CHAPTER 14: REBUILT
Red had just asked Zelda about her and Link.
“Well…I…kinda…you mean the oldest Link right?”
“Yeah.”
“Well…I’d like us to be. But we aren’t really together.”
“Oh…I was just wondering is all.”
“OK.” The two continued on in silence, and were headed toward another town. Just outside, they saw people gathered around a sign that said: Pokemon Stadium 1 has been completed, the first tournament will be held tomorrow.
“Great” said Red. “I can’t believe that Snake blew it up though…” Then, the crowd yelled, and they saw Wolf behind them.
“You again!” yelled Red.
“You bet!” said Wolf, pulling out the gun.
Red raised a pokeball above his head. “I challenge you to a ba…” Red started, but Wolf shot a bolt, and Zelda pushed him out of the way.
“This is the real world,” said Zelda. “You don’t have time for challenges or anything. Red threw out Ivysaur and Zelda got ready to fight. Zelda sent out Din’s Fire, destroying the gun. Ivysaur charged, and whacked him around with vine whip. They were about to finish him off, when someone else did. Wolf was sent flying into the distance. After watching him fly away, Red and Zelda looked to their helper.
“Jiggly!”

CHAPTER 15: A CURT WELCOME
'I think its time I return’ thought one character. He tried to decide who the best person to meet up with would be. ‘No, they’re fine right now. I never really was fond of either of the monkeys…maybe…nah; they’re going to be safe. Him. He’s alone. He would be best.’
The character then set off to find his new partner in this adventure. Even though he would be able to get there more quickly, it would be of a disadvantage; he would just send more adversaries. It would be best to go more slowly.
On the way, he met little resistance, and got rid of the enemy quickly. Then, he came upon the new ally. He was slashing with his sword, dispelling the enemy quite well. But that would not do, more and more were approaching.
The hero clad in green was fighting, but he saw more of the enemy approaching. ‘Jump’ his instincts said, and because his instincts were usually right, he jumped. But this was no instinct. A purple energy ball sailed under him, destroy a lot of the enemy forces.
“Ready to fight?” asked Mewtwo to Link, as he landed on the ground.
“Yep,” replied Link.
The two fought together, and soon there were no enemies left.
“So where have you been?” asked Link, as they walked to find other heroes.
“Training,” replied Mewtwo.
“Ok….so yeah, are you mad you weren’t in brawl?”
“Kind of.”
“I really thought you would be in, I mean…”
“Shut up, we have work to do.”
“Ok…” and the two walked off.

CHAPTER 16: CONFESSIONS
The two were riding on, on the horses, unsure of where to go.
“So who else knows again?” asked Marth.
“Luigi and Kirby,” replied Peach. “We should probably try to find Luigi first; I think Kirby would be able to handle himself on his own more.”
“Yeah, Luigi’s noble, but a little too…”
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” the two heard a yell coming from the Northwest.
“You think that’s him?” asked Marth.
“I’m sure of it, I’ve heard that scream before,” said Peach.
“Then we better go to find him,” replied Marth, and they headed in that direction. They rode on for a while longer in silence, not having much to say.
“How much further will it be?” asked Peach, breaking the silence.
“I don’t know I don’t see anything close by…” said Marth. “So, my friend said that when she found you, you were hiding in a tree. Why?”
“I wasn’t hiding,” said Peach, defensively.
“Ok…” Marth replied, disbelieving.
“Well…honestly, I thought the people coming would be bad, so I hid.”
“But why didn’t you want to tell me about it?”
“I don’t know…I just don’t want to be known as scared. It shows weakness.”
“I know that leaders, like princes and princesses, are not supposed to show weakness, but sometimes it can be good. People like that their ruler has feelings like them, and isn’t just…like a robot. No offence to R.O.B. of course…”
“Of course…” then, the two were suddenly surrounded by Bytans, the duplicating enemy that looked like electrode.
They got off their horses and got ready to fight. Marth drew his sword, and Peach drew her turnip. But there were 5 there, all spread out. So Peach and Marth would be able to destroy 2 or 3 together, while the others multiplied.
“I always hated these guys,” said Peach, destroying one.
“Yeah…I just moved past them, it was useless to try and fight them,” said Marth.
“We probably couldn’t ride past them this time, can we?” asked Peach.
“No, especially since our horses are running away,” and indeed they were.
“How are we gonna beat them all?” asked Peach.
“Easy,” someone said.
“Then how?” Peach asked Marth.
“I didn’t say that…” he replied. Then, the two saw a blue blur rush into the Bytans. They were all destroyed now.
“Where are you guys going?” asked Sonic.
“Well…” and Peach explained.
“So we better get to that house,” said Sonic, ready to run.
“But…wait for us,” requested Marth.

