Chapter 2: Forces of Darkness

"Everyone! Listen up!" smashbro said to everyone there. Zero had left to talk to Geno, and geno was obviously injuried. "My name is...well, you can call me smashbro. I'm not sure if you're aware of it, this is the SSS HQ. The Super Smash Saviours, named by the late MVPguy, protects the citizens of all the worlds, and helps to combat evil. Most of the members, actually, all of the members but me, are currently on other missions, which i wish i was part of. But this is the way it was meant to be. We are apparently about to be attacked, and I can't do it alone. I know that you are not members, but please, if you could, join me in protecting this place. Even if none of you help, I will fight anyways, to the death. But if you have any fighting skills I ask you to help, and will be greatful. I know I am not the best speaker, but that is really all I have to say, aside from that the fate of many worlds may depend on this. So, will any of you join me?" smashbro took a deep breath, hoping he covered it all. He was sure he didn't but this wouldn't be the first time he would try something alone.

[flashback]
"So...will you go to prom with us?" Sarah and her friend asked smashbro. smashbro knew that they didn't really want ot go out with him, but were just making a big deal of it. Still, he kind of wished he was asking Sarah, but he had heard multiple times that she didn't like him. Ah well, he was kinda over her anyway. And he heard that someone he knew well liked her. Jerk. But smashbro hated this game of liking people, partially cause he wasn't good at it. And he felt he waited too long.
"You can be our pimp!" the other girl said. It was a joke, cause he mostly hung out with girls...cause most of the guys he knew were jerks...who joked too much...and hit.
"Don't say that..." smashbro said, in a sigh like voice. "but sure."
"yay!" they both said. "Now, are you going to buy our tickets?" the other girl asked.
"What?"
"Just kidding, you don't have to," the girl replied.

{a week later}
"I'm sorry, K..."
"hey, what's up?" somebody said, over the name.
"But I still don't know if I can go, and I don't know about Sarah either," the girl said. "My dad is being stupid, and Sarah didn't bring in her money, and she soesn't know if she's still grounded. I'm sorry, will you be ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," smashbro replied.
"Are you sure?" the girl asked.
"Yeah. <she just kept looking at him> yeah, I'll be fine," he said more forcefully.
"And I feel so bad cause I made you go and we might not even be there," she said to Ben (previous member, bc1034 or some crap like that).
"I'm just going for the food," he replied.
"Make sure you hang out with him, ok? You don't have to dance with each other but..." the girl said.
"Him?!?" both smashbro and Ben replied.
"Yeah, sure I will," smashbro said. f*ck i hope he doesn't expect to hang out with me all night. I guess I could hang out with S, but she likes Peter anyways...She's still my friend though, we're close...
"You sure you're ok?" the girl asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine."

{5 minutes later}
smashbro walked down the hall, feeling like he wanted to freakin kick the freakin wall. he was kinda pissed.

Zero: So thats what this is all about?

Zero looked at Smashbro.

Zero: Yo Smashbro in case you haven't heard the news let me spell it out for you. Nightmare and Saint Will arrive to Atteack HQ in one Day. As for your little SSS stuff count me in. And with that i shall retire to the training room. After all SOMEONE has to beat NM and Saint AH HA HAH AH AH HAAAA!!!

Zero quickly retired to the Training room running into Rev along the way. He turned to Rev and spoke.

Zero: Hey Science Freak.... If you want to finish our little sparring match...... meet me in the training room in 30 mins. Got it?

Zero left for the training room. Within minutes he arrived at the doors to the training room. Inside there was a bunch of wide open space for training. Zero did notice a device meant to increase the gravitational pull. Zero used the device to turn the gravity to X5. Zero was pulled to the ground as he struggled to adapt. Zero quickly started to adapt as he begun his training. He knew he didnt have long before Rev Showed up.

Zero: AH HA HA HA HA!! What a work out...

[Kitt eh]

Lynx had sort of dozed off until he heard the guy named Smashbro start to talk. He listened tilting his head, slightly, white hair falling in his face again. His eyes in the direction where Smashbro stood.

Lynx leaned against the wall, and sighed.

