Chapter 5: Eclipse of Sin

[Reeka Laboratories: Snicket, Kin, Geo, Snake, Eiron, Falcon]

Snicket watched in amazement as not only Kin, but several others answered his call and were standing beside him within minutes. Wow, he thought, I should use this Smash Orb more often...

The monsters had momentarily stopped approaching those in the middle of the bleached white room, startled by the newcomers from on high. Reeka seemed content to stand away from the group of SSS warriors closer to the safety of his grotesquely designed mutants. Tension had suddenly spiked exponentially now that the two sides both presented considerable threats to one another.

Taking advantage of the conveniently stalled scene, Bob turned to Kin and smiled gratefully, putting his black glove on the SSS Leader's shoulder. "Thank you for coming, Kin." He looked to the others. "Thank you all. I know this wasn't an easy thing to do given the current circumstances."

Snake nodded. "What are friends for, kid?"

Snicket briskly wiped a blob of green paint off his nose and wiped it on his pants. "Now then," he said hurriedly, back to business, "We don't have much time. Let me give you a quick lowdown on these four rather large opponents. I made them up, so I would know what they're capable of. Kin, you take on Mr. Dragon Patch. He has an inflated body, so target the patches and he'll deflate. Watch out for flaming beach balls. Geo and Snake, you focus on Aparidley. He sometimes spits out miniature versions of himself in addition to Ridley's Plasma Breath. Focus on the glowing tail. Eiron, Falcon; it'll take both of you to take down Krackorock. He hurls rocks, manipulates lightning, and on the odd occasion may self-destruct on you. Aim for the seven eyes on the center cloud portion of its body. As for me..." He eyed the beast behind him. "I'll deal with Piranha Gohma. Reeka--"

Their conversation was broken by several loud, ear-splitting roars blaring from the disfigured monsters. They were overcoming their shock and had begun to advance once more. Reeka giggled from the sidelines like a perverse little boy watching a spider advance to attack an ant he'd placed in its web.

Snicket nodded to his friends and turned to confront Piranha Gohma. Saliva shot from its mouth as it bellowed at the boy, his hammer stuck between two of its teeth like a toothpick. Bob was prepared to lunch at the beast in an attempt to wrench the hammer away, but at that moment he had a dramatic flashback. From his very first visit to the Dojo....

In the courtyard, dozens of Primids formed a circle around Snicket, closing off routes of escape. They began chanting menacingly as Petey Piranha made a mocking gesture with one of its leafy hands which Bob took to mean "Bring it!" It then roared long and ferociously, revealing rows of vicious white teeth, and the slimy insides of its mouth.

Snicket looked left, right, and behind him, realizing there was no way of avoiding this conflict. So he looked forward at the beast in from of him, and simply stared at it. Intensely.

Petey Piranha somehow stared back, and suddenly its entire train of thought changed. A voice in its head whispered,

What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be home taking care of the young ones?

It replied with its own thought:But they're fine! They're safe at home with Mama! I've got to follow the Master's orders and help take over this place...

Voice: But why do you work for your master? Aren't you too important for slave work? Shouldn't you be doing something better? Don't you deserve more?

Petey:(with sudden realization) Yeah..I SHOULD...

Voice: And shouldn't you confess to Mama that you ate all the waffles, not Gulpins? And what about when you stole that Barbie set...

Petey: Stop it, whoever you are! Stop! You're making my brain hurt!

Voice:(ignoring Petey) ...and the time you ate Princess Peach...and all the times Mario has bested you...maybe you're not worth so much after all...

Petey: AAARRRGGHHHH!!!! I can't take it anymore!

Petey and Snicket had been facing each other in the same position, not moving, the Primids' chant fading...
"GRRRAAWWWGGGHHH!!!!!!!" The Piranha Plant roared in agony at the voice terrorizing its mind. It lifted off on its small leafy arms into the air and passed out of view over the woods beyond, still moaning in mental pain...

"Petey?" Snicket tried to communicate with the spider-plant combination, but all the loud noises occurring in other parts of the room drowned out his voice. But he had to figure out whether this creature had the mind of Gohma or Petey Piranha....

