[Ezekiel] [Gates of eternity] It seemed like 8 hours had passed, but Ezekiel knew better. No time had passed, no time ever would pass- Time was meaningless here. Standing again, he retrieved his pendant, and held it before him, preparing to make his exit. His destination was already set and locked, now all that was left in his dastardly little plan was to hope to got that Iskra could recruit the man without killing him or Kaimu, whose part had yet to play out in all of this. He also was gambling on the hospitality of a scientist known for trying to rule a distant solar system- a roll of the dice, it seemed. He knew how useful loading the dice would be. [Headed to: Planet Venom] [Link, Malichai Valkin, several undead] [Hyrule Castle town streets] Oho. So the enemy had a plan after all. That was fine, really- it held little bearing on Link. The man's weapon was now far from him and difficult to retrieve (although probably not impossible) and his counter attack was seemingly simple, one he could simply redirect with an angle to his shield. He didn't take the hit strait-on, of course. The attack would merely have grazed his shield, due to his quick step to the side. However, when his opponent's fist brushed his cold steel, he pushed his angled weapon, using leverage over strength, and forced him off-balance. Taking advantage of this, Link went for an immediate end to the fight, and readied his sword and stabbed at his arm pit. [ ?, several undead, a Stalfos] [Hyrule Castle Town, near Telma's Bar] The newcomer was a forumer as well, so it mattered little to the Stalfos which one was destroyed, it seemed. It turned slowly on it's bony feet, clattering and shaking as it spun, bringing its endlessly deep, undead eyes to lock onto the new man. With a screech not unlike that of a redead, it alerted the others of the new one's presence. They turned in unison, and marched forward.

As soon as Valkin had mounted his counter he was hit by the enemy. The force of the enemies count caught him off guard, he did not foresee such power from a little fairy boy. As soon as his shot was deflected Valkin could feel himself falling back, the attack had caused him to lose his footing and balance, and now the little boy was going for the final move.
Valkin saw as the boy reached his arm back to strike, this was the moment he needed, the boys haste would be his undoing.
As the tip of the sword neared Valkins body he readied himself, and then at the last possible second the grabbed the blade with his armored hand. Valkins timing had been off slightly, the tip of the sword had left a shallow cut about three inches long under his arm, but this was just a flesh would.
Valkin wrenched the sword to one side, attempting to break the boys arm. At the same time he made a waving motion with his hand, now from across the field his hammer began to stir, and suddenly it jarred up into the air and came flying, attempting to return to Valkins call< but there was one obstical, it would have to go through the body of the boy.

Iskra said nothing, and silently finished off the rest of the wolves. What was there to say? How did you react to something like that? Iskra certainly didn’t know. What this poor twisted person was feeling was beyond her. And irrelevant. So, Iskra killed the rest of the beasts without comment. That at least was something familiar in this God forsaken land, far from the warm presence of her Emperor. Things died the same here. Killing was the same. Funny how such a vicious act could seem comforting and familiar.
And then the last beast had shuddered to the ground and moved no more, and Iskra and Angel were left alone. Now nothing was left to fill the awkward void between them now. Iskra had no idea what the other girl had meant, and honestly, she didn’t care. But if this person was going to act as a comrade in arms…that was going to be the closest thing to a family she was going to get here.
Without speaking, Iskra approached Angel and knelt behind her. After unpacking her med kit, she gently began tending to Angel’s wound, tenderly sterilizing the dirtied cut and applying cauterizing agents and bandages. She did not know this person, had not experienced the trials and terrors and triumphs that bound her and the rest of the Revenants together back home. But family was family, and even if all she could bring herself to do was tenderly heal a wound, she would give that comforting touch.
Dressing the wound took only a few minutes, and Iskra stood when she had finished, pensive. Darkness had fully settled now, and stars began to glimmer through the darkness. A pale crescent moon rose on the horizon, casting pale light upon the two of them, alone and surrounded by undead laid to rest. “Come.” She said simply. “We cannot stay here.”

