Five, four, three, two, one.
The young farm girl the man in gray was eying dropped the heavy milk can she had been hauling around, spilling it's contents onto the grass. It looked good, being milk and all, but now that it was down it was worthless to Ezekiel Crow. Not that he had considered it of worth before, but even still.
He had been taking notes up until a few moments ago, when he eagerly stuffed his scraps and loose papers into his book, scooping them all up and making them into one semi organized jumbled pile within his arms. Now he was preparing. He had a very important guest arriving soon, and he would hate to keep them waiting.
A sly smile ran across his face as he imagined destroying this place and blaming collateral damage. Oh how fun it would be.
He began to toy with the thought of using his guest to kill someone. He rather enjoyed that thought.

The swim-suited and thigh-high'ed loli named Ivan in the real world was walking around looking for some more trouble in the hot and breezy sunshine. He needed to get some more practice in, he needed to get used to being what he was now. Surely he had asked for some new experiences but this was way, way new. Nothing at all was the same.. not his height, his gender, his hair, his body, his outfit, his strength, his voice, his life. It was like jumping and becoming someone completely new.. he didn't really think about acting like he was in his normal life at all, he wanted to stay in character with Chrissy as he imagined her.
Suddenly though, he came up to a farm of sorts. He could tell because of the sights and smells.. and that was enough to give him a bit of an emotional high once again. He hated the city life and always dreamed of a nature filled simpler kinda life.. full of green and smells of the open air. Maybe they would let her work here for a day or so.. even with her tiny frame. Surely Chrissy could milk a cow or something.. and then she would get to feeling a bit better.
She spotted a figure in gray, and gray was such a boring character. Surely just an NPC or something, so she walked up and smiled towards him. "Hey! I was looking for a brawl but this is such a cozy little farm, do you work here? Can Chrissy help out? Pretttty please?" she said, unaware that this man was in fact Ezekiel Crow and knowing the future reader, he was expecting this and knew that she wouldn't resist a fight.

"Hello my pretty."
The words escaped Ezekiel just before his attack did. Holding one part of the book's cover and allowing the pages to open freely, the will of Ages found what Ezekiel was after all by its lonesome.
A magic seal, spread across two pages and portraying a scene of dragons devouring each others tails while the world, their playground, watched helplessly. Of course there was more to the tale, but the image of the seal was swallowed by a purple-brown half liquid lance that shot from the book at an alarming speed, slicing through the air at his new target, this little girl before him. Or was it a boy? The book wasn't clear. In fact, it called it both- which made no sense to Ezekiel. But then, that's why he was here- he was curious about her. Him. It.
As the lance's end left the book, Ezekiel was already in another motion, swinging the book up and around in hopes of either contacting her neck on the left side or at the very least cutting off one possible escape route from his just-short-of-deadly projectile.

"Oh shit!" was what he probably would have said, even with his Chrissy persona up and going. This man was serious and even though the book was special, as much as he would later be bothered by this.. he didn't have enough time to react to the liquid lance. He had moved a bit to the left and was able to only get it to strike his right shoulder.. but that still didn't help at all. Suddenly, an intense burst of pain rushed through her and Chrissy/Ivan screamed with all he could muster, possibly drawing the attention of the farm girl that had been outside carrying milk. He didn't really know, wasn't able to pay attention to that kinda thing right now you know? Then, without being able to react the book came crashing down on her neck, slamming hard down and sending Chrissy flying in the other direction being so very light and frail. Both blows being hit so easily to the tiny gunner, Ivan was starting this one out badly.
Despite the intense pain, he was in "Brawl mode" enough to not sent simply crashing to the ground. Adding applied power by his Oh-So-Special Boots, he jumped high in a backwards angle, about 12ft in the air and then pulled out his gun. Feeling the intense shoulder pain again and wanting to clutch his tiny shoulder, he aimed shakily at Ezekiel and shot the Max.100. Landing on the ground some 20ft away and breathing deeply, she decided to not even bother trying to hide herself as he could hear her easily.. but was ready to bounce away again should even make a move to come after her. Taking a moment, she clutched her shoulder and neck... the pain was horrible.. she felt tears streaming down her eyes. Meanie.. hadn't even given Chrissy proper warning. Hopefully not some kinda character killer or something.

