Chapter 6: Peace?

“Everyone come to HQ NOW! CHAA!” was the message heard by all of the members of the SSS.
“That’s gotta be him,” smashbro said to himself, and he went to the HQ. Everyone was already there, and the room had split into the forumers and brawlers on their side, and the brawlers. Then, the person who sent the message stepped out in between the two groups.

“CHAA! EVERYONE LISTEN!” said Sakurai, brandishing his Wii Remote.
“Where have you been?” Kin asked.
“ON MY OWN WHY YOU NO USE FINAL SMASH!” Sakurai replied. “I have announcement! Brawl will not be released until 2009!!!” Everyone looked confused at this, until smashbro said,
“Dude, it’s already been out for like, 3 months now.”
“Oh,” replied Sakurai, a little downtrodden. He had always looked forward to giving those announcements.

“Why are you still here?” Link asked smashbro. “You betrayed us, you should be out.”
“What are you talking about?” smashbro replied.
“You joined the SIE for a while!” replied smashbro.
“You were about to grab me! You shot your clawshot, pulled you in, and grabbed you@”
“You admit it! You grabbed me!”
“You were about to do the same thing!”
“N…No, of course I wasn’t. I was going to stop you from joining them.”
“I only joined them so that it would be easier for you guys to defeat them.”
“But you became the enemy and put us in danger!”
“I put myself in danger, I was the one who got closet to them, and could have died if they found out!”
“But they almost killed us all!”
“I wouldn’t have let that happen!”
“We can’t trust you!” All of the brawlers (on his side) agreed.

“CHAA!” yelled Sakurai, stepping between the two, who were now screaming at each other, less than a foot apart. “I……………………………………..have idea. We hold tournament…between Brawer and Forumer with Brawer who like Forumer….and winner decides if Forumer stay! Sound good?” They both looked back to their groups.
“Sure,” they both said, and with that, the tournament was set. It would begin in a few weeks, and until then, everyone had some free time.

“What’s up with the Dialga Palika thing?” smashbro asked Mewtwo.
“It is fine for now, everything is being taken care of,” he replied. “The pokemon will see to it that nothing mixes between the worlds. And with that taken care of, smashbro went to take his break, back home.

He once again appeared at the park and walked home. This time there were more basketball players, gossiping girls, and you children playing then the other times he returned home. It felt a little creepy, though, that the same groups were always present when he returned.

Smashbro lay down on his bed, and thought about all that had happened to him. He felt pissed off at himself for what had happened, and felt it could have been avoided if he had not made a simple mistake, that he actually never saw happening. But he thought that everyone would forgive him. They were cool like that there. So for now, smashbro would rest


OOC: this part can include what your character does in that time. I have 1 more post for smashbro, and when I post that I will make an announcement for everyone to sign up for rp4, don’t message me before that. I just want to see how many people will be in it.

[Naked Snake II]

Geo, Roy, IownedYou, Ike, and Marth took off in the speed bikes heading towards Delfino. Eventually they arrived and saw the hot and cool area.

ROY: There it is guys. Delfino

GEO: Ah..Long last, were here.

They park the bikes at a shop. And looked around to see what to do first.

ROY: I wanna train

IKE: I wanna check out the ladies

MARTH: I wanna......go shopping

GEO: I don't care what we do. So it's up to you IownedYou

" Hmmm.... I technically don't want to train yet. But I'll just walk around delfino and do stuff", so thats what they did. They walked around looking at stuff. Stopping to look at certain things they wanted. Then after an hour they went back. " Okay, I'll train now"

Zel, Ian ,and Brooke climbed into the Outlander and flew off. They then went to church were Zel and Brooke were married and left with Ian to have a great time. Though Zel was at his happiest he couldnt help but miss his new friends of SSS. Little did they know they would soon meet up with thenm for another crazy quest.