He narrowed his eyes in concentration and probed the monster's mind with his own, gaining entrance smoothly through the thin psychological membrane. This time, however, torture was not the objective.

Petey? Is that you?

The beast faltered as it was about to lunge forward with its eight spidery legs to consume its prey. That voice in its head was so familiar.

Mind Boy? I remember you. You made my head hurt and tricked me into flying away. That was mean. I didn't like it.

Yes, about that, Petey, I'm very sorry. I had nothing against you, I was only trying to protect my friends. You understand that, don't you? You would do anything to keep Mama Piranha safe, right?

...Hm...yeah, I suppose I would. But... The sickly yellow eye was on the verge of tears. But then the mean dwarf man with the diamond eyes came and killed my family, and took me away to the scary black building! He did things and I hurted a lot, and now I feel all weird and different. I...I feel sad!

Snicket softened. He had always known you couldn't judge a book by its cover, and this proved the notion to the extreme. He found himself actually feeling sympathy for the poor beast. He knew well what it was like to feel alone.

Nearly oblivous to the other confrontations going on, Bob approached Piranha Gohma warily, and, hesitating, patted the great flowery head gently. He smiled.

It's all right, Petey. We can get back at the dwarf man now...

[Naked Snake II]

[Geo, Snake VERSUS Aparidley]

"Got it." Said the Devensian with such confidence. "You ready Snake?"
Snake replied with a few coughs and a nod. The enemy began to growl as it stared down Geo and Snake. "Geo, if u can distract him off of me, I'll plant C4 all around him. That'll shut him up quickly."
"Alright." said Geo. "I'll see what I can do."

Both Geo and Aparidley srated each other down

OOC: I take it Aparidley can fly?

Snicket's Edited-In Answer: Yes.

"...And so, with these drills, few remaining aircraft, and the brave volunteer conscripts who have offered their assistance today, we'll tear Crehavos into millions of peices to make him pay for what he's done! Through the portal, lay's the demon's den." LGN restated to MM.

The volunteer force consisting with the SSS was ready to rock. They all had filed into the drill-mechs and transports. Everyone was tense, but they all held their heads high, eyes gleaming with determination and the lust for redemption. Engines reved up thrusters firing, the machines entered the rift with an unseen aura that was fueled by the will to take down this diabacal empire.

"But LGN," Peram interveened, "what would we be drilling through if we're going through a conviently placed portal?" Peram offered a good point, but building all these drills almost unaturally quickly and then saving they would be completely worthless would be a waste of plot lines.

"Because we look stylish, Peram." LGN complied.

Nerco made a swift estimate in his head as they were speaking on when they would arrive and engage as he drove the drill, he then blurted out, "Two minutes!"

LGN made a dramatic turn to the group behind him, volunteers and brawlers alike. They were all hunkered down, ready and waiting for another overly dramtic speech. Like a cliched film LGN was able to grab the intercom so he could communicate with all transports without even looking or realizing he had almost grabbed Ness' yo-yo instead.

"Men, women, Metroids, dragon dinosaur like devices," LGN began addressing the Yoshi, "and everyone else; we have one primary goal today. The moment the work camps have been liberated we are ordered by the desperation of the situation to march, no, blitz and scream all the way to the Demon's door, you know the rest from there."

Unfortuantly, multi-tasking probably wasn't Nerco's strong suit and they arrived much, much swifter than they had expected. The fact that the drills could be heard quite clearly over most of the commotion at the work camps did not help. The camps weren't heavily armed, the demons and beasts of Hell were almost too engrossed in their tortering of the prisoners of Crehavos did they notice, but they had some emplaced cannons that could tear through those drills.

LGN was caught off guard by the sudden appearance, but attempted to keep everyone calm, even himself. " All shall combat in the greatest moment of our entire lives at this hour. In the name of freedom and liberity we're given the task to end this reign of tyranny and to defend the rest of the universe from whatever lies ahead!" Just then, LGN heard the sound of some emplaced captipults launching large stones at the drill-mechs and transports. The sound of one of the rocks smashing into a drill-mech and the defening explosion shock the surface and the morale of the team. Yells could be heard from outside the hard walls of the mech.

