasn't going to notice her maybe a bullet through the head will. Maria wanted to see if this girl's cockyness was more important than her common sense. "I feel your power and I know how powerful it is. Only A fool wouldn't use it. Don't make me kill you without breaking a sweat.

"That depends on what you mean by 'world,' miss," Bob answered in reply to Ayumi's question. "Every land in this dimension, the Smash Universe, has fallen to Crehavos--every place within his current reach. He has not, as of yet, likely found a way to expand his empire between dimensions, so if she has stayed where you came from, this master of yours is probably fine."

Ayumi seemed relieved by the news.

For the majority of that day they trekked along the barren path, treading across dead grass and dry dirt. The view wasn't much worth seeing: yellowish-brown, rolling plains, sparsely placed trees bare to the branch, and of course the gloomy, red-purple sky, covering the world in an unnatural shadow of sullen darkness. Cyberbite carried Ayumi when she grew tired, and the rest of them trudged on anxiously. The hours seemed to drag by like a turtle pulling a handcart, only slower. The only thing that kept them going through the seemingly perpetual wasteland was the thought of a safe, temperate building with soft, warm beds and soothing, steaming food. For all were hungry, especially Cyberbite, whose appetite had not been satisfied since he hadn't eaten X.

Not that it was particularly cold outside; not the faintest whisp of a breeze blew through the dead shrubbery and bony tree branches. It was neither warm nor cold, but still uncomfortable. Every slightest stir of movement aroused hightened awareness and suspicion within each of the travellers, for in a land such as this, there was no telling what prowled the landscape these days.

The silence was equally discomforting. But no one felt like talking despite of this.

At last, as the reddish-purple of the sky seemed to darken in preparation for nightfall, the famed SSS Headquarters came into view over a hill. Its towering walls ascended into the clouds endlessly; no one knew just how many floors it had. And encompassing the building in a translucent dome of blue, the shield created by the Niluck Stone still glimmered as strong as the day it had been reinstated seven years ago.

"Well, here we are," Snicket said. "Banjo, Kazooie, Cyberbite, Ayumi, welcome to the last safe place in the world."

They saw, however, several figures outside of the shield, a number of large craters, and rapid movement as multiple fights were taking place. And even from here, they could hear some of the commotion.

Bob frowned. "Or maybe not. Looks like we're going to have to hurry to get down and through the barrier safely."

She laughed again. Gun against forehead and she laughed at her. "Honestly, if you think that's going to work on me, your deadly mistaken young one." she said, looking up at her, the appearance of a child, calling this woman young.

She blasted the ground right next to her feet with ice, not close enough to hit her, but enough to make her jump back for a moment. The ice actually was holding up to the heat, and only showed minor signs of the melting of the land itself. She smirked. Her Ice Arrows were no normal ice, she fortified it with the pure magic power and her dark energy.

She looked at this woman. Seriously sometimes she wondered why she was even jealous of full grown natural women. Despite the apparent age of her body, she found it had a certain level of grace that she didn't. Her clothing was also less bulky, and her purple hair was just laughable. But she decided to actually try to explain herself and end this annoying struggle.

"Now, if you will excuse me, I'm really not interested in fighting you. I'm here to see Crehavos, no one else. Bottom line. The more you attempt to fight me, the more I'll just use my magic to evade the fight. Now, if somehow in my travels I'm a little less busy, I promise to entertain you for a while." she said, a little of her cockyness showing agin. She gave her a grin and walked off again, this time making a cute little wave.

[Maria Valentine, Arietta (Somewhere in Hell)]

Maria pointed her gun at the girl once again. "Crehavos? Who the hell was that?". Maria was about to shoot her gun but she decided it wasn't worth it. "If this girl is seeking someone in this hellish place that person must have amazing power." Maria became excited by the thought. She put away her gun and shadow stepped right next to the girl. They walked besides each other. Both of them wasn't enjoying each others company. "I'll follow you so I can meet this Crehavos. He must be very strong if you're looking for him. Besides I'm not going to get your attention until you complete your search." They both started looking at each with cold serious stares. Maria could not understand why this little girl had so much power or why she was this cocky for that matter. She intended to find out though. "If you have any complaints about my company, suck it up and deal with it".

