CHAPTER 33: THE PROPHECY IS TRUE?
Lucas was still riding on Yoshi a day later, and nothing much had gone on. Everybody was sad about the loss of Lucario and although they were happy that they were alright, they depressed. Lucaas still hadn’t smiled.
“I can’t believe I did it again,” said Lucas. “I left behind a friend who sacrificed himself for me.”
“But he told you to save yourself,” replied Yoshi.
“And I think Ness would have said the same thing,” replied Lucas.
“We’ll get him back don’t worry,” said Yoshi.
“Thanks for talking with me.”
“Anytime.”
Great, one of the best members of the team is lost, thought Snake. All we have left is the “cute” little dinosaur, the wining kid, a toy robot, and I guess the two pilots aren’t bad, but one of them always says ‘Falcon’ and the other is a freakin animal. Am I the only one here who is actually skilled?
“So what do you think has happened to everyone else?” asked R.O.B.
“Well, Falco said that he was going to be talking to Samus, so they might have found out what happened,” said Fox. Samus…thought someone. “And Wolf is an enemy.”
“Well,” said Falcon, “Ness and Red know, so they probably have groups with them right now. And probably Samus and Falco do too.”
“I hope DK and Diddy and Samus and Pikachu and Olimar are ok,” said R.O.B.
Couldn’t you have said a longer list? thought Snake sarcastically. “I really don’t care, but it would be great if we had that kick a** pokemon from melee. And Samus and Falco aren’t bad either.”
“Do you think the melee characters will be back?” asked Fox, as the group saw some people rushing at them.
Mewtwo led the group, which seemed to be looking for something.
“Mewtwo!” said Fox.
“Fox!” replied Mewtwo. (He continued to say everyone else’s names but I won’t type them all.)
“Well what do ya know…?” said Snake. After all their introductions, it was finally time to come down to business.
“So, are any other heroes helping?” asked Mewtwo.
“Ness and Red know,” said Lucas.
“And so do Falco and Samus,” said Fox.
“Ok, that’s nearly everyone,” said Mewtwo. “But wait. What happened to Lucario? Didn’t he find you?” he asked Lucas.
“Well yeah…but he kind of…sacrificed himself. For me. And the rest of us too.”
“No, he can’t have done that,” replied Mewtwo disbelieving. He looked like he was upset, but quickly he looked stern. “We have to find everyone else. Let’s go.”
“What about that prophecy?” asked Link.
“Prophecies are not always right,” replied Mewtwo, and he led them away.
I can’t believe that the prophecy is becoming true. They do not always come true though, so it may not be right. But we have to be very careful. We need to avoid the situation the prophecy describes, at all costs. There’s no telling who they are, or what choices they’d make. It’s best not to worry the others with the news though. All we can do is move on, and hopefully make it out of this.

Taboo was speaking, “There would be a time when the leader in Subspace would rise to attempt to take over the worlds and add them to his own.”