"Forward, against the Hellion beings who imprison our brothers; not one step back! Leave nothing of this filth left, only leave a sign of victory that we defeated the odds and were the truiest saviors of the universe! Death to Hellion invaders! Hoorah!"

OOC: And with that crappy post the battle begins.

[The Solid War Doctor]

[Zel, Palutena, Commander Cody, and Link]
[In route to FAC (fallen angel castle)]

Zel held his fist up and the quartet stopped to take a breater. "I can...see the end to the canyon........wall." And with that they ran off to finish the first stretch before the open rocky plain in front of the Castle which would play host to the deciding battle to this war.

The group reached the plain to find the entire Hellion Army awaiting the smaller SSS army. Zel surveyed the area and saw a smaller building about 2 miles West of the Castle.

"Thats where the scanners were taking the information from. Our allies are in their." Cody explained.

Zel turned to the Godess "Palutena I need you to go back to the army and warn them that the enemy is waiting for them at the end of the Canyon."

"I will do as you ask, good luck finding your friends" and with that the Palutena warped off to warn the army.

"What now Zel" Link asked wondering how they were going to sneak around such a large army.

"Well, I have an idea. We play possum" Zel stated.

"Excuse me?" Link said.

"Sir you dont mean we surrender and then use it to our advantage by killing the men that take us to the Castle and then go off to the building to the right do you," Cody asked.

Zel was suprised that Cody had figured out the plan that quick. " I do indeed Cody. Follow suit." Zel said as he walked out into the open in plain site. "Dont fire we are surrending, its just us three."

[Naked Snake II]

[Geo and Snake V Aparidley]

Geo quickly transformed into his epic Devensian mode. "Come and get me." That said, he flew towards Aparidley and struck it in the eyes with an energyball to get the enfused creatured focused on Geo. To make sure Aparidley would follow, Geo turned around pulled his eyelid down and stuck his tounge at Aparidley.
Infuriated, the wings of Aparidley gained motion. As his wings tried to make Aparidley mid-air, he picked up gusts of winds throwing everything near-by around. It took off trying to catch Geo. Finally distracted, Snake put on his Octo-Camo face mask and laid on the ground for a solid few seconds...Chewwwwchuiiiii. The color of his siut and mask changed from the blue to the bleached white making it extremely hard to see the legendary hero. Snake slowly moved his arm to his back to reach out and get the C4 in such a calm and slow way that no one could would notice what was happening. Just as he was going to plant one, he thought of a better idea.
(In his mind)What if I plant the explosives on Aparidley instead of waiting for it to land? I'm going to need Geo to swoop down close enough so Aparidley can make make contact.)
Snake flopped over on his back and hid the C4.
(Just got to wait for Geo to get closer...This might take a while)

[The Solid War Doctor]

[Zel, Cody, and Link]
[Hell]

Zel and his crew walked towards the castle with about 15 guards with the status of "important prisoners". When they were about 50 feet away from the back of the enemies Zel stopped and keeled over. One of the guards came to see what was going on. To his suprise Zel leapt up and grabbed the guards sword and stabbed him in the gut. Link and Cody did the same and they quickly and quietly silenced the lot of them. Zel grabbed the key to their cuffs that they were made to where and released them. He picked up his sword and staff, Cody picked up his blaster and grenades, and Link picked up his sword and shield.

"Well did my plan work or what. We got past the enemy and got closer to our allies." Zel laughed.

"Well sir I think our allies were about to find us" Cody said as he pointed to the roof of the dimension.

The ceiling of Hell was being penetrated from the other side. A great drill dropped through the hole to the ground landing near the work camps near the enemy lines.

