That did it! Maelys was officially furious at the blatant taunt. It would take quite a great deal of ability to calm him down. Now when He gets mad, he usually doesn`t care for the rules of combat, sometimes breaking them just to make a point.
Maelys:"THAT`S IT, BANANA BOY!!!!!"
(He`s not very creative with taunts. Then again, neither am I)
Evi: Who has been sitting in the grass the whole time. "Oh shit"
Maelys`s Dagger, a 1 1/2 foot one, i might add, was out in a flash.
Maelys:"Show me you can actually swordfight!!"
He ran towards Nouri and swiped a horizontal slash headed for Nouri`s left, with much more power and speed than before. Maelys was not just in a rage, he was in a controlled, an "on purpose" rage, focused on one person in particular.

Oh dear, the brute finally shows off a bit of berserk rage. Oh well, it couldn't be helped. Messing around like this was just too much fun on a bun! But things were getting interesting as his opponent actually brandished a weapon for once.. though it looked like a bit of a short sword of sorts. The blade that had jutted out from Nouri's left sheave retracted right back into it as he observed Maelys little fit of anger.
"Banana Boy..? Well, that's just not berry nice."
No it wasn't.. and now, before he could brink.. his opponent leaped up at him and swiped at his left so quickly. Nouri jumped back but, not fast enough as the tip of the blade grazed the bridge of his nose. Hm.. ok, that was a fast improvement. But at least he had something to back him up. Down from out of his right sheave, a seemingly ordinary revolver had dropped right into his hand which he swiftly pointed towards Maelys's chest and pulled the trigger.

The bullet hit Maelys in` the center of his chest, doing good damage. It also stopped Maelys`s momentum. He charged again, this time holding his dagger in ready position.
He was going to win this, or leave humiliated being beaten by a banana, he thought.

Oh this guy, being such a die-hard and all, he was making it all the more tougher to get out of this range. Backshuffing from his current position, a thin blade of energy burst out from the battle of the revolver and with it, strange symbols began to surface over top the weapon itself. Was he preparing to strike? Actually, no. He was smiling ever so innocently with the bit of blood from the flesh wound on his nose dripping down into the grass. "Hey, lets take a break. I'm a little hungry and I would like to actually talk to you and your sister for a moment if... that's ok." he casually said. The energy of his weapon had disappeared from view and he placed his gun right back into the inside of his coat, just before walking over to the young girl and plopping down beside her. "Come Come, lets sit!"

Maelys stopped his gharge. He was too angry to stop, but when this man sat down by his sister, he suddenly became fully concious, breaking from the rage, probably from the possible danger to Evi from this man. If he could hardly land a hit on this guy, Evi wouldn`t last a second against him. But as he looked at the man, out of his rage, and no longer battle ready, he sensed that Nouri had no evil intent. So he walked over to sit on the other side of Evi. Maelys:"Ok, umm........" He thought. He remembered buying some fruit in town. Evi had them in her pack. Then Evi pulled them out and passed an apple to them each, pulling one out for herself. Maelys:"Oh, by the way, my name`s Maelys.  " Evi:"And mine`s Evi. ;D" |

Oh an apple? This was delightful since now, he could have a healthy snack and save that snake he had skinned for another time! Talk about a win win situation.. but such things could be worried about later. He had two people in front of him that seemed nice.. and nicer seeing as he had been given free food too. Smiles abound, this was a good change of pace."Aha.. nice to meet you both then. I'm Nouri Aal Sephur.. just to be sure you have it memorized." For now was a time to talk and chat for a bit and enjoy the beautiful day ahead of them.. what they would talk about, who knew at this point? Anything was up for grabs.
