Chapter 2: Forces of Darkness

[SSS HQ]

"smashbro!" Alex called out his name as he worked his way up to the crowd of brawlers and forumers gathering in the HQ, "Hey man, umm.... I would really appreciate it if you could assign Alice and I to work between divisions."

smashbro replied, "That's okay, but, not to be rude, but why is it important?"

"Well, ya know, LGN's in there, and really, he's the only one I, what's the word..... know. At least here, the only guy I know. So I think that we should just have someone to watch our back."

smashbro stated "In that case, consider it done, you are now in between divisions."

"Thanks man, 'preciate it" Alex walked back to Alice in the crowd.

"So, Alex, are we in?" Alice asked

"Yep, now we're with LGN, most likely"

Alice kind of jumped up and smiled "Sounds good! When does the battle start anyway?"

"I don't know, but just, don't let me near any exhaust pipes"

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Geo, Kin]
[Fallen Angel Castle: Hallway]

Crehavos was fuming, he did not ever like being deceived. It made him feel like an imbecile. And it was obvious that the Hell Lord was angry. There was waves of lighting zapping around the room, chipping floors and walls. The room began to shake violently, and a misty red and black aura was forming around the Hell King. "You wretched children! How dare you make a fool out of me! I gave you a chance to fight fairly or sit in the room, but you disobeyed me. And now..."

Crehavos' eyes seemed to flash once with rage, and the energy level raised higher to frightening amounts. A horrid looking sword then materialized in Crehavos' hand; the sword black as the Hell Lord's heart. He held the sword in a graceful, yet powerful looking pose, and said with a hint of demonic-ness behind his voice, "You will know true fear..."

There was a enourmous burst of dark energy, and Crehavos disappeared and reappeared above Geo. With tremendous force, he brought his sword down that colided with Geo's hands who was attempting to block it. Geo fell back at the powerful attack, and Crehavos slashed him about 5 times across his chest, leaving him with large lines of deep, bleeding wounds.

Kin attempted to blast Crehavos away with a stream of Silver Magic, but Crehavos held his hand in front of it, and the attack halted in mid-air. On his command, the magic came rushing back to Kin and knocked him off his feet. Crehavos followed up with a shadowy giant claw appearing from the shadows itself. The claw then seperated into two, and both went after Geo and Kin respectively.

Geo, extremely wounded from Crehavos' earlier antics, could not move to get remotely away from the claw; which brought it's long fingers around Geo and slowly tightened it's grip; leaving only Geo's head out of the painful trap.

Kin, on the other hand, was managing to only barely outrun the claw that was after him; managing to hold it off with the Silver Magic. However, Crehavos then had Kin trapped to where he could no longer run. He used telekinesis to make Kin immobile, and the claw able to catch up and seize him.

"LET ME GO!" Kin screamed out, struggling to get free from the shadowy claw, his ribs slowly beginning to crack. Geo, however, was barely conscious, losing blood fast.

"Do you honestly believe I will ever release you after the stunt you pulled? You're deluted." Crehavos taunted. With a raise of his arm, the Hell Lord held his sword high, and it began glowing a blood red. "Let this be a reminder to make sure you never make a mockery of me again, but once your souls are mine, that won't be a problem now will it?"

Just as Crehavos was about to launch his furious attack, the door at the end of the hall was blasted open. A mysterious woman appeared, seeming to be here to save Kin and Geo.

Crehavos chuckled, and said, "My dear, if you are here to save these two, it is already too late. However, if you are determined to even though it is futile, by all means... come and try."

[Crehavos, Geo, Kin]
[Fallen Angel Castle: Hallway]

"come and try." Crehavos finished while still gripping Kin. Without saying a word, Rashi rushed in towards Crehavos. Crehavos smirked, and attempted to Sparta kick the woman out the door again. As Rashi rushed in, Crehavos delivered a powerful kick that was sure to hit. However, at the last moment, Rashi side stepped and punched Crehavos twice in the gut. Crehavos was pushed back some, but still held his firm grip om Kin. "Hmph, is that all?" Crehavos said mockingly.

Crehavos took a breath in, and prepared to use his Necry Roar. Rashi dissapeared. "Ha, you won't get me with that!" Crehavos laughed. He quickly spun around, where Rashi re-appeared. Their eyes met for a split second: Crehavos' powerful reversed black eyes, Rashi's piercing green eyes. Crehavos released his Necry Roar, which rang out at an unbearable tone. The next thing Crehavos knew, he had been struck in the back. Rashi had rolled between his legs before he released his attack. He released his grip on Kin, who fell to the ground. Crehavos stumbled foward a bit.

