CHAPTER 25: A SECOND HERO FROM THE SKY
(flashback)
“SoYou know what to do, right?” asked Samus.
“Yeah, yeah. Go warn everybody and then save the world.”
“Right. I’ll meet up with the Ice Climbers and DK, you find Red, Zelda and Jigglypuff.”
“You know he likes you, right?”
“What?”
“You know.”
“Doesn’t matter. Get to them as fast as possible.”
“Yeah I will.”
“I know he does. And when am I ever wrong?”
“When…”
“Don’t answer that.”
(now)
Red, Zelda, and Jigglypuff were walking down a path, with not much to say.
“Soooooo…,” said Red. “Crap!”
“What is it?” asked Zelda.
“Nothing, just an inside joke with one of my friends,” replied Red.
“ok,” replied Zelda. And the 3 again walked on in silence.
“Jigglypuff, you don’t have a trainer, do you?” asked Red.
“No,” replied Jigglypuff.
“So why don’t you get one?” asked Red, reaching toward his belt.
“Well, I like going around wherever I want,” replied Jigglypuff. “And I don’t really like the inside of pokeballs, or what I’ve heard about them.”
“Don’t!” ordered Zelda, as Red was taking out a pokeball.
“Fine…” replied Red. The group was then met by an army of primids, heading for them. They got ready to fight, but an Arwing swooped down from the sky and, barely missing the ground, ran into all the primids. The arwing headed back to the main ship, while the pilot jumped out and landed on the ground.
“Falco!” said Zelda. “I thought you were going to crash.”
“Eh, I knew I wasn’t. And when am I ever wrong?” Falco says. The other 3 are about to speak but he yelled, “SHUT UP!”

CHAPTER 26: WHO’S LEADING WHO?
Toon Link, Pichu, and Diddy were heading toward where they thought Zelda was.
“So what have you been doing since melee?” asked Toon Link.
“Not much….ooohh! I’ve been training so I don’t hurt myself as much!”
“That’s good,” replied Toon Link. “I think this place is really weird.”
“How come?”
“Well, the orange fish…they don’t talk at all!”
“You mean the Magikarp? They’re not supposed to talk.”
“Oh. And the seagulls. You can’t control them can you?”
“no…?”
“That explains it. I told you this place was weird.” Diddy and Pichu looked at each other. “Hey, who are they?” Two figures had appeared on the horizon.
“Hi everyone!” said Olimar as he and Mario approached the group.
“Do you know what’s going on?” asked Mario. “Bowser was more fierce then normal.”
“We were going to see if we could find someone who knew,” replied Toon Link.
“So we might as well join up,” said Olimar.
“Let’s go that way!” said Toon Link and Mari at the same time, pointing in different directions.
“Who says you can tell us what to do?” asked Mario.
“Who says you can?” replied Olimar.
“I’m the main hero!” complained Mario.
“How about we put it up to a vote,” suggested Olimar. “All in favor of having Toon Link as leader, say I.” Diddy, Pichu, and Olimar all said I.
“No fair!” said Mario.
“All right everyone, follow me!” said Toon Link, and they went in the direction he had pointed.

CHAPTER 27: A NOT SO TRANQUIL LAKE
Roy, Ness, and Pit were walking along a lake, planning on resting and getting water before moving on.
“So, how’s it feel to be back?” asked Ness.
“Awesome! I thought I wouldn’t have the chance to fight again,” replied Roy.
“Same here,” said Pit.
“But you were in Brawl,” said Ness.
“Yeah, but I was only in 2 games before that. And it was a long time before Brawl, so I thought I would be done.” The group sat down, but quickly got back up when they heard rustling in the nearby forest. They drew their weapons, and were ready to fight, but it turned out to be none other than Meta Knight and Young Link.
“Behind us, the army,” warned Young Link. Then the army emerged from the forest, and the fight ensued. The army was gone, but their current leader appeared from the forest.
“Bowser!” they all exclaimed at once.