[Hell]

The two women, one tall and full grown and the other looking to be a child, were standing in the middle of Hell's wastelands, completely exposed and had stirred up a few dozen demons lurking nearby. They began approaching the two girls sneakily and very quietly, being cautious to not be noticed. They whispered to each other in their own satanic language, readying themselves to pounce. They said on a 3 count, they would attack.

3... 2... 1...

Immediatly, they jumped from behind the boulders that were hiding their presense, screeching and such as they flew closer to the now acknowledged girls. The girls took their battle positions, ready to attack the fiends, but just then something odd occured. The demons froze in place, not moving, not blinking. They were merely stuck there, unable to anything, but look at one another in confusion. Soon following, there was a stupifying burst of mighty energy just near the girls. The windstorm that arose from it was heavy, having to hold their ground as best they could as to not be blown away in vicious gusts.

It suddenly ceased not long after. The girls opened their eyes and took a look at the source of the energy flare. Tall, silver hair, pale skin. Dark robes, handsome face, and those dreaded reversed black and white eyes.

Lord Crehavos had arrived at the scene.

Glaring at the demons frozen in place, all the demons erupted into violent flames; burning to cinders and landing on the hard, rocky ground. Turning on the spot, the Dark Emperor stood facing the girls with his arms crossed.

"Why are you here in my domain?" Crehavos demanded.

She looked at Crehavos for a moment, and took in his look and his way of speaking and then realized the things she had heard about this man were true. So if everything she heard was true, yes.. this was just the kind of man she was looking for. She wanted someone who could actually change things. Not just sit around and do nothing. She wanted to help this man, truly.

It certainly would be fun compared to her less than dreary life anyway.

She bent down on one leg instantly, she knew what kind of gesture this man would appreciate, and it was very obvious that yes, this was man was stronger than her and by a good deal. She wasn't going to make any idiotic moves to someone so much her superior.

"Oh, lord Crehavos. I come here under no false pretenses, and under no veil of shadow. I could have easily hidden myself better, but I wanted to be found by you. For I have come to offer you my services and skill." she paused for a moment, careful not to boast about her own skill anyway. He could tell how good she was without any help.

She did allow herself a moment, but then stood up and then gave him a smile. "I know you, with your malevolence and wisdom and can tell that my appearance is deceiving and my words ring true. Search my mind, I have not a ounce of distruth in my words or in my heart." she said, and of course this was true.

Maria stared at the man coldly. "So this is Crehavos?" She took out her pistol and pointed it at him. "Well my lord let's see just how powerful you are!!!". Suddenly Maria got a flashback from her childhood. Her master was standing in front of her with his arms crossed. "Why are you in my domain Maria?" Maria started crying. Her face quickly filled up with tears. "I'm sorry master. I was following something interesting I didn't mean to make your angry." Maria then realized who she was talking to. She wiped the tears from her face and put away her pistol. She got down on one knee and bowed. "Forgive my rudeness Lord Crehavos. I also wish to offer my services and skills. I will be a loyal servant. Any mission you have for me will be done swiftly and effectively." Maria could feel his aura pouring out of him. It was amazing. He would surly attract other strong people to him which would give Maria a chance to kill some more people including this cocky betch Arietta.

[SSS HQ]

Rashi had wandered the SSS HQ. So far, her request to see who was incharge was unanswered. She wanted to ask if they wanted the information regarding the battle with Ucria, who almost killed her, and the general direction where she went. Rashi knew not exactly where Ucria was, but she did see her take off. She felt an awkward sense of uneasyness in the SSS HQ. Almost as if she didn't belong there. It seemed that she kept on feeling compelled to leave by an unknown force. She assumed it was the Nulick Stone.

She left the HQ a few hours later, unsure about where to go and what to do now that she had freedom. She retreated to the North to seek some shelter in mountains.

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Arietta, Maria]
[Hell]

There was a gentle wind blowing as the sky began to darken, the Dark Emperor's cape whipping around him in a very subdued manner. Suspiciously glaring at the two women, Crehavos expressed to them his thoughts with his gentle, yet ignoble voice.

"You both seem to have great desire to join my empire, yet you both have selfish dialectics regarding pledged loyalty." The almighty demon stated quite sternly.