Snicket peered inside through the front door to see the room's occupants split into two sides, and Sakurai proposing a tournament. He appeared to be done speaking, and Bob knew that, if he was ever to do what must be done, now was the time, before everyone left. After all, Smashbro and Geo were already gone. So, taking a deep breath, and preparing himself for any unpleasant reactions (particularly from Dobs), he pushed through the door and simply stood there, while outside the sun was beginning to set and a light drizzle of rain began.

Steele stood there and saw Snicket open the doors. He glared at him with a puzzled look on his face. Snicket wasn't really paying attention to him, Snicket was really looking at Dobs

Steele:..................This just got very interesting.......................The Order's search is over.............

[Cell]

Crehavos was on a dock right by a large cruise ship. His boat was having engine problems so he'd have to take a regular cruise ship. Crehavos was a little bitter about this, but he was so happy he'd finally have a break from all of this trouble that's been happening lately.

The crew members let down the stairs for the people to get in. The Hell Lord threw his luggage at a couple of them and said, "Carry those to my room."

He followed the crew members to his room and they gave him the key. He opened the door to find a colossal sized room all for him. It was as luxurous as can be and it had a very comfartable looking bed. At last some SLEEP! The crew people with Crehavos's luggage put it down and bowed to him, leaving the Hell Lord alone.

Crehavos jumped onto his bed and almost immediatly fell asleep.

[Big Boss]

Kin sat down with Snake, Mewtwo and Lucario and all discussed where they should go.

Kin: well snicket just joined the party...he seems sort of in the wrong place dont ya think?

Mewtwo: he has fulfilled his quest to arceus I presume, I can feel his waveleingth as the same with Arceus. This is good news for me.

Kin: Snicket is one of those guys that will steal the show sometimes, but who am I to complain my job is to save the world, along with you others. its pretty crazy dont ya think snake?

Snake: huh? oh yea...saving the world...most fun i ever have...If you ask me I would rather worry about regular issues and not have to worry about the big picture.

Lucario: Well, now that The great battle has been over, the two brothers of destruction are dead, now what should we do?

Kin: Oh, yea I forgot to tell you about the brothers, even though I wasnt there I knew what happened. Remember Evil Kin?

Mewtwo: The one with red and black hair that looked like you at Mt. Coronet...

Lucario: yea, I remember him...he was very optimistic about everything...

Snake: I couldint trust him if you ask me...

Kin: then again snake..you dont trust many here...save a few people, But anyway evil Kin Gave his Life and soul to save the world...and to think that not so long ago He was the one trying to destroy us....but he has paid his debt to the world and Kotaro...

Lucario: really?...thats tragedy at its highest.

Snake: sounds Like someone my father used to know...The Boss

Kin: Is this going to start a 15 minute cut scene?

Snake: aww come on...I mean..no.

Kin: anyway, I hear geo went to delfino with Marth Ike and roy...it sounds like there having a good time...

Snake: well geo dose hang around with those guys alot..sounds like what we have.

Mewtwo: your right, im normally not to thrilled to be around a group of people, but I feel fine with you all.

Lucario: where ever you go master..I will follow.

Kin: well...I say we take a break too, and we should go somewhere nice..say the land known as Skyworld...ill drive the falcon flyer!

Snake: you still have that thing?...arent you going to give it back to captian falcon?

Kin: if he remembers. lets wait till snicket dose something, then we will go.

Nhalini had been in the battle in Subspace for wuite some time when she finnally teleported back to the SSS HQ. There, she waited for Dobs. Any moment now..... she thought in anticipation.

((OOC: Honestly, i lost track of where i am at this point, i'm just showing up at HQ))

After listening to Sakurai's speech, Dobs became very excited. Good, this tournament should keep things simpe for once... He turned his attention to the particularly large front door of SSS HQ as he prepared to leave to board his ship.

Then, Dobs caught the eye of a familiar face... it had cerulean blue eyes and brown hair... the figure was clad in a long brown coat and had just stepped in from the rain.