“Hahahahahaha,” he said as he took out the blue laser gun. He shot at the heroes, but to no avail. Just then, though, Rayquaza came out of the lake, and got ready to attack. Everyone turned to look at the pokemon, and Bowser shot at Rayquaza. He hit, and then steeped through a portal, laughing. With blue eyes, Rayquaza made to attack the 5 heroes. Everyone spread out and charged an attack, but Ness, Meta Knight, Roy, and young link were all knocked down quickly. Rayquaza then charged at Pit, who was drawing back his bow. He let the arrow fly, and it hit Rayquaza right between the eyes. Its eyes turned back to normal, and Pit rolled away from it. It went back into the lake, with its head sticking out to talk.
“Thank you for that Pit,” it said.
“You’re…you’re on our side?” asked Ness.
“Of course.”
“But why did you attack us?”
“The gun must have done something to me.”
“But what about last time?”
“My nature tells me to attack whoever disturbs me, so sorry for that.”
“One last question, why are you in this lake?”
“For peace, no one usually bothers me here. That way I can rest.” The 5 heroes decided to leave and find some friends.

CHAPTER 28: TAUNTS AND TROUBLE
Luigi, Game and Watch, and Ike had just exited the mansion.
“Man, I’m glad I’m out of there!” said Luigi, sighing in relief.
“I thought you would have been used to haunted mansions by now,” said Ike.
“No, they freak me out!” replied Luigi. “So how did you guys get here?”
“Well,” said Ike. “I saw Wolf, from brawl, outside the forest and he taunted me. So I ran through the woods after him. He entered the house, so I did too. But I didn’t see him; I only heard something in the basement. But when I went down, I got lost in a maze.”
“I wanted to go in and have fun,” said Game and Watch.
“Why would you…for…what fun would there be…?” Ike and Luigi couldn’t find the right question.
“What?” asked Game and Watch. Just then, another figure appeared.
“Wolf!” yelled Ike, and King Dedede walk out of the forest, laughing.
“I’m gonna beat you right now!” yelled Ike, and he ran after the two enemies. The two headed into the forest.
“Wait!” yelled Luigi. “We shouldn’t go in there!”
“Why not, nothing bad can happen to us, remember?” said Game and Watch. Then the two followed.
Peach, Marth, and Sonic were headed towards where they heard Luigi’s scream. But then, they saw 2 enemies emerge from the forest.
“Bowser and Wario!” exclaimed the princess.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of them!” said Sonic, and he ran towards the two. But Bowser charged up an attack, and sent Sonic flying into the distance. The enemies then ran into a nearby forest.
“We should follow them, even though it probably is a trap,” said Marth. “But we should be able to handle them, just be careful.”
“What about Sonic?” asked Peach.
“He’s probably running back here now, he’ll catch up with us.” And the two went in.
The heroes continued to run deeper and deeper into the forest, when they met up with familiar faces.
“Luigi, you’re ok!”
“Peach!”
“Good to see ya again Ike!”
“Right back at cha!”
“Hey dude, whats up?”
“Not much Sonic, not much.” After the heroes all told their stories, Marth brought up an important point.
“What happened to the bad guys?” But then, the 4 enemies surrounded them, with the koopa army and Dedede’s army. The heroes got ready to fight.

CHAPTER 29: THE STORY
Toon Link and his party were headed for who knows here, looking for somebody to help them.
“Why did no one vote for me as leader?” asked Mario grumpily.
“Maybe because you’re getting too arrogant,” replied Diddy.
“No I’m not, it’s you guys with the problem, I’m perfect!” said Mario.
“Yeah, you’re not arrogant at all,” said Olimar sarcastically.
“So you think we’re going in a good direction?” asked Toon Link.
“I don’t know, I guess,” replied Pichu. Just then, an army of primids appeared and went to attack the group.
“I liked my direction better!” yelled Mario. The 5 fought, but there was just too many of them. When all hope seemed lost (doesn’t it always?), another team of heroes appeared to help. Link slashed one of the primids in between two triforces, Kirby cooked up a few, Pikachu’s jolt tackle took care of a lot, and Mewtwo cast a dark energy ball around each primid, and after they had taken damage, were sent flying. The two groups greeted each other, told their stories, and Toon Link’s group thanked the other.
“It was nothing!” Link said.
“Is anybody hungry?” asked Kirby, holding up a bowl of stew.
“nah…I’m good,” said Mario.
“Everyone, listen up!” said Mewtwo. “I know what’s going on, and now that there are more of us, I’ll tell you.”