"Now who could that be I wonder." Zel thought. "Come on lets go"

They ran off to the somewhat smaller building that was now only 1 mile away from the Castle. As they got closer Zel could sense multiple battles ensuing inside. Three in fact. Three seperate battles going on inside the building. Zel also picked up on a plan to split up and regroup as they drew near to the mysterious building. After 30 minutes they finally reached the building. There was a sign to the right of the gate. It read "Beware, Mad Scientist ~ Uylesses Reeka"

"Hmmm guess he likes to keep to himself." Link joked.

The trio walked in to find 3 seperate paths one going up, one staying on the same floor and the last going down.

"Alright heres the plan. The three of us split up and try and find our allies. There are three battles going on and I take it that those are some of the enemies creatures. Cody you go up. Link go straight, I'll go down. Now let us make haste." Zel commanded.


OCC: Link is going to you BB, Cody is going to Geo, and Snicket I'm comming to back you up. PM if you need me to change something.

[Voltage, unconscious Genesis, Alica]

(OOC: Maxi is busy, so he wanted to post for him.)

Voltage had been battling Alica for a bit now. Alica had a broken arm and several bad bruises. Voltage had a few scrapes and bruises as well. Anger welling up, Voltage swung his kanebo, missing but sending a crate at her from the wind that the swing had caused. Alica ducked, and spoke. "This is not proving to be in my favor..." She created a portal of light and left. Voltage nonchalantly put his kanebo over his shoulder. "Damn." He looked back at Genesis, still lying down, battling Dark Genesis no doubt. Abdol and the Super Humans came running, with Crush hopping behind them. Abdol began speaking to Voltage.

"What happened?" Voltage allowed his kanebo to disappear, he no longer needed it. "I fought Alica, but she got away. Genesis knocked himself out to fight Dark Genesis." Nene knelt down to make sure Genesis was alright. Voltage spoke again, this time to Crush. "Crush, lets get out of here." Crush hopped over and made herself next to Voltage. As they started to leave, Reynal spoke. "You're not gonna stay?" Voltage stopped. "Nah. This is starting to bore me." Voltage and Crush left the Super Humans to tend to themselves.

[Random Skytown Hanger]
[Voltage, Crush]

Crush was getting a little scared. The hanger was dark and empty. Wishing to break the silence, she spoke. "You think they will be ok?" Voltage was working on getting a ship's door open. As he messed with the wires, he replied. "Yeah, the Super Humans are nothing to sniff at." The door opened, the lights within blinding Crush for a moment. Voltage continued. "Come on, lets get out of here." Crush walked in and the door slammed shut behind her. The engines glowed a blueish color, and the ship roared off into space, leaving Skytown near instantly.

[Mariomasher]

[LGN's Group... I'm too lazy for names]
[Hell, prison camp]

MM was piloting one of tghe drills. He had a very basic map in the drill. The plan to free the prisoners had to be altered a bit for improvement. "LGN," MM said."We shouldcome in differently so they cant put all forces in one spot. Let us have a few drill come in from under as the others charge straight in." LGN nodded.

"Haylee and Luca, your drills will follow us," LGN commanded. "Rai, keep drilling here and keep the others in formation." The two drills departed to the underground while quite a few were left. The drills cut through the ground undetected. They then spurted from the ground in the middle of the base. The warriors ejected from the drill and caught the guards offguard(LOL). MM slashed a guard as another guard pressed the "ALERT!Base breached!" Button. more guards began pouring into the room with weapondry, but not strong weapondry. Most of the workers pertained to their jobs without even thinking a small amount of the breach.

"This is where the fun begins!" MM yelled. Other drills began blasting through the walls and the drill as well as debris crushed multiple guards. More SSS joined the fight. Necro shot an arrow into a guard as Haylee stabbed another. "LGN, now would be perfect to explain Operation Freedom Fighters." MM said as he struck down a worker.

[Rorschach]

[LGN's Group... I'm too lazy for names]
[Hell, prison camp]

As the drills continued on their missions, Sour stayed with his hood over his head, darkness covering his eyes, keeping his presence to a minimum. It was as if he was invisible during this massacre of guards. Sour walked over to LGN who was freeing the prisoners. He tapped him on the back and said "Long time no see." LGN couldnt tell who Sour was so Sour just began to say what he had to say.