CHAPTER 34: A MASS GATHERING
On their way to find others, Meta Knight and Dedede were talking.
“So what happened to you?” asked Meta Knight.
“I don’t know,” started Dedede. “I was sitting in my room, thinking of my next plot to take…” Dedede stopped as Meta Knight glared at him. “I mean I was sleeping…and I saw some of the army come to attack me, all of the different kinds of Primids. I fought with my army against them, but I think I was knocked out. And then…I remember seeing him briefly, and then the next thing I remember was that you found me in the forest.”
“Hmmm…”said Meta Knight, smiling.
“Why are you smiling?” asked Dedede.
“I’m finally doing something exciting after months of ‘surveillance duty’. You don’t know how f*….how boring it was.”
But then, they met a group of heroes, looking for friends. They had found Zelda, Red, Jigglypuff, Samus, Falco and the Ice Climbers.
“I told you we’d find people in the forest,” said Falco. Everyone said their hellos, and got reacquainted.
“So what happened to everyone else?” asked Zelda.
“Well, some of us went in a different direction to look for heroes, and we said we’d meet up at the research facility.”
“Then lets go there,” said Falco, and the group headed off, talking in a few different groups.
Zelda, Peach and Samus were talking to each other.
“I hope Link is ok,” said Zelda. “What about Mario, what happened to him?”
“I don’t know, he said he was sick and couldn’t go to the banquet,” replied Peach.
“I hope he’s ok,” said Samus quietly, looking away.
“Wait you mean…?”
“Yeah.”
“So you like him back! Oooo that’s so cute!”
“Well, maybe we’ll meet up with him soon.”
“So you made it back!” said Red to Ness. “It’s too bad the tournament is over though.”
“You were at the tournament too?” asked Jigglypuff.
“You were there?” asked Red.
“Yeah, watching,” replied Jigglypuff.
“Is it cool to have a pokemon?” asked Young Link.
“Yeah it is,” replied Red.
“I think I’d want a Treeko,” said Young Link.
“Ralts doesn’t look bad either,” said Ness.
“So you’re good now?” asked Falco, unbelieving.
“Yes. For the last time yes!” said Dedede annoyed.
“Just believe him, he is,” said Meta Knight angrily.
“Why are you talking like that?” asked Falco, mad.
“Because it feels good to talk to someone every month or two!” replied Meta Knight. He walked away and Sonic came.
“But he really is good, I mean, I even saw Pit’s arrow go through him, making him good,” said Sonic.
“So that’s what the arrow can do,” said Falco.
A little while later, they met up with Mewtwo’s party.
“Everyone’s here!” said Mewtwo, looking at the oncoming group.
“Well, not really,” said Peach. And she explained about where Pit’s group had gone.
“And also,” added Falco, “DK was captured.”
“No,” said Mewtwo, looking frantic. “Not again. That means that we have to gather the other party as quickly as possible. We should send out a small party, of about 5 to go find them. Then we can meet back at the facility.”
“but we were going to meet there anyways,” said Ness. “They’ll be coming soon.”
“But soon isn’t good enough,” replied Mewtwo. “We need them now.”
Zelda and Young Link went to find the other 2 Links.
“You’re back!” said Toon Link, as he greeted Young Link.
“You’re ok!” said Zelda and she walked up to Link. They both stood awkwardly, not sure what the other would think if they hugged each other. Finally, Link put his hand on Zelda’s arm.
“Glad you’re ok,” he said.
“Hello, friends,” said R.O.B.
“How’s it going?” asked Diddy.
“OK,” replied the others (the Climbers Pichu and Olimar).
“Except…” Popo said, “that DK was captured.”
“Not again,” said Diddy. “I’d do anything to help him.”
“So would I, he was pretty nice,” said Olimar.
“Umm, Ness,” started Lucas, “look, I’m sorry that I left you when we were in the city, … and I didn’t go back to help you…”
“It’s ok,” said Ness. “I would have wanted you to save yourself.”
“No! I knew it!”
“What?”
“That’s what Lucario said, before he sacrificed himself too. Now I really feel bad.”
“Well, let’s make a promise to do whatever we can to save him.”
“ok.”
Mewtwo met with Dedede Meta Falco Fox Kirby Red Pikachu Sonic and Jigglypuff.
“So we should plan an attack on subspace, once we get all the heroes organized.”
“Is there anything I can do to help?” asked Jigglypuff.
“Just…help us fight later, don’t worry about doing anything now.”
“Oh…”
“Mario!” said Peach, as she ran up to him. Mario looked embarrassed.
“Are you feeling better?” asked Yoshi.
“Ummm…,” said Mario, “I never was sick.”
“So you lied to me? Don’t you do that again or I’ll use my Peach Bomber on you (B side attack),” replied Peach.
“Is that a threat or a promise?” asked Mario. She then hit him with a golf club.
“That was a threat,” Yoshi said.
“Guys, you’re ok!” said Samus, running up to Snake and Falcon.
“Yeah, thanks for the update,” replied Snake.
“Falcon…hi!” said Falcon.
“Will you freakin stop that?!?” yelled Snake.
“So, you guys ready to take down … him again?”
“Might as well be. He was easy last time,” replied Snake.
“Falcon…YES!”
“WILL YOU SHUT UP?!?”
So later on, Link, Toon Link, Young Link, Diddy and Olimar set off to find the others.

“He would be put down by the heroes of the worlds, and be weakened. But he would come back.”