"Lets go!" Rashi shouted towards Kin, who rushed towards Geo to pick him up. Kin rushed towards the door. Rashi grabbed Geo and ran towards the door as well.

"ENOUGH!!!" Crehavos shouted as a shaodw hand appeared out of nowhere and grabbed the three warriors, trapping them all.

MM:L.O.G. was trying to be nice to use a merciful way of settling this. Lay your dirty claws on me one more time and ill have to use this.

MM held out his small stone.

MM:But i guess this barely intimidates you...this is not my titan form of which you have seen. It is simply something harder to kill.

MM transformed into VMM again.

VMM:Now, bring pain or get pain!

Luca: Gadd, in case of a major emergency, as if someone had slipped between my or The knight's hands...Use this.

Luca handed a metal sphere to Prof. Gadd. It was glittering in the minimal light coming through the dark clouds hovering above them. There was a light on the sphere.

Prof. E. Gadd:Ah, is one of my distant inventions,yes? It was...erm...what was it....hm...

Luca:It is the teleporter. It is the one you invented to transport a single person to the controller. I'll just run through the instructions one time to refresh your memory. Press the button on top and it will activate the device i have strapped to my back, sending me straight to you. The knight has received one as well but i am leaving it up to him if he prefers to wear it. It'd probably be best if he didnt because we dont want to lower our front defence.

Prof. E. Gadd:Ah, yes, yes, very good. Let us begin shall we?

smashbro then turned back to Sour, who seemed to be harboring an injury.
"You alright?"

[Naked Snake II]

[Geo, Kin, Crehavos, Raishi]

The rage of the Hell Lord grew as the interrupting Raishi appeared out of no-where. Crehavos's shadow hand technique trapping all with a bone-crushing grip.

CREHAVOS: You all shall PERISH!!!!

GEO: You....forgot....one thing.....Cre..havos.

Angered and stubborned, Crehavos quickly drew his attention of the Holy warrior. He walks up to him and punches his face with his free hand. Geo's head whiplashed from the impact.

CREHAVOS: And what might that be???

Suddenly the room began to shake viciously..Dust appeared between cracks of the floor and walls. Geo quickly stared at Crehavos, his eyes turned all black, his pupils into a crimson red. Iris shrinked into slits like a cats eyes. His voice cracked into a deeper, demonic tone.

GEO: I am a Devensian!!!!

He ripped through the grip of the shadow hand as he began to transform into his Devensian state. Suddenly the cuts and damage done by Crehavos healed quickly.

KIN: Yeah Geo. Get him!!!

RAISHI: Whoa!!! Transformation.

GEO: Let's do this Crehavos!!!!

CREHAVOS: So..this is how it is?!?! Fine......

Crehavos began to charge at the Devensian.

CREHAVOS: HAVE IT YOUR WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Cell]

(OOC: A reminder I would like to pass by you, Geo, and I guess all people. Crehavos is not a loud, yelling, jerkish sort of figure. He doesn't SCREAM at the top of his lungs unless he has been angered beyond all belief. All he does is yell a bit if moderatly angered. Furthermore, he has a very dignified manner, and thus speaks with the utmost politeness or uses "big", interesting words. So what I'm asking is to please portray Crehavos the way I do. Thank you.)

[Fallen Angel Castle]

With the transformation of Geo, Crehavos thought it was time to raise his power yet again. The whispy aura around Crehavos grew larger and more violent still, and the Hell Lord charged at the newly transformed Geo. "No more games, Geo! It is time I teach you proper respect, you defiant whelp!" Crehavos cried.

"Ah shuddup!" Geo said who went to go take a swing at Crehavos' jaw, but missed as the Hell Lord suddenly vanished. Geo looked around, expecting to see Crehavos coming to strike him down, but he didn't expect him to be in the air with his hand pointed at the ground.

"Darkness Rain..." Crehavos said, his voiced echoing throughout the large hall.

Crehavos' hand then caught purple fire, and hundreds of thousands of little dark energy spears began shooting down across the room, heading right for their target. Geo was then forced to dodge these little bullets, some of them grazing his skin and clothes; leaving horrible burning, acid-like effects.

The rain was beginning to overwhelm the Devensian, continously gaining more and more burn marks all over his body. Finally, Geo broke free, charred by the horrid attack of Crehavos'. He himself vanished, and appeared behind the Hell King, slamming a foot into the side of his head, and a loud SNAP was heard.