CHAPTER 17: BACK FROM SEA
A character was standing at the bow of his sailboat, heading toward the shore. He had heard of the trouble the rest of the heroes were having, and was coming to help. He had been sailing for days, but with no sign of land.
“It’s really boring here,” said Toon Link. “I mean, no one to talk to on the open sea, it would have been better if Tetra could have come along. But at least I’m not crazy.” He spotted a fish in the ocean. “You don’t think I’m crazy, do you?” he asked the fish. The Magikarp just started back at him. “Why don’t the fish talk around here? That’s really freaky.” A Wingull then flew by. “Ohh! I know how I’ll try and find land.” Toon Link put a pear on top of his head, and posed. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the gull landed on the boat, and waited to be fed. Toon Link gave it the pear, and it flew away. “Why am I not controlling you?!?” Toon Link yelled. He didn’t like this new place, it was too…different then the Great Sea. “Finally,” he said, as he saw land come into view. On the shore, there were more of the seagulls he had seen earlier and some more creatures like that.
So Toon Link jumped off the boat, and walked up the shore. A lot of the people looked at him weirdly because of his weapons, but he got through the beach with no problem. Toon Link was hungry, but didn’t have any of the money used there. So, naturally, he decided to look for money. But as he began cutting the grass and chopping down signs, until a police officer came to arrest him. He was about to be taken away, when a creature came.
“He’s with me. We’ve got to find our friends. But he’s not from around here, so he doesn’t know what to do.” The officer looked at the Pokémon, and apparently trusted him. So she let Toon Link go, and the two walked off.
“So, who are you anyways?” asked Toon Link.
“Pichu!” said the pokemon.
The two talked, and got up to date on everything that was going on in the world right then.
“I guess we have to go find everyone else like you did last time, right?” asked Pichu.
“Yep…we can start with…” Toon Link started. They then met Diddy, coming out of a forest.

CHAPTER 18: THE LANDING
[img src="[/img]"]
In his ship, he was flying around the world looking for spots of trouble. Why did they give this job to ME?!? He wondered traveling still. Its way too boring, there’s no action, no nothing. But things were about to change for him. Just then, he saw a young boy, fighting off some primids he remembered from the emissary. He set the ship to land in the nearest clearing. He then made his way to the escape hatch, to go help the young boy.
The boy was fighting off the enemy as best he could, but it seemed like there were too many. He was used to fighting off enemy, but not this many at once. And worse yet, he had never seen them before. Usually when I meet a new enemy there’s only 1 of them unless they’re easy. But these guys seem pretty strong. The boy made a hole in the circle of enemies once surrounding him, and ran through the forest, trying to find a more advantageous place to fight.
The character was making his way through the ship, and soon made it to the hatch. He jumped out, and plummeted toward the ground. He was not afraid of doing that, as he did that often. But some of the bird enemies came, and began pecking at him. He drew his sword, and began slicing at the enemies. As he fell into the trees, and noticed the boy was gone.
The young boy had run to the nearest clearing so he would have more room to work. He attacked the enemies, but it seemed futile. But just then, another hero came into the clearing, wielding a sword, and slashed at the primids. The newcomer threw out his cape and trapped one of the primids. The rest were then suddenly slashed, and all of them disappeared. But behind the newcomer were more of the bird enemies. The young boy took out his slingshot, and hit all of the birds. As the battleship Halberd came toward the clearing, the two moved out of the way.
“Who are you?” asked the young boy.
“Meta Knight. And I assume you’re Young Link?”
“Yep. Who were those enemies?”
“I’ll catch you up,” said Meta Knight, and the two walked off.

CHAPTER 19: A DARK PARK
“I don’t get why people are scared of us,” said Kirby, walking through a park, with many humans there.
“Me neither,” said Pikachu. Everyone was looking at them as if they were freaks. The two were being avoided. Then, purple clouds filled the sky. Everyone in the park ran away, all but Pikachu and Kirby. They stood back-to-back, ready for whoever was coming.
“You see anyone?” asked Kirby.
“Nope,” replied Pikachu. Then a lone figure came walking out of a forest at the edge of the park. He was holding a sword, and walking slowly toward the two.
“There!” yelled Pikachu, and the two ran to attack.
“Wait!” yelled Link, as he sheathed his sword.
“Link!” they both yelled as they ran up to him.
“What’s going on?” asked Kirby.
“I’ve come with someone you may remember. Do you know what’s going on?”
“You mean about him?” asked Pikachu.
“yep,” replied Link
“Then yeah…but who is your friend?” asked Kirby.
“Me,” said Mewtwo, as he appeared. “I made this illusion so they believe that it is under control and that you are being attack right now.”
“I don’t think it worked…” Pikachu said as they saw members of the army attacking.
“They were probably just reinforcements, we can take them,” said Link. The four went out to attack. They easily took care of the enemy, and Mewtwo made things return to normal. Then Mewtwo spoke again,
“Some friends are heading toward us, we should meet them.” And he floated away.
“What’s his problem?” asked Pikachu.
“I don’t know,” replied Link. “He’s been like this since I met him.”
“Well, at least he’s on our side,” said Kirby. The other two agreed, and they walked north, toward the ones who would join them.