CHAPTER 35: THE MISSING LINK

Pit, Luigi, Game and Watch, Marth, Ike, and Roy were walking along a path, seeing if they could find anyone else.
“So all of us princes are back together,” said Roy, excited to be back in the action.
“Yeah, and hopefully for a long time,” said Marth.
“What do you mean, you have nothing to worry about,” replied Ike. “I might be out next game.”
“So, do you think we should head back?” asked Pit. “We haven’t seen anybody for a while.”
“Yeah, it would be better to get back with everyone,” replied Luigi.
“It doesn’t matter,” replied Game and Watch. “Whatever happens, happens.” They were starting to head back, when they ran into Captain Olimar.
“GUYSCOMEQUICKYOUWONTBELIEVEWHATHAPPENED” he said, running up to them.
“What happened?” asked Pit. Olimar explained as they were heading toward what the captain came from.
(flashback)
Olimar, Diddy, and the three Links were walking toward where the other group should have been, when they met up with 2 unexpected visitors. Ganondorf and DK walked out of a portal; DK with the same blue eyes as the other enemies.
“The three of us can take him,” said Link (TP). “You two go and get the other group, maybe Pit can help.” He was talking to Olimar and Diddy.
“No, I got to stay and fight DK,” replied Diddy. “You go.”
(normal time)
“So that’s what happened,” finished Olimar, as they came up on another friend, Diddy.
“He’s gone, and they’re still fighting him!”
“What are you talking about?”
“Well…” and they continued walking.
(flashback)
The fight had started, and it seemed evenly matched. A minute or two after Olimar left, DK took off in that direction.
“Follow him!” yelled Toon Link, busy fighting off Ganondorf.
“ok,” and Diddy ran off too. They continued running until they caught sight of Olimar in the distance, and DK was hit. Diddy put away the pop gun and ran towards DK. They started fighting, hand to hand, and eventually, they were thrown off each other. A portal opened, and DK started to walk through into Subspace. Once inside the portal, before it closed, DK said, “You’ll be next.” Then the portal closed.
(normal time)
“So the other 3 are still fighting?” asked Roy, as they were now running toward where Olimar and Diddy had come from.
“I think so,” replied Diddy. Just then, the TP Link showed up.
“Guys, quick! It’s only the other 2 left,” said Link.
“What happened?” asked Marth.
(flashback)
Diddy and DK were running away, and the three Links were fighting Ganondorf.
“Guys, we should turn him back,” said Young Link. The other 2 agreed, and when Ganondorf fell, Toon Link took out his Wind Waker, Young Link took out an ocarina, and Link picked a bade of grass (like he did in TP). They are about to play their music, which Ganondorf should recognize and be turned back to normal, a wave of dark energy hit the 3 links. Then, a circle of boulders were summoned, which TP Link saw as he was thrown away by the dark energy blast.
(real time, Toon and Young)
The two Links were trapped by the boulders, and couldn’t get out.
“What happened to Link?” asked Toon Link.
“I don’t know, just get your waker,” replied Young Link. But as they ran to get their items, Ganondorf grabbed Toon Link, and threw him at a rock. He was knocked out, and as Young Link turned around, he was hit by the laser gun. Ganondorf and Young Link turned to go after Toon Link, when they heard people coming. So the 2 stepped through the portal, and left Toon Link lying on the ground.
The party came up to Toon Link and asked what happened.
“They…he must have got him,” said Toon Link, still dazed.
“They got another of us,” said Marth.
“and that’s exactly why we came here, so they wouldn’t get you guys,” said Olimar.
“If only I had been here with my arrows,” said Pit. “Then we should head back to the facility. Hopefully we can end this soon.
{Subspace}
“The heroes would once again try to stop the leader in Subspace, but this time they would need more of the heroes, as the leader had gained power.”