What do you think, Akki? Should I help them out or what? Lynx asked the cat demon spirit. Well... I guess it would hurt, and you probably could help quite a bit, but... Akki trailed off. What? Lynx said curious. It would be like you to actualy help out, but if it has anything to do with everything that is going on you might as well. Akki finished. Good enough for me. Lynx said.

Lynx watched Zero yap on, and go. He just shook his head out of annoyance, and looked back at Smashbro. Lynx did a sort of salute thing, even know it look kind of dumb. "I guess I could help..." Lynx said in a bored tone. "As long as jerk off doesn't get on my nerves I'll be fine." Lynx said refering to Zero.

Akki snickered, Where do you come up with all these names. Lynx chuckled himself. I have no idea.

[The King Of Darkness]

He floated up in the air and threw some punches and kicks. He started doing excersises like push ups at X5 gravity. He gradually became stronger and gradually began to move around much easier at X5 Gravity. The whole time he was training he only saw one thing in his mind... and that was when his family was murdered thanks to Nightmare. This made him push himself even harder as he vowed to have his revenge.

Zero: (Nightmare i vow on my life you will pay for what youve done!)

Zero all the sudden had an idea. Zero telepatically sent a message that Lynx Heard in his mind.

Zero: Lynx can you hear me?

Lynx Looked around.

Zero: It's me Zero. Listen i want you to come to The Training Room and spar with me immediatly. Got it? The more training i can get done the better off we will be against Nightmare and Saint. Now hurry up. I'm waiting.

Zero continued his rough training at X5 gravity. Zero now had a smirk on his face.

Zero: Heh that should prove for a little fun training. AH HA HA! Nightmare and Saint dont know what they're walking into!!!

Rev pushed him out of his way once he bumped into me, He squinted at Zero and firmly said "Watch were your going." Rev then walked away crossing his arms while sinking beneath the floor away from everyone, waiting.

[Jukan]

Kanju

Kanju took a deep breath and stayed silent for a moment. as they approached the gate he held out his hand towards the gate as it opens up. ”You want to know why I fight? you will have to find that out yourself…..if “HE” is where were headed, just sit back, and watch or do your job…..you will learn right then and there if it comes to that….” Kanju explained coldly. he walked on ahead, still keeping his guard up. Kanju never was one to trust anyone, even before his possession.

As the gates opened, a bright light shined in as they began to emerge. A long walk would await the two before arriving at the SSS HQ, and Smashbro. ”Big Boss…..i want you to tell me all you know about this…. “Smashbro” guy…. Crehavos didn’t tell me anything bout our mission before he sent me in your direction…..” Kanju asked. He decided since a walk was imminent, he may as well strike up some conversation to pass the time. he knew things would get boring quickly if he didn’t.

Misami, Jukan, Meta Knight

Misami followed him all the way to where he began to make his announcement, she understood the very little of what he was talking about. She listened as she began to talk about the history of the SSS and about the other members being on missions. Misami looked around, she noticed a small group of people among them, and continued to stand behind Smashbro. They would defiantly see Misami, and not know who she was. What seemed to be an insignificant child, was actually someone who helped to save smashbro from being harmed.

Jukan walks in during the announcement. he takes his usual spot in the back of the lobby. along with him is the one of unknown alliance, Meta Knight. ”Do you think we can match Nightmare and these other forces Zero?” Jukan spoke up. Meta knight stood there silently. Jukan stood up while he listened to Zero and his eyes grew serous. ”There are people headed this way….who they ar I am not sure of, by my friend here is positive one is my old friend Kanju…..we better be on guard, that’s all I am sure of” Jukan spoke up as he approached the group of SSS members, and pending members. his sword pulses, and Jukan simply places his hand on the hilt of the blade.

Meta knight walked forward staying right beside Jukan. ”Jukan, the question is are you ready? all our trai….” Jukan interrupts him before he could finish. ”You helped me unlock many techniques I never thought I could ever obtain……and Usamane here is sure that he is on his way here….i don’t know what there mission may be, but one thing is for sure a fight between him and I is sure to come…..” Jukan explains. Meta Knight looks down and sighs a sigh of relief, convinced by Jukan’s confidence. ”Then I shall keep my end of the deal, I shall join you guys, but shall not interfere with personal conflicts…..you have taught me a lot through our training as well….” Jukan looked over at Smashbro and saw a small child behind him, it was the first time he had ever seen someone so young among the SSS. Jukan didn’t bother to make any sort of move. he decided to continue to listen, and wait as the others talked and prepared for the battles to come.

