What happened? Where did I come from? Where am I? Why am I here?... So many questions filled the young girls mind, too many to even count. Her mind felt so empty. It was like her memories were taken from her and locked inside a little jewelery box. Where was the key to this treasure trove of information? She didn't know, who could know? She was alone in a strange land that she has never seen before. She rose off the wet ground and sat on her knees as she looked into a small puddle of water on the ground. She didn't recognize the girl in the reflection. Long white hair, dark blue eyes and a little white dress that looked like it was crafted for a doll or some kind of marionette. Judging by her looks, it seemed that she was about 10 or 11 years old but she felt much older. However with no memory of her past, there was no way to determine fact from fiction. As her tiny body rose to its feet she decided to take a look at the surrounding area.
It looked like a junkyard in her opinion. There were tons of scrap metal around. She wondered where she was exactly. There were lots of puddles on the ground so she could tell it rained recently. The sky itself was still full of gray clouds. Her mind instantly thought it would be wise to find shelter somewhere. It seemed like it would rain again pretty soon. But where was there any shelter? What must she do? It was all so confusing. She wished someone would show her the way or take care of her but there was no one in sight. Her eyes slumped toward the ground ready to shed more tears than the sky. However there was a glimmer of hope, well a light one might say. This light suddenly appeared above her head radiating a sorta starry aura from it. As she looked up she could see a crystal. This crystal was transparent but it glittered in a bright light and stars glittered from its surface. The crystal began hovering away from her toward the inner part of the junkyard. She didn't know what this crystal was but it seemed like it wanted her to follow. So she did, why not right? She didn't know what to do. If this crystal is willing to guide her down the right path, she would willingly follow it anywhere.

The crystal began guiding her deeper into the junkyard. As she walked down the sharp path she could see bigger types of metal on the ground. However this metal was different from the ones she previously seen. The metal was still unorganized but it seemed that these ones were ore polished and refined. It was as if someone had molded them and lost it on some shipping caravan. It seemed like they were recently made too but all that knowledge did was spring up new questions. If this metal was so new, why is it in the rain and more importantly who does it belong to? The questions just kept pouring in. After a moment of thinking she figured it would be best to forget about it and keep moving forward. All of this thinking was giving her a headache. After a few moments of walking she saw something in the distance. It looked like a a huge tunnel connected to some sort of plateau. It was a little awkward but investigating it might reap some answers for her.
Her walk turned into a slow jog as she began to narrow the distance between her and her new destination However when she reached halfway there the ground began to shake rapidly. Was it an earthquake or a small tremor? She didn't know exactly but she did notice a change in the ground. The metal that was on the ground disappeared and newer ones began to spring up. She didn't move a muscle, she didn't even speak a word. After a few moments the shaking stopped and everything fell silent. She wondered what to do next. She took a step backwards but as soon as she did, the ground began shaking again. 5 structures came out of the ground and landed around her. She closed her eyes to prevent the rainwater from getting into her eyes. When she reopened them she saw 5 robot things standing in front of her. They were tall, they had these shovel like hands on them and their bodies were rusted from the middle down but they upper parts where polished. She could tell that the polished half must have been the metal on the ground that she so earlier.
The robots didn't seem to pay much attention to her though. The walked around her aimlessly in any ol direction. It seemed weird that they didn't notice her but then again she didn't see any eyes on them. She figured that she would just tip toe out of the way but as soon as took another step, they turned toward her direction. It was at the moment that she understood that they responded to sounds and vibrations rather than sight. She sprinted the forward trying to get away from them. She was indeed faster than them but not by much. If their bodies weren't so rusted they would have caught her instantly. When she began to further her distance from them the crystal which guided her to this location appeared before her. She tried to move past it but it wouldn't let her pass. Did it want her to die? Did this crystal guide her here just to see her turn into a puddle of blood? She didn't understand but the minute she took to ponder gave the robots the time they needed to catch up. Before she knew it they were right behind her ready to attack. One of them raised its arm to strike her. Not knowing what to do, she put her hands over her head and kneeld on the ground. The crystal quickly moved behind her and produced a small shield which countered the attack. The robot stumbled backwards and fell to the ground. She turned towards the crystal which was shinning brightly. The crystal then lunged toward her the disappeared into her body. It startled her quite a bit but then something appeared in her hand. It was a chain or a whip? She didn't really know but it was obvious what the crystal wanter her to do. It wanted her to fight back. Wouldn't it be easier to run though? She didn't understand why she was putting herself in danger..