Arietta looked hurt by this, and begun with, "My lord, I-"

"Silence" ordered Crehavos. The small girl immediatly fell silent, seeming hurt. Crehavos continued, "I did not say this was untollerable. Most of my commanders either want to have simple protection, or desire something in return. It's not uncommon."

Both of the girls still were on one knee, looking at the ground feeling somewhat nervous with this man. He seemed to be incredibly unpredictable... it was frightening.

"Rise." Crehavos uttered. They rose to a standing point, avoiding looking into his death filled eyes. "You both are very skilled, and I admire your bravery for seeking me out." He paused, looking directly at both of the girls. Maria was crossing her arms, looking away with her nose stuck pointedly in the air. Arietta's head was hung low, and he saw her peeking brief glances at him, then turning away almost immediatly after. Impetuosly, there was a burning sensation on the back of each girls' left hands; a bright ruby red symbol etching itself into their skin.

They both seemed to realize without being told that they were commanding officers in his empire now, and a marvelous sensation of power overcame them. The Dark Emperor then stated, with very dark malice in his very dead eyes, "Do not fail me."

Crehavos faded into the darkness, leaving the girls without uttering another word.

[Crehavos, Evil Kin, Steele, Genesis]
[Outside SSS HQ]

Evil Kin was growing weary of Genesis' antics, snarling at the newbie SSS soilder. Genesis stood there so very smug and cunning, yet the Serphant's scowl immediatly turned into a smirk. "Genesis, your attempts to freeze my soul are useless. Now it's time to get things hotter!" Evil Kin asserted.

"Ha! Whatever you say, my foolish prey." Genesis retorted.

This annoyed Evil Kin, his face contorting into a scowl once again. However, as soon as he verved forth, there was a burst of dark, powerful energy in between the two.

"Look out!" Steele warned, feeling the all too familiar energy of their master arriving. And he was positively correct, and he didn't know whether to be happy or worried.

"Inferior dullard..." Crehavos murmured, holding a hand towards Genesis.

Genesis' eyes widened, and he began saying, "Wait.... you're Creha-"

"Hell Blitz!" Crehavos bellowed. A large spherical blast of red and black energy formed, and viciously shot at the stupified Genesis. There was a yelp of pain, and a explosion over in Genesis' direction, and then Crehavos' eyes shifted towards both Steele and Evil Kin.

"We disparce, gentlemen." Crehavos said coldly.

Evil Kin looked shocked by this notion, "What?! You aren't even going to let us kill this weakling?! I was just getting started!"

Steele felt the boiling rage deep inside that Crehavos' dared not to express, and hasn't for 7 years. He eyed him cautiously, warning Evil Kin, "Dude.... careful...."

Evil Kin looked as though he was going to scream, but shook it off and walked through a portal of Darkness, muttering towards Genesis, "I'll get you yet, you weakling..." Steele eyed the SSS Headquarters and Crehavos one last time before departing as well.

Crehavos' turned towards the bloody mass that was Genesis, barely alive from the brutal attack. He then saw people crowding the SSS HQ inside the barrier. Standing tall, Crehavos stated brutally, "Little by little I will bring you all to your knees.... and you are damned if you think you can stop me."

There was a gust of dark wind that blew over the Hell Lord, and in a matter of seconds had completely vanished.

Hope was running out for the world, and their spirits were now beginning to crack.

[Hell: Arietta, Maria]

She smiled, that was all she needed. She stared at her mark in interest, but then decided she wanted more privacy. Also, she gave Crehavos credit for realizing the things she was doing well not to think of. The fact that she was with him for her own reasons in the very end. She didn't want anything.. but one could say she was with him because she was bored and because it was the side she felt that actually wanted to do something interesting.

"Well, I got what I wanted. His influence helps me quite a deal. I'm just going to go look around now, outside of hell." she paused for a minute, then gave Maria a grin. " I.. am interested in how things are moving and if there is any fun to be had out there. Seeing on how nothing interests me here."

Without warning, she rose in the air. The cape she was wearing molded into a odd shape, more like a ripped up wings. A small cloud of darkness appeared beneath her, and she laughed.

"I'll show Crehavos that, bundling me in power with.. YOU, was a mistake." she said while she continued to laugh, then turning away, she started to slowly fly in the direction leading out of Hell.

