Ai was bewildered by the sudden question. Did she have a boyfriend? Well, she let off Nouri with a peek at her panties, but if she liked him, she wouldn't have needed payback. Although, did that mean he liked her? Can a one sided relationship be counted like that? No way, Ai was just thinking crazy. Really, a muffinbot was in there, who knows what else? The question made her think, but still. Not many thoughts can stay in her head like that.
Before any answering, Cissy was all flustered. Now she was going on about animals. Was Cissy implying she had a Prince charming? Gross, she never would never dream of it. I mean, all the Princesses were married to Prince Charming. As far as she knew, Charming was his last name, and he was a polygamist. That's just sick, and now she was babbling about them being slimy. Frogs were cute, but Prince Polygamy wasn't. Before she would explode, Ai would answer. "No, I don't have anyone special like that." Strange topic for a 6 year old to be asking about. Without another word from Cissy, she added "By the way, are you new here? I don't think I've met you before."

Ivan wasn't happy or sad to hear that she didn't have a boyfriend. It's not like a little girl and a older girl can have much of a relationship.. unless she was some lesbian lolicon and he decided there would be some kinda sign of that.. besides, it was a kinda bizarre combination. And were most cute girls that kinda way? Sure.. she could imagine some nerd girl with black hair and big glasses being a lesbian-loli lover but not someone fitting Ai's description, not unless the writers were trying to be against cliches.
Feeling his swimsuit start to ride up on the back end, he does what every girl does when wearing a one piece and pull it back down. Wearing a swimusit was funny when you weren't in the water.. it was kinda like walking around in your underwear.. but somehow less embarrassing. He thought about her question and decided that she was asking him if he was new to the game. "Yeah.. sure, Chrissy is brand sparkly shiny new but it's very nice to meet you and stuff." she said, getting a little restless again. It was nice meeting someone new and she hoped they would meet up plenty of times in the game and have some sort of cool connection but if they weren't going to finish their battle right now they might as well both go and find someone else to level grind with.

The little one tugged the back of her outfit. Then she replied about being new. It made much more sense now. That explained why she wasn't ready to be fought. Poor little thing. She's going to die  Although, she treated all of this like it was a game. Maybe she was holding back or something. Or possibly, she was just overconfident. This was one of the oddest confrontations she's ever had. At least everyone else had a reason for attacking her, and lasted more than 2 turns. Although, it took quite a bit out of her. Ai was famished, she grabbed a picnic basket from her * bag of godmod* and took out a circular piece of bread. It was circular, as I described in my last sentence. So circular, it was like a perfect circle, but it wasn't. It was a light brown color. A tan of sorts, if you want to be specific. Along the center, there was a line. There were many lines along the bread itself. The lines were both vertical and horizontal. Meeting at perpendicular angles, they formed a square shape many times over. All together, it formed a square pattern. The pattern was cut off by the edge of the bread though, making a triangular shape along the corners. Well, there aren't really corners, it's a circle. The pastry itself was very light and fluffy, my love for it was like a stapler. It puffed outward from it's flat bottom. It looked so heavenly, it would be so nice to take a big bite of that right now. However, it was small, only about 6 inches in diameter? The bread itself was named for the flavoring. It was flavored via melons. This piece of melon bread was no different. It was as flavored as any other piece of melon bread. All through the bread, you could just taste the melon-y goodness. Best part was in the middle. Inside, was an implant of Melon custard. It was a yellowish color, but you could see trace amounts of green. It made the yellow seem paler in comparison. Altogether, the melon bread looked delicious. Ai couldn't wait for her first bite, she lowered her head slightly, bringing the bread slightly higher to her head instead. Opening her mouth only a bit, this was a habit of hers, she took a nibble of the bread. |

She didn't say anything, but she suddenly pulled out a piece of melon bread and started nibbling on it. Moe moe~ totally so. It reminded Ivan of one of only good action animes out there, of course you could only enjoy it if you didn't mind one of the most made note of love triangles in anime history. I mean, it's seriously a huge part of the plot which seems out of place in a non-shojo but somehow they made it work.
Shakugan no Shana. Yep. Moe moe~ indeed.
And despite that she looked so happy and nibbling her bread and stuff, Chrissy decided it was time to depart. She moved around her swimsuit a bit again, repositioning it to be less hanging on one side of her body and smiled up at her new friend. "Okay Shana-chan, I think I should be going now. I hope we meet on a beach next time, we can have a a picnic and make a sandcastle and I can use my outfit and we can attack crabs at their weak points for massive damage. Thanks for helping me out and all, I'll never forget it!" and, with a wave and a giggle.. Chrissy activated her Stealth Vest again.. slipping into invisibility and walking away without looking back. Ivan knew that you can't look back when it comes to moving forward.. because back and forward were opposites and they are full of conflicting feelings.

She realized the subtle hint didn't do anything. Ai was offering food, but no. Some people can't take such hints. They just watch you eat. Ironic that she finished the bread before Cissy took her leave. She was about to pull out another one for her, but then Cissy started on another wave of random talking again. But this time was different. She was happier this time. Seems like they were friends now. Fascinating, people make friends so fast.
Although, she was called "Shana-chan" then alluded to going to the beach. Ai always wanted to go to the beach. She would need a bathing suit though. And what was all this? Picnics and sandcastles, sounds nice. But suddenly, giant crabs attacking? Was she just batshit insane? Heh, sounds fun though. What would happen if she headed to the beach now? Would she see Cissy shooting at a giant crab? Unfortunately, she slinked away. Apparently, she can go invisible, nice power. Pretty useful too. That's fun. Closing out, she picked up her things, and walked away. Looking back, she gazed at the field she met this strange character in. It'd hold some great memories, so she decided to mark something along the floor. With her bow, she used a tiny bit of energy and shot a message into the floor. It read "We'll meet again, Cissy -Ai" Now she had the urge to go buy a swimming suit.
