Chapter 2: Search for Protection

Ashura flew toward the wall but however he recovered fairly well and somersault's backwards and his hand and knee touches against the wall cracking it some then after a very short while it crumbles down with me still on it he jumps off it and rolls onto the ground quickly and fastly takes his sword out toward Dobs and while still on one knee some he brings his blade toward Dobs neck as a small amount of blood seems to appear on his lip

Ashura: Not bad.

As Snicket and the rest of the Creators' Alliance waited patiently for the SSS to gather together, the radar showing most of the forumers' dots on Shadow Moses Island, Snicket felt a familiar vibrating at his waist. He reached inside his cloak and found the Pokeball which he had not taken out for quite some time.

Sandshrew... he thought. I never really got acquainted with him...perhaps now is as good a time as any...while I am waiting...

Bob tossed the Pokeball onto the ground, and out came Sandshrew; he was no longer sleeping, but was very restless, which caused his Pokeball to vibrate. The ground-type Pokemon looked up at Bob as he stretched from his long confinement.

"Hello, Sandshrew," Snicket said. "We haven't had a chance as of yet to get acquainted with one another, but I'm your...er...new...owner. My name is Bob Snicket."

A voice very similar to his nonchalant tone except a bit higher pitched said, "Yes, I know, Bob. But honestly, how long do you think I can sleep? I burned less calories in that Pokeball than my total experience...which is 0!"

Snicket stared wide-eyed at Sandshrew. "Did...you just talk?"

Sandshrew nodded. "Yes, I am among the very few Pokemon with the ability to both understand and speak human language. So, Bob Snicket, tell me more about my new master..."

Snicket began to converse.

Doom stuck his head from a wall where Ashura and Dob's were fighting

Doom: one of them looks familiar and the other i have no clue....i shouldn't interfere cause i do like to see a good fight.

Mariella: UGHHH!!! i DONT have time for this!!!!!!

Mariella withdrew her staff and used it to magnify her telepathic powers. She ran through the swarm, swinging left and right. Not necessarily hurting them, but pushing them far out of the way. There were primids flying left and right as Mariella made a mad dash for the stone. She could see it, it was just out of reach when a huge greap appeared in front of the armor clad woman.

Mariella: You people cant make my life simple for once?

Dobs stared at the massive blade being held to his neck. He flipped back in his usual manner, however internally he noticed a difference. He was getting tired....he tried with every fiber of his being not to show this to his opponent.

Dobs: You haven't seen the least of what i can do.

He stands up tall slightly turned from his opponent he senses someone spying on us... his eyes shift over to that very spot in time

re shifts his eyes over to Dobs with a killing look in his eyes turning away from his foe... which is not good in a fight but maybe he knows something

Ashura: there's no reason to fight you anymore... your getting tired i don't need to waste my time here with you i have something waiting for me.

Ashura bends his legs some beginning Ashura begins to dash off starting at 60 mph searching for the Niluck Stone.

Dobs had seen that ashura had seen someone and looked over to the area.

Dobs: DOOM!?!?!? Dude, we have to help Mariella get that Niluck peice before that guy does..

Dobs doesnt really wait for an answer and grabs doom and begins sprinting towards Mariella. After beating down exactly 72.6 primids, Dobs and Doom had found Mariella and the greap holding her up.

Dobs: Hey *pants* we gotta *pants* get this stone....NOW! Ashura's coming!
Mariella: Im workin on it, any ideas Doom?

Ashura runs thew the creatures killing one after another on his way he takes out his Sword figuring he'll need it his Sword pulsates helping him locate the Stone

Ashura: that way is it. heh, fine by me.

he runs at the same speed he started toward the area where the Stone is supposedly suppose to be one of the Creatures run towards him and he quickly kicks it away... almost being there a large one of those things land in front of him he smirks and jumps over its head then comes down massively cutting it in two with abit of a strange extended spin to his attack th entire island shakes from the impact of his sword he quickly continues on his way toward the Stone seeing a figure that resembles Dob. still few ways back

Smashbro had been silent for some time now, but keeping up with his group.
"Dang, this place has changed since I last remembered," commented smashbro. "But some things never change. Everyone! Listen up. I think I know where the piece could be. last time there was a room empty except for a pedastal, which had the red orb atop it, the one thats in the HQ right now. If it was put somewhere, it would be there. It could be hidden, yes. but look for the room thats completely emepy except for a pedastel. And watch out for traps..."