Wind flurried through two open windows which looked down upon the dark land far below. The Room of Rites was enveloped in shadows; the only light glowed from two imposing torches on either side of the red alter which occupied the center of the chamber. Around the windows and along the walls were intricately carved designs, swirling and blossoming into bleak flower-like patterns. And standing behind the alter, facing away from them, was a red-cloaked and hooded figure, not flinching at their entrance.

Snicket, Veronica, Zel, and the others stopped before the alter, tensed, their breath held.

Agahnim slowly turned around. The shadows of the torches flickered across his unnatural pale blue face, the red cloth of his robe covering up to his mouth. He was a bulky figure, the eye imprint on the front of his robes very large and penetrating, his big blue hands and arms with almost claw-like fingernails. Eyes fixed on them incomprehensibly, he placed the object held in his hands onto the alter, which then levitated slowly into the air. The Niluck Stone's effulgence was muffled by the confines of a rotating blue diamond encasing it.

A deep, throaty, yet somehow also mystical and silky voice. "My master said you would come."

Agahnim drew from the fold of his robe an ornate staff of rusty gold with a huge crystalline sapphire held in at the top with three ornate prongs, using both hands. "But you were foolish to follow, nonetheless. I shall not give up your precious Niluck Stone lightly."

Snicket stared at Agahnim's eyes as he drew out his own weapon.

They were bright orange.

[Dark Pyramid]

As the doors opened with creaks of rusty hinges, the slender beauty's breath was held; just like all those who stood before the grand door itself. As soon as they opened, an ominous and cold feeling crept across her. Deep in the shadows of the room, she saw a mysterious figure clothed in a deep, ruby red cloak. An eye was imprinted upon it, and the man's skin was a light, almost frozen looking blue.

As the others entered, the Snicket boy leading the crowd, Ucria decided that it was near time to enter the group against this fiend. She apparated out of the wall from where she was hiding. The beauty held out her hand, and a long, golden staff with a saphire orb placed at the top appeared. There were ancient texts ingraved in the rod, words originating from her Lovilian heritage. With a flip of her hair, Ucria walked forth; ready for combat.

[Ganondorf, Sephiroth]
[Dark Pyramid]

After a long and dreadfully dull hike, Ganondorf and Sephiroth finally reached the Dark Pyramid. Sephiroth silently walked ahead, while Ganondorf stayed back and continued to grumble from the walk. The Gerudo King then abruptly remembered something about this world.

"Sephiroth, I forgot to mention that my henchman, Agahnim, is the one who runs this world. He's also the one who took the Niluck Stone from the SSS HQ under my instruction. Bob Snicket's group is probably heading to fight him as we speak." The Evil King said with his raspy voice.

The angelic villain didn't find this the least bit surprising. He merely grunted, and walked on. This irritated Ganondorf tremendously. How dare this warrior treat his well accomplished achievment as though it was nothing! Ganondorf had a strong urge to shout at the ex-SOILDER 1st class, but held his tongue bitterly.

Sephiroth then spoke, "We will attack once Agahnim is successfully in combat with the rest of the SSS warriors. We shall only enter... if he needs our assistance. Is that alright with you, Ganondorf?"

Ganondorf was slightly shocked at actually getting an opinion on the matter, and he agreed with the plan. "Very well. Agahnim is a well accomplished sorcerer, but he may need our help after all."

"Right... Remember the mission: stop at nothing to prevent them from taking the stone. Kill if necessary." Sephiroth replyed. Ganondorf nodded curtly, and on they walked through the pyramid. Swaying through every other corridor to find their way through.

[Naked Snake II]

[Dagalein]
He appeared back in the throne room where Crehavos was bored.

CREHAVOS: What is it?

DAGALEIN: I believe it's about time I put my new powers in use Cheif. How about a mission?

CREHAVOS: A mission already?? Are you su-

DAGALEIN: Yes yes. Sign me up for a mission..It better be a mission worth my time too so don't expect me to be some sort of delivery boy Crehavos.

[Saint, Nightmare]
[DK Jungle]

The two began to leap around in the trees hoping to find a way out of the DK Jungle..It seems even though they were in the trees, a maze it still was. Saint warned the belligerent Nightmare not to be anything stupid or hasty to reveal themselves to the enemy.

