like, i check the connection, it says its good. but then when I try to update, it goes really slow, but after a couple of hours when I check to see how far along its gotten, it says theres been an error and it couldn't get the update

it should take only 15 minutes or so (i think). Anyways, what kind of internet do you have, wireless or dial up?

Try turning the wireless off and on again i guess, i dont know what else you could do.

I havent got around to hooking my wii up online yet. How far away can that wireless internet adapter reach because my computer is in one room and my wiis in another.