Kaimu stood, he had gotten himself over whatever that was. Even if his heart had cracked through the theoretical "shell" he had placed over it, it was only a small one.. a little bit of his emotions were surfacing. He would find Angel and be done with it, he quickly thought. He would go back to his parents and he would have them repeat the process for the third time.. look how it already had distracted him from his goal and put his life in danger.. his emotions always seemed to be extreme whenever they did crack thru.. as if by containing them in that shell, they burst out in a fiery blaze.
"Thank you Jalil Sir.." he said, just going back to acting like Angel. It made him feel somewhat at ease.. though he wasn't sure why. "Your right.." he slowly said with a nod. "I know. I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me, but I promise I'll try my super hardest not to let it happen again." his voice ringing with Shame. So much shame for feeling.. shame, for feeling anything.
They started walking onwards again, though like when he was getting his wounds attended to.. it was awkward and silent. They had just met after-all, and he had to proceed to have a emotional breakdown right in front of her. He was also thinking of all the things he had done recently, and feel more and more shame with every step. He whispered to Jalil, knowing they were probably getting alot closer to their goal.
"This bug on my shoulder is actually a girl. She's been rather anxious to get back to her human form.. so I don't mean to startle you but, she'll be transforming back. Okay?" and after saying that, he set her down on the ground and let her do so, revealing a rather pretty looking blonde haired teenage girl. The girl, seemed afraid, and she clutched Kaimu very tightly with her hand.. but she seemed to be a bit more at peace from being a spazzy roach.
(Hope you don't mind that I skipped the post wait since we aren't in a battle.)

Ah yes, Mister Poncho was making splendid progress so far and under the cover of night too.. not that it mattered. There were torches above to light the way in town as it was. However, as he was moseying along the path to adventure, he was getting the feeling he was being watched. Of course, many foolhardy adventurers such as he seemed to exhibit the ability to at their leisure, detect when evil doers were looking out at them with nefarious intent in mind for the sake of looking badass, it could be done with ease.
But in his case, this was a completely legit ability that he himself had. For he like a few others in universe, was born with the ability to utilize psychic abilities. With just his minds eye or Shingan as he so called it, he could feel out what most could not such as hidden danger, items, and the direction of a fart in a cramped elevator if the need arose. Now, those feelings were telling him to look forward where he noticed a sight most strange.
A single skeleton moving about on its own at night and armed with what looked to be a sword and shield. Piercing eyes that had long since given up their spark of life coupled with a deafening shriek that could scare even the hairs on your chinny chin chin away! What could this new development mean? Hmm.. but wait, a skeleton, self automation, and what looked to be a desire to eat the living..
And then.. it struck him with the force a voluminous young lady would strike a peeping tom.
"Egad! Its a revenant!" he exclaimed, still on his forward march. That had to be it, as that would explain the deadness of that bag of bones. But as quickly as the idea came, he was skeptical of it"But wait.." now, he stopped in place and thought about it, all while the ghastly ghoul continued towards him with a few other friends coming into view as well. "Hmm.. no, that can't be it. Revenants are suppose to be the recently dead from my knowledge and that chap has not a single bit of flesh on those bones. Blah.. I dunno.."
He was sure taking his sweet time, especially with the fact that now, a small legion of bony soldiers was quickly descending upon him, howling their little battle cries and readying their weapons.. but for Mister Poncho, to work out these details of what they could be was of the most importance.
"I have seen a lot of wacky mess in my times abroad. What if this guy belongs to a race of people that have no skin or vital points and or organs and I insult this one guy by making an undead comment? Besides, even if he happens to be reanimated and all, it doesn't mean he wants to consume my flesh and use my bones as spares in case he snaps a few.. It was true enough as their were some neat ghosts in the world that did guide people on their quest or bequeathed unto one an item of significance. Perhaps his time was nearing and it was time to receive an ultimate weapon and defeat evil!
That settled it for sure. He had but one thing to do now before setting off to meet the ghouls. Adjusting his sombrero and making sure all was in order, he made a step forward on his path, only to find that the same skeleton from before was blocking the path and looking down on him with those same cold eyes as before. And as luck would have it, he brought friends with him as well! A group of no less then thirty soldiers had surrounded the man clad in the blue poncho. Of course, this didn't trouble him in the slightest as shown by he himself giving the ghoul in front of him a quick polite bow and his willingness in starting a conversation.
"Ahoy there stranger! Since you were coming from the direction I was heading, would you happen to know why everyone is running around like this?" words that soon gave way to him doing his best demonstration of the people who ran back into town, complete with arms flailing as the speed of flail and terrified shrieks and tears in the eyes. Just how these undead cronies would respond to his display well... one would just have to wait and see!