Crehavos was frozen for a moment, the his head cocked to the side from the blow to the head. However, he began cracking his neck, straightening out the damage done. Still hovering there for a few moments, Crehavos had his back on Geo while the Devensian watched... waiting...

And suddenly, the Hell Lord whipped around like lightning, grabbed Geo by his torso, and flew like a rocket at the wall. There was a thunderous shudder, and all the pane glass windows in the hall shattered. Geo was trapped under Crehavos' forceful hand, all his ribs broken from the impact. Geo was flinching from the cracked ribs and he coughed up a bit of blood. And to think he would do no more, Crehavos pointed his sword at Geo's stomach, and plunged it all the way through.

There was a loud scream from Geo's end, but there was nothing he could do about it, but glare into Crehavos' reversed black eyes with hatred and rage. The Hell Lord then brought his mouth to Geo's ear, and whispered soft, but chilling, cruel words into it.

"I'm going to kill you, Geo... I want to see you suffer and writhe in horrid agony... drowning in a pool of your own blood... cold, dead eyes glazed over and staring at me like an empty abyss... You... Kin... and Dobs... will all be murdered under the fiery skies of Hell tonight... and I will enjoy every moment... that my blade pierces your beating heart."

[ManOfSteele]

[VMM, Steele]

Steele's sword still charged at VMM on the ground. VMM quickly sidestepped, avoiding the sword as it crashed into the Earth. "Ha, missed!" VMM shouted. Steele fell to the ground as well and picked up his sword.

"Grah" Steele grunted. "I'll promise you this: the next time I do that it won't miss. And you will go down."

"Yeah, and why?" VMM shouted.

Steele sensed anger in his voice. He would have to go out of his normality and push VMM. "Cause you're a looser" Steele said calmly. It pained him a little to insult such a worthy adversiary.

"...What?" VMM said blankly. "Seriously? Cause I'm not a good fighter"

"Well, yeah obliviously. And more than that too," Steele said. "Look at you. You're a freak, you have only one NORMAL eye, and you're a vampire. No wonder you're all out here alone, without your comrades. Infact, if it wern't for your big fancy ship, the SSS wouldn't even need you.. HA" Suddently, MM appeared behind Steele and kicked him in the small of his back. Steele tried to bend over in pain, but VMM kicked his left ribcage, hurling him over to the right.

Steele stood up smirking and wiped the blood comming out of his mouth. VMM charged at Steele with great speed. Steele ducked and quicly and shouted. "Sacred sword blah blah FIVE!!" He chucked his sword aiming right at MM. VMM unaware of this attack, began to jump.

THLUNK! Steele's sword struck VMM's upper left leg. The sword's handle was still sticking out of his leg; the blade had not gone all the way through. "GRAAAHHH!!!" VMM shouted in pain, before he could do anything else, Steele ran up and DROP KICKED the rest of his sword through VMM's leg. There was a giant hole in his upper left leg. "GRAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!" VMM shouted.

[Naked Snake II]

[Geo, Kin, Raishi, Crehavos]
[Fallen Angel Castle]

GEO: ...*snickers* well Crehavos....we can't all get..... what we.... want.

Geo quickly grabs Crehavos's face in a tight grip, charges up an energy ball and blasts it point blank to his face losening his sword on Geo and launching him back. Geo gets up slowly as the blade was still intacted to his torso and yanks it out as blood poured all over. He threw the black sword so fast towards a wall, it pierced the wall.
Frustrated now as his body began it's quick regeneration, his martial arts top kept on getting in the way. He rips the red ripped shirt just looking at it. He slowly looks towards where Crehavos was standing up. Stilll shaken a little by the impact his face felt.

GEO: Just you and me now Crehavos..No weapons..

This angered the Lord of Hell. He began to charge at the Holy Warrior calmly, but ragely at the same time. He cocked his hands to his side as two black and purple balls appeared spiraling in quick rotations. He threw one of the dark balls at Geo, but was countered by a quick burst of red energy from Geo. He throws the other one directly hitting Geo in the chest. Geo quickly spun around and shot Crehavos with crimson energy balls blasting him all over. Crehavos angered quickly tried to look for Geo, but disapeared somehow.

GEO: *whistles*...Behind you.

Crehavos, shocked looked around quickly to see Geo uppercut him in the air, and quickly flying side kick him even higher.

GEO: Kokino Vrohei!!!

Geo launches a big red energy ball in the air missing Crehavos intentionally. The ball stops..