[Jax, Sonic, Kirby, Pikachu]
[SSS HQ]

As the battles outside the HQ ragged on, the landscape changed for the more artistic, and a robotic wolf and company stood on a hillside; Jax was unaware of the comotion going on outside.

"Sonc," Jax said, "do you think you are the fastest being in the universe?"

Sonic opened his mouth and began spitting out gobble-de-goop, "OfcourseIamI'mSonictheHedgehogbecauseyou'retooslow!" Sonic rambled, as no one understood a word he said.

"Well whatever you just said doesn't matter," Jax stated, "for you we are going to race and you will lose."

"You, are, on!" Sonic beamed. "Whatisthechallenge?"

"One hundred meter dash," Jax said pointing to the edge of the barrier, "First one too touch it wins; and to make things fair I'll give you a 90 meter head start."

"WahooI'mgonnawineasilypieceofcake!" Sonic gobbled.

"But," Jax said holding the U, "you have to wear these heavy cinderblocks," Jax told lifting two large cinderblocks out of his hoddie's pocket and tying them around Sonic's shoes. "There we go."

"AhIseewhatyadidthere," Sonic acknowledged.

"This shall be a race for the ages," Kirby said in his cute and slightly slired tone.

"Pika," Pikachu questioned, which was along the lines of "Where did Jax get those cinderblocks?"

Sonic had trouble wearing the cinderblocks, and had to be pushed by Kirby and Pikachu to his spot. When they were ready to go Pikachu yelled "Pika, Pika, CHUUU!" (ready set go) and away they went. Jax rocketed out of his spot, while Sonic was still having trouble with the cinderblocks. But wait, Jax shoes were untied, and had too stop. Sonic was still in a pickel. Jax laced his shoes back up, but acidentally tied them together, forcing him to hop! Sonic was now mustering the strength to move his feet, but still slower then molasses. It's going to be close, who knows who will win, I think I'm being so over dramatic I might give away the ending! The two dove for the line, and the winner is: Jax, because if Sonic won he wouldn't keep his mouth shut.

As Jax did a victory dance he spotted what was actually going on. Craters, super human fights, a mechanical wolf, a doll, a bird in a backpack, a 2-D figure and Bob Snicket! This was incredible, never had such a thing happened since 1699. Jax told Kirby and Pikachu to sound the alarm; there were refugees in need of assistance. Jax dashed out of the shield, the last thing protecting him from the outside world. As swift as a shadow Jax leaped from deseased tree to its counterpart with ease. To his luck, it seemed the demons and devils roaming the area were gone, but not for long. The others saw him coming from a far, and wondered if he was friend or foe.

"Psst," Jax whispered. "Pardon my impoliteness and randomomosity but let me ask; who are you?" Jax questioned. "I mean, you don't come across a mechanical wolf, a doll, a bird in a backpack, a two demensional figure and a man with a sweet cape everyday now; considering everyone is enslaved by Crehavos. But again, excuse my boldness, but it appears that you guys are heading to the SSS HQ, I'm gonna make sure you guys make it back. After all, one of you may hold the key to our survival."

The six gazed at Jax, some with friendly smiles, others with bewildered and uneasy glances. As for Kazzoie, he was on the verge of cracking a joke, but to her dismay this part of the post ended before she could tell it.

[Karocka, Maia/Miya, Neni]
{Forest outside HQ}

Karocka braced for impact when the tornado hit, thus sucking him in. He spun round and round, like a top that wouldn't stop. This however was part of his plan. Karocka soon began to blend into the background before Maia and Neni's eyes.

"Now you see me," Karocka said just before he disapeared, "now you don't."

[Barren Path: Snicket, Game & Watch, Banjo & Kazooie, Cyberbite, Ayumi, Jax]

"Well, if one of us holds the key to your survival, it's certainly not the furry dumbo who's carrying me," Kazooie snorted as soon as she could continue with the part.

Banjo rolled his eyes. "Thanks for your input as always, Kazooie."

Snicket spoke to the similarly-aged boy in a red T-shirt and baggy gray shorts. "So, you are offering to help us get back safely?" He glanced behind Jax toward the headquarters. "Well, that would be much appreciated. What's your name, may I ask?"