[Link, Malichai Valkin, several undead] [Hyrule Castle town streets] It occurred to Link only as the man was counter attacking that he was able to counter attack at all. The malicious intent of it was clear at the first movement, but simply releasing his sword allowed Link to get clear of his opponent's hammer before it impacted him in the back on top of the already obvious halting of his arm's destruction. Now left with only his shield and various tools, Link drew his hammer from it's place on his back, hanging his shield in it's place and assuming a position from which he could- hopefully- gain some sort of upper hand. [ ?, several undead, a Stalfos] [Hyrule Castle Town, near Telma's Bar] The response from the undead wasn't quite what the mysterious poncho-wearing man had wanted, or so the Stalfos would assume. Each of them moved in an unorganized swarm, lunging and stabbing at the enemy from their positions, hoping to rend his flesh at tear out his bones.

[Iskra, Kaimu] [Near Hyrule Castle Town]
Iskra simply nodded, the constant flow of surprises dulling the oddity of the situation. Sure, the girl’s a cockroach. Why not. Though, on reflection, she could practically feel the shame and humiliation emanating from her partner, and it was better to deal with such things. “It happens.” She said, shrugging. The tone of her voice cast no blame or accusation, simply an acknowledgment. As they crested the hill, Castle Town came into view, its lights twinkling in the darkness. I suppose I’ll just have to keep an eye on these two for now. Angel’s breakdown had cast Crow’s abilities into question for Iskra, and she wondered what it was that had led him to accepting her help. Perhaps emotional dependence was as much a valuable commodity for him as was emotional resilience. Still, the event had made her wary, and she reminded herself of her precarious position.
Presently, they reached the town’s outer walls, only to find the gates locked for the night. Fortunately, that hardly proved to be a problem, and the two made their way inside with ease. Angel simply walked through the obsolete barrier, and Iskra walked up and over it, taking care not to be spotted by any sentries that might be lurking about. As she began her descent down the other side, however, a commotion in the streets ahead caught her eye. With a smile, she recognized the behemoth from Crow’s drawing engaging in battle with some green clad warrior. She dropped down to the ground as Angel emerged from the wall, and motioned for her to move forward. Speaking quietly, she said “Our target is just ahead, and in a battle. We need to hurry.”