"You..." Dobs walked calmly, but quickly towards the notorious Bob Snicket. "It is your fault...you killed her." Dobs looked towards the floor for a moment but immedietly re-fixed his gaze on Snicket's eyes,

"Its about time that you've payed for your actions, Snicket. Once and for all..." Dobs held a sai in his right hand and pushed the cloaked figure to the wall with his left. He held the shimmering weapon's point to Snicket's neck as the rain fell upon his head. "Do you have anything to say in your defense? Any reason why I shouldn't kill you right now?"

Nhalini watched these events from a distance,her glance never fading from Dobs...

OOC: It's raining inside? And, not to be picky (actually yes, to be picky), the cloak is actually black.

Everyone else in the room did not move, only watching in silence.

Her? Bob thought as his life was on the peak of the mountain, prone to tip either way by Dobs's will. I didn't kill any--oh, crap...

Snicket looked Dobs directly in the eye silently for several seconds. His voice was soft and quavering. "It...was Mariella, wasn't it? The SSS set out to attack Zebes, but because I took away her powers, she was killed..." He looked down and closed his eyes. "Then... it is even worse than what I feared. I knew something bad would come out of that, and you would be the most likely person to find me responsible. But I couldn't have imagined..." he was beginning to fall apart. "Oh, Dobs, I'm so sorry! For everything! It would be more than I deserve if you allowed me to tell my tale, which does not excuse me of my actions but at least may shed some light on what has truly happened in this world the last few weeks...please...my conscience will be tormented forever if I leave this life unexplained..."

Dobs did not move at first, but then stepped back and withdrew his sais slowly, glaring with distrust. "Fine, then."

Bob Snicket slowly balanced himself against the wall and stood up straight. He then addressed not just Dobs, but the entire room. "Everyone! I have done a great disservice to you all, not only by refusing to aid the righteous side and taking away the powers of the forumers, but by letting my mind corrupt into a state of such maleability that I have lost sight of what real balance is, and by so doing attempting to treat the real world like a work of fiction, a mere story that I could change and adjust as I pleased. But if you will have the patience to hear me out, I swear that I will leave your lives forever, in one way or another, and never bother the Super Smash Saviors and their cause ever again. This is my story:

"I was raised by a great, true friend, to whom I owe eternal gratitude and apologies. Yoshi brought me up, teaching me that the forces of evil are always the enemy, and good is the cause worth fighting for. Yet I adhered to the duty placed upon me by my lineage: to record the goings on of this world, and make their lessons known to the rest of humanity. And so I isolated myself from civilization, living and working in secret, but still supporting the cause of good. I still vividly remember when I first came to the knowledge of the formation of the SSS and their struggle against the Subspace Army. I remember tracking each of you down covertly, taking note of your noble behaviors and esteemable actions, and eventual initial victory against your enemies.

"But finally, after that, the time came when Sakurai called us all to the Dojo, me included, and at that point I realized I could no longer conceal myself with the secrecy I once could, now that I was being tracked, being unwantedly included. So I played along, getting involved as little as possible, until that fateful encounter atop the Dojo with the Ancient Minister, whom we now know as Fawful, and who is now dead. Those yellow eyes gazed into mine almost hypnotically, and I stared back defiantly. But in that one fleeting moment of pride, the unimaginable happened, something I did not realize until it was expelled from me just recently. A single Shadow Bug crept from the Minister into me, and resided insignificantly inside my mind. Alone, it could not come even close to taking control over me. But that one vile object was enough to create a secondary conscience within my thoughts. This deceitful conscience twisted my ideals, emphasizing the different meanings of the world balance, until finally I had allowed myself to believe that to oversee was to control. At that time, my mind changed, although I still had perfect control over it. My eyes grew darker from the influence of the solitary Shadow Bug.

"And so, it followed, when I was rescued from Subspace, I was highly inclined to pursue this unjust balance myself, and formed what was known as the Creators' Alliance, and which thankfully no longer exists. I sought to equalize the forces of good and evil, considering the dealings between the two sides to be a story of entertaining purposes. I unfairly revoked the unique talents of many of the forumers, using justified force to fulfill my intents. Giving no heed to Smashbro's pleadings, I refused to use my own talents in a manner to make the world a more peaceful place. Until finally, I was forced to defend myself against the oppression of the Ancient Minister himself; then, my other true friend, Sandshrew, had to sacrifice his life in order to show me what I was doing wrong. Along with the life of Mariella, these were both sacrifices which were unnecessary and could have been avoided if there had not been the unwavering arrogance on my part.