Jax, however, had already spaced off. He shook his head out of his daze. "Wha? I'd like turkey on my sandwich."

Bob and the others exchanged wondering glances, but he shrugged. "It seems the main threats have left, but there may still be a couple demons lingering around, so let's be off."

*One slightly hazardous journey to the HQ later*

Jax worked his way through the complicated E. Gadd security system at the front entrance of the building for at least a minute. At last, a number of clicks and beeps indicated that they were free to enter. As Jax opened the door, Cyberbite and Ayumi were cautious, Banjo tentative, and Snicket and Game & Watch anxious.

"Someone's insecure," Kazooie muttered.

Jax, however, had heard the breegull's wisecrack, and turned to respond to the red bird's comment. "And for good reason. We have maintained the only haven outside of Crehavos's rule in the entire Smash Universe during his reign."

"And how long has that been?" Bob asked apprehensively, fearing the answer. "It has been a week to me and Game & Watch since we left for the Dark World."

"A week? Boy, are you off," Jax said. "Crehavos has been Emperor for no less than seven years. Seven long, dreadful years..."

Snicket grew rigid, and dropped into a nearby chair in bewilderment and utter shock. He couldn't believe it. "How...how could this have happened? All this time, you and the rest have been isolated here, and have grown, but I have not aged at all--" He stopped midspeech as he realized that there was proof he had already overlooked. "Snake. That's why his beard became gray, and he looked aged...because of the time passing in his world. But still..." He closed his eyes, trying not to imagine the heavy implications of this news. "So much pain and death in the beginning...but now...people have continued to suffer, while I was chasing Veronica around a beach and eating black sausages..."

While Snicket was taking in the revelation of time passage, Jax turned to the rest. "You two," he said, addressing Cyberbite and Ayumi, "you must be new. But I trust you, because you obviously have no bad intentions since you made it through the barrier. Go ahead and have a look around if you want." He turned his gaze to Banjo & Kazooie. "Hey, bear...do me a favor, will you? Put a muzzle on that thing's beak. We could all do without his witty cracks; this is not a time in the world to be making jokes."

Mr. Game & Watch went up beside Bob in concern. "What's past is past, Sni-cket. Do not blame your-self for what has hap-pened. Noth-ing an-y of us could have done would have pre-vent-ed this world's fall to Cre-hav-os. In fact, if not for us, this place would be de-stroyed too. So now is the time to take what we've got-ten, and pre-pare to move for-ward. I am sure Yo-shi, for one, will be glad to see you back."

The Brawler's words lifted the boy's spirits. He looked at the 2-D silhouette with a grateful smile. "Thanks, my friend. You're right. Moping and self-pity will get us nowhere. It's time...to make a plan."

[The King Of Darkness]

[Desert of End]
[Ness, Nuwa, Nightmare, Zero]

Zero rushed in at full speed and unleashed a devastating blow right to Nightmare's face so hard it sent him for a loop.

Nightmare: GUHH!!!! UGHHH!!!

Zero warped about at top speed mercilessly unloading his rage on Nightmare. He tried to block and dodge but Zero was FAR too powerful for Nightmare now. Zero gave a hard kick to NM's gut and then unleashed a hard right sending NM flying back. Zero brought forward his hand and aimed at NM as he charged up. He fired a small but powerful ball of energy.

Zero: GALACTIC GRENADE!!!

It went off on NM like a bomb. Nightmare was blown to bits as he was covered in smoke from the blast. Zero gave no rest. He unleashed a storm of energy blasts on NM. The smoke became wider and wider as more blasts hit NM. The smoke cleared and NM was in bits but reformed. NM was getting annoyed. NM charged with a fury of attacks all of which were dodged by Zero. With every missed attack NM was getting madder.Finally he landed a hard Blow right to Zeros face. Zero turned to Nightmare completely unaffected.

Zero: Is that all you got?

Zero punched Nightmare so hard in the chest he coughed up blood. Zero sent NM flying as he warped about volleying NM about. NM was slammed right into the ground. Zero once again charged up for another huge blast attack. NM's eyes glowed red out of desperation as Zero fired a energy beam at NM. NM shot a huge energy beam at Zero's beam blasting it away. NM had now had enough. Zero looked at Nightmare and laughed.