Yep, jumping and dodging. Quite a spry little girl... boy? Whatever. He hadn't anticipated the jumping of course, because he had caused that reaction, not fate. The gun firing he also had not expected, but that one he took as a personal failure on account of the fact that he completely should have seen that coming.
But regardless, he hadn't. So he had little choice one what to do, other than just take it like a man. Like a true man!
True men wouldn't have fallen to their knees, clutching their chest.
Ganondorf wouldn't have fallen down, and you're supposed to be better than him?
That isn't the point right now.
Yeah I know but hey you just really screwed up. You were really counting on that, ehh.
Clambering back to his feet, Ezekiel smiled slyly again, trying to not show his discomfort at the fact that he'd just been shot. Good thing this girl used what he could only assume was a toy gun. Or was it? What an odd day this was turning out to be indeed.
"So now that we're past the introductions," Ezekiel said rather coyly, his mind now wrapping around the new future he had created "what do you say we get this underway?"

Ivan stood up, still clutching his shoulder. He wasn't really trying to keep his little girl persona, but when he put his hands to his hips and got angry he surely looked like a pouting little lass. "No no no, that's not the way things are supposed to go buddy.. but it's fine.. just, gosh.. that hurt. But if we are cool with not letting it go too far.. I'm all for this battle. Let's have super fun!" he said, saying the last few words in a completely different tone, though with his squeaky feminine voice it all probably sounded similar.
Starting off and using his magic.. he created a small grenade in his hand. Pulling the pin, he threw it over in his direction. However, while this looked like any old grenade.. this thing wouldn't explode with power and might.. it would explode with blue fog gas and crazy cartoon noises so loud it could pierce the ears. While this would make visibility bad for both of them, he made himself invisible with his Stealth Vest hoping that the added hiding power would give him an extra edge.
Other than that.. it was really all about timing from here on.

And so the dance had begun, and what an inelegant dance it was.
But this was a two-person dance, and Ezekiel would hate to be left standing while his partner flowed with grace about him, so he obliged with something of his own in exchange for her wonderful gift of ear-shattering noise; he dropped his book.
From the folds of its pages came a spear, a rather short spear without any remarkable features at all, but nevertheless, a spear just the same. Grasping it at its center, he stood just above the thrown weapon and simply let its blast consume him.
The silly sounds of a cartoon wonderland burst and consumed Ezekiel, but so did the fog. It's wonderful blue coloring color served no purpose to Crow, but it's purpose was not in it's color, but in it's methods- his enemy was invisible, but not intangible.
And now we play the waiting game.

But the distance was good and the smog and sound would last for a while still. Grasping her gun, she fired two shots in the vauge direction of where he was standing before, then started moving a bit to the left still trying to skim the areas where she would most be hidden. Luckily, with the loud toilet noises and elephant screeches she didn't even hear her own gun very well, so the sound shouldn't have given her away.. only if it hit would it probably give her away.. and if it hit him then it would be worth it.

So the first bullet was going to be high of him, but where did the second one come in?
Ezekiel found himself laughing at his own idiocy. He'd forgotten completely, but he knew it would hit him if he stayed where he was. But what if he moved into it? That'd be no good at all.
A whizzing brushed past his hat. The first bullet. Ezekiel had only the fraction of a second to react to it's passing before the second would be upon him, and-
A fiery pain exploded in Ezekiel's neck where the round had impacted him, turning him to face the side of where he had faced before. Raising his hand, Crow felt no physical damage, but the pain was very real. Much like the first really, but it never hurt to check at the very least.
Crouching low to the right of where the weapon had landed (lest she calculate where the grenade would have ended up and thus fire at it) Ezekiel placed his spear in the grass beside him and allowed the sounds of the bizarre surround him and mask him again.

Hmm, now what to do? It was awkward that her own trap was only really giving her a defense. Unable to really think of much else to do, and knowing this would be the last turn the sound and smoke would give her cover, she simply pulled out her gun and fired in the smoke three times. Once up on high level to her right, once in the middle in front of her, and once to the left down low. If she missed all her shots, at least she tried. D;
She thought about how this battle had started and started to get a bit nervous. She prepared to do another moon bounce just in case she heard any movements coming near her.