"After this, I remembered, too late, the other admonition of my parents, to never, under any circumstances, partake in any act against good. I would have willfully died then and there if not for the efforts of Taishi and Master Hand to for some reason preserve my flawed life. For a time after that, while you of the SSS fought your final war against the Subspace Imperial Army and Fawful, I was able to turn my mind from my dark deeds and focus on a task for which I had unknowingly been chosen: to free the Pokemon Arceus, and by so doing mend the overlap between dimensions. But now, excuses to delay my confession have run dry, and now I share with you all the lesson which I have painfully been taught with heavy consequence: that anything which is not of good is repulsive unto righteous eyes, and pride can lead to the downfall of even the most skilled and longsuffering of persons. This message I hope you will all take to heart without going through the agony I have, especially those of you thinking to rebel against your own. Remember that for whatever concocted justification we may think up, we will be defined by our actions, and anything other than an honest path will lead to despair."

Snicket turned then to Dobs. "Dobs, there is no way for me to compensate for your loss, the result of my mistakes, and I'm sure no apology will resolve or suffice it, either. But if you were to kill me, I fear that Arceus, one who understands me exceedingly well, would not hesitate to unleash his wrath upon all involved in my destruction. So that is why I will leave, and never wreak mischief furthermore among this world. My work must go on, but perhaps I was wrong all along in thinking that the Smash Universe was where I belonged. Farewell."

With that, Bob Snicket walked briskly out of the headquarters, raising his hood as he did so. But, where he could still see the building behind, he stopped at the steep cliff of a plateau and stared at the orange setting sun, while the now-pouring rain drenched him and his already-drenched spirits. However, from behind, he heard someone else leaving the HQ after him...

(It will be Yoshi, but he doesn't have to be alone)

[Jukan]

Jukan was inside the SSS Base sitting quietly. he had missed such a large amount of action, and wasn't sure exactly what was going on. after his blade almost bro0ke, he went away and did some intense training. he had finally just returned after all had happened. Jukan was pissed at himself for not training harder, or faster. the memory of how Kanju with ease crushed him in battle haunted him. he looked around at all the others, he didn't budge one inch. he instead listened to the people, and herd snickets story. he hadn't been involved but had herd of the events that transpired while he was away. he had closed his eyes. he just waited to see anything new would soon happen, or if things would stay quiet. Jukan still longed for his rematch with his rival. as he knew, he had what it took now to show him his skills.

the group arived to the HQ hangar and shure enough the Falcon Flyer was sitting there ready to be driven.

Kin: this thing is awesome! we will get to skyworld in no time!

Mewtwo: couldint I just have Lucario and I teleport us all there? it will make things go faster?

Kin: and what fun would that be?

Mewtwo: ....fine

Lucario: come on master its Vacation time!

Snake: .......

and with that they all left for skyworld

Dobs walked out into the rain and gazed upon the repentant Snicket, and couldn't help but pity him. He began to jog forwards, so that only ten or fifteen feet separated the two.

"Snicket!" Dobs called out. The hooded figure slowly turned around to meet the glance of Dobs' eyes. "I know I shouldn't... but something is telling me to forgive you..." Dobs smiled to himself at the thought, "Something deep inside of me feels that you just got in over your head... and I'm starting to agree with it."

The rain fell relentlessly as Dobs came to this revelation, "Just the fact that you know what you've done and can admit it is all the satisfaction I need. I know that we could never be friends, and I don't think that I want to be. Just go knowing that I forgive you, Bob Snicket."

After a reassuring nod from Snicket, Dobs turned and walked towards his ship. As he did so, he saw Yoshi, stumbling towards Snicket from HQ. Dobs also met the gaze of the enigmatic alien woman, Nhalini.