“Why didn’t you tell us before?!?” asked Link, not the only one who was surprised.
“It was not the right time,” replied Mewtwo. “Now, let’s find somewhere secluded, so we can talk.” The group went to a clearing in a green forest, and made a fire. As night came, Mewtwo once again called everyone around.
“So, do you all remember the Emmissary, or have heard of it?” asked mewtwo. Everyone nodded. “When it was over, he lost all of his power and was sent away into oblivion. But he must have not been completely defeated. So now, he knew that no one would do his jobs by their own will. They eyes of the enemies, he’s hypnotized them, making the eyes that blue color. So they, if good, would join our side probably. But there are only a few ways to make them good.”
“But if it’s him, why hasn’t he used the bombs?” asked Kirby.
“True, they would add to his power, but it would give us heroes a door to get to him. Right now, he’s closing himself off, so he can’t be attacked,” replied Link. “Right?”
“Exactly. But what I’m worried about,” said Mewtwo, “is that he will be more effective this time. He would not have come back without a plan or the power to succeed in what he failed last time. Once the first of us, the heroes, is lost, it may mean that we will not be able to win again, or at least, it will take different strategies or even different heroes.” Then Mewtwo looked down, sad. If only I had been there, I would have been able to seal him away for longer. Then, Mewtwo looked up quickly. “No……We need to find everyone we can, now.”
“But what about sleep?” asked Pikachu.
“No time for that. We have to go.”

CHAPTER 30: THE SACRIFICE
Lucas, Lucario, and Fox were walking along a path, headed to find more heroes.
“It looks like it’s almost dusk,” commented Fox.
“Guys…what does it take to be a hero?” asked Lucas.
“You’re either born a hero or not, there isn’t much you can do about your triats,” replied Fox, and he walked ahead. Then Lucario walk with Lucas.
“No Lucas, it’s not just that. It’s partly wanting to do the right thing, and partly doing that right thing. You need to do what is right, even if you don’t feel like you could do it. Like, not to be mean or anything, but when you ran away and left Ness with Wario. You probably should have stayed and fought. But it’s even more than that. You have to know when to act on what you know is right, and when to wait for a better opportunity. For example, if a whole army is attacking you in a wide open area, then you should run to a place where there is less space, so they could not all attack you at once.”
“Wow…that’s a lot,” said Lucas.
“It is, but I’m sure you will become a hero someday soon,” replied Lucario.
“Quiet, I hear someone,” ordered Fox, but it turned out to be Snake, Yoshi, R.O.B., and
Captain Falcon. They all got reacquainted, and told of their stories.
“So, you guys don’t know why the enemies are acting the way they are either?” asked Snake.
“I have an idea,” said Lucario. “Mewtwo came up to me and told me that…”
“Mewtwo’s back?” asked Snake’s group simultaneously.
“Yes, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Roy, Pichu, and Young Link were involved too.”
“But what about Dr. Mario?” asked Yoshi.
“If you didn’t notice, he’s just Mario dressed differently,” replied Snake.
“It’s getting dark,” commented R.O.B.
“So anyways,” said Lucario, “Mewtwo said that he was back. And by he, I think we all know who he is.”
“You mean Taboo?” asked Snake.
“Shhhh! Don’t say his name, there’s power in names!” said Yoshi. Then, there was a blue flash, and it sounded like thunder.
“Yeah, right,” replied Snake.
“So he is back, and somehow influencing the bad guys. So we should…” just then, Ganondorf appeared, with an army of the shadow creatures from Twilight Princess behind him.
“He’s ready to see you now,” said Ganondorf.
“I told you there was power in names,” said Yoshi as they all ran.
“Falcon, run!” said Captain Falcon as he started to run.
“Falcon, you don’t have to say that before you do something,” said Snake.
“Guys, lets go into the canyon maze, they won’t all be able to attack us at once in there,” suggested Lucas. Lucario smiled at him.
“The kid has a good idea,” said Snake, and they ran there. Lucas and Lucario were in the back of the group, and were going into the entrance. Some of the minions were on top of the canyon, and were pushing boulders toward the ledge. Seeing that he and Lucas would be killed if he didn’t act, Lucario said, “I know what I have to do.” He then sent an aura ball at Lucas, sending him flying away towards the front group. Lucario was sent back, and also out of the way of the boulders.
