Hey, Nintendo Fanboys. PS2's here, so all is good. Nintendo 64 had two RPG's that are even slightly worth mentioning. Yes, I'll love to pick up Quest 64 just for some nostaliga but that's not enough for a system.. one game. And it doesn't just exclude us RPG fans, it also only had one FPS that was decent, being Goldeneye 007. All around, it had almost nothing to speak of on any other genres ends up being if you weren't obsessed with platforming/adventure games.. Nintendo 64 just wasn't worth your time. SNES was out sold by the Genesis, and rightfully so since it just was a better console with more interesting games at the time and had a more aggressive advertising campaign.
Playstation 2 however, on the only category that matters.. games, outsells and outplays everything else. It's library is just full of gems on every single genre and at a used price of 50$ with controller, there is NO excuse not to own it and have access to the greatest library of games out in gaming. Do yourself a favor. ;3

My favorites that are on the list are Wii and the Gamecube, but I also love NES and SNES.

that list fails epically without SNES or N64, dreamcast, etc....new consoles are good but the oldies are the best for sure

-_- i havent even played half of those old consoles, and WTF is Dreamcast? Seriously? O.o You don't know what the Sega Dreamcast is? But.. it has the extremely underrated RPG series "Evolution" on it.