CHAPTER 20: A SMASH HIT
Snake, R.O.B., and Yoshi were leaving the forest, to find the others.
‘Hopfully I’ll get someone more competent than these two,’ thought Snake walking along. R.O.B. and Yoshi were talking about what they had been doing since the emissary.
“You know, I was kind of spectacle about you joining the roster, but I like you,” said Yoshi.
“I wonder if I’ll be in the next game,” said R.O.B. robotically.
“I don’t know…but you have a unique moveset,” replied Yoshi.
“So did Mewtwo,” R.O.B. pointed out. In the distance, some of the sky turned purple.
“Do you want to go find out what that is?” asked Yoshi.
“No, we stay on our course,” was the first thing Snake had said in a while.
“ok…” said Yoshi, and the group walked on.
They were approaching a city by the looks of it, it was very high tech. There was one road everyone was crowded around; watching what appeared to be nothing. But then, a blur of cars rushed by and the people cheered.
“Must be him,” said Snake. “We wait until the race is done.”
“You mean Falcon?” asked Yoshi.
“Yep,” replied Snake. But then, on the other side of the track, King Dedede led a bunch of Waddle Dee’s toward Snake’s group. They got ready to fight, but they didn’t need to. As Dedede and some of his minions were crossing the street, as the races were coming back around. The enemies were sent flying into the air.
“Now that’s what I’m talking about!” said Snake, and the three waited for the match to finish.
“Is that who I thought I saw?” asked Captain Falcon, coming out of his ship. “So what’d I miss?” The three informed Falcon of what happened. “We better get going then.” And the four headed off toward the east.
On their way there, they met up with three of the heroes. Two animal-like creatures and a young boy joined them.

CHAPTER 21: SPLIT IN THE ICE
“Hi Popo! Hi Nana!” DK had just met up with the Ice Climbers.
“What’s up?” Popo asked. “Yeah,” echoed Nana.
“Well, Dedede had these weird eyes and he came after me again, like Bowser did during the Emissary.”
“You want us to help,” asked Popo. “Yeah we could help,” said Nana.
“That’s what I need, help,” replied DK. “But why are you two always answer right after each other?”
“I don’t know,” said Nana. “Me neither,” said Popo. DK sighed.
“Let’s go,” he said and led them around the forest. “You know, you guys should really get more independent.”
“What do you mean,” asked Popo. “By independent,” finished Nana.
“Nevermind,” said DK. The group walks on for some time, but is stopped by a familiar figure.
“Ganondorf,” said DK, looking at the gun he had.
“Yes, its me.” He said, shooting the gun. After missing with a dozen shots, things were looking bad for Ganondorf. But he had forced them into a cave. The cave was dark and gloomy, but more importantly, there was a Y shape tunnel intersection.
“If I can’t win, then I might as well make them lose!” Ganondorf said, and he shot at rocks on the ceiling of the cave. Everyone dove out of the way. But when the dust cleared, Ganondorf was gone, and DK and Popo were separated from Nana.
“Popo!”
“Nana!”

CHAPTER 22: NAP TIME IS OVER
Mario (who was supposed to be attending the party, remember?) was lying on a hammock, relaxing in the sun. Maybe I should have gone to that party, thought Mario, with his cap over his eyes. But no, I deserve a break. It’s hard work being a hero. But his nap was about to be interrupted by an old nemesis. Bowser, fell down from the sky, and roared at Mario. Mario looked up, and saw Bowser. He got up, relaxed, and walked toward him.
“Did you come to tell me you took Peach again?” asked Mario.
Bowser roared again.
“Oh, I get it. You’re trying to be tough,” Mario replied, not scared. “Did you get new contacts?” Mario had just noticed the completely blue eyes.
Bowser again roared, and pulled out the blue laser gun.
“You have a new weapon?” asked Mario. “It looks a lot like the trophy gun.” Bowser then shot at Mario, but missed.
“Not bad,” said Mario. “But you have to be better.” Just then, 6 newcomers appeared behind Mario, but he didn’t see them. Bowser once again shot, once again missed Mario, but it hit 5 of the newcomers.
“What happened to my Pikmin?” asked Captain Olimar. The Pikmin now had blue eyes, and were walking toward Bowser as if in a trance.
“Go get them you fools!” yelled Bowser, and the Pikmin turned around to go after the two heroes.
“This is serious?” asked Mario.
“It’s always serious,” replied Olimar. “Pikmin! Stop now!” but his yells were in vain. Bowser was charging up the gun again, and the Pikmin still heading for Mario and Olimar.
“So how do we stop them?” Mario asked.
“I know!” and Olimar blew on the whistle, calling them back. After hearing their true master’s call, their eyes turned back to normal. Bowser was stunned. He was then grabbed and thrown away.
“That’ll teach you not to mess with me!” Mario said, and Olimar just shook his head. They then headed off to find out what was going on.