After a few moments of waiting for a reply, it was clear he wouldn't even get as much as a howdy do. Disappointing indeed but danger was afoot. All around his radius, he noticed the small entourage was readying their weapons in charging forward.. at his own current position?!?!? Now it was clear just what kind of undead folk he had decided to get himself acquainted with. Upon making a mental note of not to attempt this again, the young mans countenance had taken on a more serious tone.
Was he going to make a move against them? Jump out of the way of it all gracefully and defeat them one by one in true Gary Sue fashion? Nope. Sadly, the poor guy was too deep in the thick of it all and was stabbed in unison by the group, which in a shoddy and brutal fashion, had leap on top of him, tearing and ripping into each other in hopes that his death would be as bloody and brutal as possible. Poor Poncho, few knew him well..
But for a moment, they all stopped.. but for what reason? The evil dead stood up, breaking free of their dog pile to find... nothing. There was no blood and guts on the ground or a corpse so mangled that you couldn't tell it was an actual person. It was just like he just up and vanished. The legion looked about, quite confused on the whole matter as one single solider ran around, falling down to the ground and flailing about. Apparently, this was because its head was actually missing from its body. Hmm.. what happened to it..?
[?] (A few streets up from the undead)
"That was a close one for sure..!" oh that guy in the sombrero again! what a relief to see him alive and well after such an ordeal! Still, to dodge all of those attacks and get through that unhurt had to take some type of handy trick so what did he have hidden under his shirt? "I'm lucky I know a tad about high speed movement techniques. By leaving an afterimage in my stead, I could fool them with ease.. isn't that right my little buddy of mine?"
Just then, he pulled something right from under his poncho and that something was a skull just like the one he was talking too just faced a few moments ago. Upon closer examination well.. it was in actually, the same skull as that knight before. He took it just when he had from the crowd, something that took just a tiny bit of skill. Its mouth chattered and clattered about as if it was trying to speak at a high pace.
The wanderer was now at the moment, tucking the skull under his left arm, making a careful note to get his forearm right up under its jaw so it couldn't make a move. "You also should have told me that shriek of some of those revenants reach a certain pitch that freezes people in their tracks. I could have died if I was a normal person so now, its time to pay."
With the right hand, he reached into the back pocket of his pants and revealed an artifact of great spiritual standing. "Behold.. this is The Holy Propeller Beanie Of Solomon™" Oh yes but what did it do? Did it endow its wearer with the wisdom of solomon himself? reveal the location of a treasure most grand and ultimate? Well.. no. To be honest, it was just a regular old propeller beanie. Multi-colored, 6 panel, fancy yellow visor to block the sun, and of course, a cute little propeller up top. It was the ultimate symbol of geekyness and he had one use in mind for it.
"Wisdom is best obtained when one is silent. Prepare to be enlightened my bleached and barren comrade. "
He loosed his hold on the skull just enough to get its mouth open and quickly stuffed its mouth with the hat, enough so that it would completely shut the skull up until he wanted it to speak. No more chattering for good and now, on his end it was quite quiet, all except for what he perceived to be the sound of metal clashing with other metal just right around the corner of the street.
Swordfight? Maybe so.. but just to be sure, he would just have a look himself. Making sure his hat was aligned nicely on his noggin, he broke out into a sprint and dashed to the end of block and quickly cutting the corner to intercept what was happening.

As the boy flipped out of they way the hammer returned to Valkins right hand, he had his power back.
Valkin watched as the boy too a new weapon and fighting stance, he chuckled at the peons persistence. He picked the boys sword up from the ground where it had landed and looked it over. It was a good weapon, and how this child was in possession of it was beyond valkin.
As he examined the blade he looked to the boy and with a sneer he added.
"Little boys shouldn't play with knives."
With that he turned and threw the sword as far as his arm would allow.
"There, now you wont hurt yourself. I get to do that."
Valkin gripped his hammer firmly in his right hand and took his stance, the right side of his body facing the enemy with the head of the hammer pointed down, his left arm clenched behind his back ready to strike with his power if need be.
"Come child, lets see if we cant clip those ears of yours."

[Link, Malichai Valkin, several undead] [Hyrule Castle town streets]
Link smiled at the mans comment, but said nothing. His sword clattered across the ground a ways away from him, quite far by any other man's standards. But not to this hero. Oh no, not to this hero.
Placing his hammer on his back again, Link removed from his shield his boomerang, the Gale Boomerang, courtesy of his latest adventure. He also removed another sword, the Ordon sword, and held it defiantly as he formulated his plan.
The first thing that launched at the opponent was the boomerang, but it switced directions just as it reached him, blocking his vision as Link himself came rushing from behind it. Rotating over his shoulder, Link payed it no mind as he rushed a stab at the massive frame of Malchai.

Valkin sat the boy pull something from his back, but that was all he saw. In a flash something obscured his vision, and as soon as it appeared it was gone, and all that Valkin noticed was the boy rushing towards him.
'Again? I thought he would have figured this out by now. I guess he only speaks the language of broken bones.
Thought valkin to himself. As the boy approaches him valkin readies the hammer and at the same time engulfs his left hand in a glove of lightning.
When the boy reached him he would bring the hammer up to break the boys jaw, and bring his hand down to finish it off.
If the boy survived this one, Valkin might actually fight him.