Zero: What's wrong Nightmare? Are you finally regreting what you have done. You're scare because you know that im more powerful then you in every way now. You know you dont stand a chance and that i'll be the one to put an end to you ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Nightmare: NO!! I WONT BE BEATEN!! ILL KILL YOU IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!!!!

NM warped into the sky and raised his hand in the air. He started to build his energy into on colossal Ball of energy. The sky darkened as the ball of dark energy got bigger and big.

NM: THIS IS THE END OF YOU AND THIS PITIFUL LAND!!! DIE!!!!!

He sent the massive ball of energy down towards Zero. Nuwa and Ness looked on in horror at what could be their end. Zero charged up his energy. He brought his hands together and brought them back to his side. His hands started to build up a massive amount of energy before he pushed his hand forward.

Zero: ZERO BEAM!!!!!!!

He shot out a massive beam of energy at NM's dark ball. The to collided as both attacks began to push. Zero put even more of his energy into the beam. NM's Ball of dark energy was now being pushed back. Zero's attack was now overpowering as it pushed the dark ball and Zero beam right into NM. The sky lite up bright as day from the explosion. the whole desert shook as sandstorms were created. Zero was sure it was over... He was short of breath.

Zero: (pant pant..) its..finally over..

As the smoke cleared Zero sensed Nightmare was still alive as he began to reform. Nightmare reformed but wasn't the same. His eyes were blank as they grew red. The darkness withing Nightmare began to power him as he started to power up even further. His aura flooded from his body as his muscles began to expand. Nightmare had now become even stronger then before.

Nightmare: THIS ONE ISNT OVER YET! MWAH HA HAAA NOW YOU DIE!!!!

Zero: GRRRRRRR!!!!

Meanwhile back where Nuwa and Ness were, Ness was finally starting to recover as he stood up.

Ness: What happened?

Nuwa: You were almost killed by Nightmare. Zero saw this and went berserk on him. If i hadn't of healed you, you would be dead.

Ness: Thanks Nuwa, Your such a good friend.

Back at the fight NM and Zero exchanged a series of blows but this time they seemed to be evenly matched. Zero kept unleashing a fury of attacks on Nightmare as he screamed...

Zero: YOU KILLED MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY YOU MONSTER!!!!

NM blocked Zero's oncoming punches and Laughed.

Nightmare: Oh... So you dont like when i kill your friends and family huh? Well then... lets see how you like THIS!!!!!! GUUUUHHHHHHHHAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Nightmare's body began to bulk up as his energy increased. He began to gag as something started to come up his throat. He spit out onto the ground 7 miniature versions of himself know as Nightmare Jr. They all glared at Zero and laugh in a higher pitched voice then NM's.

Nightmare: Now my dear children. You see those two over there? They are your enemies. Give them pain... Kill them if it makes you happy.

Zero's eyes widened.

Nightmare: Hop to it!!!!

Zero: OH NO YOU DON'T!!!!

Zero charged at the Nightmare Juniors as they began to take off. Nightmare thinking fast attacked.

Nightmare: BLACK NIGHTMARE!!!!!!

Zero's vision started to become all wavy and distorted. He was now hallucinating he was seeing Multiples of Nightmare. The Nightmare's all attacked. Zero was off guard as he took a kicked right to the back followed by several painful blows. This gave the Nightmare Juniors the chance to fly of towards Nuwa and Ness. They all laughed with a screeching like voice.

Nightmare Juniors: AH HAA HAA HAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAAAA!!!!!

Nuwa: INCOMING!!

Ness: GRRR!!! CMON!!

Nightmare laughed.

Nightmare: Just try...They may be small, but they've inherited my fighting power!!

Nightmare Blocked A fist from Zero as the Nightmare Juniors flew closer to Nuwa and Ness.

Ness was still hurt from his earlier injury but tried to play it off like he wasn't hurt at all. the Nightmare Juniors surrounded Nuwa and Ness. One Nightmare Junior pointed at them and laughed while another stuck its tongue out at them in a mocking fashion.

Ness: We're surrounded.

Nuwa: I know. Look's like there's gonna be a fight alright.

They all charged in. Ness tried throwing some punches at a few of them but was out numbered and smacked to the ground. Nuwa was also doing her best to fend them off but to no avail.
