hahaha. I looked up Majora's Mask on wikipedia, and I had no idea that was the storyline, i mean I understood the 3 days thing, and you could get masks and stuff and the skull kid was evil, but really nothing other than that. Now that i know the storyline, the game sounds pretty cool

I have to say the original...it was an awesome game, and its a classic...can't beat the classic, and its one of the few games that had 2 difficulties in it where the game was almost 100% different from the normal setting...how many Zelda games did that? sure LOZ OOT came out with Master Quest which could be considered a harder version of OOT, but everything was in the same place, and the only difference was the dungion layouts...the original...ONLY the 1st dungion was in its original place, and its because of that re-playability and originality, to me even today, that i vote the original as the best LOZ game XD

I voted for TP because once I got it I couldn't put it down, literally! I played that game non stop until it was time for me to return it. XD (I rented it) I am gonna buy it as soon as I get my Wii but, right now I have a ton of work to do and I don't have much time to have fun any more.

Ocarina of Time is what set the Zelda series into what it is today, even though I voted for Twilight Princess. I still play Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask when I'm not playing TP.. Majora did have a pretty good storyline, but it's still only an OOT sequel, continuing it's story. Also, Ocarina of Time and Majoras mask have "true Link" in them, not some look-alike who turns up on an island or in a farm. Just for the record, I despise WW, the Four Swords games, and Phantom Hourglass. Gimmicks are the only things those have going for them.
I can still remember fighting Shadow Link on Zelda 2, though. I remember being a little kid, sitting at home with no worries smacking around the clone.. I don't remember how I got that far at that age, and I still can't figure out how I can't get that far now. (Thanks Shira, for sharing loving memories of your childhood.)

Shadow Link is the final boss in Zelda 2. Majora's Mask, by the way, does not follow the story at all. It is kinda like DBZ movies, they don't follow the actual series. Link returns the Ocarina of Time in the end of the game, but in the beginning of Majora, the skull kid steals the Ocarina of time from Link, along with Epona.