This was getting him nowhere.
But it wasn't like he could just rush her while she had a gun. Or maybe he could? No of course not. Cursing under his breath, Ezekiel gripped the grenade in a loose hold, and hefted it just off the ground, holding it in place. Next he took off his hat and placed it on his head only barely, so it would be easy to access. Next he unclipped his cape from his armor while undoing it's draw string, and began his plan all at once.
Ezekiel hefted the grenade at where he predicted the girl would be about now- whether or not she was three was a mater of guessing but that was beyond the point now. As soon as the grenade left his hand, Ezekiel rushed forward, throwing his cloak to the side of him, out of the waning smoke as it propelled forward, creating a blurry image of movement that matched the gray drab shades of color Ezekiel wore, giving it the illusion of being the man himself. Next came the hat, which flew strait up out of Ezekiel's over excited hand and soared a pretty good height before beginning it's descent.
God I hope she's where I thought.
Rushing blindly at his predicted placement of the girl, Ezekiel rammed his spear forward in an attempt to gut her, jabbing repeatedly at the area she was in.

However, unfortunately for him she was anxious. The second the grenade was hefted towards her and she sensed movement, her readying Moon Bounce began.. which made her high up in the hair as he went charging with his spear. She did get hit by the hat thrown in the air, but that wasn't a huge deal..
Falling back down on the ground and clutching her shoulder as the pain from before flared up again, she called out at him as the fog and sounds completely vanished. "Do you wanna make this interesting? Make some rules to the fight? I dunno.." Chrissy said, actually worrying that Ezekiel wasn't having fun. Ivan was here to play around with people and have fun, but since the first move he realized he had been dominating the match. Wasn't fun to just simply destroy someone and all, he didn't mind messing around with the rules of the match. He wasn't sure how it would work out though... he might be be sounding insane.

Cursing himself, Ezekiel allowed himself to 'trip' and fall, rolling across the ground and grinding to a halt after coming back upright. He'd seen his opponent escape the blue mist, and turned to face her again, his face looking rather blank. He could still feel where she had shot him in the neck- quite a painful thing.
The thin fog that he was now standing by wasn't much for cover, and he was at a disadvantage to her, with a gun. But he didn't much mind- this person was asking for rules, and rules he would propose.
"Not really anything, other than don't use those again." Ezekiel faked like he was clearing his ear with his pinkie, as though it had hurt him to stand amongst the noise. In truth it had, but he didn't intend on simply saying it.
Finishing his task he stood up strait, allowing his spear to rest on his shoulder as he placed it on the ground. "Do you have any?"

Oh, she couldn't use the cover tactics? She guessed that he was going to play by the same rules, it wasn't fair for just one of them to have a handicap really. Though she shouldn't complain. Chrissy nodded furiously, seemingly excited about getting going again. Adding the rules made it more game like and it was easier for Ivan to concentrate on it like that instead of a huge normal fight like it was serious or something. Gosh, why did they seem like that. This game was a bit too realistic for his liking, it was like only he was designed for a game in mind.
"How about we play three strikes? The first one to hit the other one three times wins?" she said, giggling and then adjusting her swimsuit a bit. All the moving and moon bounces had made it ride up her butt and it was uncomfortable. Gosh, he was still regretting his choice of outfit.. but it definitely made him stand out like he thought it would.

Ezekiel rubbed his neck. The child really was just a child... and a very good sport at that. He almost respected, even admired that sort of a quality in a person. Would she make a good ally?
Ezekiel killed the though instantly. I know nothing about her. What if she's not trustworthy? I'd fall right into her hands.
Remembering only then that he could simply look her up in his book, Ezekiel looked up at the tip of his spear, wondering if he should take advantage of this moment to retrieve his hat or cloak, but decided to simply stand still.
"You got a deal. Three hits, then someone's out." He thought about saying 'don't try to cheat me now' but he felt the idea applied more to him than her. On top of that he could have simply popped open the book to see who would win, but that sort of defeated the purpose, didn't it?