CHAPTER 36: A MONKEY’S UNCLE

The evil ones stood in front of Taboo, waiting for orders.
“So they know how to convert you, do they?” said Taboo.
“Yes,” replied Young Link.
“And I understand they are heading to the facility, correct?”
“Yes.”
“Then maybe we should meet them there. But first, we need to get their Ace, or solo him out. If we get that ace, then it will be nearly impossible for them to deal a winning hand, if you know what I mean. So we should…What was that? They know about the name summoning too, don’t they? Well, we could arrange a meeting…definitely.”
DK, Young Link, Lucario, Wolf, Bowser, Ganondorf and Wario were waiting for their orders still. Each one of them was fighting the mind control inside, but losing. The only thing that could bring any of them back was music or voices; something that they would usually hear that would cause them to want to return to normal even more, or get them so angry, the control would be broken. DK had especially had a hard time, because he was followed by Diddy. But luckily for Taboo, Diddy had been fairly quiet. Then, Taboo gave the orders.
“Is there any was to get them back here so you can use your arrow?” asked Link.
“Well,” said Olimar, “Yoshi said that they attacked after they said his name.”
“Then bring it on…Taboo,” said Roy, and they all got ready to fight. But although there was blue lighting, no one showed up.
“I guess it didn’t work,” replied Ike.
“I don’t know…something feels…odd,” said Marth. They continued to walk until night, and then made up camp.
“So, everyone, you remember who you’re going after?” asked Bowser, leading the enemies toward the hero’s camp.
“Yes,” replied everyone. But when they were going to split, Wolf went in a different direction then he was supposed to.
“What are you doing?” asked Ganondorf.
“Going after the big prize, the Ace. If I can get him, the master will be very pleased with me.”
“But he directly said not to go after him, the Ace would be not strong enough to fight him alone after we capture his friends.”
“Screw the orders. I want the big prize for myself.”
The heroes then woke up and heard noises in the forest. They decided to split up, and go find whoever was out there.
Toon Link was searching the forest alone, when he came upon Young Link.
“Don’t you even try to take out the waker,” warned Young Link, and they drew their swords.
“But you’re me, I must spark some memory in you,” replied Toon Link. Young Link did seem a bit shaken. “C’mon, you’re good. You’re me.” At this, Young Link fell to the ground, his eyes a light shade of blue, instead of the intense blue. As he was getting closer to turning normal, a portal opened and he was sucked inside.
Luigi trembled as he searched the forest, wishing he had been in one of groups with 2 people. He knew how it always happened in the movies. The person stopped, and slowly turned around to see the enemy. So he heard footsteps behind him. Luigi stopped. He slowly turned around. And as soon as he saw Bowser, he used his Super Jump Punch, and sent Bowser flying away.
Game and Watch, seeing little purpose in this, went out to try and find whoever it was. He came upon Wario, who shot at him with the blue laser gun. Using his bucket, Game and Watch collected the power, and sent it back at him which, although it kept him hypnotized, sent him flying off into the distance.
Ganondorf drew his sword, and he dueled Link, each unable to get an attack on the other. There was no way for Link to make Ganondorf return to normal, so all he could do was roll away, take out a bomb, and throw it at him. After this, Ganondorf retreated into a portal.
“That was for Young Link! I mean me, who was him…but is me now…or before…or later…or something!”
Marth and Ike found Lucario, who was charging up an aura ball. He was no match for them, because as he attacked one, the person countered, and sent him flying into the other’s attack. After doing this a few times, Lucario fled into a portal.
“Hey, get back here, why are you running away?!?” yelled Ike, ready for a fight.
“My job here is done. You aren’t helping to protect the on we came after, are you?” replied Lucario, before the portal closed.
DK slammed the ground with his palms, and Diddy and Roy flew up into the air.
“AHHH! Not again!” yelled Diddy, and as he spoke, it became harder and harder for DK to stay controlled. After landing, Roy and Diddy charged at DK from both sides, but DK used his giant punch to knock away Roy, then turned around and grabbed Diddy. Diddy yelled, “NO!” At this, DK turned back to normal.
“Little buddy?” he asked, still holding Diddy. But a portal opened, and Lucario pulled the two monkeys through.
Now, everyone was returning to camp, and when Roy got there, he told about the capture. But the group didn’t just lose a member, they gained one.
“Everyone, I’d like to introduce you to the newly good…Wolf,” said Pit, as he and Wolf walked into the camp.

“Once one member of the heroes was lost, there would be little hope for them, for after that it would be sure that most of the others would be captured, except…”

CHAPTER 37: THE PLAN

Everyone had now gathered at the facility, except for those who had been captured. Wolf did come with a little distrust, but they soon accepted him like they did Dedede.
“Here’s the plan,” said Mewtwo. “We must build a machine that will allow us to enter subspace at our will. Most of the parts should be around here, but we should secure this place. I’ll need some of you to help build it, some of you to look for the parts, and some of you to guard the building.”
(Outside the facility)
“I don’t see why we just don’t go in there and attack them!” said Bowser, impatient.
“They will send out some of themselves soon, do not worry,” replied Ganondorf. “That way we can attack them one by one.”
“But why did he get the special assignment?”
“He can go faster than us. There they are now.” Two people came out of the building.
(Inside the facility)
Pit and Marth pulled Mewtwo aside.
“What is the prophecy?” asked Pit.
“I think it’s important we know it,” added Marth.
“Well…if you must know. But only you two. If the 7 heard it, the prophecy would turn against us.”