"Ok I'll make this quick!" Sour shouted as the screams of the guards echoed throughout the room. "I need you to explain to me our plans and what the army is going to do!"

suddenly a guard charged at LGN but MM killed him just in time. LGN rushed the prisoners out of the cell and the duo began moving towards the next cell. LGN began explaining to Sour about splitting the army in half doing one objective and splitting one in half for the other objective.

"Is there a leader grouping with the army heading to the west?" Sour asked hesitantly.

LGN nodded his head as he stabbed a guard in the back with a knife found on the floor. the imprisoned warriors picked up whatever they could, punishing those who had tortured them.

{Reeka Laboratories, Hell}

“Why,” Falcon asked, “Do terrible things seem to happen to me when I’m with you?” The F Zero pilot dodged a crackling bolt of electricity and cart wheeled through the air, skidding along the ground as he landed.

Eiron returned fire at Krackorok with a bolt of lightning of his own, but the monstrosity simply absorbed the blast, easily manipulating the electrical current away from its weak points. “I think the more appropriate question,” Eiron yelled back to Falcon as he dodged a wave of jagged stone projectiles, “Is why do bad things happen to me when you’re around?”

“Nothing bad happens when I’m around, it just get really, really interesting.” The twisted monstrosity U. Reeka had unleashed upon them roared, and the floor beneath Falcon’s feet erupted upward, launching the Captain into the sky. That’s not good. he thought to himself right before slamming into the side of the deep crevasse. Tucking his body, he rolled along the wall and kicked off, launching him straight into the center of Krackorok’s cloudy mass. A flurry of kicks reduced the beast’s eye count down to five, and Falcon emerged from the swirling gasses as the creature screeched in pain, a triumphant grin plastered across his face. (As well as ocular fluid.) “Two points for me kid!” He taunted, wiping the slime off his face. “Twenty bucks says I pop another three before you even get one!”

Almost the instant those words escaped Falcon’s mouth; Eiron destroyed another two eyes by blasting the side of the canyon wall and puncturing the delicate orbs with debris. Falcon stared silently at their towering opponent for a moment as it recovered, howling in rage, and said “Damn. There goes my gas money.”

Krackorock, seethed, its cloudy body turning dark and thunderous. Long tendrils of electricity arced through its body, and the very ground beneath it began to tremble as its rage grew. “You can look embarrassed later,” Eiron said, readying himself for the creature’s next assault. “Let’s finish this thing off.” The beast’s remaining three eyes narrowed at these words, and the shaking intensified.

“Kid, what makes you think I’m even capable of being embarrassed?” The Captain replied, smiling as a wall of rock rose from the ground and hurled itself at them. With a heave, Falcon launched himself into the air and over the attack, flipping headlong towards his whispy adversary. Eiron simply teleported through the assault, repapering with a brilliant flash of light on the other side. Wise to their game, however, Krackorock had delivered a one-two combination attack, and both warriors ran head long into the blistering lightning blast following the wave of earth. Both were thrown back against the wall, and slowly slumped to the ground, twitching slightly. “Ok. That was kind of embarrassing.” Falcon groaned. Shakily, the two clambered to their feet, only to be launched into the air by the ground beneath them. Across the gap, their opponent let loose a fusillade of stony projectiles and lightning bolts, all of which came screaming up towards the airborne duo.

“Falcon!” Eiron roared, “Reach!” The summoner extended his hand, and Falcon twisted around to grab hold. With another flash of light, the two reappeared directly inside the turbulent body of their foe. Unable to see in the stormy vortex of angry wind, they flailed wildly as they began to plummet earthward, blindly striking out for Krackorock’s eyes. With two sickening crunches, each connected, and they landed beneath the enraged creature with a loud thud and a sickening squelch.

“One more, winner take all!” Falcon called, leaping to his feet and dodging a retaliatory lighting blast. Eiron magnetized both himself and the wall to his side, sliding across the floor and narrowly avoiding being swallowed up by the earth beneath him.