SAINT: This is taking forever.

NM: I'm telling you Saint, we gotta blast a wall down.

SAINT: NO BLASTING!!!!!

[ManOfSteele]

[Steele, Dagalein, Crehavos]
[Fallen Angel Castle, Throne Room]

Steele walked into the throne room, when Dagalein said "Sign me up for a mission..It better be a mission worth my time too so don't expect me to be some sort of delivery boy Crehavos."

Steele shoutted from the back of the room "Yeah, same here" Crehavos and Dagalein turned and looked at Steele. "Pretty much what Dagalein just said. I want a mission too. And a good one." Steele walked foward and next to Dagalein.

"Umm, yeah, I want to go solo for this mission" Dagalein said. "I don't want some looser messing me up"

"Well this looser convinced you to come here" Steele replied.

"Enough" Crehavos said. "I would prefer that both of you go on a mission. Just in case for some unfathomable reason something should happen." Steele and Dagalein exchanged looks. "Now, for the task..."

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Dagalein, Steele]
[Fallen Angel Castle: Throne Room]

"But I told you, I wanna go on a mission ALONE!" Dagalein barked at Crehavos. "I do not need others slowing me down!"

"Yeah, and I haven't gotten a chance to go on one alone either. Please Crehavos?" Steele asked.

"Alright, alright! You two can go on your own individual missions. Nevertheless, they are the same mission type: search and destroy." Crehavos held out a hand, and a young boy appeared as a hologram. "Steele, you will find a destroy the one called Mariomasher. Find him, and show no mercy."

Steele bowed and said, "Yes, thank you, my lord." With that, he disappeared on to his mission.

Crehavos turned towards Dagalein. "Now you shall get the same mission, but with a slight twist." Now the boy had turned into 3 swordsman; two looking to be of Japanese origins, and one ball like entity with a cape, mask and a golden sword. "You will find and destroy Misami, Jukan, and Meta Knight. However, one of these warriors is one Kanju seeks. I will leave you to find out which one, and bring him back to me." Dagalein growled at having to bring anyone back, and Crehavos said to him, "I know you don't want to, but it is essential. Do not argue. Now off with you." The Hell Lord pointed towards the door, and Dagalein left grumbling under his breath.

Once the two were gone, Crehavos withdrew the orb from his pocket. He gasped at what he saw. The Orb seemed to be sensing the power it would soon receive, it's appearance suggesting that.

It glowed a faint violet.

Steele warped to the outside of the SSS HQ

Steele:(thinking)Ok, MM should be here. Or at least be heading here. This is a step in the right direction.

Steele peered inside the building, looking at the people inside.

Steele:(thinking)I don't know any of these people, so this shouldn't be that tough. I'll still keep a low profile.

He put on a hood and made the symbol on his hand disappear. He walked into the building, and started walking around. Looking for any sign of MM, or someone who would know where MM would be.

He walked down hallway after hallway. It was pretty empty since most of the members were out on missions. He entered a room in a hallway where something didn't seem right. He saw a man running around, punching and kicking. Steele didn't know what felt wrong in the room, something just felt off.

Steele: Umm... excuse me!

Zero turned and faced him

Zero: Ah, so you've finally.... Wait.. you're not Rev...

Steele:Yes, I was wondering where--
He was cut off

Zero: I'm in the middle of something right now, and unless you're here to spar, leave.

Steele:Ok then, I could use a match right about now.

[The King Of Darkness]

Even though Zero was awaiting the arrival of Lynx, Zero stood and laughed.

Zero: HA HA HA You fight me? Ha fine its your funeral.

Zero walked over to the device that increased the pull of gravity from x50 down to x1. Zero felt so light. Zero EXPLODED with energy as a golden aura surrounded him. His aura was so strong Steele was blown right back out the door. Zeros hair turned spikey and golden. He now was in his super form. Zero warped so fast that in less then a second Zero managed to warp behind Steele and punch him right back into the room. Zero walked in and the door shut itself.

Zero: Ha you have no clue what your getting your self into Boy! I'll give you one last chance to run because ill warn you... I dont play nice!

Zero seemed very confindent in his abilities as he looked at Steele. Steele didn't appear to be running scared. Zero laughed.