CHAPTER 23: TIME TO GET OUT
“Relax, I’m sure no one else is in here,” said Game and Watch.
“Yeah, that’s what they always say,” replied Luigi, and he looked around, scared.
“Its probably all in your head,” said Game and Watch, trying to be positive.
“Why are you so optimistic?” asked Luigi.
“I don’t know, I always have been,” said Game and Watch. “We should find something that could break down a wall so we could get out.”
“Couldn’t you just use your hammer?” asked Luigi.
“I’ve already tried it.” And the two started walking around the house.
“So…what have you been doing since the Emissary?”
“Not much. Since I haven’t had a game since then, so I’ve earned money by working at SoF.”
“What’s that?”
“Shack of Flapjacks.”
“Oh ok. I really haven’t had much to do either. I haven’t had another game, but I’m kind of glad, my last one was scary.”
Ike swung his sword, and the door exploded. He was making his way through the basement of an old house.
“Why can’t my sword break the walls?” he wondered aloud. “It should be strong enough.” He continued through the basement, and saw a note scribbled on a napkin.
“If the house gets mad with you again, the key is in the attic,” read Ike. “Great.” Ike searched the basement for the way out. He ended up in a maze of boxes stacked to the ceiling. But Ike wasn’t good at mazes or other things you had to sit down and think about. He would rather just get through it already. So Ike slashed the boxes and found the way upstairs.
Luigi and Game and Watch were trying to find a way out, and decided that the best way would be to go to a different floor.
“But I don’t want to go to the basement or attic, that’s where the monster always is,” Luigi complained.
“Well, we have to do it. You go to the basement, I’ll go to the attic,” Game and Watch replied. As Luigi headed down the stairs, Ike came running up it, ready to attack it with his sword.
“Luigi!” he said, startled, seeing the man in green atop the stairs.
“Ike…Game and Watch is here too. He was gonna look up in the attic.”
“Perfect…that’s where the key is.” Luigi and Ike met up with Game and Watch in the attic, where he was holding a key.
“Hey, this was mine!” he said. The three went out the front door, and prepared for whatever or whoever was going to come their way next.

CHAPTER 24: HEADED FOR FRIENDS
DK and Popo were making their way through the cave, hoping to find a way out. Popo seemed to be scared without Nana, both for her and for himself.
“I’ve rarely ever been away from her in my life,” said Popo.
“Then how do you go to the bathroom?” asked DK.
“No, we don’t go to the bathroom together,” replied Popo. “But I know where she is. Now she could be anywhere in this cave! How do you know Diddy is ok and don’t worry about him?”
“Of course I’m worried about him, but I know he can handle himself, especially after the emissary. This is what I meant about becoming more independent. You have to trust that Nana can handle herself. And she can.”
“ok.”
Nana was making her way through the tunnel, also as scared as Popo. After walking for some time, she heard the sound of metal hitting metal.
“Who’s there?” asked Nana. She pulled out her mallet to protect herself, but it would have done little good, the way her arms were shaking. She wouldn’t need it though, as she saw who was coming around the corner.
“Samus!”
“Nana! Where’s Popo?”
“We got separated. Something weird is going on…”
“I think I know some of what’s going on. But now let’s go find Popo.”
“And DK.”
At the mouth of the tunnel, the 4 met up.
“Popo!”
“Nana!”
“DK!”
“Samus!”
“I think what’s going on is that he’s back,” said Samus.
“But how?” asked Nana.
“I don’t know. But he must have some new tricks up his sleeve, if he somehow came back and wanted to attack.”
“Does anyone else know about him?” asked DK.
“Some. I was actually talking to one person who was going to meet up with Red, Zelda, and Jigglypuff. We should probably go meet them.” And the 4 headed off, but little did they know that a tragedy would soon befall one of them.