“for the 7 who would decide the fate of the worlds. They would not be strong in whether moral or strength. The 7 will decide what to do, and unless all are agreed, they will separate and all will be lost to the leader. If they all agree though, the leader may be sent away for more time, only to return again.”

“Well, not really,” said Peach. And she explained about where Pit’s group had gone.
“And also,” added Falco, “DK was captured.”
“No,” said Mewtwo, looking frantic. “Not again. That means that we have to gather the other party as quickly as possible. We should send out a small party, of about 5 to go find them. Then we can meet back at the facility.”
“but we were going to meet there anyways,” said Ness. “They’ll be coming soon.”
“But soon isn’t good enough,” replied Mewtwo. “We need them now.”
Zelda and Young Link went to find the other 2 Links.
“You’re back!” said Toon Link, as he greeted Young Link.
“You’re ok!” said Zelda and she walked up to Link. They both stood awkwardly, not sure what the other would think if they hugged each other. Finally, Link put his hand on Zelda’s arm.
“Glad you’re ok,” he said.
“Hello, friends,” said R.O.B.
“How’s it going?” asked Diddy.
“OK,” replied the others (the Climbers Pichu and Olimar).
“Except…” Popo said, “that DK was captured.”
“Not again,” said Diddy. “I’d do anything to help him.”
“So would I, he was pretty nice,” said Olimar.
“Umm, Ness,” started Lucas, “look, I’m sorry that I left you when we were in the city, … and I didn’t go back to help you…”
“It’s ok,” said Ness. “I would have wanted you to save yourself.”
“No! I knew it!”
“What?”
“That’s what Lucario said, before he sacrificed himself too. Now I really feel bad.”
“Well, let’s make a promise to do whatever we can to save him.”
“ok.”
Mewtwo met with Dedede Meta Falco Fox Kirby Red Pikachu Sonic and Jigglypuff.
“So we should plan an attack on subspace, once we get all the heroes organized.”
“Is there anything I can do to help?” asked Jigglypuff.
“Just…help us fight later, don’t worry about doing anything now.”
“Oh…”
“Mario!” said Peach, as she ran up to him. Mario looked embarrassed.
“Are you feeling better?” asked Yoshi.
“Ummm…,” said Mario, “I never was sick.”
“So you lied to me? Don’t you do that again or I’ll use my Peach Bomber on you (B side attack),” replied Peach.
“Is that a threat or a promise?” asked Mario. She then hit him with a golf club.
“That was a threat,” Yoshi said.
“Guys, you’re ok!” said Samus, running up to Snake and Falcon.
“Yeah, thanks for the update,” replied Snake.
“Falcon…hi!” said Falcon.
“Will you freakin stop that?!?” yelled Snake.
“So, you guys ready to take down … him again?”
“Might as well be. He was easy last time,” replied Snake.
“Falcon…YES!”
“WILL YOU SHUT UP?!?”
So later on, Link, Toon Link, Young Link, Diddy and Olimar set off to find the others.

“He would be put down by the heroes of the worlds, and be weakened. But he would come back.”