“Just don’t cry when you lose!” he called back, leaping to his feet and joining his companion. The two bounded over yet another wave of rocks, and this time Eiron deflected the accompanying lighting barrage that followed it, redirecting it at the wall next to Krackorock. Red hot stone shards cascaded around the beast, but the final eye escaped untouched. The monster paused in its assault, and narrowed its single eye in rage. Slowly, its swirling mass began to tremble, sending ripples through the air towards the two fighters. The ground shook violently, and it was all that they could do to not topple over. The dark clouds of Krackorock’s body began to glow a brilliant white, filling the abyss with light. A high pitched whine began to emanate from its center, and the shaking intensified, knocking Eiron and Falcon to the ground. “She’s gonna blow!” Eiron yelled over the roar of the wind and earthquake. Eiron tried to concentrate on teleporting the pair to safety, but the constant buffeting by the rocking ground prevented him from being able to focus on Falcon. The Captain however, well prepared by a lifetime of intense G forces, jostling, and all the pleasantries of the F Zero Grand Prix, sprung into action. As the continuous tremors knocked him into the air, he flipped himself around and vaulted off his hands towards Eiron. Timing the distance perfectly, he sailed over his companion right as he too was launched upwards. With a deft reach of the hand, Eiron was in his grasp, and as Krackorock exploded into a brilliant flare of light, the two disappeared into thin air.

[Reeka Laboratories: Snicket, Reeka, Kin, Geo, Snake, Eiron, Falcon, Zel, Cody, Link]

Just as a great explosion signified the destruction of Krackorock, yet another three SSS warriors entered the fray. Without mincing words, the Hero of Time went to assist Kin in his bout against Mr. Dragon Patch; Commander Cody joined Geo and Snake in combat with Aparidley; and General Zel himself came to Snicket's support. At this point, Professor U. Reeka was simply aghast to where all he could do was stare furiously as his plans were beginning to collapse around him. No one else paid him any heed at the moment, for the mad scientist was hardly a threat now.

Bob turned from comforting Piranha Gohma, startled by the self-destruction, to meet Zel approaching him. "Ah, General. Glad you could make it. How is the assault faring?"

"It seems to be going well, Snicket," Zel replied, eyeing Piranha Gohma's grotesque yellow eye warily. "The enemy has been engaged on all fronts, but we could use some more help out there."

"Right, then." Without displaying the slightest fear of the mutant creature beside him, the boy place a foot against the frontmost spider leg, then heaved himself up and onto the abdomen of the beast. Looking back down at Zel, he held out a hand. "While our friends here take care of these rather ferocious experiments gone wrong, let us deal with the dwarf man responsible for all of this, and then return to--"

[Outside Reeka Laboratories]

Taishi the black rogue Yoshi fluttered down before Fallen Angel Castle with his glorious wings, wielding a gallon or more of potential flames within his being. It had taken him forever to reach this place. He had been to almost every corner of the Smash Universe in search of a way here, Hell, where he could sense there would be another colored Smash Orb. Four such orbs had already been located: the Blue Orb, Red Orb, Yellow Orb, and Purple Orb, the latter two of which had been found by none other than himself. He wasn't sure why he had such a strange fascination with these glowing objects which only seemed to have the function of opening new floors of the SSS Headquarters. It was especially strange that he still searched for them considering the HQ had now been reduced to rubble, so theoretically they were of no further use. But then again, such instinct had also lead him to the Fountain of Dreams where he had rescued Bob Snicket from a plummet of certain death into dark, lethal clouds which disintegrate all that they touch. So he was force to accept the conclusion that there was some purpose to these orb quests he set out on. There was a method to this madness, even if he didn't have any idea what the said method was.