“NO!” yelled Lucas, as he ran toward the entrance used to be.
“Lucas go and be safe. There is nothing you can do about this,” said Lucario.
“But you said not to run away,” replied Lucas.
“But I also said to not always do what you feel, but what is right. I can give you guys a little bit of a head start. Now good luck,” said Lucario.
“Sorry kid, but you’re going to have to face it, you can’t save him,” said Snake.
“You can ride on me,” offered Yoshi.
“ok,” replied Lucas, and he got on Yoshi. “But I will save him.”
{Subspace}
“So…they are joining forces once more. Well, it won’t matter. Now I am stronger, and have one of their most valuable members. I do believe he looked good as a trophy.” And Lucario became a trophy. “Then again, there may be a better use for him.” Lucario, alive again and with blue eyes, kneeled.
“What do you want me to do, master?” Taboo smiled.

CHAPTER 31: A MEMBER GAINED
Marth, Peach, Sonic, Luigi, Ike, and Game and Watch started fighting. No one could really tell what was going on, but everyone knew that they had to just keep attacking.
“Owww!” said Luigi, getting hit by something metal.
“Sorry!” apologized Peach, putting away her club.
“That really hurt, why’d you do that?” asked Luigi.
“It was an accident, but you should get tougher.” Then, a second later she said, “Hey, that’s hot!”
“Sorry, it was an accident.”
“But that was on purpose.”
“You should just be tougher!”
“Ike, you know what to do, right?” asked Marth.
“Yep, this is way too easy!” replied Ike.
“Just like it was back in the fighting days.”
Game and Watch lazily was flipping pancakes to hold off the enemies, while Sonic ran as fast as he could to attack them all.
“Hurry up, we’ve got to beat them!” said Sonic.
“Ehh, don’t worry,” replied Game and Watch.
“If things get too tough, someone will come to save us,” replied Game and Watch. Ironically, just then…
(flashback)
Pit, Meta Knight, Young Link, Roy, and Ness were walking away from the lake, through the forest.
“Hmm. The forest is getting pretty dark. I like it,” said Meta Knight.
“So how do we fight the army?” asked Young Link.
“Well, you know how my arrow turned Rayquaza good, right?” asked Pit. “I think the same thing will happen to the others if I hit them with the arrow.”
“But that can’t be the only way, can it?” asked Roy.
“No, no I don’t think so,” replied Pit. “There’s got to be another way.”
“There’s probably some unique ways too, depending on where they are from,” suggested Ness.
“Yeah,” replied Pit. “Hey, what’s that noise?” asked they went to investigate.
(real time)
“Guys!” exclaimed Peach. Pit, Meta Knight, Young link, Roy and Ness had just appeared to help. Seeing that they were outnumbered, the enemies decided to just leave. A portal opened and Wario stepped trough. Pit, though, shot an arrow which hit King Dedede and Bowser. They shook their heads and got up, wondering what was going on. But Wolf grabbed Bowser, and dragged him through the portal before it closed.
“What’s going on?” asked King Dedede.
“He was controlling you,” replied Meta Knight. “So do you want to get back at him?”
“Yeah!” said King Dedede. Everyone told what had happened to them, and Pit made a decision.
“I think we should split up to look for more friends and then head to the research facility. Maybe we can find out how to get to him there.”
“I agree,’ said Marth, and soon, everyone said the same.
“So it’s decided,” said Peach. “Pit Luigi Game & Watch Roy Ike and Marth will head to the east, and Young Meta Knight Dedede Ness Sonic and I will go west.” Then the two parties set off.

CHAPTER 32: A MEMBER LOST
After Falco came into the group, it seemed like there were 3 leaders; everyone but Jigglypuff. She didn’t seem to care though, that the others fought over decisions. She would just go on her happy way; her only goal to help out. She did have something to prove though, that she was not a useless member of the roster. Ever since the original, she had always been called either cheap or worthless. Even during the emissary, she had not played an important role, which she was disappointed in. But her time would come. And although it may have to be a personal loss, she would do anything to prove herself as a valuable member.
At the moment, the other 3 were arguing about where to go.