Ladon: Understood Smashbro. I will split up, you guys can stay together, Smashbro is that scale I gave you begins to glow then drop it, it will float and point you in the irection of me, for that is my own scale.
Ladon flew from the group in one direction.

IOwnedYou was forced to look at the stone. So he shot at it with 3 ice shards, a shockwave and set it to fire with lava. " Hehehehe... They can't protect the fort now", he sent a huge ice thorn up to just to make sure. When he was really far away. The stone only had a burn on it and rolled down and onto the dirt. IOwnedYou kept walking for sometime. He stopped to think a couple of times. Then he heard footsteps. Army soilders were coming! " I thought I killed you all!" he then started bloacking the path getting bored of fighting them. He made a 5 foot thick ice wall that was 75 feet tall and 13 yards wide. He broke down a tree running at highspeeds. He took sap from a deeply cut tree and spread on the ground. He made lava shoot up then froze it to magma, it was magma thorns. He then put ice on the ground then melted it and sent electricity through it. He kept running. He stopped and looked back. " god d*mn...", he looked up and saw he was in a place where the forumers were just recently but there was a trace of them now. " Interesting"

"...and that's my story up until this point," Bob finished.

Sandshrew was silent for a moment, then finally spoke in a perfectly calm voice frighteningly similar to his. "Wow, that's quite some tale you have, Bob Snicket. I am sure I will be most pleased to help you in your endeavors. As for my past, my parents were also killed, only almost immediately after I was born. I was raised for a month in the Pokemon Breeding Center in Poketown, then shipped to the Pokemart, which is where you found me. However, I feel as if my life hasn't really been much of a life up until this point; it's been completely without any opportunities of making choices or even being able to train or run around. I certainly hope that you won't leave me in my Pokeball that often frequently."

"I apologize for that, Sandshrew," Snicket said sincerely. "I was incredibly busy, and until a little while ago, was in a place where you probably wouldn't have wanted me to let you out: a place called Subspace. You may leave and enter your Pokeball as you please, as I can see that you are, even at your young age, already more mature than most Pokemon ever become."

Sandshrew nodded approvingly. "Excellent. If you don't mind, I'd like to stay outside for quite a while to get more familiar with this world and actually gain some experience." With that, Sandshrew, with surprising strength and agility, climbed Snicket's cloak and stood on his shoulder. "Ah, yes, I like this view! Do you mind?..."

"Not at all," Snicket said smiling, turning back to the radar.

Donin runs with Smashbro throughout the smoke, fallen debris and tremors.
"What are they doing here, It sounds like a bowling alley!!", Smashbro said "Perhaps there are intruders." "Well we need to find that Niluck piece real quick like because if i didnt know any better this place is ready to go down!" Donin screamed over the commotion. Donin ran at normal speed seaching every room he could, it seems like hours and he was beginning to think the Niluck was nowhere to be found. "It's hopeless", he thought in his head. Donin said to Smashbro "If we don't find that piece I'm gonna be the one breaking this place down!!" He said with passion. Smashbros said" Calm down, I'm sure we are getting closer and closer my the minute", "you mean by the hour..." mumbled Donin.

Night fell on Kotaro. Villagers planned on a ceremony to those who have fallen. Geo, eKin, Allyn and Kin stayed at the Villagers Villa.

ALLYN: This is soo bad now. Elder is gone now what?

GEO: What's the big deal Allyn? Just have his son take over.

eKIN: It's not that simple in Kotaro.

KIN: Then how is the next Elder decided?

ALLYN: Divine Right Tournament.

GEO: What? A tournament?

ALLYN: Selected individuals from Kotaro head for the Battle Arena. There are always one on one matches. Whoever wins first place is the new Elder. Second place is the sucessor.

KIN: So wouldnt the previous elder have a sucessor?

eKIN: He did, but .........

KIN:.Well....

ALLYN: Kin here was the sucessor. After he lost to the Elder, he left the village to return in vengance. That's why he is hated in Kotaro.

GEO: Your older than I thought Kin. To battle the Elder hundreds of years ago and look in your prime.

eKIN: That'll be my secret Devensian.

ALLYN: There will be a message about when and where the tournament will be.

KIN: Maybe we can watch this what do you think?

eKIN: Hmph..I don't care
