II. Extra Information
Hmiano Physiology: Hmiano have long beaks ending in a very sharp curve. Where the head and the beak connect they have a long almost lekku like piece of flesh to protect the sensitive connective tissue skin between the beak and head. The Hmiano almost always have their long feathered ears pointing upward, it is considered a defect if the ears point downward. Their eyes have adapted to the sudden changes from great amounts of light to pitch black. They also have a small film over their eyes to protect from the dust and sand of their homeland. Their whole bodies are feathered excepted for their hands, feet, and a good portion of their legs, which have scales on them. The spine is similar in the shape of a human. On their hands, and feet, they have sharp claws, which enables them to climb shear rock faces. Hmiano's wings are located underneathe the arms, however only fully grown Hmiano are able to fly. Their legs are similar in shape and muscle to that of kangaroos, which allows the Hmiano to launch themselves into flight. These adaptions lent themselves to their homeland mountain range
Appearance: Ahel's feathers are mainly the color of sand, with dark underlights. Her eyes are yellow, her small claws are jet black, and her scales are a slightly darker color than her feathers. Ahel wears a rather worn dark brown cloak with a small hood. Underneath the cloak she wears a dark green longed sleeved shirt, missing one sleeve. The other sleeve is replaced by a light brown dress, which is underneath the green long sleeved one. Her dress causes it look as if she is wearing a patterned skirt. The pattern on it is dark brown and shows the symbol of her home, a dragon in the shifting sands. Around her shoulder is a strap for her quiver which is decorated with small feathers from mountain birds. Her quiver is large enough to hold her bow. Ahel also wears light brown leg and arm wraps, which does not restrict her small wings.
I'm putting personality after History
Minor history before Ahel's birth: The Hmiano have had very little contact over the cycles and developed their own very unique beliefs. They believed that emotions control actions, which thus influence their destiny. Their ability's come from their control over their emotions and the ability to amplify them. Before Ahel was born, the humans of the Empire of Theyl invaded in order to spread their belief of the soul and stamp out all other beliefs. The Hmiano were out numbered and divided due to their tribal ways, and were defeated by the Theylans. Most of the tribes were captured and brought to the empire to be studied due to their use of emotions during battle. Those who were unable to use emotion were placed in towns among other species who had been conquered by Theyl.
Ahel's Story: Ahel grew up in one such town, however her mother was a Hluyieth~min Lavlir (an emotional soothsayer) who's powers went unnoticed by Theylans. Emerilon was a small refuge town, and Jaliu ka' qlif's ( Confusion Flower, Ahel's mother) gift was well known and a well kept secret. Jaliu would read the emotions of their destiny of the townspeople for food, when the garden in the back would not supply enough and other essentials, such as blankets and firewood.
Ahel, never knowing of her mountain home, was truly at peace with Emerilon and its swampy forests. Though her and her mother were the only ones of their kind in Emerilon, she didn't feel lonely. Ahel would play with the local children, and tend the garden with her beloved mother. Jaliu always watchful, would peek every five minutes at Ahel, for though Emerlion was safer than most refuge towns, there were beatings and murders by humans that could not tolerate other species. One day Jaliu was looking out after an emotion reading, and noticed that Ahel was concentrating intensely on Mijlu, a local boy who often came over and had reptilian features... This was unusual for Ahel was only five human years old. When Jaliu edged closer to see what was occuring, she hear her daughter's voice droning in the rythmic fashion of a reading. Though she could not make out what Ahel was telling Mijlu, it was something startling for his face turned white... A few days later Mijlu was badly injured by a roaming band of soldiers looking for a"bit of fun". Ahel, when told this did not seem to be shocked at all, though she was in tears... Jaliu understood the meaning of this reaction, and it confirmed her fears. Ahel was a Hluyieth~min Lavlir.
The powers of emotion normally manifest during the 15th year, when the Hmiano's mind is fully able to handle all emotion. As Jaliu began to train Ahel in emotion, she noticed that Ahel grasped the emotions fairly well and was ready to move onto emotional reading. In order for a Hluyieth~min Lavlir to read emotions they require a sphere of crystal in order to view the strands of emotion more carefully, as well as capture memories to analyze them. Hluyieth~min Lavlirs can read the basic flow of emotions without one, but the reading must be done with strong emotions that will not fade (such as anger) and can only read into the near destiny. Jaliu, acquired a sphere of quartz and gave it Ahel, along with her bow and quiver, which she had brought from home. Orginally at the age of coming (15) she was going to give it, but since Ahel is now a fledgling Hluyieth~min Lavlir, she would be targeted....