“I say we go toward the mountains!” said Falco. “That’s where Samus said she would meet DK and the Climbers.”
“But that means they should be fine, so we should go south towards the forest!” retorted Zelda.
“Aww, you just want to go see Link!” yelled Falco. “I’m telling you its better if we go find Samus!”
“Maybe we should just go attack ourselves!” suggested Red. Falco and Zelda both didn’t like the idea.
“We need more heroes!” they both exclaimed.
“Who’s that?” asked Jigglypuff, when she saw 4 figures coming over the horizon. It turned out to be DK, Samus, and the Ice Climbers. Everyone got reacquainted, and quickly decided what we would do next. Well, almost quickly.
“So we’re going down to the forest, right?” asked Zelda.
“Yeah, that’s probably where a lot of the heroes are,” replied Falco.
“What about going to the canyons?” asked Samus.
Falco looked at her, and then made the decision. “No, there will probably be more people at the forest.”
“Maybe Diddy will be there,” suggested Popo to DK.
“Yeah, he would probably be in a forest,” replied DK. “But he should be fine. Who knows? Maybe we’ll end up finding someone else too.”
“I hope,” said Samus. Then she shook her head. “We’ve got to get moving.” And so the group went. They were headed south, to the forest, to try and find more friends, when Ganondorf appeared.
“I’ll get you all,” he said, and took out the laser gun. Everyone in the group stood ready to attack.
“Anyone know if we can make him normal?” asked Samus.
“There’s got to be a way, I know it. And when am I ever wrong?” Falco replied. After they tried all of their attack, nothing seemed to work. That is, they tried everything but Nayru’s love. But no one could get that close to Ganondorf.
“You were saying?” asked Zelda, transforming into Shiek. As the fight went on, everyone seemed to be tiring, even Ganondorf. So everyone surrounded Ganondorf, and attempted to attack. But Ganondorf dodged their attacks and sent the heroes flying away, but still within sight. The last to try and attack was DK, who was charging up a giant punch. But Ganondorf took out the laser gun, shot DK, and opened a portal. The two then stepped through the portal.
“They got DK,” said Nana, astounded. No one else could speak.
“Let’s go, we’ve got to move on,” said Falco, and everyone left.

He let the arrow fly, and it hit Rayquaza right between the eyes. Its eyes turned back to normal, and Pit rolled away from it. It went back into the lake, with its head sticking out to talk.
“Thank you for that Pit,” it said.
“You’re…you’re on our side?” asked Ness.
“Of course.”
“But why did you attack us?”
“The gun must have done something to me.”
“But what about last time?”
“My nature tells me to attack whoever disturbs me, so sorry for that.”
“One last question, why are you in this lake?”
“For peace, no one usually bothers me here. That way I can rest.” The 5 heroes decided to leave and find some friends.

CHAPTER 28: TAUNTS AND TROUBLE
Luigi, Game and Watch, and Ike had just exited the mansion.
“Man, I’m glad I’m out of there!” said Luigi, sighing in relief.
“I thought you would have been used to haunted mansions by now,” said Ike.
“No, they freak me out!” replied Luigi. “So how did you guys get here?”
“Well,” said Ike. “I saw Wolf, from brawl, outside the forest and he taunted me. So I ran through the woods after him. He entered the house, so I did too. But I didn’t see him; I only heard something in the basement. But when I went down, I got lost in a maze.”
“I wanted to go in and have fun,” said Game and Watch.
“Why would you…for…what fun would there be…?” Ike and Luigi couldn’t find the right question.
“What?” asked Game and Watch. Just then, another figure appeared.
“Wolf!” yelled Ike, and King Dedede walk out of the forest, laughing.
“I’m gonna beat you right now!” yelled Ike, and he ran after the two enemies. The two headed into the forest.
“Wait!” yelled Luigi. “We shouldn’t go in there!”
“Why not, nothing bad can happen to us, remember?” said Game and Watch. Then the two followed.
Peach, Marth, and Sonic were headed towards where they heard Luigi’s scream. But then, they saw 2 enemies emerge from the forest.
“Bowser and Wario!” exclaimed the princess.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of them!” said Sonic, and he ran towards the two. But Bowser charged up an attack, and sent Sonic flying into the distance. The enemies then ran into a nearby forest.