So after departing from Snicket and Friend of Mario (Yoshi) last time--over seven years ago now, in fact--he had followed events closely as the world fell to Crehavos's might. As much as anyone, Taishi despised this tyrant who had brought an end to the peaceful, joyful world which he had known and been a part of. During these years while awaiting the SSS's next move, which at times he wondered would never come, he had prepared himself for the impending battle against the Dark Lord's demons which would inevitably come, sooner or later. Now a master at the art of flight and spitting fire, he had made short work of those heretical monsters which dared stand in his way from reaching the next Orb. Indeed, he had burnt them to a crisp with the well-honed tongue of his fiery passion, to temperatures which even they, beings of fire and brimstone, could not stand. And now he was here.

And then he saw it. A bright green glitter came from the side of the rocky spire upon which Reeka's laboratory stood. Eyes alight, Taishi lifted off and glided eagerly toward his prize. His eyes glittered, but not with greed. No, they glittered with a burning desire to fulfill his quest, and what seemed also to be his duty and his destiny.

Paying no attention to the fact that the spire narrowed to a small point where the Green Orb lay embedded in the stone, Taishi let his tongue burst from his mouth and seek out the desired object. The sticky tip met with success, clinging with incredible suction power onto the glassy surface of the small orb, and then pulled hard, releasing it from its ashen prison.

Taishi held the Green Orb high with triumph, mirroring a dog chasing cars in that now that he reached his goal, he wasn't yet sure what to do with that achievement. Then he heard a great crack.

Looking back at the geologically precarious spire, he watched as the upper portion above the spot where the Green Orb had been began to tilt. The crack had been caused by the separation of the bridge which led to the laboratory from the top of the spire. And now the isolated rock formation was beginning to slant the other direction. Toward the Lava Lake.

Oops, Taishi thought. Well, there's probably no one important in there anyway. I'm sure I just did the SSS a great favor. Shrugging, he turned and flew away with his prize to rejoin the war.

The crack shook the entire laboratory, reaching the ears and nervous systems of those inside as well, including Snicket and Zel.

Snicket almost lost balance while atop Piranha Gohma as the floor below them began to tilt. "Hm," he mused, hand still extended to the general. "I suggest we get out of here as soon as possible. Let's go, Zel."

Piranha Gohma nodded, slavering profusely, his cyclopean eye fixed on his vulnerable creator.

Genesis was finally consious again in Skytown seeing himself surround by his Super Human allies.

"Mmm...Huh, wh...where am I?!" Genesis said as he woke up. Neni came up to him and said, "You're back in Skytown, so how was your nap?" Genesis looked behind him and saw a portal. "Where does this lead to?" Abdol explained, "Well according to what Eiron said, this portal leads directly to Hell." Reynal came up the portal and said, "Now our chance to take down Crehavos, and after he's dead we can leave these SSS people." Genesis then got up and looked around, "What happened to Voltage, and Crush....and Alica?" Jonas replied, "Well he and that little girl left, said that this was broing him now, but he did send you his regards." Genesis rolled his eyes. Abdol then told Genesis as he lifted his glasses,"Though Alica went through this portal." Genesis then looked at the portal again and wondered why Dark Genesis and Alica decided to go to Hell.

"What the hell made you think you can hide your little secret for long?" Reynal said with an evil smirk on his face. Genesis replied, "What are you talking about this no time for....." Reynal interrupted, "GAMES, Oh you shouldn't talk...your little game may have fooled the others, but I knew all along you were allies with the SSS." Genesis asked, "....How long have you known?" Reynal laughed and said, Its called research, me and Abdol looked into your files in the SSS computer and found out about your little defect oh man was I pissed when I found this out, and that darkness within you...!" Genesis had no choice but to silence his ally for good so he charged his left hand with a small blizzard-like power. "You're not thinking of stopping me with that ridiculous power of yours do you...you know Fire can beat Ice."
As Reynal charged his hands with raging fire, a blast of water came out of the portal and knocked Reynal back, and it was Oakley as she came out the portal. "O...Oakley, how...how could you??!" Reynal said as he held his chest. Oakley turned to Genesis and said, "Come on Genesis!!" Genesis turned his head away from Reynal and went inside the Portal along with Oakley. Reynal got up and yelled, "AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!"