Over the course of the next three years, the Quartz sphere bonded to Ahel, and fond memories filled with love of her mother were held within the orb. Ahel herself began to do emotional readings, but as Ahel began to do such... her mother noticed a change in her personality... it was seperating into two different entitys. During the readings Ahel acted almost emotionless and it was as if she had aged mentally... She also gained a hatred of humans, from what her mother jaliu expects comes from analyzing the memories of those who had lived through the sacking of their homes... While out in the garden, she was the same cheerful girl and acted as if she hadn't had a single care in the world, always wearing a smile of innocence.
One night Ahel, who's job it was to make the fire, put in too much tinder and wood. and in her tiredness from the earlier reading, did not realize that she had not cleared the extra tinder from off the hearth's stone front. Ahel fell sound asleep on her bed, which was on the first floor. Only a while after she fell alseep, the embers from the heart of the fire caught fire on the tinder which was messily thrown about and it was not long before the house itself was alit. Ahel awaking to an inferno, grabbed her bow and quiver lying by her bed and rushed out the window. The minutes ticked by and Ahel became more and more nervous about her mother, and rushed back into the house, against the yells of the startled villagers who had awakened to the fire aglow in the middle of the night. Ahel managed up the stairs to the second floor of their small house, and opened the door to her mother's room to see her mother limp and burned. Shocked Ahel stood there for a moment, untill she heard cracking and ran downstairs for there were no windows on the top floor. *creaaakcrashhh* one of the beams fell right on top of Ahel, searing the back of her body with great pain. Ahel could feel her body burning, and passed out just as she saw a few of the villagers enter the house...
Ahel woke to find herself in a hospital... with humans. Though humans in Theyl greatly dislike other species, doctors are obligated to treat them, for even if they aren't taken in for "study" they prove to be a valuable exercise in medicine. She could barely tolerate it, but the doctors showed no signs of violent intent, so months went by as she began her rehabilitation, with a back brace (which she still wears) for she severely hurt her spine when the beam fell across her back. Through out those months she was plagued by guilt... looking back upon that night, she realized that it was her fault that the fire begun... that her mother died. It was then that her personalities split, for she could not handle the burden of knowing that she was the cause of her mother's death even though it was indirect. The quartz orb that survived the fire, changed from its pearly white to a deep dark black.
At the end of Ahel's rehabilitaion, she was pulled aside by the doctors into a strange room. Once in that room the doctors began to smirk, saying, "Its rather surprising to find out one so young, that is able to use such an evil power... Looks like we'll have to ship you off to that capital". Another doctor continued after seeing the surprise on Ahel's face, "its not really surprising, after all there were times when you slept the whole room was on fire". As the doctor finished his sentence, Ahel was already tensed to spring. She jumped and slashed with her talons. With this chance she ran back to her room and grabbed her bow and quiver, with the orb following her. In her state of mind, she unleaeshed the first of her memories stored into the orb, that of the fire and its fear, which amplified into inferno of flames.
Ahel escaped, however became hunted throughout the empire. She stole food to live, and through he constant encounters, she learned to wield her emotions as her shield and weapon.
Hmiano believe that emotion is destiny... When Ahel was cornered in an old village, she wished with all her heart to live anew. It was the emotion behind it that opened the door into the world of Smashbros.
Personality: Ahel has a total of three persona, all can be distinguished by the orb's color.
White - Ahel doesn't remember the fire nor anything afterwords, because of this she cannot use many of her attacks. She's innocent and kind hearted, and is willing to help almost anyone. Ahel also doesn't have her hatred towards humans in this persona. This persona normally comes out when she doesn't feel threatened, or is alone. This persona is the rarest of all of them. . .
Gray- Ahel remembers parts of her past, however her memories that she hides within the darker persona are missing. Ahel, will help, if it doesn't endanger her. She dislikes humans, but doesn't let it cloud her judgement. If need be she can converse on an adult level, however all memory of that conversation will not be remembered in her white persona. This persona appears if she's alert, or feels a threat. Ahel can also fight in this persona
Black - Ahel remembers everything of her past. Ahel survives for herself and those she wishes to protect (none at the moment).I n this persona Ahel is almost emotionless. Also her combat and shielding abilities are strongest in this persona. This persona is activated when Ahel is in danger. Out of all the personas, the hatred of humans is the strongest...