“We should follow them, even though it probably is a trap,” said Marth. “But we should be able to handle them, just be careful.”
“What about Sonic?” asked Peach.
“He’s probably running back here now, he’ll catch up with us.” And the two went in.
The heroes continued to run deeper and deeper into the forest, when they met up with familiar faces.
“Luigi, you’re ok!”
“Peach!”
“Good to see ya again Ike!”
“Right back at cha!”
“Hey dude, whats up?”
“Not much Sonic, not much.” After the heroes all told their stories, Marth brought up an important point.
“What happened to the bad guys?” But then, the 4 enemies surrounded them, with the koopa army and Dedede’s army. The heroes got ready to fight.

CHAPTER 29: THE STORY
Toon Link and his party were headed for who knows here, looking for somebody to help them.
“Why did no one vote for me as leader?” asked Mario grumpily.
“Maybe because you’re getting too arrogant,” replied Diddy.
“No I’m not, it’s you guys with the problem, I’m perfect!” said Mario.
“Yeah, you’re not arrogant at all,” said Olimar sarcastically.
“So you think we’re going in a good direction?” asked Toon Link.
“I don’t know, I guess,” replied Pichu. Just then, an army of primids appeared and went to attack the group.
“I liked my direction better!” yelled Mario. The 5 fought, but there was just too many of them. When all hope seemed lost (doesn’t it always?), another team of heroes appeared to help. Link slashed one of the primids in between two triforces, Kirby cooked up a few, Pikachu’s jolt tackle took care of a lot, and Mewtwo cast a dark energy ball around each primid, and after they had taken damage, were sent flying. The two groups greeted each other, told their stories, and Toon Link’s group thanked the other.
“It was nothing!” Link said.
“Is anybody hungry?” asked Kirby, holding up a bowl of stew.
“nah…I’m good,” said Mario.
“Everyone, listen up!” said Mewtwo. “I know what’s going on, and now that there are more of us, I’ll tell you.”
“Why didn’t you tell us before?!?” asked Link, not the only one who was surprised.
“It was not the right time,” replied Mewtwo. “Now, let’s find somewhere secluded, so we can talk.” The group went to a clearing in a green forest, and made a fire. As night came, Mewtwo once again called everyone around.
“So, do you all remember the Emmissary, or have heard of it?” asked mewtwo. Everyone nodded. “When it was over, he lost all of his power and was sent away into oblivion. But he must have not been completely defeated. So now, he knew that no one would do his jobs by their own will. They eyes of the enemies, he’s hypnotized them, making the eyes that blue color. So they, if good, would join our side probably. But there are only a few ways to make them good.”
“But if it’s him, why hasn’t he used the bombs?” asked Kirby.
“True, they would add to his power, but it would give us heroes a door to get to him. Right now, he’s closing himself off, so he can’t be attacked,” replied Link. “Right?”
“Exactly. But what I’m worried about,” said Mewtwo, “is that he will be more effective this time. He would not have come back without a plan or the power to succeed in what he failed last time. Once the first of us, the heroes, is lost, it may mean that we will not be able to win again, or at least, it will take different strategies or even different heroes.” Then Mewtwo looked down, sad. If only I had been there, I would have been able to seal him away for longer. Then, Mewtwo looked up quickly. “No……We need to find everyone we can, now.”
“But what about sleep?” asked Pikachu.
“No time for that. We have to go.”

CHAPTER 30: THE SACRIFICE
Lucas, Lucario, and Fox were walking along a path, headed to find more heroes.
“It looks like it’s almost dusk,” commented Fox.
“Guys…what does it take to be a hero?” asked Lucas.
“You’re either born a hero or not, there isn’t much you can do about your triats,” replied Fox, and he walked ahead. Then Lucario walk with Lucas.
“No Lucas, it’s not just that. It’s partly wanting to do the right thing, and partly doing that right thing. You need to do what is right, even if you don’t feel like you could do it. Like, not to be mean or anything, but when you ran away and left Ness with Wario. You probably should have stayed and fought. But it’s even more than that. You have to know when to act on what you know is right, and when to wait for a better opportunity. For example, if a whole army is attacking you in a wide open area, then you should run to a place where there is less space, so they could not all attack you at once.”
