[Yoshi and Taishi]
gh.ffshrine.org/song/644/18As Yoshi fell down the Dojo, clutching the Yellow Orb tightly, the blurred outline of his surroundings zoomed past him. He finally landed lightly on the ground and began dashing forward, anywhere to get away from his pursuer.
For as soon as he began dashing, the black Yoshi ground pounded onto the spot where he had just been a fraction of a section before. Taishi then instantly began shooting towards Yoshi at an even faster pace, a fiery fury lit in his dark eyes.
"Give me the orb, Friend of Mario!" Taishi yelled as they ran.
"*pant* You have no use for it, Taishi! The *pant* SSS needs it to access a new area of our headquarters!" Yoshi was getting worried, as Taishi was getting very close, now almost close enough to reach...
"I don't give a FLIP about your stupid SSS! That orb is rightfully mine, and I will chase you across the entire WORLD to get it back if I have to!" Taishi said.
Yoshi realized that running like this would no longer work, so he went into his pink-spotted egg and began rolling at a rapid pace away from Taishi.
"Oh, no you don't!" Taishi yelled furiously. Taishi then followed suit and went into his black-spotted egg to give pursuit.
The two chasing eggs continued to zoom away from the Dojo, and after about a minute, the seemed to enter...
A skate park???Funny, Yoshi thought.
I don't remember this part of the Dojo...But indeed, with bowls, half-pipes, and intersecting roller-coaster-like trails that looked like the sort of half-pipe trails which marbles would go through--except these trails which curved upward at the edges appeared to be made for very large marbles...or even eggs--this place looked like a skate park specially designed just for eggs...it was therefore henceforth known as the Egg Park.
Yoshi and Taishi both rolled into a deep bowl and launched off the curve at the other end, sending them high into the air. They collided again and again in the air as they ascended, each attempting to break the other's egg.
But as they fell, they unintentionally landed on one of the marble trails in the air, and began riding it. The pink and black-spotted eggs rolled very fast, picking up speed on drops, sudden U-turns, and loop-de-loops. Once in a while they collided with each other, sometimes almost falling off the trail, which would surely cause them to knock out because of the distance to the ground...
Finally, at the highest point of the marble trail, the pink egg slowly reached the top, the black egg close behind, and they began rolling rapidly down the trail reaching speeds of over 100 mph...then both of them panicked when they were launched off a steep jump, with a disconnected marble trail continuing a ways away, obviously the intended landing spot...
But at the height of the ascension resulting from the jump, Yoshi suddenly broke out of his egg, and without turning around, did a meteor smash on Taishi with his ahead, creating a resounding
crack! Taishi's egg smashed, and his beaten body plummeted to the ground, in the middle of a half-pipe...
The pink Yoshi, still holding the yellow orb, flutter jumped repetitively so that he would land safely next to the groaning Taishi. Before Taishi could do anything, Yoshi stuck his tongue out, ate him, and let him out the other end, now trapped in a pink egg. The egg shook, Taishi's muffled voice coming from the egg.
This does not count as cannibalism, Yoshi thought.
Now where is...ah, there it is!Yoshi ran over to a home run bat laying on the half-pipe and picked it up. He gave a few practice swings, then walked up to the wiggling egg.
"Now you be a good boy, Taishi. Trust me, this hurts me more than it will hurt you," Yoshi said, half-seriously, half-mockingly. And with that, Yoshi charged up his legendary swing, and with one swift stroke, slammed the bat at the perfect angle into the egg, sending it rocketing far away into the distance. It disappeared with the twinkle of a white star. Yoshi thought he could hear a muffled "I'll be back" as he did so, but it didn't matter.
Now that that was taken care of, he could get back to fighting...