[Link, Malichai Valkin, several undead] [Hyrule Castle town streets]
The hammer was an easy one to predict, and the lightning was nothing. A flick of the shield and a turn of the body, and the crashing sound of electricity on metal sent Link strait up and backward, out of the way of his foe's own attack but thwarting his own. But then, his attack was never for wounding his enemy.
Landing gracefully, Link placed the Ordon sword back in it's sheath, and caught his boomerang in it's slot on his shield, and it's special package for him.
In it's wind, the boomerang had brought to him his divine weapon, the master sword, which had been it's second target after the man. Now ready once again and no worse for wear than the beginning of the fight. He wasn't even breathing hard.
With a smirk, Link broke his silence. "I don't know who you are used to fighting, but they must have been some kind of wuss if that's all you can manage."

"heh heh heh'
Valkin chuckled. The boy had brass, but he had seen nothing yet. If it was power the child wanted then it would be power granted unto him. Valkin doubted that the boy had the capacity to comprehend this power he was about to unleash.
Valkin hung the hammer back on his belt. He stood perfectly straight, opened his arms wide cosed his eyes and turned his head to the heavens.
Above him the sky began to shake, the sun was blotted out by massive black clouds that had seemed to be created from nothing. cold northern wind whipped the air, almost powerful enough to bring down a castle on its own. Thunder rumbled and small bolts of lightning split the air, their trail leaving an un natural trail of red light in its wake.
As the tempest continued Valkin opened his eyes, there were no longer pupil and iris in his eye. Now it was a black pulsating white. He spoke in a thunderous tone.
"Crack the skye"
And with that a massive half bolt half whirlwind of red lightning desended from the sky. It was a hundred feet high and fifteen feet wide. Where it had touched nothing but black and death remained.
As the torrent continued in one place Valkin lowerrd his face, upon it was a sinister smile, full of malice and ill intent. And with that Valkin closed his arms and the torrent shot foward twords the boy.

As he neared the corner, the strangest thing seemed to be happening. The weather was changing out of nowhere. Black clouds and thunder were suddenly whipping up in the skies above and the air around the area seemed to be growing colder, winds nipping at Mister Poncho left and right. In cases like this, this was where adventuring rule number 06 could guide him to the path to victory!
The Rules of The Adventuring Fellows and or Parties Associated Number 6: Investigate your surroundings!
And along with his newly found bone companion, that's exactly what he did. Peering out from that street corner, he noticed a young man clad in a green tunic and sporting a long, floppy green cap facing a behemoth of a man who for some odd reason had his arms stretched out wide and looking up at the sky so dandify. Aww.. this was a touching since with him facing the other person like that, it was clearly hug time now.
But alas, his thoughts quickly proved to be incorrect as the moments whined. Red sparks of electricity floated over the skies above, curiously centered around the giant man who shouted out something that brought pure mayhem to the field.
Crack The Skye
Which then brought down a giant typhoon of lightning crashing down from the sky with such power, even his new companions teeth were chattering.. and with The Holy Propeller Beanie Of Solomon™ in mouth, it was impossible. He retracted back into the corner from wince he was watching and decided to wait a moment before he went up into something he couldn't handle.

[Link, Malichai Valkin, several undead] [Hyrule Castle town streets]
Link looked up at the sky, the ominous, black clouds swirling above him. The monsters, the undead who had been witnessing the fight, fled from the attack- he'd forgotten they were there, to be perfectly honest.
But all this was of little consequence to him.
As the man uttered the words "crack the skye", Link removed from his pouch yet another of his special little toys, a transparent crystal with a blue jewel inside. It was a wonderful little thing he'd received from a goddess, Nayru... and it did some wonderful things. Well, only one thing, really, but it was so wonderful that Link decided he would count it as five things.
Slamming the object on the ground, Link placed his faith in it's power, nor for the first nor the last time.
"Nayru's.... love."
As the lightning consumed the immediate area that Link stood in, he smiled- none of the electricity touched him.