Ahel can speak both Hmiano and human, however she has the tendency to blend the two at times. When referring to someone she uses Hmiano honorifics, which are attached to the end of the noun.

Agility: due to her small size and speed, she is surprisingly quick, though it is not super human speed
Hatred/Dislike: Due to her hatred against humans (in dark persona, dislike in gray persona) it costs her less stats than normal to channel anger
Tolerance: Growing up around many species, has made her tolerant, which allows Ahel to more easily channel the serenity emotion when fighting non-humans
Sense: Due to her training, Ahel can sense emotions at distance at the greatest of 30 yard (This will be explained further below)
Weaknesses
Phobia: Due to the fact that she lost her mother to fire, and that she herself nearly died, Ahel has a phobia of fire, other than the flames called through amplification of her memory. Ahel has the tendency to freeze up around fire.
Hatred/Dislike: Due to her hatred against humans (in dark persona, dislike in gray persona), it costs her more stats to channel the serenity emotion
Tolerance: Growing up around many species, has made her tolerant, as well as understanding, which makes it harder to channel the anger emotion against non humans.
Endurance: Being a young child, Ahel may have alot of mental endurance, how she does not know how to conserve it. She has issues with long fights.
White Persona: Unless she detects danger, Ahel is vulnerable in this form since she cannot attack, and can only use the good memories, which are listed later on. It takes approximately 2 posts to switch from white to black, and 1 post to switch from white to gray persona
Strength: Though the hmiano are stronger than normal humans, Ahel is young and has very little strength

Fighting Style: If possible Ahel, will use her mother's bow to keep enemies at bay. However if her bow does not seem effective, she will resort to the amplification of emotions or certain memories stored within the quartz orb. Though it is frowned upon by the rest of her species; when forced into close combat, Ahel will use her talons/claws on both her feet and hands. Her hand to hand combat style really isn't a style rather a combination of dirty tricks, rends and slashes.
B. Weapons and Key Items
Weapon: Silsow ka' mhenori (Eye of the sandstorm; her mother's bow) Its name is engraved on its side and is made out of bone, as well as leather. The bow is decorated with on the top with feathers from the predator birds around Yerl mhadel ka' Lavlir. Where arrows are meant to be notched there is a light blue crystal, similar to that of Ahel's quartz sphere. It is a Hluyieth~min Lavlir weapon, and does not use arrows, instead emotional threads. The bow also isn't strung, therefore conventional arrows cannot be used at all. Ahel uses only two types of emotional threads, anger and serenity.

Quiver of Silsow ka' mhenori: can hold about 30 emotional thread at a time. Ahel can make these arrows outside and during combat, though both tolerance/hatred traits do not apply to the mental endurance cost of making them within battle.
Quartz Orb
The orb her mother gave her in order to capture memories and help amplify emotions. The orb's main purpose is to capture memories in order for the Hluyieth~min Lavlir to analyze the emotions more closely. However The orb also contains its owner's memories as well (kinda like a diary). The orb's presence allows Ahel to access the emotions from her memories, amplify, and manifest them. The quartz orb is highly attached to Ahel, in fact it floats around her shoulder. As a side effect of being attached to Ahel, it changes color when her emotions do.
*note* The orb is indestructible for emotional energy is almost always coursing between Ahel and it. This flow protects the orb from harm... also it means that if Ahel should die, the orb will shatter.