“Wow…that’s a lot,” said Lucas.
“It is, but I’m sure you will become a hero someday soon,” replied Lucario.
“Quiet, I hear someone,” ordered Fox, but it turned out to be Snake, Yoshi, R.O.B., and
Captain Falcon. They all got reacquainted, and told of their stories.
“So, you guys don’t know why the enemies are acting the way they are either?” asked Snake.
“I have an idea,” said Lucario. “Mewtwo came up to me and told me that…”
“Mewtwo’s back?” asked Snake’s group simultaneously.
“Yes, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Roy, Pichu, and Young Link were involved too.”
“But what about Dr. Mario?” asked Yoshi.
“If you didn’t notice, he’s just Mario dressed differently,” replied Snake.
“It’s getting dark,” commented R.O.B.
“So anyways,” said Lucario, “Mewtwo said that he was back. And by he, I think we all know who he is.”
“You mean Taboo?” asked Snake.
“Shhhh! Don’t say his name, there’s power in names!” said Yoshi. Then, there was a blue flash, and it sounded like thunder.
“Yeah, right,” replied Snake.
“So he is back, and somehow influencing the bad guys. So we should…” just then, Ganondorf appeared, with an army of the shadow creatures from Twilight Princess behind him.
“He’s ready to see you now,” said Ganondorf.
“I told you there was power in names,” said Yoshi as they all ran.
“Falcon, run!” said Captain Falcon as he started to run.
“Falcon, you don’t have to say that before you do something,” said Snake.
“Guys, lets go into the canyon maze, they won’t all be able to attack us at once in there,” suggested Lucas. Lucario smiled at him.
“The kid has a good idea,” said Snake, and they ran there. Lucas and Lucario were in the back of the group, and were going into the entrance. Some of the minions were on top of the canyon, and were pushing boulders toward the ledge. Seeing that he and Lucas would be killed if he didn’t act, Lucario said, “I know what I have to do.” He then sent an aura ball at Lucas, sending him flying away towards the front group. Lucario was sent back, and also out of the way of the boulders.
“NO!” yelled Lucas, as he ran toward the entrance used to be.
“Lucas go and be safe. There is nothing you can do about this,” said Lucario.
“But you said not to run away,” replied Lucas.
“But I also said to not always do what you feel, but what is right. I can give you guys a little bit of a head start. Now good luck,” said Lucario.
“Sorry kid, but you’re going to have to face it, you can’t save him,” said Snake.
“You can ride on me,” offered Yoshi.
“ok,” replied Lucas, and he got on Yoshi. “But I will save him.”
{Subspace}
“So…they are joining forces once more. Well, it won’t matter. Now I am stronger, and have one of their most valuable members. I do believe he looked good as a trophy.” And Lucario became a trophy. “Then again, there may be a better use for him.” Lucario, alive again and with blue eyes, kneeled.
“What do you want me to do, master?” Taboo smiled.

CHAPTER 31: A MEMBER GAINED
Marth, Peach, Sonic, Luigi, Ike, and Game and Watch started fighting. No one could really tell what was going on, but everyone knew that they had to just keep attacking.
“Owww!” said Luigi, getting hit by something metal.
“Sorry!” apologized Peach, putting away her club.
“That really hurt, why’d you do that?” asked Luigi.
“It was an accident, but you should get tougher.” Then, a second later she said, “Hey, that’s hot!”
“Sorry, it was an accident.”
“But that was on purpose.”
“You should just be tougher!”
“Ike, you know what to do, right?” asked Marth.
“Yep, this is way too easy!” replied Ike.
“Just like it was back in the fighting days.”
Game and Watch lazily was flipping pancakes to hold off the enemies, while Sonic ran as fast as he could to attack them all.
“Hurry up, we’ve got to beat them!” said Sonic.
“Ehh, don’t worry,” replied Game and Watch.
“If things get too tough, someone will come to save us,” replied Game and Watch. Ironically, just then…
(flashback)
Pit, Meta Knight, Young Link, Roy, and Ness were walking away from the lake, through the forest.
“Hmm. The forest is getting pretty dark. I like it,” said Meta Knight.