"Hello, young Warrior... I have much to speak to you about." Nhalini's deep, strong voice echoed in Dobs' thoughts. "We shall converse on the journey over to Azaran."

Dobs looked confused, "Why go back there? This is my home now. Why go back to Italonich?"
"That is not our destination... We journey to Espisa... there are things that I wish to show you..."

Dobs could not figure out why... but he trusted this woman, and did not ask questions. The two boarded his gunship as it rose off of the ground. Rain trickled down all sides of the ship as it took off, and flew out of the atmosphere of Smash Planet. Dobs set the auto pilot of his ship to Espia.

As he sat, his thoughts drifted to Mariella. He remembered their first meeting, how she defeated him in battle. They seemed like polar opposites at the time... which they actually were, but they were forced together by the fates. He remembered leaving her on Itallonich, and the great grief he felt afterwords.

The two met again at the Dojo, when Sakurai recruited them both to be in his new videogame. There was so much anxiety between them at that point... Dobs didn't think that things would ever be ok between the two.

But the fates brought the duo together once again. After confronting the Evil Kin, Mariella lay severely injured in Smashville, where she was rescued by Dobs and brought back to SSS HQ. When she stirred, she had forgiven Dobs for the events on Italonich and was able to accept him as a friend and equal.

Dobs recalled the Battle of the Dojo, where they first began to understand each other. Dobs and Mariella worked together to defeat the SSE as well as a few Mortal Kombat rogues. At the end of the battle, Bob Snicket sacrificed himself to save the Dojo.

Dobs and Mariella worked together in a coalition of SSS to save Snicket. They grew apart during this journey, but ultimatley came out of it together, against Snicket as he traded sides against them.

After an attack in Kongo Jungle by Xzana, Dobs decided to go under cover as an SSS spy on Zebes. He got Mariella and Samus captured only to free them again in a scheme to thwart both the SIE and Xzana. He never fully forgave himself for forcing his friends into the SIE dungeons... but had to in order for his plans to succeed.

Finally, Dobs thoughts turned to the event which had been haunting him for the past few weeks. He thought of Dr. Vin and Xzana, and how Samus married himself and Mariella atop the SIE HQ on Zebes. He saw her fall from the tower... unable to stop herself without the use of her powers.

Dobs looked deeply into Mariella's sea foam green eyes with love and passion. He recollected their first and last kiss atop the tower. That was the happiest moment of his life. Mariella's eyes were still in his thoughts... staring at him...

Dobs felt happiness rush throughout his veins when suddenly he fell out of his chair. He opened his eyes and saw all of the objects within his ship's cabin suspended in midair. After a few moments, everything fell to the floor with a crash.

"It would appear that you've discovered the Power..." Nhalini's voice had yet again protruded Dobs' thoughts... he had forgot that she was in the room.
"What's going on?" Dobs asked, very confused.
"She is always with us you know... the fates would not allow you to separate...she lives within you..."
"What are you talking about?"
"Have I ever spoke of... The Prophecy?"

Dobs gazed into Nhalini's glowing blue eyes when he caught a glimpse of pink mist swirling around and then dissolving into the air...

{SSS HQ}

Steele heard and saw the commotion between Dobs and Snicket, and walked off into a corridor.

He walked down the hall until he reached a set of double doors, smaller and less decorated that the main entrance doors.

Yeah....He thought to himself.

He unsheathed a katana and slid the blade under the door and all the way to the right. He heard the faint click, and opened the left door. He walked into a large circular room, with 6 other people sitting on placemats. a soft light was in the center, making people able to see, but noanyone's faces. He locked the door behind him.

Steele: "How is everyone? Is this everyone that's left?"

"Yeah" said one of the people "most of us were in the main battle, so our numbers have dwindled"

Steele: "As you all know, Sakurai has called a tournament........And also Snicket is here" The people got deafly quiet

"Well what do we do?" said a different voice "How can we keep up like this? There's only seven of us?"

Steele: "Snicket had a past delemia with Dobs. I might suggest we extend t...."