Emotional reading
- Use One- During battle, Ahel can sense the basic flows of emotion if they are strong emotions such as anger or hatred. Confusion however cannot be read. Being able to sense the basic flow, Ahel is able to make a rough guess as to where the blows will land. Though she may be able to sense where she would be hit (for example a bullet), Ahel may not be able to react fast enough to dodge the attack anyway (aka teleportation, sonic waves, bullets). Also Ahel cannot read emotions well enough to figure out how the opponent will attack.

-Use 2- Ahel was taught by her mother to follow the tracks left behind by strong emotions. She was trained to do emotional reading, however due to her only basic mastery and experience with this skill, she can only read the destiny of a character's personal life. Ahel is also limited to reading threads of emotion that affect at the most two people; reading multiple threads are beyond her skill. (In other words, emotional reading must be set up before hand, and only into personal life affect at the most two people).

When Ahel is hurt, she can channel the emotion of that specific pain (pain is the emotion of nerves/skin) at her enemy, who inflicted it. Though this does not physically hurt the enemy, it cause them phantom pain, exactly the pain inflicted on Ahel. Ahel can only pain reflect in the span of half a post after hurt.

- due to the hmiano's sharp talons on both their feet and hands, they can easily scale rocky walls. This all depends upon their strength though, and so Ahel, being young cannot scale large heights.
Filmy Eyes

- Hmiano's eyes have a light film over their eyes that protects their eyes from damage due to fierce sandstorms. Also their eyes adapt quickly to changes in light, allowing the hmiano, who live within rock faces to see rather well in both the blinding light of the sun and in their homes.
Hovering

- Hmiano have wings underneath their arms, which they use to fly with. Ahel's wings are not fully grown, and thus she can only hover for a short while (1 post). When Ahel is hovering, she cannot use her bow for obvious reasons.
D. Attacks
Serenity thread: A bluish looking thread, it has the properties and strength of a normal arrow except that the thread can curve, and will follow its intended path (which cannot be changed when thread has been released... and no corkscrews either). The intended path is determined by the guidance of Ahel's fingers. Should she push the thread to the right, it will arc to the right. How sharp of an arc is determined by the length it is drawn. The shorter the thread is drawn the sharper the curve. Wind does not affect the thread.

Anger thread: a reddish looking thread, its a lot stronger than a normal arrow, as it can pierce iron. It however is easily dodged, for it does not deviate from its intended path and is some what slower than a normal arrow. Wind does not affect the thread.

Emotion
There are many emotions, too many to be named. A Hluyieth~min Lavlir are able to read the destiny of others through emotion, but they also posses the ability to channel and amplify their own emotions. Thus they can manifest the emotion... though they may only do this if they understand the emotion in question with their whole being. Ahel can channel a total of 6 emotions; Sorrow, Love, Anger, Annoyance, Confusion, Serenity, and Fear. At level 1 ahel can channel only three of these emotions proficiently. By channeling the emotion, it is meant that Ahel recalls the emotion, and when such is done, that emotion consumes her. Very little of other emotions show through, though Ahel can stop channeling that particular emotion to channel another quite fast (1/4th of a post).
Mikare lo' Halith (Love is strength)

Ahel channels love and amplifys it into a frontal shield. It is of medium strength and does not cover her sides or her rear. This shield can take a few blows from a sword (3-4), or a magic blast.
Every post this shield is up, 5 or 7 mental endurance is drained. Can be used on others.