As the fallen robot rose back to its feet, it walked toward her again with its partners close behind. She really didn't know what to do. She was nervous, very nervous. She didn't know what that crystal was thinking, giving her a tiny weapon like this to fight these things. I mean the robots were made of pure metal. How can this small metal weapon do anything to harm them? It was better than nothing but it wasn't every effective in her opinion. As the robots neared her location they began throwing blows at her with their giants metal arms. She backed up quickly to gain some distance but she knew she couldn't do this forever. She needed to attack. She quickly stepped toward one of the robots and swing her chainwhip toward its rusted body. Her attack connected but it barely scratched it. Before she could think about her next course of action, one of the robots flanked her. It swung its arm quickly which hit her side and sent her flying toward the ground. It hurt but strangely not as much as she thought it would. Also she failed to realize which the sharp ends of arms didn't cut the fabric on her dress. It was a little weird but she wasn't complaining. She needed to get back up before they attack again. The robots were right on her before she even got a chance to get back up.
If she rose to her feet they would just knock her back down. So instead she ducked under their attack and climbed beneath their legs. The robots were a bit confused, they looked around wondering she had gone. She stared at the back of the robot, glancing over its surface. The one thing she noticed was the open compartment on its back. It was filled with different wiring. She didn't really know what they were for but it might be a weak point for them. She quickly rose to her feet a struck the compartment with her chainwhip. Some of the wires were cut and began discharging electricity. The part of the robot's body elevated over its face and a glowing core could be seen within. She instantly thought it was a core. It looked like a glowing heart in her mind. She had no time to think, her hand instantly swing around to strike it. Her whip hit the core and it began glowing rapidly as if it was unstable. The other robots moved away from it. She didn't know what would happen so she moved away as well. Moments later the robot blew up, scattering his remains around the watery junkyard. That was one down but 4 remained. It was a good thing she found a weakness to these things. It appears this weapon was useful after all..

Now things were going to be a little bit difficult. There were two robot on each side. Each of them guarding each others backs. There was no easy way to attack them. She needed to find a way though and it wasn't like she had time to think about it. After the destruction of their comrade, the robots immediately moved toward her location. As fast as they were closing a tiny gap like that between them would be a piece of cake. The first idea she had was an attack and run tactic. Rush in to attack then after a successful hit, fall back until the next opportunity occurred. It was the only thing she could think of but it was worth a shot. She ran up to them quickly expecting them to react. They did exactly that. The robot swung its arms in an attempt to hit her but she quickly side stepped out of the way. As she approached for another shot but the robot beside it immediately attacked her, forcing her to back off even more. This wasn't working. She couldn't get close enough to attack. This was going to be a problem indeed. Her arm was starting to feel a little bit stiff as well. She swing her arm a little to loosen it up but when she did the weapon in her hand hit the ground. It was way longer than it originally was. "It extends?!!" She said with a surprise. With that knowledge, her situation became a lot easier.
Now she has range. She can attack her enemies a lot easier this. She slowly approached the robots again, ready to dodge their attacks at any moment. As soon as the robot flailed his arm as leaped out the way. However while she was in midair, she swung her extended weapon toward the back of the robot and nailed its compartment. When its core was revealed she picked herself up and swung around to hit the core. She knew the other robots would dodge the explosion but it would be best to get them all in one shot. Without much think she charged into the robot at full speed, knocking the stationary robot into the others. That didn't give her enough time to dodge the explosion though. She crossed her arms over her face as the robot exploded, taking the other ones with her. When she put her hands down she noticed a shield slowly deteriorating around her. It seemed like the same sort of shield the crystal made to protect her last time. It must have shared its power with her or so she thought. Anywho all of the robots were gone and she was safe now. She sighed with relief and wiped the sweat from her forehead but moments later the ground started shaking again. Even more robots jumped out of the ground and surrounded the young girl. There were 12 of them this time and she was already tired from the last 5. The expression on her face said all the words she could say at this point... "What the hell?!"