CHAPTER 35: THE MISSING LINK

Pit, Luigi, Game and Watch, Marth, Ike, and Roy were walking along a path, seeing if they could find anyone else.
“So all of us princes are back together,” said Roy, excited to be back in the action.
“Yeah, and hopefully for a long time,” said Marth.
“What do you mean, you have nothing to worry about,” replied Ike. “I might be out next game.”
“So, do you think we should head back?” asked Pit. “We haven’t seen anybody for a while.”
“Yeah, it would be better to get back with everyone,” replied Luigi.
“It doesn’t matter,” replied Game and Watch. “Whatever happens, happens.” They were starting to head back, when they ran into Captain Olimar.
“GUYSCOMEQUICKYOUWONTBELIEVEWHATHAPPENED” he said, running up to them.
“What happened?” asked Pit. Olimar explained as they were heading toward what the captain came from.
(flashback)
Olimar, Diddy, and the three Links were walking toward where the other group should have been, when they met up with 2 unexpected visitors. Ganondorf and DK walked out of a portal; DK with the same blue eyes as the other enemies.
“The three of us can take him,” said Link (TP). “You two go and get the other group, maybe Pit can help.” He was talking to Olimar and Diddy.
“No, I got to stay and fight DK,” replied Diddy. “You go.”
(normal time)
“So that’s what happened,” finished Olimar, as they came up on another friend, Diddy.
“He’s gone, and they’re still fighting him!”
“What are you talking about?”
“Well…” and they continued walking.
(flashback)
The fight had started, and it seemed evenly matched. A minute or two after Olimar left, DK took off in that direction.
“Follow him!” yelled Toon Link, busy fighting off Ganondorf.
“ok,” and Diddy ran off too. They continued running until they caught sight of Olimar in the distance, and DK was hit. Diddy put away the pop gun and ran towards DK. They started fighting, hand to hand, and eventually, they were thrown off each other. A portal opened, and DK started to walk through into Subspace. Once inside the portal, before it closed, DK said, “You’ll be next.” Then the portal closed.
(normal time)
“So the other 3 are still fighting?” asked Roy, as they were now running toward where Olimar and Diddy had come from.
“I think so,” replied Diddy. Just then, the TP Link showed up.
“Guys, quick! It’s only the other 2 left,” said Link.
“What happened?” asked Marth.
(flashback)
Diddy and DK were running away, and the three Links were fighting Ganondorf.
“Guys, we should turn him back,” said Young Link. The other 2 agreed, and when Ganondorf fell, Toon Link took out his Wind Waker, Young Link took out an ocarina, and Link picked a bade of grass (like he did in TP). They are about to play their music, which Ganondorf should recognize and be turned back to normal, a wave of dark energy hit the 3 links. Then, a circle of boulders were summoned, which TP Link saw as he was thrown away by the dark energy blast.
(real time, Toon and Young)
The two Links were trapped by the boulders, and couldn’t get out.
“What happened to Link?” asked Toon Link.
“I don’t know, just get your waker,” replied Young Link. But as they ran to get their items, Ganondorf grabbed Toon Link, and threw him at a rock. He was knocked out, and as Young Link turned around, he was hit by the laser gun. Ganondorf and Young Link turned to go after Toon Link, when they heard people coming. So the 2 stepped through the portal, and left Toon Link lying on the ground.
The party came up to Toon Link and asked what happened.
“They…he must have got him,” said Toon Link, still dazed.
“They got another of us,” said Marth.
“and that’s exactly why we came here, so they wouldn’t get you guys,” said Olimar.
“If only I had been here with my arrows,” said Pit. “Then we should head back to the facility. Hopefully we can end this soon.
{Subspace}
“The heroes would once again try to stop the leader in Subspace, but this time they would need more of the heroes, as the leader had gained power.”