Ahel channels the emotion of love through her body. This amplification removes foreign substances from her body, such as poison. Can be used on others.
Serenity

Channeling the emotion of serenity, Ahel Clears her mind and is able to focus more clearly oh her and her enemy's emotion. (For example if the enemy "clones" himself, Ahel using calm mind will be able to pick out the true enemy)

Channeling the emotion of serenity into her body, Ahel can "burst" the energy through her talons. Her talons do more damage as long as the effect lasts (1 and 1/2 posts)

By channeling her anger into a small area of her body, Ahel is able to create a very strong shield. However this shield is very small in size, but it can take quite a few blows. Ahel has the tendency to channel the anger into her elbows, so that the shield functions as a buckler. Every post this shield is up it drains an extra 5/7 Mental endurance points
Feridth (Berserk)

Ahel channels and amplifys anger/rage throughout her whole body. This causes her to move swifter, and react faster, as her fatigue fades while under the influence of the amplification. Last for two and 1/2 posts. Ahel can send others into this frenzy as well, if she has their consent.

Channel her anger into a small ball, It manifests into a small fiery
blast. This small blast originates over where her heart lays. It can be hard to avoid in close combat.
Memories
There are six different memories stored within the orb. Only three of these memories are available to the white and gray personas. However all six memories can be called on in the black persona. The recolllection of these memories each have a specific recoil effect on Ahel, as she must relive the memory stored and then amplify and manifest the emotions of that memory. Ahel’s ability to amplify memories is not fully developed at level 1, the only memory she is currently able to amplify is that of the fire.

The final memory stored within the orb; the memory of the fire which Ahel herself started. Rage and fear are the emotions that this memory contains and it manifests itself as multiple streams of fire. (similar to Mario's final smash if you will) The streams of fire are rather hard to dodge for they follow the intended target, but they are possible to dodge. Lasts for two posts and a half. Only the dark persona can amplify this memory
Effect on Ahel: She can no longer amplify the emotion of the memories within the orb. Ahel has lost her will to do such.