Her eyes opened to see the nighttime sky. Rain feel upon her soft face as if the sky was crying it's eyes out. Alura picked her self up, wondering where she was and how she got her. The last thing she could remember was being a that dark, gloomy castle. She was held captive by evil, manipulative vampire queen with no where to escape. All she can remember was that bright light when her mom tried to rescue her. The memories of that moment eluded her. She was wet, afraid and lonely. She didn't no what to do or where to go. Her knees became weak at the though of the situation she was in and she feel to the ground, with her on tears she joined to sky in one deep cry, one that echoed the landscape around her.

Her face was so soaked with water that she could barely see. She glanced over at the ground in front of her and saw something. She couldn't see it very well but after see focused her eyes she saw it. It was a doll, some sort of teddy bear. She picked it up and looked at it carefully. It was a strange little stuffed animal indeed. The bear was half white and half black, not to mention that the bear was completely dry even though it was raining heavily. She held the doll close to her for comfort. "Perhaps I should find someplace dry" She said as she took a look around. She then noticed that there were several little stars on the ground around her. Little stars that gave off a brilliant shine to any who looked at it. As she picked them up she noticed that she was getting a strange feeling. It felt like she was getting stronger and lighter. When the last star was collected, all of the stars formed together to create on big star. The star flew into the sky above her and broke off into tiny rays of light that flew into several different directions. A tiny shard fell onto the ground in front of her. She picked it up, intrigued by this little gem. The gem disappeared into her hand and vanished.

"I wonder what that was" She said as she began walking down the narrow path. Lightning struck the sky with a huge zap and with it came a roar of thunder. Alura shrieked. Her walk quickly changed into a sprint down the narrow path that seemed to have no end. She came across a tiny little cave that seemed to be uninhabited by anyone. This was the only dry place she could find so she decided to stay her. She sat on the floor of the cave looking at the rain outside, tears still falling down her face. What was she to do? The place was unfamiliar to her and she had no way to go back home. She held on to her new teddy bear tightly.

Eiron and Falcon materialized beside Snicket and Zel as the ground beneath them trembled, looking severely disheveled. Eiron’s hair was windswept and frazzled, and Falcon’s helmet was slightly askew. One last parting gift from Krackorock. The Captain straightened his helmet, frowning slightly. “I thought you said we were done barely escaping massive explosions Eiron.” He glanced up at their companions and nodded in greeting. Another tremor passed under their feet, causing them to bob and weave precariously to keep their footing.

“Gentlemen,” Eiron said quietly, running his hand through his now unruly hair. “If you’re looking for a quick way out of here, I’m your guy.” Eiron glanced around, noting the greatly expanding number of heroes filling the chasm. “I don’t suppose anyone knows what Sovaherc is up too?”

The ground beneath them lurched horribly again, and the group fell to their knees. Petey Ghoma toppled against the wall of the deep crevasse and leaned heavily against it. “Whatever he’s doing, I’m sure he’s not about to drown in a giant lake of lava!” Falcon muttered angrily.

The final preperations for the assualt had been made. They had spent some time in preperation and were finally going to attack. They were just waiting for the portal.

"So ya ready then, Hina?" He asked her, without looking at her.

"Yes" She replied in a tired voice. She was getting slightly more used to the world that she was living in, but still had to get used to much of it.

"Look, I know your still trying to get used to things here, but you've gotta try to talk to people more! You won't learn much if you don't talk to people. Trust me. I know." He turned towards Cara and Adeleine. "Try talking to them, ya might learn something about this world."

"It is ready" Meta-Knight announced to the others.

"Took your time, we're already late as it is, since we're already late for this, since we had to use this ship and had to get a large enough portal." Diachi responded, mildly iritated by this.

The ship then took off through the portal, towards hell.

Cara had thought about the newcomer, whom they had only recently met at Skytown. She seemed normal but, she seem to be unfamiliar with the world around her. Also, she couldn't tell how, but something made her seem different. And not in the same way as the others around her. It seemed different from them. She stood out more easilly, and She felt that she needed to know to who she was.
