Storming the temple (Marth)

He was already way ahead of her before she started to talk. Just looking around, something told him that going north would give him a much better bearing about his surroundings.. so, he did just that. He began walking north and shouted towards Sevil. "Cmon ya slowpoke! We have to get moving ya know!" Seriously, she had to move faster to keep up with Nouri's pace

[Nouri, Evi]

Evi ran to catch up to Nouri. Her small body gave her the advantage of less air resistance, therefore it wasn`t that hard to catch up. They ran up the north steps to the door, and went through. There was no spider this time. Only a hallway like earlier. They entered the door at the other end, into a large circular room. But suddenly, iron bars slid down the door, locking them in. Evi turned around.

Evi:"Hey!"

Then, two strange skeleton monsters appeared, with swords and shields. Evi gasped in surprise. She knew there was no easy way to defeat these monsters, and she was pactically a sitting duck, with only her pulse attack, which was pretty weak. She braced for the inevitable fight.

Oh no! Just when things were starting to look up, tragedy had stuck right then and there! As quickly as the duo entered, Iron bars had dropped down from the doorway and sealed him in tight. But to make matters worst, two skeletal warriors had appeared before them, armed and ready for mortal combat by the looks of them. Just what was a young rogue to do in the face of these frightening odds?

Well.. he had an idea on that one.

"Ok you two undead baddies. On behalf of all the adventurers that came before me, It pleases me to say this line." reaching into the left side of his trench coat, he pulled out his trusty caster gun and pointed it directly at the one on the left. "I'm the only one who brought a gun." And of course, he fired a few rounds of energy bullets at the armed warrior, shattering its bones with each shot until finally, it collapsed under its own weight and lay there defeated. "Kay Sevil. You can beat up the other one if you want"

Evi began to panic. She tried using pulse, but the orbs bounced off the monster.

Evi:"THAT`s ALL I HAVE."she cried.

[Maelys]

Maelys was facing a similar battle. Only he had cut down the other stalfos when he heard "THAT`S ALL I HAVE" from directly beneath him. He loked down the hole in the center of the room to find another room, along with Evi and Nouri. He nticed the stalfos about to attack Evi. Nothing else went through Maelys`s mind than "i dont think so". He jumped, putting his blade vertical, coming down to stab the stalfos. (OOC:for those of you who know FFVII, think to when sephiroth killed aerith)IC: th monster was dead immediately, having just been run through like a corn dog by a 6 foot long, 1 foot high and 4 inches thick. Maelys shouldered his sword.

Maelys:"Didja miss me?"

"Ha" He really.. didn't miss him so much but since he had come in with an entrance more dramatic then it had to be, then this would be the perfect time for him to take back his sister. "Great! Now that your here, take your sister with you!" he spoke, flagging his hand right at him in a "shooing" manner. Seriously, he couldn't be doing this kind of thing during a treasure hunt and the fact that she was dumped on him really.. flustered him quite a bit. Still, he took the library of watching her intently and keeping her safely his top priority.. but without making it so obvious. He didn't know however that she wouldn't be able to fight and that made him wonder just why he was lugging her around this odd temple in the first place. Ah well.. it couldn't be helped and he had to apologize for letting her try to fight earlier "Oh and by the way, sorry about the fighting thing Sevil. I didn't know and all.. But if you excuse me, I think I'll continue forward" and that he did, making his way up to the center of the room so he could get a better look at the swordsman's entry point

Maelys noticed Nouri`s curiosity with the room above. He then went to Evi, whispered some things, and then Evi put a foot on Maelys`s hand just above the ground, she held onto his shoulder, he threw her up and she jumped off him to reach the upper room. She landed gracefully. Maelys then turned to Nouri.

Maelys:"Hey nouri. I noticed a chest covered in jewels back there. Want a lift?"

Meanwhile Evi noticed something Maelys missed. A chest. She went over to it, opened it, and found a bow.

Evi:"Hey guys!! I found a bow!!"

A chest he says..? Well that certainly caught his attention right away! So much so that he turned towards The Black Swordsman fairly quickly and swiftly nodded. "Excellent then. I would like a little boost further up if that's alright!" Finally, there was something he could bring back to show for his troubles. Maybe he could sell it to get a bite to eat or trade it in for some cash for tools! Who knows? Besides, all he had so far was a map of the temple which he had picked up from the ground after his little battle so to say. Nouri skipped over towards Maelys, awaiting his tossing action

Nouri walked over to Maelys, and they repeated the move. Maelys looked to the door and thought to the 3 torches he lit. He went to the main room and noticed that 3 torches were lit...