Hluyieth~min Lavlirs can read the basic flow of emotions without one, but the reading must be done with strong emotions that will not fade (such as anger) and can only read into the near destiny. Jaliu, acquired a sphere of quartz and gave it Ahel, along with her bow and quiver, which she had brought from home. Orginally at the age of coming (15) she was going to give it, but since Ahel is now a fledgling Hluyieth~min Lavlir, she would be targeted....
Over the course of the next three years, the Quartz sphere bonded to Ahel, and fond memories filled with love of her mother were held within the orb. Ahel herself began to do emotional readings, but as Ahel began to do such... her mother noticed a change in her personality... it was seperating into two different entitys. During the readings Ahel acted almost emotionless and it was as if she had aged mentally... She also gained a hatred of humans, from what her mother jaliu expects comes from analyzing the memories of those who had lived through the sacking of their homes... While out in the garden, she was the same cheerful girl and acted as if she hadn't had a single care in the world, always wearing a smile of innocence.
One night Ahel, who's job it was to make the fire, put in too much tinder and wood. and in her tiredness from the earlier reading, did not realize that she had not cleared the extra tinder from off the hearth's stone front. Ahel fell sound asleep on her bed, which was on the first floor. Only a while after she fell alseep, the embers from the heart of the fire caught fire on the tinder which was messily thrown about and it was not long before the house itself was alit. Ahel awaking to an inferno, grabbed her bow and quiver lying by her bed and rushed out the window. The minutes ticked by and Ahel became more and more nervous about her mother, and rushed back into the house, against the yells of the startled villagers who had awakened to the fire aglow in the middle of the night. Ahel managed up the stairs to the second floor of their small house, and opened the door to her mother's room to see her mother limp and burned. Shocked Ahel stood there for a moment, untill she heard cracking and ran downstairs for there were no windows on the top floor. *creaaakcrashhh* one of the beams fell right on top of Ahel, searing the back of her body with great pain. Ahel could feel her body burning, and passed out just as she saw a few of the villagers enter the house...
Ahel woke to find herself in a hospital... with humans. Though humans in Theyl greatly dislike other species, doctors are obligated to treat them, for even if they aren't taken in for "study" they prove to be a valuable exercise in medicine. She could barely tolerate it, but the doctors showed no signs of violent intent, so months went by as she began her rehabilitation, with a back brace (which she still wears) for she severely hurt her spine when the beam fell across her back. Through out those months she was plagued by guilt... looking back upon that night, she realized that it was her fault that the fire begun... that her mother died. It was then that her personalities split, for she could not handle the burden of knowing that she was the cause of her mother's death even though it was indirect. The quartz orb that survived the fire, changed from its pearly white to a deep dark black.
At the end of Ahel's rehabilitaion, she was pulled aside by the doctors into a strange room. Once in that room the doctors began to smirk, saying, "Its rather surprising to find out one so young, that is able to use such an evil power... Looks like we'll have to ship you off to that capital". Another doctor continued after seeing the surprise on Ahel's face, "its not really surprising, after all there were times when you slept the whole room was on fire". As the doctor finished his sentence, Ahel was already tensed to spring. She jumped and slashed with her talons. With this chance she ran back to her room and grabbed her bow and quiver, with the orb following her. In her state of mind, she unleaeshed the first of her memories stored into the orb, that of the fire and its fear, which amplified into inferno of flames.
Ahel escaped, however became hunted throughout the empire. She stole food to live, and through he constant encounters, she learned to wield her emotions as her shield and weapon.
Hmiano believe that emotion is destiny... When Ahel was cornered in an old village, she wished with all her heart to live anew. It was the emotion behind it that opened the door into the world of Smashbros.
Personality: Ahel has a total of three persona, all can be distinguished by the orb's color.
White - Ahel doesn't remember the fire nor anything afterwords, because of this she cannot use many of her attacks. She's innocent and kind hearted, and is willing to help almost anyone. Ahel also doesn't have her hatred towards humans in this persona. This persona normally comes out when she doesn't feel threatened, or is alone. This persona is the rarest of all of them. . .
Gray- Ahel remembers parts of her past, however her memories that she hides within the darker persona are missing. Ahel, will help, if it doesn't endanger her. She dislikes humans, but doesn't let it cloud her judgement. If need be she can converse on an adult level, however all memory of that conversation will not be remembered in her white persona. This persona appears if she's alert, or feels a threat. Ahel can also fight in this persona
Black - Ahel remembers everything of her past. Ahel survives for herself and those she wishes to protect (none at the moment).I n this persona Ahel is almost emotionless. Also her combat and shielding abilities are strongest in this persona. This persona is activated when Ahel is in danger. Out of all the personas, the hatred of humans is the strongest...
Speech
Ahel can speak both Hmiano and human, however she has the tendency to blend the two at times. When referring to someone she uses Hmiano honorifics, which are attached to the end of the noun.

Strengths
Agility: due to her small size and speed, she is surprisingly quick, though it is not super human speed
Hatred/Dislike: Due to her hatred against humans (in dark persona, dislike in gray persona) it costs her less stats than normal to channel anger
Tolerance: Growing up around many species, has made her tolerant, which allows Ahel to more easily channel the serenity emotion when fighting non-humans
Sense: Due to her training, Ahel can sense emotions at distance at the greatest of 30 yard (This will be explained further below)
Weaknesses
Phobia: Due to the fact that she lost her mother to fire, and that she herself nearly died, Ahel has a phobia of fire, other than the flames called through amplification of her memory. Ahel has the tendency to freeze up around fire.
Hatred/Dislike: Due to her hatred against humans (in dark persona, dislike in gray persona), it costs her more stats to channel the serenity emotion
Tolerance: Growing up around many species, has made her tolerant, as well as understanding, which makes it harder to channel the anger emotion against non humans.
Endurance: Being a young child, Ahel may have alot of mental endurance, how she does not know how to conserve it. She has issues with long fights.
White Persona: Unless she detects danger, Ahel is vulnerable in this form since she cannot attack, and can only use the good memories, which are listed later on. It takes approximately 2 posts to switch from white to black, and 1 post to switch from white to gray persona
Strength: Though the hmiano are stronger than normal humans, Ahel is young and has very little strength