GEO: NOW!!!!

The red ball began to produce little red dots..Suddenly the dots came crashing down like a rain of red raining on Crehavos. The rain made little holes in Crehavos's attire. Crehavos was in pain, althought he did not yell, Geo knew he was in agony. As Crehavos came down back first (so he's looking at the ceiling), Geo appeared right in his face startling Crehavos. Geo cocked back his left arm, made a fist and directed the massive punch towards Crehavos's stomach. However, Crehavos quickly teleported in time as the punch missed him. In impact of the punch caused wind ripples all around even though it hit nothing but air.
The Hell Lord appeared behind Geo and quickly began to attack with an elbow to the back of Geo's spine sending Geo crashing down through a level of the castle. He quickly gets up and sees Crehavos coming at him. He prarrys to the side making Crehavos crash down another level. Frustrated by the miss he looks up to see a boot land on his face. Crehavos did not move, Geo quickly did a backflip in the air and dropkicked Crehavos while in the air. The impact of the drop kick sent him crashing through a few rooms and walls until he was finally stopped as he was beginning to skid on the floor.

GEO: Had enough?

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Geo, Kin, Rashi]
[Fallen Angel Castle]

Crehavos chuckled, brushing off the dust from his robes. The Hell Lord spoke to him, his eyes closed and a malevolent smile on his face, "Very good, Geo. However..." He did a sort of wave guesture with his hand, and his body seemed to mend itself; his clothes even knitting back together. "You can not win. There is one factor you seem to not realize... I know the one true weakness that you possess that you can't overcome. The woman that is so dearly close to your heart."

Geo's face went from a smug smile to wide eyed, shocked, and horrified. "You wouldn't... you wouldn't dare harm her!" Geo said, voice slightly shaking.

Crehavos had finally found a soft spot. "Oh yes..." Crehavos said, sneering darkly. "If you do not consent defeat, I will personally see to it that your little beloved is... er.... dealt with."

Geo couldn't help, but consider this... This may be one of the hardest decisions to make of his life...

[Sephiroth, Ganondorf, Snicket, Ucria, everyone else]
[Dark Pyramid]

Ganondorf and Sephiroth both eyed the Great Fox with caution. They had to act quickly, or they would all get away with the stone and they would have failed their Master.

"You will not get away... Not as long as you are in my presense." Ganondorf said. The Gerudo held up his shining blade with authority, and suddenly stabbed it into the ground. The sword then began glowing brightly, and the ground beneath it began emitting beams of that same light. The light then spread into the ground, and slowly turned into darkness. It was spreading, and all the people in the room gasped and moved away from it.

"This world is now beginning to self-destruct. Since I created it, I may make it perish. Myself and Sephiroth may be able to get away, but all of you will die along with this realm." Ganondorf said darkly, and then began laughing almost psychotically.

"What?!" the group all yelled out.

"You have 2 minutes until this world is destroyed. Farewell..." Ganondorf said, still chuckling. He yanked his sword out of the ground, and the darkness began to spread at a faster rate. He and Sephiroth then both opened portals of darkness, and stepped through.

"WAIT!" Snicket cried out, running towards the open portals. However, they closed right before he was able to touch them. He then fell to the ground, distraught. Snicket banged his fists on the ground in frustration, but he felt a tug on his arm.

Ucria, with an urgent look on her face, said "Quickly. We must hurry to the ship, I can guide us out of this realm." Snicket just stared for a second, not positive if he could trust her. However, after a moment, he nodded in agreement. What did he have to lose?

[ManOfSteele]

[Rashi, Crehavos, Geo, Kin]

Rashi squirmed within her shadow hand imprisionment, trying to find a way to get out. She could do nothing, but still she could. She focused on her inner self, and began to change forms. Her hair grew short, and turning into a scarlet red color. Her clothes and eyes shifted as well. In a few moments, she was in copy mode.

Kin looked at her when she was done, he was engaged in watching the battle to notice her changing. "Wait...who are you? Weren't you just green a second ago?" He said

"Yeah" Rashi replied. "But nevermind that, you got any ideas to get us out?"

[VMM, Steele]
Dark Woods

Since the race was stopped, VMM and Steele reverted back to Darkwood forest. VMM knelt down on his knees and held out his stone.

VMM:You shall pay for all you have done... Ik roep de machtige Draak van Ijs bijeen!


The stone then glew with the intensity of the Sun. A rough wind picked up. Trees began thrashing about. There was a great flash as steele was blown back by the gust of wind. When Steele looked back to see what had had happened, he saw a man on a great beast.