"No!" A voice cut him off "We have never brought in high ranking SSS members here. We have always been low ranking soldiers"

Steele: "Which brings me to my next point. It is no longer safe to be part of the SSS" Everyone looked at him "You all know it. From now on, we'll have to act on our own accord, is that alright everone?"
People nodded their heads.

[SSS HQ Plateau]

Mercy... Bob Snicket pondered as Dobs left. That was mercy...I have never felt it before, but...I like it...

Then, as shortlived as his second moment of solitude was, it was now broken again by his oldest friend. Yoshi came up right next to him, looking at him with those big eyes full of kindness and sympathy, and, to Bob's surprise, nuzzled his head in Snicket's side. Then, he stepped away and addressed him.

"You know, Bob, I always knew you'd eventually come back...that's why I have been able to continue fighting with the SSS in your absence. But...don't go making another mistake you'll regret. Yes, you were an absolute brickhead for a long time recently, but I'm just glad you're back to normal. I missed that little boy who knocked Bowser Jr. off a bird's nest and took all my advice almost as law. But now you're back. And you're not leaving without me telling you something."

Snicket, for the first time in ages smiled slightly. "And that is, Yoshi?"

"You're a good guy, Bob, whether you like it or not, whether you think so or you don't. There are people out there who have done so much worse than what you did, but you're different from them, because they never changed. Like Fawful, who never let go of his rage and fury until the day LGN defeated him at last. Yet you, despite your attempt at being a bad guy, which was horrible, I must say, in the end still acknowledged and felt sorrow for what you did wrong. Even with that black cloak and all your other concealing gear, there isn't a drop of corrupt blood in you."

Bob thought about this. "You know, you're right, Yoshi. But speaking of LGN, where is he, anyways? I didn't see him inside..."

"He's missing," Yoshi said. "Like you were."

"Well, that's a true pity," said Snicket, "because I finally had an answer to his question. You know, there was someone who could tell him when he would die. And she is only a few hundred feet away. Madame Clairvoya. I wish I could have told him that..."

Yoshi replied, "Yes, well--YOWSHI! TAISHI, LET GO OF MY TAIL RIGHT NOW!"

And indeed, behind the green dinosaur, a similar black dinosaur had yanked on Yoshi's tail, although judging from his look, it had only been to get their attention.

"What now, Taishi?" Yoshi said, extremely irritated. "Didn't I send you on a nice trip a few weeks ago inside an egg with a home-run bat?"

"Yes," said Taishi, "and I thank you for that. That's actually why I am here briefly. You see, I flew in that egg so far that when I landed, I was in some strange city called New Pork. And then next thing I knew, this wierd reddish lion thingy with a duck on its head tried to take a bite out of me. So I taught it a good lesson until it was as tame as a goldfish..and you know what it gave me in return as a gift of apology for its rash actions? This."

Taishi revealed in his hand a shining purple orb, like unto the blue, red, and yellow ones which glowed inside the HQ.

"And I suppose I'll have to force it from you like last time, won't I?" Yoshi said with a sly smile.

"Oh, certainly not!" Taishi said, flinging it at Friend of Mario like it was a disease. "I just wanted to bring this here because heaven knows I have no other use for it. Now if you'll excuse me..."

"Hey," Snicket interrupted, remembering something. "You and Kirby still haven't explained to any of us what's up."

"Hiya!" Kirby suddenly appeared among them, as if on cue. "I'll show you! Watch!"

Everyone watched as Kirby began to perform an extremely strange dance. He jumped, spun, bounced on his feet and hands, and executed every other possible move that could be imagined of a figure such as him. Finally, he stopped in a pose with his feet facing outward in opposite directions and one stubby arm raised in the air. They waited.

Nothing happened.

They stood there, Kirby not moving an inch, but both him and Taishi watching the skies expectantly.

Then, a low rumbling began. It began shaking harder, and the sky above underwent a dramatic change. The rain instantly stopped, the clouds spread away and vanished, and a blinding sphere of whiteness began to decend from above. it then lowered to their level, and the light faded away. The figures it revealed, however, were still shining. For it was Palutena, Farore, Din, and Nayru, the goddesses who, although nearly forgotten by many, even among the SSS, were always watching over the Smash Universe. They each radiated a bright effulgence which awed all those watching.