Combatant Type: Ranged (bow) Spellcaster (Hluyieth~min Lavlir)
Fighting Style: If possible Ahel, will use her mother's bow to keep enemies at bay. However if her bow does not seem effective, she will resort to the amplification of emotions or certain memories stored within the quartz orb. Though it is frowned upon by the rest of her species; when forced into close combat, Ahel will use her talons/claws on both her feet and hands. Her hand to hand combat style really isn't a style rather a combination of dirty tricks, rends and slashes.
B. Weapons and Key Items
Weapon: Silsow ka' mhenori (Eye of the sandstorm; her mother's bow) Its name is engraved on its side and is made out of bone, as well as leather. The bow is decorated with on the top with feathers from the predator birds around Yerl mhadel ka' Lavlir. Where arrows are meant to be notched there is a light blue crystal, similar to that of Ahel's quartz sphere. It is a Hluyieth~min Lavlir weapon, and does not use arrows, instead emotional threads. The bow also isn't strung, therefore conventional arrows cannot be used at all. Ahel uses only two types of emotional threads, anger and serenity.

Quiver of Silsow ka' mhenori: can hold about 30 emotional thread at a time. Ahel can make these arrows outside and during combat, though both tolerance/hatred traits do not apply to the mental endurance cost of making them within battle.
Quartz Orb
The orb her mother gave her in order to capture memories and help amplify emotions. The orb's main purpose is to capture memories in order for the Hluyieth~min Lavlir to analyze the emotions more closely. However The orb also contains its owner's memories as well (kinda like a diary). The orb's presence allows Ahel to access the emotions from her memories, amplify, and manifest them. The quartz orb is highly attached to Ahel, in fact it floats around her shoulder. As a side effect of being attached to Ahel, it changes color when her emotions do.
*note* The orb is indestructible for emotional energy is almost always coursing between Ahel and it. This flow protects the orb from harm... also it means that if Ahel should die, the orb will shatter.
C. Abilities

Emotional reading
- Use One- During battle, Ahel can sense the basic flows of emotion if they are strong emotions such as anger or hatred. Confusion however cannot be read. Being able to sense the basic flow, Ahel is able to make a rough guess as to where the blows will land. Though she may be able to sense where she would be hit (for example a bullet), Ahel may not be able to react fast enough to dodge the attack anyway (aka teleportation, sonic waves, bullets). Also Ahel cannot read emotions well enough to figure out how the opponent will attack.

-Use 2- Ahel was taught by her mother to follow the tracks left behind by strong emotions. She was trained to do emotional reading, however due to her only basic mastery and experience with this skill, she can only read the destiny of a character's personal life. Ahel is also limited to reading threads of emotion that affect at the most two people; reading multiple threads are beyond her skill. (In other words, emotional reading must be set up before hand, and only into personal life affect at the most two people).

When Ahel is hurt, she can channel the emotion of that specific pain (pain is the emotion of nerves/skin) at her enemy, who inflicted it. Though this does not physically hurt the enemy, it cause them phantom pain, exactly the pain inflicted on Ahel. Ahel can only pain reflect in the span of half a post after hurt.