Steele:What the hell?

VMM:Gaze in awe at my friend here, Draak. I've had him for a while now and its time you feel pain. Ik zal u door uw eigen kleren hangen en zal u aan een boom binden. U slikt uit uitgehold en spuitend op de vloer. De lidmaten overal op het slagveld bedierven met uw bloed. Uw lijk dat… in haat brandt!!
((I will hang you by your own clothes and bind you to a tree. You stomach gouged out and spewing on the floor. Limbs everywhere on the battlefield tainted with your blood. Your corpse...Burning in hatred!!))

Draak then skydived at steele grasping him.

VMM:Too much for you?

Steele:no....

VMM:I might have spared you if you said yes! Draak! Werp hem aan de grond en verpletter hem!

Draak threw Steele down and stepped on him, crushing steele beneath his weight. VMM smirked.

VMM:Come on steele, your making this too easy! At least try!

Steele:Want me to try?

Steele Jumped up and tried to slash at MM. VMM gasped and quickly spoke in Dutch.

VMM: Draak, Blok van de linkerzijde!

Draak raised his left wing and blocked the attack.

Steele: Damn, that dragon is getting in the way. I'll have to take him out first.

VMM: Draak, Bevries de grond!

Draak then breathed an ice blast striking the ground, freezing it.

VMM: try jumping now.

Steele jumped up and was blocked again by the dragon, but scratched the dragons thick skin.

VMM:Draak! You'll get more pain for every scratch you lay on him! Raap hem op en steek hem met uw klauwen neer!

Draak picked Steele up and pierced his stomach with his claw.

Steele:ARGH!!!

Steele fell to the ground clutching his deep wound.

Steele:You'll pay for that...

Steele then threw his sword into the dragons neck. Draak screeched and began breathing ice wildly. He eventually hit himself and fell to the ground. Once he reached the ground he returned to its stone form. VMM fell to the ground as well. Steele then rushed at him.

[Rorschach]

Sour was sitting still worried about his injury until he saw a shadow...It was smashbro standing over him.

Sour looked at him holding his shoulder.

Sour: Smashbro, I dont know what to do, I thought I would be a little strong but I got absolutely destroyed by Zero.

Smashbro was about ot say something but Sour continued speaking.

Sour: If it wasnt for you coming in then I wouldve gotten knocked out or even killed. I dont even know what Im doing here.

Sour got up and turned around until he felt a hand touch his shoulder. He turned around to see that it was smashbros hand.

Smashbro nodded at Sour and Sour then turned around and walked away. Sour then went to bed. He had the same dream btu something was different. He saw Smashbro fighting with Valentine, he saw the mario bros fighting the bandit also and He even saw Zero pitch in.

Sour then Woke up and looked at his note. It said:

"Teamwork"

Sour then walked back into the main room and went up to Smashbro

Sour: Im in ,what do you need me to do

[smashbro]

smashbro was talking to Pit when Sour came up to him. he said goodbye to Pit, and then turned back to Sour.
"Glad to hear it," smashbro replied. He smiled.

[flashback]
{at robotics}
"You seem to never be smiling K..(loud crash, something fell)," said T. smashbro just shrugged.

{At school cafeteria}
You should smile more, it would make your face look less pudgy and more normal," said one of smashbro's...friends.

{home}
"and you never smile..." his mom was saying to him. smashbro continued to frown.

smashbro:oh, and what you said about you and him being creepers and that whole post...well i only feel its awkward around you cause you make a big deal of it. hugging people (well, girls) isn't a big deal for me, just with you guys cause you make a big deal of that stuff cause i dont act a certain way around you like you and Josh act and thats the only reason why its a big deal and why im all like i am and i just realized this is a huge long run-on sentence and it took a whole 3:25 minute song to type this but that was kinda cuase my parents were in the room for a little while and i couldnt let them see and now this last half of the last sentence was off topic about the off topic topic.
M:we make a big deal cuz we are so happy and you always look so upset, so try being happy. and if hugging girls isn't a big deal, try not standing rigid as a 2X4 while they hug you? just a thought

SAINT: Relax Nightmare..It's Dagalein, the Demon of Shadow's End. I take it you got orders to destroy the HQ?

DAGALEIN: More specific orders than that I'm afraid...I got to search and destroy Jukan, Misami, and Meta-Knight.

KAROCKA: Why don't you join us as well Dagalein...In the cross fire, your more likey going to meet them on the battle field as well.