“So how do we fight the army?” asked Young Link.
“Well, you know how my arrow turned Rayquaza good, right?” asked Pit. “I think the same thing will happen to the others if I hit them with the arrow.”
“But that can’t be the only way, can it?” asked Roy.
“No, no I don’t think so,” replied Pit. “There’s got to be another way.”
“There’s probably some unique ways too, depending on where they are from,” suggested Ness.
“Yeah,” replied Pit. “Hey, what’s that noise?” asked they went to investigate.
(real time)
“Guys!” exclaimed Peach. Pit, Meta Knight, Young link, Roy and Ness had just appeared to help. Seeing that they were outnumbered, the enemies decided to just leave. A portal opened and Wario stepped trough. Pit, though, shot an arrow which hit King Dedede and Bowser. They shook their heads and got up, wondering what was going on. But Wolf grabbed Bowser, and dragged him through the portal before it closed.
“What’s going on?” asked King Dedede.
“He was controlling you,” replied Meta Knight. “So do you want to get back at him?”
“Yeah!” said King Dedede. Everyone told what had happened to them, and Pit made a decision.
“I think we should split up to look for more friends and then head to the research facility. Maybe we can find out how to get to him there.”
“I agree,’ said Marth, and soon, everyone said the same.
“So it’s decided,” said Peach. “Pit Luigi Game & Watch Roy Ike and Marth will head to the east, and Young Meta Knight Dedede Ness Sonic and I will go west.” Then the two parties set off.

CHAPTER 32: A MEMBER LOST
After Falco came into the group, it seemed like there were 3 leaders; everyone but Jigglypuff. She didn’t seem to care though, that the others fought over decisions. She would just go on her happy way; her only goal to help out. She did have something to prove though, that she was not a useless member of the roster. Ever since the original, she had always been called either cheap or worthless. Even during the emissary, she had not played an important role, which she was disappointed in. But her time would come. And although it may have to be a personal loss, she would do anything to prove herself as a valuable member.
At the moment, the other 3 were arguing about where to go.
“I say we go toward the mountains!” said Falco. “That’s where Samus said she would meet DK and the Climbers.”
“But that means they should be fine, so we should go south towards the forest!” retorted Zelda.
“Aww, you just want to go see Link!” yelled Falco. “I’m telling you its better if we go find Samus!”
“Maybe we should just go attack ourselves!” suggested Red. Falco and Zelda both didn’t like the idea.
“We need more heroes!” they both exclaimed.
“Who’s that?” asked Jigglypuff, when she saw 4 figures coming over the horizon. It turned out to be DK, Samus, and the Ice Climbers. Everyone got reacquainted, and quickly decided what we would do next. Well, almost quickly.
“So we’re going down to the forest, right?” asked Zelda.
“Yeah, that’s probably where a lot of the heroes are,” replied Falco.
“What about going to the canyons?” asked Samus.
Falco looked at her, and then made the decision. “No, there will probably be more people at the forest.”
“Maybe Diddy will be there,” suggested Popo to DK.
“Yeah, he would probably be in a forest,” replied DK. “But he should be fine. Who knows? Maybe we’ll end up finding someone else too.”
“I hope,” said Samus. Then she shook her head. “We’ve got to get moving.” And so the group went. They were headed south, to the forest, to try and find more friends, when Ganondorf appeared.
“I’ll get you all,” he said, and took out the laser gun. Everyone in the group stood ready to attack.
“Anyone know if we can make him normal?” asked Samus.
“There’s got to be a way, I know it. And when am I ever wrong?” Falco replied. After they tried all of their attack, nothing seemed to work. That is, they tried everything but Nayru’s love. But no one could get that close to Ganondorf.
“You were saying?” asked Zelda, transforming into Shiek. As the fight went on, everyone seemed to be tiring, even Ganondorf. So everyone surrounded Ganondorf, and attempted to attack. But Ganondorf dodged their attacks and sent the heroes flying away, but still within sight. The last to try and attack was DK, who was charging up a giant punch. But Ganondorf took out the laser gun, shot DK, and opened a portal. The two then stepped through the portal.
“They got DK,” said Nana, astounded. No one else could speak.
“Let’s go, we’ve got to move on,” said Falco, and everyone left.