Rock Climb
passive
- due to the hmiano's sharp talons on both their feet and hands, they can easily scale rocky walls. This all depends upon their strength though, and so Ahel, being young cannot scale large heights.
Filmy Eyes
passive
- Hmiano's eyes have a light film over their eyes that protects their eyes from damage due to fierce sandstorms. Also their eyes adapt quickly to changes in light, allowing the hmiano, who live within rock faces to see rather well in both the blinding light of the sun and in their homes.
Hovering
passive
- Hmiano have wings underneath their arms, which they use to fly with. Ahel's wings are not fully grown, and thus she can only hover for a short while (1 post). When Ahel is hovering, she cannot use her bow for obvious reasons.
D. Attacks
Serenity thread: A bluish looking thread, it has the properties and strength of a normal arrow except that the thread can curve, and will follow its intended path (which cannot be changed when thread has been released... and no corkscrews either). The intended path is determined by the guidance of Ahel's fingers. Should she push the thread to the right, it will arc to the right. How sharp of an arc is determined by the length it is drawn. The shorter the thread is drawn the sharper the curve. Wind does not affect the thread.

Anger thread: a reddish looking thread, its a lot stronger than a normal arrow, as it can pierce iron. It however is easily dodged, for it does not deviate from its intended path and is some what slower than a normal arrow. Wind does not affect the thread.

Emotion
There are many emotions, too many to be named. A Hluyieth~min Lavlir are able to read the destiny of others through emotion, but they also posses the ability to channel and amplify their own emotions. Thus they can manifest the emotion... though they may only do this if they understand the emotion in question with their whole being. Ahel can channel a total of 6 emotions; Sorrow, Love, Anger, Annoyance, Confusion, Serenity, and Fear. At level 1 ahel can channel only three of these emotions proficiently. By channeling the emotion, it is meant that Ahel recalls the emotion, and when such is done, that emotion consumes her. Very little of other emotions show through, though Ahel can stop channeling that particular emotion to channel another quite fast (1/4th of a post).
Mikare lo' Halith (Love is strength)

Ahel channels love and amplifys it into a frontal shield. It is of medium strength and does not cover her sides or her rear. This shield can take a few blows from a sword (3-4), or a magic blast.
Every post this shield is up, 5 or 7 mental endurance is drained. Can be used on others.
Mikare lo' ka' Pilath (Love is the cure)

Ahel channels the emotion of love through her body. This amplification removes foreign substances from her body, such as poison. Can be used on others.
Serenity
Melo na' Neflian (Calm Mind)

Channeling the emotion of serenity, Ahel Clears her mind and is able to focus more clearly oh her and her enemy's emotion. (For example if the enemy "clones" himself, Ahel using calm mind will be able to pick out the true enemy)

Channeling the emotion of serenity into her body, Ahel can "burst" the energy through her talons. Her talons do more damage as long as the effect lasts (1 and 1/2 posts)
Anger

By channeling her anger into a small area of her body, Ahel is able to create a very strong shield. However this shield is very small in size, but it can take quite a few blows. Ahel has the tendency to channel the anger into her elbows, so that the shield functions as a buckler. Every post this shield is up it drains an extra 5/7 Mental endurance points
Feridth (Berserk)

Ahel channels and amplifys anger/rage throughout her whole body. This causes her to move swifter, and react faster, as her fatigue fades while under the influence of the amplification. Last for two and 1/2 posts. Ahel can send others into this frenzy as well, if she has their consent.
Drilso na' Grefith (Blast of anger)

Channel her anger into a small ball, It manifests into a small fiery
blast. This small blast originates over where her heart lays. It can be hard to avoid in close combat.
Memories
There are six different memories stored within the orb. Only three of these memories are available to the white and gray personas. However all six memories can be called on in the black persona. The recolllection of these memories each have a specific recoil effect on Ahel, as she must relive the memory stored and then amplify and manifest the emotions of that memory. Ahel’s ability to amplify memories is not fully developed at level 1, the only memory she is currently able to amplify is that of the fire.
Limit Break

The final memory stored within the orb; the memory of the fire which Ahel herself started. Rage and fear are the emotions that this memory contains and it manifests itself as multiple streams of fire. (similar to Mario's final smash if you will) The streams of fire are rather hard to dodge for they follow the intended target, but they are possible to dodge. Lasts for two posts and a half. Only the dark persona can amplify this memory
Effect on Ahel: She can no longer amplify the emotion of the memories within the orb. Ahel has lost her will to do such.