CHAPTER 36: A MONKEY’S UNCLE

The evil ones stood in front of Taboo, waiting for orders.
“So they know how to convert you, do they?” said Taboo.
“Yes,” replied Young Link.
“And I understand they are heading to the facility, correct?”
“Yes.”
“Then maybe we should meet them there. But first, we need to get their Ace, or solo him out. If we get that ace, then it will be nearly impossible for them to deal a winning hand, if you know what I mean. So we should…What was that? They know about the name summoning too, don’t they? Well, we could arrange a meeting…definitely.”
DK, Young Link, Lucario, Wolf, Bowser, Ganondorf and Wario were waiting for their orders still. Each one of them was fighting the mind control inside, but losing. The only thing that could bring any of them back was music or voices; something that they would usually hear that would cause them to want to return to normal even more, or get them so angry, the control would be broken. DK had especially had a hard time, because he was followed by Diddy. But luckily for Taboo, Diddy had been fairly quiet. Then, Taboo gave the orders.
“Is there any was to get them back here so you can use your arrow?” asked Link.
“Well,” said Olimar, “Yoshi said that they attacked after they said his name.”
“Then bring it on…Taboo,” said Roy, and they all got ready to fight. But although there was blue lighting, no one showed up.
“I guess it didn’t work,” replied Ike.
“I don’t know…something feels…odd,” said Marth. They continued to walk until night, and then made up camp.
“So, everyone, you remember who you’re going after?” asked Bowser, leading the enemies toward the hero’s camp.
“Yes,” replied everyone. But when they were going to split, Wolf went in a different direction then he was supposed to.
“What are you doing?” asked Ganondorf.
“Going after the big prize, the Ace. If I can get him, the master will be very pleased with me.”
“But he directly said not to go after him, the Ace would be not strong enough to fight him alone after we capture his friends.”
“Screw the orders. I want the big prize for myself.”
The heroes then woke up and heard noises in the forest. They decided to split up, and go find whoever was out there.
Toon Link was searching the forest alone, when he came upon Young Link.
“Don’t you even try to take out the waker,” warned Young Link, and they drew their swords.
“But you’re me, I must spark some memory in you,” replied Toon Link. Young Link did seem a bit shaken. “C’mon, you’re good. You’re me.” At this, Young Link fell to the ground, his eyes a light shade of blue, instead of the intense blue. As he was getting closer to turning normal, a portal opened and he was sucked inside.
Luigi trembled as he searched the forest, wishing he had been in one of groups with 2 people. He knew how it always happened in the movies. The person stopped, and slowly turned around to see the enemy. So he heard footsteps behind him. Luigi stopped. He slowly turned around. And as soon as he saw Bowser, he used his Super Jump Punch, and sent Bowser flying away.
Game and Watch, seeing little purpose in this, went out to try and find whoever it was. He came upon Wario, who shot at him with the blue laser gun. Using his bucket, Game and Watch collected the power, and sent it back at him which, although it kept him hypnotized, sent him flying off into the distance.
Ganondorf drew his sword, and he dueled Link, each unable to get an attack on the other. There was no way for Link to make Ganondorf return to normal, so all he could do was roll away, take out a bomb, and throw it at him. After this, Ganondorf retreated into a portal.
“That was for Young Link! I mean me, who was him…but is me now…or before…or later…or something!”
Marth and Ike found Lucario, who was charging up an aura ball. He was no match for them, because as he attacked one, the person countered, and sent him flying into the other’s attack. After doing this a few times, Lucario fled into a portal.
“Hey, get back here, why are you running away?!?” yelled Ike, ready for a fight.
“My job here is done. You aren’t helping to protect the on we came after, are you?” replied Lucario, before the portal closed.
DK slammed the ground with his palms, and Diddy and Roy flew up into the air.
“AHHH! Not again!” yelled Diddy, and as he spoke, it became harder and harder for DK to stay controlled. After landing, Roy and Diddy charged at DK from both sides, but DK used his giant punch to knock away Roy, then turned around and grabbed Diddy. Diddy yelled, “NO!” At this, DK turned back to normal.
“Little buddy?” he asked, still holding Diddy. But a portal opened, and Lucario pulled the two monkeys through.
Now, everyone was returning to camp, and when Roy got there, he told about the capture. But the group didn’t just lose a member, they gained one.
“Everyone, I’d like to introduce you to the newly good…Wolf,” said Pit, as he and Wolf walked into the camp.
{Subspace}
“Once one member of the heroes was lost, there would be little hope for them, for after that it would be sure that most of the others would be captured, except…”

CHAPTER 37: THE PLAN

(At research facility)
Everyone had now gathered at the facility, except for those who had been captured. Wolf did come with a little distrust, but they soon accepted him like they did Dedede.
“Here’s the plan,” said Mewtwo. “We must build a machine that will allow us to enter subspace at our will. Most of the parts should be around here, but we should secure this place. I’ll need some of you to help build it, some of you to look for the parts, and some of you to guard the building.”
(Outside the facility)
“I don’t see why we just don’t go in there and attack them!” said Bowser, impatient.
“They will send out some of themselves soon, do not worry,” replied Ganondorf. “That way we can attack them one by one.”
“But why did he get the special assignment?”
“He can go faster than us. There they are now.” Two people came out of the building.
(Inside the facility)
Pit and Marth pulled Mewtwo aside.
“What is the prophecy?” asked Pit.
“I think it’s important we know it,” added Marth.
“Well…if you must know. But only you two. If the 7 heard it, the prophecy would turn against us.”
{Subspace}
“for the 7 who would decide the fate of the worlds. They would not be strong in whether moral or strength. The 7 will decide what to do, and unless all are agreed, they will separate and all will be lost to the leader. If they all agree though, the leader may be sent away for more time, only to return again.”