Zero: Not runing eh? Well then its time i showed you my power!

Zero moved at the speed of light in circles around Steele. Zero delivered several hard punches so fast Steele couldnt even see him. Steele took rapid punch after punch not knowing where Zero would strike next. Zero warped in and kicked Steele in the face sending him backwards. As Steele flew backwards Zero charged up a small ball of energy and fired it at Steele. It hit and went off like a bomb.

Zero: GALACTIC GRENADE!!!

The blast cause a massive explosion.

[SSS HQ Training Room]
[Steele, Zero]

The dust cleared from Zero's attack. Steele stood up from the explosion

Steele: Geez.... No control....

Zero frowned and dashed towards Steele, aiming to punch him. Steele grabbed his hand when he was in front of him. Steele grabbed the colar of his shirt and held him up in the air. Steele begam to electricute Zero.

Zero:AAAAAAUUUUHGGG!!

Steele stopped his attack and thrusted Zero foward. Steele unsheathed his sword as Zero grabbed the ground to prevent from sliding back any furthur. Steele held up his sword to his face and turned the sword to the left.

Steele: Sacred Sword Technique number ONE!!

He threw his sword straight down into the ground. Zero warped behind Steele and delivered a hard kick that sent him flying.

Zero:HA!! What happened to you---

Steele appeared behind Zero. Zero tried to react, but it was too late. Steele kicked up him into the air, Steele jumped up as well. In his right hand he began to charge up red lightning.

Steele: Lightning Dive!!!

Steele lunged towards Zero, and grabbed his throat shocking him. Then he thrusted himself and Zero back into the ground (Similar to Ganondorf's Dark Dive in the air).

Steele jumped back up and took a few paces back, to see if he would get back up.

[MM, L.O.G]
Pasture, Outside Forever Forest

MM woke up the next morning to the sound of a chirping bird.

MM:ah, beautiful morning, finally out of that stupid forest.

MM then remembered L.O.G. abandoning him

MM:That stupid computer...i bet everything it said about me was all lies...Anyways i need to go to Darkwood forest...

MM packed all his stuff and headed towards Darkwood Forest. On his way it slowly got more gloomy. The clouds started to roll in and MM knew something bad was gonna happen. He rached the brim of the forest and there was a purple haze and it was almost pitch black. Creatures stirred in the ominous forest.

MM:Well, ive been here before, made it through so i bet i can do it again...

MM entered the forest. As he walked, more eyes stared at him; watching his every move. Some showed parts of their bodies in the very little light shining through the canopy. There were wolves....and things that didnt make sense. Soon enough beetles followed MM. Now these werent ordinary beetles....they were at least the size of a bus...some were even bigger! After about an hour of walking through the trails blindly, MM noticed the Beetles following him. There were 20 beetles.

MM:WHOA...thats a little.....odd isnt it?

Beetles:SCREEEE

MM:That sounds like a metroid.

Beetles:....er.....Beetle!Beetle!

MM:Now what are you? A Pokemon?

Beeltes:Shut up!

MM:Go back to scree....it was better....

Beetles:SCREEEEE

MM:HOLY CRAP! Huge beetles!

Beetles:SCREE SCREEEEEE!!!

MM drew his sword and sliced one in half with ease.

MM:That was....too easy.

MM sliced the rest up.

MM:Yo!Director!Whats with the cheesy beetles?

Director:Just keep going!

MM:ugh...well that was easy....ill set up camp in the open hollow in the center of the forest.

MM kept on walking until he reached the hollow and he set up camp for the night.

Meanwhile...

Rai and haylee were barely half way to th Darkwood Forest when haylee had second thoughts.

Haylee:Maybe Luca is right...maybe we shouldwait...im sure hes fine...

Rai:Fine!Go back but im still going!

Haylee:Rai...trust me...i know you trust me...

Rai:He might--

Haylee:Please rai.....pleeeeaaaase!

Rai:Okays we'll go back and wait there....

Rai and Haylee returned to the HQ and heard some explosions and saw a mysterious person fly out the door.

Meanwhile...

Luca was disturbed by this racket. He went to the balcony over the main loby where Zero and a mysterious person were fighting.

Luca:What the hell?

He stood up there watching the battle