Kirby and Taishi lowered themselves submissively before the goddesses (Kirby doing whatever he could). Palutena spoke in a resounding, exalted voice, which even some of those in the HQ heard.

[glow=blue,2,300]"Well done, Taishi. Well done, Pink One. You have successfully carried out the charge I gave you, and will be blessed for your efforts."[/glow] She turned to Snicket and Yoshi. [glow=blue,2,300]"Friend of Mario and Bob Snicket, allow me to explain. We are the Heaven Society, the true overseers of the Smash Universe, and are in secret conjunction with the Super Smash Saviors. Several weeks ago, after you, Snicket, were sent to Subspace, we appeared unto these two loyal creatures and endowed them with the responsibility of watching you. For we knew the god Arceus needed you, and only you, to release him in order to ensure the settling of Palkia and Dialga's conflict. Our plan worked perfectly. Kirby joined your Creators' Alliance because we told him to stay near you whenever possible, and make sure you stayed out of peril so you could complete this task. I believe Arceus has already bestowed his blessing upon you, Bob, so we will leave you all with the reminder that we are on your side. The schism of the SSS will soon become an increasingly worse issue, but with your gifts, we know you can eventually resolve it. In the meantime, you must relax from your efforts and return to your homes for a while, until you are called back. Friend of Mario, we commend you for your willingness to to good even when we had not specifically called you to do so. Despite the seeming lack of importance, please continue the search for the colored Orbs; the unlocking of the higher floors of your headquarters is more significant than you know. Good luck in your future efforts, and in time, perhaps we may meet again."[/glow]

The blinding white light returned, forming a sphere around the goddesses, and they rose back into the heavens, leaving a clear night sky.

Life is amazing, Snicket thought as he watched the miraculous occurance.

"Well, see you around, Bob Snicket. Friend of Mario." Taishi nodded in acknowledgement to each of them and took off rolling in a black-spotted egg, to who-knew-where.

"Byyee!" Kirby waved to Bob and Yoshi, and floated back inside the building.

"Well, Bob," Yoshi said, holding the purple orb, "what will you do now?"

"Give you this." Snicket took the shining Niluck Stone from inside his cloak and handed it to his old friend. "You're the best friend I could ever have, Yoshi. I hope things work alright between you and Mario and the rest."

"Aw, Mario'll come around eventually. Like you, deep down he doesn't have the faintest inkling to oppose good. He's just gotten confused about what good is. And you are a true friend as well, Bob, which is why I'm sorry that I must do this."

Suddenly, Yoshi smacked his extremely hard head into Snicket's, knocking him out. The dinosaur slung him over his saddle and trooped back into the HQ. When people saw them, he said, "I, um...found an eavesdropper." Strange looks came from everywhere as he walked obliviously across the room, placed the purple Orb and Niluck Stone in their places, and ascended the stairs to the portal room.

Yoshi found the black, forbidden portal which he well knew to lead to the human Earth world, and lovingly pushed his friend through it.

"You're a hero our world deserves, Bob," Yoshi whispered, "but not the one it needs right now. In the meantime, see how the publishing of that one story you mentioned with a really long name goes." He then went back downstairs.

Where the purple orb had been placed, the room was shaking, as a staircase appeared on the third floor leading to yet another new floor.

Later, Professor Elvin Gadd was inspecting this new floor. But the strange thing was, it was completely empty, from corner to corner.

"I need to ask Smashbro for permission," the little scientist said excitedly, "because this would be the perfect place for me to set up another lab!"

Snicket woke up, dazed, in the same alley of Quagmire Road where his adventure had begun. Thousands of thoughts ran through his head, but then he remembered why he had feared Fawful in the first place, and Chuck Quizmo.

They were destined to try to destroy me...but then who is the third? The only other one I can think of fitting the description would be... An image of the professor flashed through his mind. No...it can't be...
